I enjoyed a great buffet style meal with my 2yo and wife!
Everything was great. Great employee's great food. I love to eat there when ever I get a chance to
Food is great. The glazed honey chicken are the best and to die for. Such a variety of all different kinds of chicken pork seafood. Absolutely delicious. If you don't feel comfortable sitting down you can get the buffet to go as well. You can still have your favorite food but yet still feel comfortable at home. Definitely stop in and try the honey glaze chicken as well as everything else
We love eating at En En. The staff Is very friendly. The have a great variety of well prepared food. Prices are very reasonable. We eat there twice a week at least. Their hot and sour soup is to die for.
I have to say I was very surprised. The assignment was better than any Buffet I have been to. And the server stayed on top of drink refills. I'll go again when I'm in the area
have been passing the sign for over eight years now. family birthday and rochester favorite place was beginning to suck. so we traveled an hour south and bowled and then eat. fabulous FABULOUS food! there were seven of us, and it was a unanimous vote that this is our new favorite place. 7 food bars and all fresh and hot. probably the best egg roll i've had in years! staff was friendly and we will all definitely be back again. thank you!
A fresh coat of paint, booths reupholstered and very clean. Quiet and relaxing while still being family-friendly. Food was very fresh and had a great variety. Service was great as well.
Went with 3 other people. For 2 of us it was our first visit. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Very friendly staff and felt very welcome. I love the decor and the food variety. I would like to return again!
Was nice and quiet .when we ate dinner there. Food delish , very attentive waitress tip her well, she made sure we constantly had refills and was very nice always with a smile.
I was a little hesitant about trying this restaurant because of the negative and some downright nasty reviews I read about it, but we decided to give it a try. We were quite surprised and pleased with the quality and selection of the food. The food was fresh and warm. The staff was friendly and attentive to us. Cleaning the plates as we finished and keeping our drinks refilled. Tea and coffee was good. The restaurant itself was very clean with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Only negative comment I have is take your coat to the restroom with you. They were cold. Will definitely be returning here for another meal.
I had not been to EnEns in awhile so to go back and find the wonderful improvement it's made was a surprise. The food seams more high quality iv not really had to much problem with any of the staff ever and that's only gotten better and me and my friend have "fuller figures" and the person who seated us made sure we had enough room to sit instead of shoving us into a booth or bitween two family tables. The food hit the spot nothing was cold or under cooked everything was sanitary
I love En En's because it's clean with a good variety of food and they maintain the buffet very well. The servers are very nice.
Good chinese buffet. Lots of american fair offered as well. Best to go at busier times when food turnover is high.
A well deserved 5 star! Everything has a price point. It’s clean, hot food, server was pleasant. For the price I paid $15 for a Chinese buffet it exceeded my expectations. Also included drinks in the price. Selection was reasonable for the price. Good place to pop in and eat. Would I eat here again YES.
One of the last standing buffet options we go to when we can. Good food. Good price. We missed the crab legs and we want to try them. Definitely recommend for a quick bite. Recommend going during peak hours for freshness like any buffet.
I've read these reviews, some very bad. My experience here today has been great! Crab Rangoon was outstanding! Hot & Sour Soup was delicious, spiced up just right. The fish was great as was all the sushi. I can go on and on, I didn't eat anything that I would complain about. I can't imagine how this place gets a bad review, I would recommend this to anyone.
The reviews here are absolutely awful. The place is super clean. Food is awesome. Service is absolutely amazing. Our waiter was super friendly, I’ve been coming here since I was 2 (11 years ago,) and I’ve never had a bad experience here! I am an autistic 13 year old and I didn’t need to take my noise canceling headphones! The place was super quiet.
Large variety of flavorful food. Attentive but not overbearing service. Price in line with similar buffets. I wouldn't avoid the place based on other reviews. This was the second time eating here and both times I have felt the place exceeded other reviewers' comments.
WOW - FIVE STARS - 4:45 on a Friday evening. Not my usual time to go. Usually 3 stars at the kind of off time I normally go, but worth it even then. Very glad I did skip out of work a bit early, and on a Friday. Everything was spot-on perfect. Hot, Fresh, Tender, Tasty. I truly hope your meal is every bit as good as mine was.
Great food, great prices! The sushi is always fantastic with a decent variety and the fried dumplings are crispy!
The food is so fresh and the service is so good but I will come back but this is like I don't know my 20th time here.
Another very good Chinese buffet meal. Everything I had was fresh and very good. The peel your own shrimp were hard to peel for some reason!?
Get there when the food is fresh for the best experience.
EN EN was clean, service was there when you needed it, but not hovering which is good. Plenty of food options. Price for dinner was on par for the course. They need to do some remodeling...booths overly worn, ceiling tiles in rough shape. Food was so so, nothing I would write home about. For all these reasons I give a 4 star.
You can't beat the price. The service is usually good. I love the stuffed mushrooms. Lately the food seems to be less fresh than before. The ladies room is very unpleasant.
Food was good. Service was very attentive. Atmosphere was ok.
The atmosphere was nice and light; we were seated sorta near other people to the point where it almost felt like a usual family dinner night out (b.c. before Covid). Food was good, and there were many interesting options; overall a fun lil spot with nice employees 👍
Food was good. Green beans, broccoli and sushi rolls were highlights for me. Decent variety for a smaller place, lots of standard Chinese American classics. Service was good and very.friendly.
There's a good selection of food some of the seafood wasn't as delicious as other restaurants and I'd pass next time but the crab bake was good. Not as creamy/greasey as ive had other places. I perfer it drier like todays. but the mushrooms.beef/chicken broccoli. Sugar donuts. Chicken wings were typical good. Not super fresh and I'm sorry but broccoli and mushroom dishes are way better at Chinese buffets when they have been sitting awhile! So not fresh is good as long as there's not flies! Typical icecream and dessert selection. And a few dishes we never had in hornell/Wellsville. Service was really good though. And cost 52 before tip for 2 adults a teen and child at buffet.
Food is very good, but the last 2 times it wasn't hot enough. Service is great.
I typically do not like buffets, mostly because of cleanliness and quality, but I must say En En's is above average. They are constantly cleaning around the buffet and sweeping the floors. The food is always on point, the staff is very catering and nice. They are quick to take your empty plates and refilling your drink. The layout is secluded in some areas which is nice for larger parties. I would recommend to anybody.
It's a basic buffet. If you have high food expectations this isn't for you. The casinos is your best bet for quality and quantity. These places are decent tasting food where you can get a lot of it for the price. So don't expect much. With that said there is a lot of options to choose from . Some of the waitresses could be more friendly. But that's all these places.
Good food, good variety, great customer service. Nice little buffet
I enjoyed the food and the company of my family. I didn't like the fact that they came out to count us like pigs to make sure everyone was paid up. It's been a few years since I have been up to see them. Just watching them count us was rude. I even paid upfront for people to show up. Still recommend it. Good food. Decent drink refills. My uncle loves this place.
Crab legs on the weekends, from 3:30PM to closing. Lunch buffet is a bit dry at times, but dinner is stacked after 4:00PM. Tons of different seafood options, even iced shrimp/stone crab/crayfish. Fried butterfly shrimp, multiple types of clams, frog legs, multiple types of sushi. Had an entire hibachi station, loads of ingredients. Ice cream station as well for the kiddies. Highly recommended on a dinner weekend!
Place was ok. We liked most of the food. We got there at 11 all food was hot. Service was great too. -Serves pepsi flavors 😎 - 2 of use came up to $26 and come change with drinks. They have ice-cream as well.
There must be a new chef because lately the food has been very fresh and good and the place is clean I've eaten there twice recently and the result is the same you don't leave with that. MSG full, sick feeling either. The food is tasty and always being brought out fresh. The sushi is also very good and fresh.
Food was just ok. Ceiling tiles brown an saggy from water damage. Many chicken choices, but it was all relatively salty. Bathroom cold as hell. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Seems like they're big business is tour bus traffic, full of Asian tourists, so we locals expect better and we have other choices. Where as bus tourism dosen't offer those other choices.
Not great but not bad.
the food is very good but the large prawns had their intestines. this is unpleasant.. If they removed the intestines from the large shrimp, I could say that the food was 100% excellent, but because of the intestines in the large shrimp, I thought it was horrible.
Could use air fresheners. Foods usually cold, When its hot its ok. UPDATE 6/6/22 I am pleased to say they have cleaned the place up , smells better, food tastes good, but offer less buffet choices for a 15$ lunch!
Food is cold it tastes wrong
You gotta get there on the right day. Hard to get there on the day that food is fresh and well stocked. Still not a terrible place, but they could do better. Sometimes the waitresses seem like they're pushing you out the door.
My review gives credit for the vast array of items served but needs to note that the quality of the items was less than desired compared to the average buffet style restuarant. The crab was far too over cooked, the peel and eat shrimp had rancid pieces in it, pot stickers (steamed dumplings) were burned dry, the hot tea was hot water in a dirty pot inside, the food in general was dry overcooked and left out till inedible hardness. They need more turnover on the food fast for fresher portions. Like I said, great selection but poor quality of food.
So for the $ you can't beat it. At the same time food comes from the kitchen and hits the buffet and it's COLD! Not everything and not every time. Head chef needs to stay off the phone and on his chefs. Pay attention bro and care like you used too. You are there literally everyday they are opened. You know what the food danger zone is, So get all your food out of it!
Looks pretty nasty on the outside but clean and well taken care of on the inside. Some food was cold or mediocre warm. All in all it's on the top 5 of Chinese food in this area that I have tried.
Took 3 kids for dinner so it was a little under $70 for the 4 of us. But the food was really not very good, so for what we ate, there were many better choices. The kids liked the mac and cheese, fruit, and some breaded chicken. We all agreed that the actual Chinese food: fried rice, egg rolls, General Tsos, etc., were pretty bad for a chinese restaurant. I liked the BBQ pork and chicken wings. Service was great, they quickly picked up plates, brought refills, and were very friendly. I wouldn't eat here again though, because of the bland Chinese options.
Weirdos, employees stand and watch you get your food, they stare at you, very judgmental mannerisms. Food has improved but the atmosphere is starving, they don't get much business probably because of how uncomfortable it is. I was disgusted by their behavior.
Hit and miss, been great and lousy. The worst wascrab leg night, I arrived to empty, they put out a few and I did't get any. I waited by the empty pan for 20 minutes to get a few. The staff are nice and attentive.
Very mediocre food, serious concerns about food temperature. Unless something was just put out, everything is sort of warmish, not hot at all. The food quality is below average with a few exceptions that are pretty good. Atmosphere indicates it was a pretty nice place a few decades ago but is in disrepair now. Service was very good. Prompt, kind, and friendly. If you're looking for good food, go to any other chinese restaurant in town. But hey, sometimes you just want a variety of mediocre food to fill you up, and that's okay, that's what this place is for. Edit 12/1/23: I tried again today for lunch and got there soon after it opened to make sure I got the hottest, freshest food available. I was disappointed. Once again, nothing I tried was hot. I even scooped a few pieces from the bottom of the serving dish onto my plate and ran back to the table to make sure it was as hot as possible. It was barely lukewarm. Just above room temperature for a minute or two, and cold after that. Aside from that, the sushi was a little fishy (I know it's literally fish, but it was "fishy" in that not-good sort of way), and the "baked salmon" was some sort of whitefish that tasted like lukewarm jellied mediocrity. I checked the state data on health inspections. Last inspection was in April this year and there were numerous temperature and cleanliness violations, but overall the establishment passes. So it's probably safe, but I reiterate my SERIOUS CONCERNS about FOOD TEMPERATURE. There were a dozen other people there, and they seemed to enjoy the food. Maybe I'm too picky. Definitely try it for yourself. Please don't take that as a recommendation.
I can't believe how much the price has jumped. Almost $20, per person with one adult and two 10-year-olds. Food was ok. The place was completely over crowded in some seating areas, and other areas barely use. The staff never cleared any of our dishes or asked if we wanted refills, but made sure to mention a tip when bringing our fortune cookies as we were leaving. Overall it wasn't horrible, I've seen, tasted and been to way worse. But, its not on my recommended list.
Make sure you get a receipt! The total i signed for verses what was charged is different. It seems they added their own tip!! And that's correct, there were NO CRAB LEGS!! They lied to us too! That place also needs deep cleaning it's very dirty.
Food was either too dry or too grease. They didn't have a good variety to choose from. When I went into the bathroom there was a wet florr sign on the door and it looked like there was a flood in there. 2 out of 3 toilet had per on the seat. The booth we sat at had tips in it also.
Like coming here regular. Went today at noon for lunch. Most of the hot food was cold. The plus is the Hershey ice cream at the end for dessert. Some were out and others were at the bottom. Asked about changing the empties out. The waitress said they don't have more. Running out is unthinkable.
Some of the food that has supposed to be hot, was cold. My daughter and I liked some of the food, but was not overwhelmed by it. The waitress was very nice, but the person at the front counter was not as personable. Overall, was disappointed, with the restaurant.
It needs some love. Back in about 2008/2010 this place was pretty good, Now it needs some love both to decor and quality of food.. Everything is Greasy and Bland. I feel like I'm rolling the dice whenever I eat there. The employees are always friendly, it's just everything else, Show some care, Show some pride in the food you prepare and serve.. It's sad because Chinese Buffet style restaurants are so nostalgic to me.
I was there on a Thursday night about 5:00. Very displeased because most of the "hot" foods was very cold. Also only couple of fresh dishes was brought out...most of it tasted like it was sitting out since lunch (or before). Sad because they used to have really good food.
The staff, although usually very considerate was very awkward and we left much sooner than we normally would because it was uncomfortable. We still tipped of course, maybe just an off day. The food was all hot and good. The cleanliness was a little less than you want to see somewhere you're eating.
Ok first off the floors are sticky, sometimes the food is cold, the food tastes great but it doesn't settle in your stomach (diarrhea),but the bathroom is updated so that's cool. I've gone here alot and I love the foods flavor but it really isn't good for you and it isn't clean.
Thinking back of course 25 years ago, this place had once great food. I was recently here for a dinner over the weekend and was quite mostly disappointed. The mongolian wok has nobody tending it full time and a home doorbell to alert their staff to help you (why should the customer have to ring a bell after paying quite well for a dinner already). Seafood across the board looked very unappetizing and I steered clear. They need to scrap the seafood idea and attempt to put quality back into their core american chinese food. Also the food tasted as if it was frozen and reheated, I'd advise finding another venue for your family dinner. I will not be returning here unless I read some positive reviews.
The quality of this food is hit or miss. Some of the spicy dishes Taste like there’s not much sauce in it at all. Soup tastes watered down. And the staff is constantly talking Amongst themselves. Sometimes it seems like there’s more staff than customers in there. If you come here, expect the food to be bland.
We used to love this place but this visit was literally awful. The food was old, hard and literally disgusting like no flavor and everything tasted the same to the point neither of my kids would touch it and kept saying yuk the whole time even the fruit and jello and pudding and they normally love it. Then if you ask if they are bringing more of something out noone seems to know. The server was the only halfway decent part about it however felt she kept rushing me and trying to take my plates. Plus all the employees were going through the plates on the buffet and pulling the dirty ones. The floor of the restaurant was disgustingly dirty and the women's bathroom was freezing cold and tons of water on the ground that was leaking from somewhere and instead of mopping it up at all just had a fan pointed in it. Will never go back.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I'll start with the PRO's: Ample amount of seating inside... a large selection of food, which happily surprised me... everything looked to be relatively clean, tables, chairs, plates, buffet area, so that was a nice plus... staff was attentive to refilling drinks and clearing dirty dishes. CON's: I'm not a big fan of paying the bill first before even eating, I understand that some places do this to avoid theft but it was a slight inconvenience... like other reviews I've read, most of my food was lukewarm. Nothing smelled or tasted off but I did expect the food to be warmer than it was... not the greatest atmosphere. Dark, quiet, and dated. Not a huge deal but it did affect the overall experience. I can't say that I would recommend this place as a first choice, I don't know if dinner is better than lunch but I think I will skip this place the next time I'm in Corning.
Worst meal I have ever had. Left a nasty taste in my mouth that I couldn't get out. What a waste of $93
Been here twice in the past year or so and each time the food was lukewarm at best, some of it not even warm. Won’t go back. Too bad because it used to be decent in the past.
I have eaten there plenty of times unfortunately mite not again tried to eat there crab legs and they smelt rotten thought maybe it was just me and my wife and kids had the same thing completely turned our stomachs
Do not even waste your money . When u tell you that half of the food on the bar was not hot that includes the fish ! A disaster .. I remember a few months ago it wasn’t this bad but now it’s not worth it .. most of the food is either unflavored or straight up cold .. If your looking for beef on the bar forget about it .. chicken, pork and seafood only . Even the Lomein was fed up , gummy noodles .. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a Chinese buffet ! The sushi was cremated .. I paid my respects as I moved on .. crab rangoons more like sad rangoons … the soda machine was the only thing still alive in this establishment. The fruit bar is the only thing still edible here . Please for your health don’t .
I haven’t been here in 10 years or so since the “remodel” and noticed the food had also tasted different. Today, the food is so slimy and texture is almost like everything has been boiled. The chicken, beef, and shrimp lack the flavor I remember from here. The rice is gritty + chunky and a very odd flavor. I quickly remembered why I do not come here.. $13+ for a soggy lunch
This was the worst chinese food my family and I have ever had. The only way I could leave a review was to give it 1 star. But it doesn't deserve that. I watched the grease drip from all of the food on my plate, even the veggies. The salad was brown, the white rice was hard and the desserts were flavorless, which is sad because ether are store bought. The wait staff was in the ladies room at the same time as I was and the rinsed their hands but didn't use soap, I asked if she was going to wash her hands and the response was "it will be ok". Absolutely the worst dining experience ever.
Good was not fresh, tasted like it’s been sitting for a while. Barely had shrimp or seafoods.
Food cold, cold has heck inside. You seen steam from the food but the steam was from the warmer for the food. Never going back. Worse ever. The service was great...
This used to be my favorite restaurant! Very sad that it has gone downhill so bad. The food, the new people, just everything.
We had to wait over 10 minutes to eat, almost none of the food was ready, they need new cooks.the whole concept of business is the customer comes first, that didn't happen here.
Food was cold, it looked run down, doesn't look clean, seats are all torn, the man on the phone with his ear pods was loud, half the food doesn't look edible and the chicken was fried and thrown into old sauce by the looks of it. Also paying 12 bucks for cold food in a shady looking place I'll go to QQ in Mansfield, Pa for $4 less and have a warm meal.
Worst place to eat ever. Me, my husband, nephew and niece went there to eat and less than a half hour all four of us had to stop the car and puked, the hot food was cold the cold food was watm. Rude waiters, mens bathroom has mold on the inside door, the womens stalls do not lock. I am calling health department in the morning to tell them about the place. It needs to be shut DOWN. I WILL NEVER EVER BE GOING BACK AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER.
This buffet is the worst I've ever been to. First impression, the waiter conserging us was quite rude and impatient. Second the environment was greased , dirty and out of maintenance. The food didn't help it's score at all. Almost all the meat dishes are fried chickens fried so hard they were difficult to chew. I suspect the only reason this buffet can survive is the travel company that drop tour groups here for lunch.
Our waitress was very nice. But the food was horrible and unhealthy, even the “fresh” fruits tasted funny. I guess it is good if you want to lose weight because we left the place without eating much. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Decided to go to a different Chinese buffet today, and wishing we never did... first glimpse okay it smelt good, but once we started digging in everything was just gross. All the chicken was nasty, the noodles were very over cooked the deserts were warm, brown spots on alot of the fruit. My dinner consisted of green beans... after trying a few things I didn't even trust the food.. I'm not the one to complain but wow.. my first instinct of how un kept the outside was we should of kept moving. Not to mention the power went out 3x during the course of our dinner... and paid $55 will NEVER go back and do NOT recommend!!
The food was shocking. Lowest possible quality, the crab wasn’t even real crab, the food was cold I kid u not I ate cold fried shrimp, cold Mac n cheese cold chicken etc. Literally nothing was warm. The floor was very slippery I even fell once. As you are taking food the staff is constantly eyeing you and making you feel uncomfortable very judgy atmosphere. The ice cream was good tho Ngl. But on top of this I had diharrea after and my sister was suffering from food poisoning after our stay at the buffet. Please do not go here if u can It completely ruined my love for buffets absolutely shocking
This place had really nasty food and was not clean. I was concerned about many offerings that were supposed to be hot but were luke warm. I always try the local buffet when I travel and this one, hands down was the worst I've been to.
Called AHEAD and placed my order. Arrived and was told it would be 3 more minutes (got sweet n sour chx and white rice) bc the chicken wasnt done yet. After the chicken was done, she THEN told me the rice wasnt ready and it would be “at least” another 10 minutes. I told her i couldnt wait that long - which is why I PRE-ORDERED! She said they could give me fried rice as a free upgrade. I dont like fried rice - but whatever, I said ok because i HAD TO GET TO WORK! At that point, no one was cooking the fried rice and i was just standing there waiting for fried rice bc according to them the white rice wasnt ready. After SEVERAL MORE MINUTES OF NO ONE COOKING, i told her i needed a refund bc i needed to get to work. She walked in the back. I had to call her up to the counter and ask 2 more times for a refund - it was OBVIOUS she was ignoring me. I told her AGAIN I wanted a refund bc i had no food and she had taken my money. She said she would have to call her boss. I ended up having to leave WITHOUT THE FOOD OR A REFUND AND WAS LATE TO WORK. Avoid this place….
I didn't have high expectations for this place. But they were below my mediocre expectations. This might be the worst buffet I've had in my life. As other reviews said; the food was cold. Not only that but the food was super salty and that's coming from someone that likes salt. Everything was bad. I don't usually rate anything 1 star but they crossed the line when even the PEPSI was watered down. Who does that? That makes no sense. Make the soda taste the best you can so customers drink more of it and eat less food so you make more money. There's 0 logic in watering down the soda. Ended up throwing up a bit after getting home. Truly disappointing food experience. So for anyone that reads this please take my word for it and go spend your hard earned money elsewhere. These people clearly don't care about what their customers eat.
Well when we got there they were bringing out hot food that we thought was hot. When we started to eat the food was barely warm the bread was cold and the diced potatoes were half cooked and still kinda hard and cold. Won't make that mistake again, cause we decided not go there anymore.
There was only one car in the parking lot when we arrived for dinner at 6:45, so we quickly drove off and ate elsewhere. I can’t imagine what the food would be like at a buffet with no customers.
Food was cold and something tasted rotten
This used to be my favorite restaurant. Looked forward all day to go for dinner. Not only was the staff rude, they refused to fill the food at all the whole time we were there. A worker yelled at my daughter for accidentally dropping food on the floor. The workers were eager to get us out after three plates and glared at us the whole time we were there. We weren't offered refills until after our ice cream for our drinks. What little food was there was not very hot. I was so disappointed and disgusted by the way we were treated tonight. Was dedicated to this restaurant as my favorite and now I never wanna return. We were not treated woth respect.
The food was absolutely terrible, cold, and gave most of my family a stomach ache. This is the only restaurant that I really wanted to leave right off the bat but didn't want to waste money. Staff were also rude. Would give it zero stars but can't. Do not eat here.
Building is in need of repairs....While the cashier was friendly... the server was forget ful on the coffee condiments. The peanut chicken meat was cold, and not up to health saftwy standards! Along with the price is way too high for a run-down establishment. Was hoping to support a small business, however unfortunately will NOT be returning to this buffet company!
35$ for two people to sit down and eat cold food told them it was cold and we just sat down with it and they took the plates and laughed at us seriously what a joke
This place use to be good. Spent 30 bucks and everything was cold. Wasted money never again will I eat in this place again. It should be shut down food definitely wasn't up to temp. Very disappointed
This buffet was a favorite when I was in high school and I was so excited to go back... unfortunately we had to leave and go elsewhere as the food was awful. Tasted as though it had sat out for days. Tried the hibachi hoping making it fresh would help but I think that may have been even worse. It was so hot in there I was sweating just sitting in the booth. The soda was not even good and we all had 3 diff kinds.
I called ahead because someone had told me that this restaurant had crab legs on the buffet on the weekend. The employee told me they did and it began at 3pm. I arrived shortly after 4pm and there was none…not even a space on the buffet for them…and I was told the crab legs were still cooking. I came here specifically because the restaurant told me they offered crab legs on the weekend…they charged me the weekend rate which is supposed to include crab legs… they dont have them and the rest of the food has been sitting here a while and is dried out and cold…. I should have known better when I came in after 4 and the place was empty. Live and learn. Dont come here unless you want cold food that’s been sitting around.
