Went here for dinner with some friends the other night and could not be happier with the experience. Our waitress, Autumn, was amazing and provided phenomenal service throughout the night. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were in town visiting some friends and wanted a nice romantic dinner before we get on the road home. We are from a small town that doesn’t have red lobster so we figured we’d go there for dinner. Wow what a cute little restaurant. Our server Vega was truly the best server we’ve ever had. My husband and I both work in the service industry and we were taking notes! She’s such a pleasant person. Since it was our first time there, she gave us great recommendations and we appreciate her for that. I hope to be a great server like Vega!! Highly recommend asking for Vega to be your server. You will not be disappointed

I can’t believe how much better the food and service had been compared to prior experiences. So far I have had the Lobster,(wow!!!) the Chicken and Alfredo (yum!!!) and the Cheddar Bay Biscuits are to die for! 💯% recommend to give it a retry people! You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to try more Lobster 🦞

I took my family out for a nice dinner here and we had a great experience. There was virtually no wait to be seated even on a busy Saturday night. Autumn took care of us, was friendly, and did an excellent job with checking up on us just the right amount. For food, I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out perfectly. Vegetables were well seasoned and the kids couldn’t get enough of the rolls! Will be coming back next special occasion.

After visiting this location a couple of years ago and left leaving unsatisfied, we gave it another go on 4/5/25 and what a turnaround it was! The food was excellent and brought to us in a timely manner. They didn’t have any baked potatoes ready, so they brought a side of mashed potatoes until the baked potatoes were done (even the littlest of things make a difference!). Our server, Timothy, was absolutely exceptional, making the visit all the better. I’m thrilled this location has turned things around and hope they continue to do so, since I’m always up for Red Lobster and it’s closer to home. Inside could use some minor updates, such as new carpet, but nothing too serious and doesn’t affect the great food or excellent service.

I hadn’t been to Red Lobster in quite a while, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was just as good as I remembered. Everything came out fresh and cooked just right. Shout out to Autumn. She was kind, attentive, and had a really calm, welcoming energy that made us feel right at home. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying your meal without being over the top. Will definitely be visiting again

Husband and I went for date night. We had a great time. Our server was amazing. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The food was delicious. I recommend the Parmesan crusted chicken to anyone. Husband had a steak and crab legs that was also perfect.. We will definitely go back again.

I had the most amazing experience at Red Lobster in Elmira, NY! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A huge thank you to Manager Bill Parshall, our wonderful server Lece, and even Phil, who wasn’t our server but still jumped in to help with such kindness. We originally ordered snow crab legs for my husband, but he ended up sending them back—not because they weren’t good (they tasted great!) but just because the portion seemed a bit small. He planned to order something else instead. When Manager Bill came by to check on us, we mentioned it was my husband’s birthday and how all he really wanted was some good crab legs. Without hesitation, Bill went above and beyond—personally bringing out a new, more generous serving of crab legs on the house in honor of my husband’s special day. And let me not forget to mention—the cheddar biscuits were absolutely amazing! Everything about our visit was warm, welcoming, and memorable. That gesture meant so much to us. The hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made our experience truly memorable. We left with full bellies and full hearts. Thank you, Red Lobster Elmira team, for turning a simple dinner into something truly special!

Went out for a family dinner to celebrate my son taking 1st in the qualifier for wrestling. The food and server Rachael was amazing. When my son wasn’t a fan of the spice on the fries she noticed and had more fires without seasoning on them for him and when my husband didn’t love the steak she took it back and said do you want a different one or another lobster tail or what can make this good for you. Rachel never let our drinks become empty and it was a very busy night. To top it all off her shift was over and she stayed because it was so busy, I’m glad she did and we got her as our waitress. I did just the chance to talk to her district manager I think his name was Rob or Tod (not sure what his name was)to talk with him about how great Rachel was and that every time I came into Red lobster I will be requesting her if she’s working. Thank you Rachel for the great experience 💛

It was crowded, but the wait was only 20mins and staff very friendly! Everything was good, except I discovered I don’t like lobster lol! Crab and shrimp were great. The crab-stuffed shrimp rangoon was the star of the show!! So creamy and crunchy and just like regular crab rangoon, but inside a shrimp. Yum. Cheddar bay biscuits are as good as they say!! Very sweet staff. The wait for food was not horribly long at all, despite the crowds. They said there were some new cooks learning, and they did well!

Best trip I've had here in along time ! Came for endless shrimp, my server warned me they were short staffed and food and refills were going to take awhile....he was on the ball none stop getting us double refills and made are dinner a really enjoyable experience I highly recommend and I left very full with lots of left overs !

Recently, (July 19, 2025) we had a large family dinner at the Red Lobster in Horseheads. We hadn't been there in a while. It was a great dinner. The service was very good from our waiter, Mike. All the dinners were excellent. It felt like the Red Lobster we have enjoyed in the past. Looking forward to our next visit!

Heard our Horseheads NY location was under new management so we went and checked it out. Our waitress was very sweet and great! Order to table time perfect and the food was hot and pleasing to the eye. The taste was outstanding! I had the create your own Ultimate Feast. I give this a full 10/10!! Asked if manager was in and he happened to be there. To manager Bill and the entire crew at our local RL- OUTSTANDING! Excited to come back! Thank you for a dining experience to remember!

It was the first time in a long time that my husband & I had excellent food & service at a Red Lobster. I had the 1# Cajun Crab meal. My husband had the Ultimate Feast. Everything was cooked just right. Our waitress was efficient & friendly. We almost missed out on the good food & service because when we walked in the door the smell of the sewage smacked us in the face. We were going to leave and then decided maybe where they seated us would be far enough from the smell. We could still smell it where we sat, but not as strong as when we walked in. No one wants to smell poo when they are eating!

Stacy was absolutely amazing, we had an issue with a gift card we were given as a gift. It was a "Let's Eat" "One4All" card. These cards are a huge pain! Both for the restaurant and the consumer they can ONLY be used in store. Stacy did an amazing job helping us with the issue and getting everything sorted out. She is the general manager, highly reccomend this specific Red Lobster Location their customer service is a 10/10 & the food is too!

We had a wonderful time at this Red Lobster! Our food was cooked perfectly! It took a while to get to us but it was super fresh and cooked to perfection so the wait wasnt that bad honestly not to have good food. The staff were also Amazingly polite. I had such a wonderful exerience with my family I made it a point to call and speak directly to a manager named Stacy! You guys are rocking it over there and deserve 5 stars for sure! Our drinks were great too! We will definitely be going back!

We had an amazing experience celebrating our second anniversary at Red Lobster in Horseheads, NY. Our waitress, Kelly, was incredibly nice and made our evening very special. She was thoughtful, took lots of cute pictures for us, and had the biggest smile on her face throughout the evening. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of parking available. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend it!

I go to a lot of Red Lobsters all over NY state. This has been the best one I’ve visited in recent years. Our waitress Lece was very pleasant. The food was great! The cheddar bay biscuits were delicious! So melty and good! The only negative was I didn’t get crackers with my crab legs so I had to wait a while to dig in to that deliciousness. Great place to eat. The bathroom was nice and clean too.

Food was as expected. Typical chain seafood restaurant. Hush puppies were overcooked almost burnt. The beer batter cod was actually pretty good. Overall the experience was ok. Restaurant wasn't overly crowded so conversation at our table was enjoyable because staff didn't interfere often. It seemed like it took awhile for our food to be delivered. But that could have just been because we were hungry almost hangry by the time it arrived to the table. I cant comment on overall price because I had been invited out with friends, but just seeing the prices on the menu I was shook! I'd rather buy my own lobster and cook it at home then pay $50+ for lobster 🦞 but for special occasions or celebrations I would recommend it just be prepared to have at least $100+ for 2 people to eat lobster.

Friendly staff, and everyone is wondering, yes, this Red Lobster has the best staff, and I'm super glad. Right out of Canada, it was better than the Red Lobster in Canada. We can learn something, like the lobster was not so salty and very juicy. Yes, thank you.

Came here to have dinner with my dad. The place is looking a little worn. There were not very many customers. We were sat in a booth right next to another couple when the place was so slow. My dad is hard of hearing and I felt so bad for the other table as I have to practically yell for him to hear me. Not sure why they do this. They could have kept us in the same section but put us a few tables apart. Disappointed the house salad isn't part of your meal anymore. It has to be a side choice. The rolls seemed subpar also. They were very greasy and not as light and fluffy as in the past Our server was very nice and also attentive. No complaints there. I do like the fact that there is plenty of parking and handicap spots, which my dad needs. The building and the bathrooms are handicap and walker friendly.

Phil was a sweetheart, he was nice, and attentive and did everything he could to make our party happy! The reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because our food took an hour, out of 3 meals all of them were cold, the chicken was well undercooked, and steak was not the correct cut of meat and well overdone then asked.

We ate there ( Chambers rd ) on 2/24/2025. I ordered the Lobster roll. When I got it there were no chunks of lobster meat!! The roll was full of CRUMBS of lobster hard and dry!! I did not complain because we were celebrating my Granddaughter’s Birthday and I did not want to spoil it by complaining and waiting for a replacement. I ordered extra drawn butter to pour over it so I could soften it. There was absolutely no flavor. I was VERY disappointed!!! That chef obviously didn’t know what a lobster roll was. Just wanted them to know.

My daughter was home from college and Red Lobster is her favorite. This was a fairly disappointing visit. When we arrived there was no one to be seen. No hostess, no waitress, no one at the bar. We knocked on the door to the kitchen with no response. We finally saw some waitresses and were told they were taking care of people and would be with us shortly. Mind you there wasn't even 5 tables with people in the entire place. Finally we were seated. The waitress and her trainee were friendly and helpful. Thankfully the food was warm and came in a timely manner. We will always go back but sure hope it's a better experience next time.

The new menu is terrible! And the prices are ridiculous! Spent 150$ for 2 with tip for very minimal overrated food. Me and the wife used to rever this as out favorite spot . We will never return again! Its a shame!!

I had the worst meal I have ever had at a Red Lobster. I ordered the bar harbor bake. It was overcooked, the Lobster tails were so dried up that they stuck inside the shell, and the mussels were dried up and shriveled, the shells crumbled to touch. I did express my disappointment to the waiter, which was met with very little "sympathy." I will not be patronizing that establishment again.

Very good service. Love the biscuits. Appetizer stuffed mushrooms. The first one my wife took was undercooked. The rest were cooked. Tons of melted cheese over the mushrooms. Had trouble finding the filling. Over seasoned. Wife got soup. Lobster bisque? No lobster. Really no lobster just soup. Cold soup. Not warm. Not creamy. Thin. Sent it back. My entree was Lobster Roll. Served on three Hawaiian rolls. Lobster cut into small cubes. Never again. Great French fries. Wife ordered Lobster and noodle dish. She liked it but said it was over seasoned. All in all chef seems to be in love with salt or salty seasoning. Lobster Roll wasn't worth the price. At least the waitress will be happy. I never take a bad meal out on the wait staff.

Had a half hour wait to be seated even though most tables were empty. Then another half hour until a waiter took our order. They forgot my fiancée drink order and gave her crab legs instead of scallops. The waiter was friendly but we saw several staff just walking around. Overall I wouldn't go back. Update 7/12/25 decided to give it another try. Seated at a table so wobbly it was disruptive. Waitress forgot about us after taking our order. Never brought out our salads until we said something. Food took almost an hour. Almost no dressing on salads. Little cup of ketchup for my fries and Little cup of sauce for her shrimp. Ordered another drink again forgot about. Didn't come until we spoke up. Place was mostly empty. Probably more servers than customers yet service was slow or nonexistent. Bathroom was filthy. So disappointed 😞

My husband has been wanting to try the boil. I myself do not like seafood of any kind.🤷🏼‍♀️ We went today. I had loaded baked potato , and brussel sprouts. Both delicious. Together $16.00 My husband had the boil with lobster , crab legs, shrimp. It came with corn and red potatoes. That $50.00 boil was horrible, way overcooked, corn was cow corn , not sweet corn. Key lime pie was good. 2 glasses iced tea. Our bill was $99.00 I owned a restaurant for over twenty years, would never have given my patrons junk like that. The waiter was a doll , but in way over his head with the # of tables he was given. I asked him how long he had been working there. He replied 3 years , but started as a server 2 months ago. All tables were dirty, no help except from the hostess, when she sat new people. Really the manager should be held accountable, no one else is to blame. I'm sure it affected that young man's tips. Uncalled for. Management should be ashamed

We ordered a lobster dinner, a crab legs dinner, & a kid's meal. Kid's meal was fine. The lobster bisque tasted like cheese sauce with lumps & no lobster or anything, just cheese sauce. The crab legs were good flavor-wise, but the shells were incredibly rubbery & hard to crack. The mashed potatoes were dry & didn't have much flavor. The server was very nice & removed the bisque from the bill. But $160 was still too much for a meal of that poor quality.

Sat at the bar. I don't know where to start. Glasses above the station filthy not clean. Really bad, finger prints o them and soap . Bar remained with last clients mess for 20 mins. No menu offered, napkins. Employees very unprofessional. Manager was running around looking for her card. Not doing much to help. Broken doors. Just not picked up or clean.

We first got there and the server didnt even announced specials or offer any samples when I told her it was my first time there. She didnt check ID but continued serving drinks to those of us who had it. The food was okay, some was good some wasnt, and the drinks were not made the same way every time. The first coolata I ordered was perfect and the second was doused in alcohol. Our partners with us couldnt even drink theirs because they were so strong. Our server tried keeping up with picking up plates and bringing out food but her mind seemed elsewhere. She did a good job for what she did but it could have been better. This was the worst $200 I have ever spent. I had a better experience at Texas roadhouse.

Terrible experience. Waited at host stand over 8 minutes before anyone came to seat us. Food was cold concerning since there was only 2 other tables in restaurant! Server never came back to table to see if we needed anything for over 35 minutes…and we needed ketchup and butter. Server with face piercings was very rude when I asked why she didn’t check back on us. Guess that’s why no one was there…I won’t be back!!

Our experience was awful and it was our first time here. In the beginning we were only given one basket of the lobster rolls, and she never gave us more. Then he had a beer sit empty for 25 minutes. Then our food came out, he asked for another beer and she must have forgot because we waited 10 more minutes. Then the server mentioned how she makes good money no matter what because the tabs are so high. I am a server myself so I understand the industry but knowing that this is a high chain restaurant you need servers who are more award of their customers. Our waitress talked to us like she saw us in a grocery store. She had no server force and didn’t break much of a smile. Then on the menu it read shrimp scampi and lobster. We got the shrimp, lobster but absolutely no scampi. Our bill was over $100 and we are extremely disappointed and will not be back here.

Very disappointed. Won't be going back. Called the manager and she did not care. Three issues First we placed an order that included two entrees. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The lobster potato was terrible. Please see the attached picture. It was just garbage with a single piece of meat, and very little sauce congealing at the bottom of an overly large container Second. Give up on curbside. Not going to happen. They just don't come out. We waited 5 minutes and then went in. Third. We spent $15 and expected a couple of biscuits. They've always given them to us in the past. They refuse this time citing policy. I called the manager. She was pleasant, terse, and clearly did not care. I do understand why the place is 2/3 empty on a Friday evening

Took forever to receive anything, got the food and it was cold, lobster wouldn’t even come out of the shell, never got checked on, didn’t even receive items we paid extra for and server was nowhere to be found to even ask for them.

First time to a red lobster in over 10 years, ive never had nastier food in my life. Everything was either salty, buttery or mushy...or all of the above. Ill never step foot in a red lobster again, their price point reflects that of a higher end restaurant but their food quality screams walmart hot case in the deli section an hour before closing.

Honestly, I feel this place has been going down hill our last couple visits. I am not one for seafood, but I usually get the chicken or there sirloin, and I've never had much complaints with them. But today was some of the worst food and service I have ever received. Our waitress seemed nice, but whenever we asked for something we never got it. She would come ask if we needed anything and then we would mention how we has asked for more biscuits and she would so "o yea, there in the oven, I will bring them right out" 15 minutes later no biscuits for us. All the while other were receiving theirs. When the food arrived it was pretty sad. My chicken was good, but my potatoes were cold and crunchy. My wife's fish was cold, and nothing that is expected of a seafood restaurant. There was also trays of dirty dishes and table scraps laying around on the stands next to other diners tables. I don't know if we will be returning to this location. I hope all others have a better experience than we had!

The restaurant was slow but all the workers were standing around playing on their phones. The food was average and the service was subpar. My fiance and I wont be going back ever. Really disapointed. We still left a tip out of principal even though i dont feel one was deserved. HORRIBLE EXSPERIANCE!!

Well I'll tell ya. I was very displeased. They sent me out two burned hamburgers .first one took forever and came out burned.second one looked liked they burned it on purpose. I didit get to eat . So I'm not so happy. Waitress said manager was sick and couldn't come see us . They took off the price of the meal but that was all . Mind you I didint eat it. Terrible.

This was the worst red lobster I've ever seen. It took 40 plus minutes for the biscuits which came out the same time as 1 of our appetizers our other appetizer the cooks waited to tell our waitress was 86ed when the appetizers were being brought to the table it took another 40 minutes to get our entrees. There was only 4 tables in the entire dinning room. I went to the car to get my 9 month old a few toys and everyone except the waitresses who were keeping busy wiping tables and railings and vacuuming was out behind the restaurant by the kitchen entrance I have pictures of this

Placed a curbside to pick up at 1:30, still sitting here with no answer 15 mins later from their pick up line, texted here to the automated message, nothing is happening. Food fixing to be cold before I even get it and apparently no one is working here at the moment. It’s a Sunday…. We’re 24 minutes into a curbside pick up line that no one is picking up. I’d have been inside by now but I have three small kids in the car, hence curbside pickup…. Hung up and dialed again…nothing but a wait line with no answer. Getting agitated now… pick up time was 30 minutes ago…kids are screaming in the back seat…. Still no food. Now hungry and mad I’d drive off but they make you pay to place the order Send help. I’m never doing this again. This is my first curbside pick up experience Update- the pasta dishes were dry and literally had NO sauce it is straight pasta and shrimp 😂 and the appetizer dip was old and gross. Also, the order was over an hour late as shown in curbside text pics. I never write review is but I have never wasted time and money like this before

Food was not good at all. I got a fish fry and it came with 2 small almost square shaped like frozen fish at the super market that was like rubber trying to eat it. My husband got one of the $49.99 lobster duo meals which did not taste very well either. I can get a fish fry at my local pub that is way bigger and fresher and tastes 100% better than here and costs less as well. Very very dissatisfied will never come here again especially after spending $100 for a meal for 2 that tasted awful

I had called on Tuesday or Wednesday to notify them of a birthday party of 13 would be here at 6p on Saturday. I waited and hour past our reservation time. Then waited an hour and a half to order our food. Then the waitress named Kayla was very snotty towards us when we asked for boxes or bags. Then said we didn’t deserve bags because we didn’t tip her well. We were at red lobster for 3 hours and 30 minutes. The sides and dishes were wrong. The main meals were room temperature not hot. And her service and attitude wasn’t great. The 13 of us will not be returning. This complaint is for horseheads red lobster.

The food must have been kept under heat lamp or in the oven till they were ready to serve it. My wife's pasta was dried out on top with not much sauce on it. There was not much cheese flavor to it. My mashed potatoes were dry also and had like a crust on them. My fish was good and so were the biscuits but that's it. It's a shame that this place has gone down hill. Not too long ago this place would have been packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon but now it has few.

To start with, my husband walks to the host stand to get us a table and is greeted with “do you need something?” When I met him at the table I was floored. Turns out it was a server in the section next to ours. Then we waited a few minutes to be greeted which was fine. A table that sat after us in the male servers section got drinks and their appetizers before we even got our drinks. We finally ordered our food, after over 30 minutes and another table that sat after us getting THEIR food we finally got our food. I was patient and figured our server was busy, then as I’m standing by the front host stand to get a plastic bag for our food I can hear what’s been going on this entire time to cause our service to be SO SLOW. The girls are huddled in the kitchen having a very loud conversation and laughing. I still tipped 20%, I always do. But I kind of wish I hadn’t? Hoping to hear something back from management or the owner if possible. We paid $200 for our meal including tip for myself, my husband and a 2 year old.

This is the saddest Red Lobster. We waited a good 8-10 minutes to be acknowledged to get a table. Multiple workers walked by and saw us multiple times. They were not busy at all. It took forever to get the saddest blandest food. We ordered the shrimp trio, Walters fried shrimp, and a Caesar side salad. We took about 4 bites total. Our waitress was nice and the bread was good. Avoid at all costs.

The décor comes across as tacky, and unless there are some serious updates, I don't see this place lasting.

The crab leg were very little. The rice was raw. The best part is my special needs child got potatoes that would break your teeth. I talked with the manager and boy was she disrespectful to me in front of my child. She did not even care that the food was aweful

35/3/24 Update: We tried to give it another try. Place had 4 customers for dinner! We got seeated and nobody came to see us, at all! Prices are through the roof! $50+ dollars for breaded crap, get real Red Lobster! We walked out, they said thanks. Thats why they are closing all over!! P.S. Went to Texas Roadhouse, great service and great food. Big complaints: We asked about one items GF status. Twenty minutes later waitress came back with a grungy 20 page list of all menu items. The wait staff should be trained to know, and not disappear for a long period and come back with no answer! And on the topic of Gluten Free, is Red Lobster serious?! Its 2022 and virtually no gluten free options. And thanks for bringing a basket of rolls to someone that's gluten free! Hello, options!? A side salad and salmon is Not a gluten free menu! Noodles please!? Maybe a white sauce without flour? Perhaps not fry everything! Is this a fresh seafood restaurant or a bar?! Probably wont be back anytime soon. And clearly ,others agree. Parking lot is quite empty lately! I dont care to spend $100+ on poor service, long wait time, poor quality food, and rediculous lack of healthy choices. Shameful that a giant chain cant adapt to this century! I would love to have a personal response from management. But won't hold my breath... 2/24/21 Update: Been a while since we had been here. Service was fast and friendly. Everyghing was clean. Our food was mostly quite good. The shrimp were cooked perfect and seemed larger than before, a much needed surprise. My wifes steak was cooked to Death unfortunatley. But it was quickly replaced with a new one cooked perfectly. Drinks were tasty, but not as good as Richards. Two things to address; Gluten Free noodles! And price, its getting Really high. All in all, pleased and will be back, soon. 7/29/19 Update: Glad to say , dinner was great! First of all, Richard makes the best margaritas maybe anywhere. My salmon was cooked perfect. And a small improvement on the GF front, the scampy is now made in-house and GF! And it tastes better to. Now for those noodles!!!! Service was great also! 3/26/19 Been a while since we came back...two bad experiences will do that, the last visit a disaster. Pleased to say that was not the case this time. Gal was SUPER friendly and attentive-great job! All the lobster and shrimp were Perfectly cooked. The star was surprisingly the grilled shrimp! I gotta try and do these at home this summer. Prices are still creeping up- $30+ a plate, and no gluten free noodles- that's a corporate thing. Need to fix both. I like where things are heading food wise, hope it stays this way! Consistency in food and prices are the main issues. Side note: get the windows cleaned asap. 9/16/18 We went for all you can eat shrimp on a Monday. Our waitress was not good, at all. First disappointment, we have had some great waitresses here. We had to wait for everything. I got the grilled salmon, because they have almost nothing that is gluten free, still! I asked that it be cooked to the rare side, it was cooked to dust! She never came and checked if it was cooked right. But I was not surprised because she didnt question the plate of brown, gross lettuce we picked out of our salad. Getting another order of all-you-can-eat shrimp was like pulling teeth. After the meal my wife asked me, in front of her, "how was your dessert?" She did not even get that it was said because she never asked if we wanted any!! Poor service, poorly cooked food, and no gf options, shamefull. Red Lobster needs to address these inconsistencies. The bartender who's name eludes me, continues to be a highlight. 9/23/17Just had the best meal I have ever had there. Good service. A bit slow, and it wasn't busy. A nice place for a casual dinner date. Just had one (3!) the best margaritas ever! Have to get bartenders name as he always makes a good one. Emily was our server. Super good job! Still can't believe that a national chain does not have any Gluten Free pasta, or breading options-it is 2017, c'mon.
