I haven't been to an Outback in a while, and this definitely renewed my interest in this restaurant chain. Their Tasmanian chili, which had no beans, contained steak pieces and was definitely worth the price. It was delicious! Their Strawberry salad was also a great entree with tons of flavor. The maple glazed porkchops was super tender and delicious. Our server was great and made sure our order got out as fast as possible considering the restaurant was packed.

Everything was amazing! food was delicious, cooked just the way we like it, and so filling. Our waitress was excellent, prompt and friendly! Would recommend!

Had to send a couple of steaks back that were undercooked. They took some $ off the bill to compensate, but we prefer that it is served correctly the first time. With all that said, I will be a return customer.

Outback Steakhouse - Horseheads, NY: A Casual Bite with a Twist We stopped by Outback Steakhouse in Horseheads, NY for a laid-back dinner and went with their 3-course menu featuring the Bloomin’ Burger, baked potato soup, and a side salad. Alongside the burger, we added the Parmesan Chicken Bites, which were served as part of the main course, not as an appetizer. The meal began with their signature honey wheat bread, warm and comforting—an Outback classic that never disappoints. The baked potato soup came next, rich and creamy, topped with cheddar, bacon, and scallions. Though the photo turned out a bit blurry, the flavors were all there—hearty and satisfying. The side salad was crisp and fresh, offering a refreshing balance to the rest of the meal. When the Bloomin’ Burger finally arrived—after about a 30-minute wait—it made a statement. Topped with crispy blooming onion petals and melted cheese, it was juicy and flavorful. It was served with a generous helping of Parmesan Chicken Bites, golden and crispy with a shower of shredded cheese and green onions (see photo). However, the chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, though others might enjoy the bold seasoning. Despite the delay, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel relaxed. If you’re in the area and craving something hearty with a bit of flair, this is a solid spot to check out. All four of us were disappointed. Ordered blooming onion and blooming shrimp for table, after 45 min both arrived cold. Waitress apologized as they were busy but we saw it sit there as she help another customer and talk to another waitress. After waiting for coffee refill for over 15 mins we cancelled dinner took cold apps home and hit McDonald's on way home, cheep but hot and got what we paid for.

Last time we were here, I got the ribeye. It was mostly fat and no flavor. This time there was 4 of us and every meal was so peppery, even the Mac and cheese was to spicy. We gave it two chances, we will never be back

Hamburgers were not cooked to our order. My Prime Rib was not cooked to my order. But, the Manager and waitress were great and took care of us we will be back.

Update* The staff is still very good. The food was excellent this time around. Burger was juicy and cooked to petfectuon. Everything was hot and delicious. The new Mozzarella appetizer is excellent! All of the staff, including the manager were very nice. The food however, wasn't great. The best thing was the bloomin onion and the free bread they give you. The chicken sandwich wasn't good. He didn't like his burger at all. We would return but only for the onion.

Came to have dinner and I have ordered the French onion soup and Steakhouse Quesadilla as my entrees. My server Miranda was sweet but wasn’t attentive. Took her awhile to come back. But I did approach her when my meal wasn’t appealing nor appetizing. Tonight around 7:30pm, it was slow and not so crowded. The French onion soup came out before the Steakhouse Quesadilla. It was very tasty and cheesy. Cooked to perfection. Once the steakhouse quesadilla arrived, the presentation was awful and it wasn’t appetizing. It definitely didn’t look like what it was as advertised. It did not have any cilantro, green onions, chipotle spread. It only had prime rib steak and Monterey Jack cheese. I told my server I was very unhappy. She offered me something else to replace it. Within minutes later her manager came and apologized for the inconvenience. She promptly will speak to her staff on how the meals are properly prepped. I’m a big foodie. Presentation and quality meals are important to me. You are paying for what you order. People will expect it to be tasty as it looks. Outback needs to re-train their staff on how to plate and cook their meals properly.

Prices were way to expensive. The bar was dirty. The bartender was tentative, however, $30 for 2 glasses of wine was excessive and beer for $7.50 a bottle was ridiculous! Food was ok. We won't be going back. Other businesses in the area are not that expensive.

After going to outback for the last 7 years on New Year's eve. We have been never been more disappointed than we were on 12 31 2025 with the quality of our filet steaks . Sent back 3 of 4 steaks not properly cooked. 2 were sent back correctly cooked. 1 was still not cooked to order. The steaks were all very chewing. Our meal was so bad and ruined our whole experience with your restaurant. Your prices were higher than last year and your quality of filet was so much worse than a year earlier. We will not be spending our money on your product next year or anytime in the future. You are your own worse enemy with the quality of meat you buy.

Plastic in the chowder, was told it would be taken off the bill by waitress/bar tender, that was the first thing, and If you are staying at the hotel next door, the candlewood suites, you're supposed to get a discount, they didn't follow through, charged full price for the chowder and the meal in general. Awful experience, I will never go back. And recommend no one does.

Worst experience I've had at outback in three decades. My filet was bad. The inside of it separated from the outside and was mushy and smelled rancid. The waitress kept telling me "We just changed steaks and it is a filet you know". Tried to explain that I always eat filet and while they are tender, it should never be mushy and smell rancid. She got an attitude, started to raise her voice and walked away. They did remove it from the bill, but that was not the way to handle it. Will never eat there again.

Went last night. Salad was frozen, both soups were cold, then I cut into my steak I ordered medium rare it came out blue and rare so i returned it, then the steak came back out still blue so sent it back again, then finally after about 30 mins later got one that was cooked right and was covered in salt! Told the waitress and she said you aren’t the first one to complain and then walked away LOL I feel like I should of gotten money off or something totally unacceptable

We were here to celebrate a birthday. 10/31/2025.However, we decided to leave, due to being served cold coffee. The server not once apologized, just stated she could make a new pot it'd take a second. My dad, stated no, I think we will just leave. The hostess, overheard stated are you serious and ran to the back. What your server and hostess, didn't know, is my dad just lost the love his life of 45 years. So, my dad's emotions are high. And he was ready to cry. Cause his coffee was cold. And as much as it cost to eat here, getting a hot cup of coffee on a cold blisters day. Shouldn't be a problem. Nor how your staff reacted to his upset. You never know what someone is going through. Always be kind. And never react in front of a guest. It's just rude.

Just left this restaurant. I did not like the service. The waitress brought dish after dish and did not even try to move the plates and put them away. When dessert was brought to us, we asked for empty plates to be removed from the table, but our request was never honored. The waiter just disappeared. In addition to the bill, we were charged money for games on the tablet, which our small children opened, believing that it was a complimentary service from the restaurant.
