Hands down the best Golden Corral Buffet we've been to across the United States!! We travel full time and miss the home style meals so we definitely enjoy a Golden Corral once in awhile. This particular location was outstanding! The food was all hot and fresh and full, we never saw an empty spot in any of the stations. The vegetables on the salad bar were being filled nearly constantly and the desserts were all nice and freshly put out, nothing seemed old or stale. The hot food stations were all being stocked constantly and workers were steadily monitoring temps and freshness. Even the onion rings were crispy and hot!! I took a couple pictures but it's hard to get a pretty plate at a buffet! Our server was also very attentive, clearing our plates as soon as we pushed them to the edge and filling our waters regularly. This location can definitely be a role model for all other Golden Corrals!

This restaurant would likely due better if they offered a little less food selections, while at the same time focusing on increasing food quality. Making sure all food is cooked perfectly, and that all hot food is served hot. That that the deserts are of excellent quality in their preparation and their presentment.

Golden Corral offers a large variety of food, which makes it easy to find something you’ll enjoy. Some of the meats were a bit dry, but still very good overall. The vegetables could use a bit more seasoning, and I found that making your own salad was much more flavorful. My absolute favorites were the fried chicken, pot roast, and ribs — especially the fried chicken, which was crispy, juicy, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The desserts were amazing. I tried the chocolate fudge, chocolate brownies, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge — pure chocolate heaven and so, so good. That said, it does feel a bit pricey considering that only a few of the food options really stood out for me.

The service and food were both very good, our server was very attentive. What fell short, in my opinion, was the prices for senior meals, and the higher than normal price for drinks. Having said that, the placed was packed, and on a "nothing special " night. Still, we'll go back. Maybe change our drink selection next time.

Very disappointed it used be sooo good. Its been 10 years since I had been there. They had very little meat to chose from, and was not very hot. Will try again when back in town. The staff was excellent.

Pork chop stew very well cooked enchiladas with all the fixings and Taco's make them your self very tasty An fried fish but There was not enough it take time to restock after some go and take all they can eat. But I don't blame them. The food are very good.

Waitress kept checking on us. Plenty of good food. Didn't leave enough room for desert. I missed the days of a Veteran's discount though.

The food was good. Not exceptional just good. Some things were dried out (churros and mashed potatoes) and others were perfect (fried chicken) They had an amazing mix of deserts. The service was amazing! From the lady who checked us in to our waitress, they staff was among the friendliest I have encountered. Even when my son spilled the water....no worries they were willing to help without getting annoyed. The entry and exit doors need some cleaning as they were full of greasy fingerprints. Use the hotel restroom at "Aloft" before using golden Corrals.

This place was very good, very packed. But our waiter was outstanding and we want to come back period very full of so many customer's. But definitely food or fresh, everything was tasty. Reckon come before after dinner a little bit crowded, but definitely worth it. If you're hangry, come on down and get you some good old vittles partner !

Dined in with the wife. Paid around $43 for the two of us! The buffet food was good. However, I have two complaints. The menudo that they were serving, didn't taste very authentic and the pork inside was quite chewy. The wife got a Salisbury steak, and so did I. My Salisbury steak was raw in the center. I tried their pork ribs and they tasted a tad bit on the dry side. The popcorn shrimp, and the butterfly shrimp were both delicious! Just wished that they served tartar sauce or cocktail sauce somewhere in the seafood buffet. The fries were hot and crispy. The salad was stellar! However, what held it back a half a point, was the fact that one of my croutons was tough and inedible. The server was kind and fast! Dessert was delicious! However, the chocolate pudding tasted a little off... Would recommend this buffet to anyone who is in the Corpus Christi area!

I just ate here with my daughter for a late lunch. They had plenty of options to choose from. The waitress was nice and was good to us. The restaurant appeared to be clean. The food all tasted good as well as our sweet teas. The peach cobbler was amazing! It cost $23 for both of us. The only complaint I have is that some of the food was cold when I sat down to eat.

The Food is ok. Kind of reminds me of cafeteria food. Fish was dry not flaky the burgers were just a dinner roll cut in half and a good size meatball in it. The staff was friendly but they were also loud enough that you can hear their personal conversations. The cleanliness was okay.
