We had breakfast everyday we stayed in Crescent City…food is fresh and delicious. Service was great. Tons of vegetarian options
Unfortunately, it was too dark to really see the view, but the portion sizes here are insane, and the staff is absolutely on it. My number one choice for fried seafood of any kind in the area, and worth every penny. Every place we went, the friendliness stood out, and this place was one of the friendliest. I ate my fill of a delicious seafood combo platter, and still had another meal left over!
We both had a lovely dinner. The 2 staff that waited on us were very kind and happy to explain menu items. Unfortunately, they were out of full and half crabs by 630! But we ordered the chicken, mushroom, artichoke pasta (it was everything I wanted and a huge portion), fried scallop entree (6 delicious, buttery ones), fried oysters (they were huge and perfectly cooked), a cup of clam chowder (great flavor, but lacking in clams and super heavy on the butter) a salad (also large and different kinds of greens in there). We returned to our hotel with 2 leftover meals feeling very full and happy for about $85.
We were greeted warmly by our server and seated in a nice quiet spot near the back. The space was clean and had a beautiful array of First Nations art with a few placards explaining about it. Service was swift and appropriately timed, with the right amount of check-ins without feeling hovered over. Coffee was hot and food portions were ample. The scramble (Santa Fe I think?) was tasty. They had the option of corn tortillas and gf toast. Which was nice for me as a gf person, considering many (breakfast) restaurants have neither! My husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs. We’d definitely stop in again.
Amazing breakfast!! Super cute and cozy interior, felt right at home. The staff is rly nice and their house breakfast potatoes are SO good, love the seasoning! Would also recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich. Would go back for sure!
Anyone giving this less than 4 stars may be too high strung? I regret not taking pics of the food! It was delicious, big proportions & well done. Tasted amazing. The fresh juices were FRESH & our main course was perfectly cooked:) Our hostess checked on all tables regularly. It took me a minute to notice thay my order was missing an advertised side, it was promptly brought out with zero fuss & would have been still good without.
The food here is great! I had a cup of clam chowder the first time just to see how salty it was, as most of them, but it was about the best I have had! I had a bowl of it the same weekend, the fish is also very good, everything was fresh. The place is really cool, great service and atmosphere. I do recommend good harvest, we will be back!😃👍
Good Harvest Cafe came highly recommended and I see why! Great food and great people. Shoutout to Heather for the recommendations and conversation. I ordered the crispy fish sandwich on a pub bun and it was delicious. They are known for their breakfast and the menu looked great. Don’t have time on this trip to come back to try but know I need to! Thanks Good Harvest Cafe
Having visited Crescent City a couple of times in the last few months. I wanted to explore local dining. I decided on a quaint diner with a country feel - Good Harvest Cafe. I started my meal with a cup of hot clam chowder. It had a flavorful blend of creaminess, clam meat, and potato chunks. My main course was breaded chicken breast on a bed of rice with a mix of lightly seasoned vegetables. The chicken was moist, tender, and tasty. I topped off my meal with their Mocha Float, which was so good. I would definitely come here again.
I'm not a big sea food guy. I've never had good calamari. My wife ordered the calamari burger, and convinced me to taste it...it was amazing. It wasn't chewy, and it had an after taste that was even better. I'd be willing to try other sea food options there. I had the New York Burger and pasta salad. The burger was perfect and juicy. I almost added ketchup because that's how I eat burgers, but I didn't, and I'm glad. It was perfection. Jake was an amazing and attentive server. He explained stuff to us, engaged in conversation, answered questions. Probably one of the best servers I've had in a long time. Some of the prices were pretty steep, but after tasting the less expensive options, I can imagine it's all worth it.

Nice dining experience, good lunch break across from beach/harbor. Good food, decent portions. Upper bar and dining open at four pm. Beautifully decorated. Espresso and desserts available. Wasn't terribly busy but we were there 2pm so I imagine we were there during the lull. Looks like it gets real busy in the evening.
The restaurant name suggested it would provide home style cooking and atmosphere. Just what we wanted ! Sure enough, there were many local people visiting with others. The servers were super attentive and quick to provide help with the extensive menu. The evening special was halibut with a Parmesan crust and all the sides. The portion was huge - really !! And fresh. It was delicious. As a sport fisherman, (I’m really fussy about fish). The price was a big value. The server (Heather) made sure we had everything we needed and even suggested additional items. I would heartily recommend this restaurant. Nice going Harvest!
The restaurant itself was a bit dated and the restroom needed some help. Other than that, there were no issues. There is also have a coffee bar in the restaurant. We got the bowl of clam chowder and the seafood sampler plate to go. The clam chowder was delicious but it was probably only about 8-10 ounces. For $10, I felt like there could have been more. The sampler plate was good. All items were hot and crisp. I was pleasantly surprised that none of the items were chewy. There was one of each, oyster, scallop, and prawn along with calamari strips and fish The tartar sauce, I felt, had a bit too much relish. The cocktail sauce was spot on. I felt like the price was decent for the portion. I regret not getting better pictures. I forgot as we quickly got to eating.
The server: Shaunna, was a gem. She was attentive, gave good suggestions and kept our drinks full. The ambiance is rustic leaning toward Native American.

Nothing fancy here, but a wide variety of breakfast items. The space is a little dated but the service was prompt even with a fairly full dining room.

I normally don't leave bad reviews, but with the cost of dinning out, I thought it was important to share our experience. We stopped in at 730 on a Friday evening, and they were not busy. Our order consisted of fish and chips, clam chowder, dinner salads and Giant Prawns. The salad was limp as if it had been sitting in a refrigerator for much of the day. The remainder of our order was tasteless. The chower was the saving grace as it had a nice creamy texture. But, the biggest disappointment was that they brought our entire meal out at the same time. The chowder was lukewarm and had to be sent back for reheating. Overall a disappointing meal.
I would say my experience was mediocre, the pancakes were pretty good but the eggs were very watery and the biscuits were pasty. Do not get iced tea, it was 5% tea 95% water. The service was honestly not very good. I didn’t care for how the waiter grabbed a handful of silverware and then put it in a crumbly napkin and slopped it on the table. It seemed like they didn’t want to serve you. Atmosphere was… unique I guess. Overall I’d say it’s a cool spot to check out but I myself would not go back

Over all it was alright. The server was kinda snobby, she was a teen I think. The food was sub par. Like, it checks the box but it does not actually taste good. ambiance was actually really cute!!

We are upstairs on a Tuesday night. Food and service were meh. Clam chowder was good. Broiled halibut and fish tacos were not worth going back again. There are better places to eat in the area.
I was really disappointed in this place. I took my grandkids for breakfast and one needed to use the restroom. I tried to lock the stall and it got stuck and when I tried to push it in it sliced the top of my finger off. I notified the server when I returned to my table. She got someone to go and fix it. I got a half ass sorry. They did tell me they fixed it and brought me a bandaid however I felt like they treated me like it was my fault. They didn't offer to compensate nor did they take my meal off my bill. This type of customer service is what is lacking these days in the service industry in my opinion. When someone injures themselves in your establishmemt and it wasn't of their own fault you should ALWAYS compensate so they will have a reason to return. I will not go back to this restaurant again.
I was looking for late breakfast but they stop breakfast and switch to lunch around 1115 (an odd time to change over). The food looked like it would be good considering their claims of being fresh and healthy, but I decided to go somewhere else because it wasn’t very cozy…it had more of an outdated diner feel. The service staff was friendly and seated me promptly so no problems there. I came back later specifically to get a smoothie which I thought would also be very good. Banana, apple juice, and yogurt is the basic, and I added mixed berries as the flavor. Turns out they charge extra for that and it was one of the worst “smoothies” I’ve ever had at $12, very disappointing. I couldn’t believe they charged that much for a medium sized smoothie that tasted like it had half a banana, a spoonful of yogurt, and frozen berries, and a bunch of ice. I make a much better smoothie at home for 1/4 the price. Maybe the food is really good, they’ve been around for a while. But IMO they should do breakfast through 2pm or later (how hard is it to keep offering breakfast, really?) and don’t be fooled by the tempting smoothie menu…it’s not worth it.

This place was not good from the start. When we were seated they simply dropped all of the silverware and 4 napkins at our table for us to set up ourselves. Our waitress was nice, but she didn’t seem very experienced with the menu and it was just an awkward experience. The burgers we got were super bland and dry, and one of the burgers that included avocado had almost an entire avocado slapped on there, had to cut it up myself. They only had one type of creamer, it seemed like milk. No flavored creamers or anything. Coffee came out in the smallest little mug only half full. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere of the place was nice, but for the price of the food and the experience, it was not worth it at all. The only thing I can say was good was the soup my friend got. Burgers were terrible and my sandwich was very mid. Smoothies were NOT worth it for $8. I definitely would not come here again.
