First time here, everything tasted good! Asked for recommendations and they recommended a lot, and even offered a sample of some of the sides. Food came out fast as well. Get the brisket grilled cheese!
I ordered delivery and the food was magnificent! The spicy bbq chicken wings fell right off the bone. And the brisket was delicious!! The BEANS!!!!!!! So good! Dare I say the best BBQ I’ve had to date.
Amazing service from John! Hadn't been to a Cousin's in years and he made it absolutely worth the trip. Conveniently located, plenty of parking, good prices for bbq, and excellent brisket/street corn/cowboy beans. Thanks again, John!
Love coming here to feed myself and my family. They have great deals throughout the weekdays and are always super nice when I come in. Give this place a shot if you’re in the Crowley or Burleson area or if you’re visiting! Thank you to Adryan and her team!
Love the BOGO. The loaded baker with brisket was good. The tea was good, too. I like to mix sweet with unsweetened and it hit the spot. It wasn't too busy or too loud during lunch.
I started coming to Cousins for the Thursday night car shows, and it's been a great vibe. The last couple of times, I decided to grab some food—and the wing basket did not disappoint! The wings and fries were excellent, and the price is hard to beat. One thing I really hope Cousins brings back is the Tuesday tacos with the in-house salsa. They were seriously delicious and something I looked forward to every week!
This is my Honest Review. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I have had a chance to eat at all 3 locations (haven’t had the 4th location which is at the DFW airport) and this Crowley location I think personally this is the best location which DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! The service is on point, Carlos and his team is very professional, nice and they don’t treat you like a number. The food is very good, I recommend their “Carnivore Plate” it’s new.(that’s what I got in picture.) you can get 3 meats. I usually just get 2/3 “Moist Brisket and 1/3 chicken. If you like mustard their “Texas Mustard” is amazing and spicy but not to much. The atmosphere is really amazing, very laid back. Very comfortable. 11:30-12:30pm seems to be their busiest times for lunch. Either come at 11am or after 1 pm. I recommend anyone that Loves Barbecue come here. Great experience over all!
Being Texan born and raised, I'm always down for some great BBQ. I was across the street headed into a gym when the that lovely smoked meat aroma hit me. I almost decided to put off the gym time because it smelled so good but no, I continued on. However as soon as I got finished and cleaned up, B-lined it. I've never had Cousins before so want sure what to expect. I ordered the three meat plate with ribs, brisket, and chicken. Coleslaw and collard greens for the sides. They had an incredible looking chocolate chip cookie that I got for later. The sides were delicious on their own and once I got to the proteins, my little heart was fluttering with happiness. Perfect crust, smoke ring, and tenderness on all three meats. Great BBQ!!
This is a super solid BBQ option. I particularly recommend this over the larger chain BBQ restaurants. The atmosphere was great! It felt really put together. They had a lot of options on the menu and it didn't seem as expensive as other places. It's definitely a grab a beer, sit down and hang out kind of place. We also really enjoyed the sides. It's not the best BBQ I've ever had but it was extremely solid. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. I could see my family going there multiple times and be our go to for BBQ, which is saying a lot. If I don't really like a place, I won't go back. I'll save those restaurant $ to try something new that I may enjoy more. They have earned our business for sure and they are worth checking out!
Drove from Little Elm in the at the suggestion of two friends. Didn't disappoint! Food was fresh, delicious and hot. We had family in town from the east coast and wanted good bbq. The staff even brought over complimentary wings (that were amazing!) and a cookie as a show of appreciation for coming out. The atmosphere was clean and had a nice vibe. Will absolutely return!
First time visiting Cousins, anyways the food was good just really disappointed about get 2 slices for brisket on a 16 dollar plate with a little bit of fries. Fries did come out hot. I would probably have giving it all 5 stars otherwise.
This was my second visit here and both trips (about 4 months apart) came to be the same so here is my review. Food wasn't bad pulled pork was dry brisket too even with their Bbq sauce. A bit pricey compared to others although if the food was better it would be worth it. The portions are good through out and as in my first visit it wasn't overly busy. Tables were not cleaned off entire time there it was as if it were a choice to keep the place clean. Staff was friendly but never checked on their customers.
Well....first let me say this is NOT my usual experience here. Let me also say we have all been snowed in for 3 days so when it was clear, I smelled BBQ when I went to Kroger. I was a little concerned but hopeful. I did the drive thru. I ordered a half pound of brisket and half pound of ribs and pinto beans. 2:44pm. Drove home. Sorry Cousins. This one was a "No hitter". The brisket was dry - definitely not done today. Ribs either. And the beans were hard - either not done or reconstituted. I was definitely disappointed. I live here. This is one of mt favorite places to eat. Guess I'll wait a week or two.
We have been coming to this location for years. Sadly, each time we visit the food is worse. Our last visit the ribs were hard and dry the moist brisket was dry. Today I opted for the frito pie. The meat was cold and they didn’t even put the beans on it. My husband gave the ribs a try again and it was the same. The fries were dripping with grease and so salty we couldn’t eat them. We won’t be back. Such a bummer.
It's definitely hit or miss coming here. My last visit was rather unpleasant. I had the same dry brisket as other customers experienced.
Went on a Tuesday for lunch. Disappointing at best. They only get points for having Coke and not Pepsi. At the register, we ordered a "meat baker" and sone other things. We were just about to pay when I noticed a small sign that said daily specials. Tuesday is BOGO on a "meat baker." The gentleman running the register was not going to mention this so, when I asked he acted like it was no big deal. Um, yea about a $15 dollar deal. The food was cold except for the fries which were warm-ish. My advice? Go next door to Chen's Wok. That place is 10/10!
My finance and I went in last night at around 7. After ordering we could only sit at one a few tables as almost every table was covered in trash from previous customers. They were never cleaned up in our time there. Then there was someone who wasn't an employee enter the kitchen and even open the refrigerator and grabbed something out. My pulled pork sandwich was delicious, and the mac and cheese was solid. My fiance's chicken sandwich was pretty dry and bland. Not worth the cost. We had been here once before with a great experience and better food, just upsetting that we probably won't return.
First off I haven’t been to this place in five years, use to be Amazing and loved going there. Today I ordered a sliced beef sandwich with 50-50 top and bottom cut. I didn’t get that. I got only lean meat which I didnt like. the macaroni and cheese was all right and I did have to add salt and pepper. I’ll be honest craft mac & cheese is the same. The guy at the register wasn’t friendly and kind of looked Annoyed that I didn’t know the menu as it’s changed. He looked like a manager, but I’m not sure. The brisket was pretty good, but I would suggest going to Spring Creek in Burleson or any other barbecue establishment. And when you get barbecue sauce, it’s ice cold like they keep it in the fridge not real appealing on hot meat makes it cold fast. Maybe you could acquaint the sad experience to eight minutes after they open, but why open if you’re not ready? After all that $16 for a sandwich and macaroni are not worth it.
If I could give zero stars I would!!! I ordered a three meat plate with sausage brisket and ribs and a chicken sandwich. When I received my order it was wrong instead of brisket they gave me chopped beef, the ribs was nothing but bone and dry rub seasoning no meat on it at all smh!!! The chicken sandwich was the size of a double cheeseburger at McDonald’s costing $12 is crazy! This was my very first time at the restaurant and I was very disappointed I took the food back immediately and got a refund.
Ordered a baked potato out of potatoes gave me French fries instead with all the toppings for a baked potato HORRIBLE. Bought the rib plate for my granddaughter. It came with cold Mac and cheese 2 ribs. Will not go back. Almost 30 dollars horrible
I’ve tried and tried give Cousins in Crowley a chance. Today is the last day. I went through the drive-through on the Fourth of July. I selected a two meat plate, ribs and sausage. I asked for potato salad and beans, but they were out of potato salad as usual. I got cowboy beans and street corn. Let me start with the ribs. The ribs were tough, undercooked the sausage it appears that they try to defrost the sausage and then slice it. It is still cold and raw the street corn taste as if it had perfume in it as if someone wasted some perfume in the corn. I was truly disappointed and thought I would give them a chance on 4 July a barbecue holiday. Never again!
