2021 edit... opens at 6am daily. Friendly regulars. Clean restroom. Monday, Tuesday, days are the best! Ask for Sarah. ;) But seriously, all the bartenders are great. It is a solid dive bar with 2 well maintained pool tables. Karaoke, T, Th, F, S around 9pm. All Sports on TV. Euro Soccer 2021 ⚽️ June 11th till July 11th. Doesn't serve food but let's you bring it in or have it delivered.

My wife and we’ve been coming here for several years and never disappoint we love all our bartenders Lizzy,Pam, Christina etc etc, trust me great vibe even for people like us close to our 60’s.and is really easy to make friends specially on karaoke nights with Leigh and Courtney. Doesn’t natter if you go mornings, afternoons or nights it’s a fun place to be. Proudly i’m one of the customers who signed the jersey from Pamela’s dad when he passed away. Great memories❤️❤️❤️😘

Ive been coming to this place for over a decade. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced. Couple that with great vibes and some awesome karaoke makes the night fun filled.

This is a great place. The crowd is mixed and very friendly. This is a serious pool players bar. They have karaoke 5 times a week, T-TH-FRI-SAT-SUN, run by the amazing Leigh. The drinks are hand poured, which I like. Great people, great atmosphere. And they have security to make sure it stays that way.

This bar has been around for a while. At one point it was a competitor of a well known local dive bar the Tattle Tail in the same strip mall, which has since gone out of business. I don't drink and it's still a good spot to watch a variety of sports games.

The memories of this place are awesome. I just had to go one more time to visit with a friend. I just had a pomegranate juice. Didn't stay very long, because I quit drinking alcohol four years ago. Yay!

(3.5 stars, deservedly rounded up to 4) Quite a decent watering hole, has a very "local" feel to it. The bartenders are all fantastic... very welcoming and personable with heavy hands. Drinks are very reasonably priced which is indeed a gem for Culver City. Not gimmicky here at all... they've got pool tables, tons of TVs for sports, dart boards, a nice stage for Karaoke which is a lot of fun, typical Sports Bar fare. They do have events like a Burlesque show on the 3rd Tuesday of the month IIRC; never been there for one of those though so I can't speak on it. Downsides are that there's no "food program" but there are a few restaurants very close by (namely Tomy's next door if you're there in the afternoon which is cash-only but there is an ATM in the bar) a great Gyro place right around the corner and Jack in the Crack is right across the street. Also, keep in mind that this is almost exclusively an older crowd so if you're expecting a younger/mixed aged clientele like "The Backstage" you'll probably be let down. The establishment itself could perhaps use a light remodel/deep clean but it's definitely not to the point the health department needs to be called. Overall, a perfect local non-touristy spot with no-frills, no-gimmicks, kind interesting folks that make for great conversations and inexpensive drinks. I don't like drinking all that much so I'm not there very often but it's perfect for what it is meant for and to me that's what counts at the end of the day.

Lizzzard ( yes 3 z's ) is an excellent bartender. The atmosphere is karaoke dive bar, but it's also pretty laid back.

This is the quintessential dive bar it’s very clean. The lady behind the bar was nice helpful went over and above and beyond to help but it was definitely a dive bar and I mean that in the best sense very small quirky kind of Cheers bar. Where everyone knows your name we went there to play pool and there was only two pool tables and you had to put your name on the board and a few people would just jump in the line. You could tell they go literally every night and play they have their own pool sticks and equipment and take it all a little too serous but they are harmless. Downside wasn’t able to play against the ppl I came with, they wouldn’t allow it the locals control the game. The drinks were good though
