The Brown Sugar Oat Latte is always my go too when visitng. not too sweet, not too bitter. If you do like more bitter coffee then go for the Sea Salt Coffee, one of my favs. I usually get coffee along with the Milk Pudding Bread, Bacon and Cheese, or Cheese Dog. I love that the bread is light and fluffy with a perfect soft crunch!

This is the Din Tai Fong of coffee and pastry shop. Good and consistent quality of food and drinks. Service is also top notch. E.g. I forgot to pick up my take out order of coffee and small breads but the next day they still honored my order with newly made coffees and breads. Thanks 85c at Cupertino Main!

Their brioche and taro buns are delicious, and the sea salt iced coffee is the perfect balance of creamy and bold. The store is clean and organized, and staff are helpful even when it gets busy. Solid joint for quick tasty treats, creamy coffee and teas. Sweet tooth’s beware, it’s easy to fill your tray with goodness. I like this place because the people are nice and the savory options are bomb too. The signature 85c coffee is tasty if you’re in the mood for sweet n creamy.

Came in on a weekend morning and was rewarded with no lines and a fresh selection of sweet and savory pastries. My favorite has always been the chocolate bun, but everything else is excellent too, depending on what you are craving. Mango panna cotta, taro buns, cheese Danish... Really yummy for any occasion.

This is one of my favorite evening hangout place. Everything here is absolutely delicious. Brioche, mushroom cheese bread, egg tart etc are my favorite. Prices are great and the quality will meet your expectation for sure. Finding Parking can be tricky. But drive around, you will find it in a bit.I recommended this place to everyone.

The bread is always delicious and fluffy, which is something I cannot say for many other bakeries. I enjoy all of their sweets; I've also ordered their cake numerous times and was not disappointed. Overall, it's a very nice place for a quick snack or a meal of fragrant bread. It much less crowded than the other 85C bakery in San Jose. Here you can talk without screaming and enjoy your food without feeling hurried or cramped.

This coffee shop was spacious, fast, and very clean, making it a comfortable place to relax or grab a quick drink. The coffee was delicious, especially since they grind the beans right in front of you, which really brings out the fresh flavors. There’s also a wide variety of toppings and add-ons, so you can customize your drink exactly how you like it. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys high-quality coffee in a bright and welcoming environment.

Nice coffee shop that does pour over coffee for all of their coffees. I couldn’t see the brewer they use but it was a flat bottom paper filter into a metal canister looking thing. They grind the beans fresh. The choice of beans is fairly limited to various house blends with more options towards the medium to dark roast. They have a dark roast decaf blend as well. Their lightest roast is the “New Manhattan” which was brewed to a coffee with a sweeter, medium body profile. I added a little water which helped the red fruit flavors become more discernible. The cafe space itself is nice—high ceilings, lots of windows for light, seating space both inside and outside. The barista was also friendly and helpful.

Great place to take the family or hang out with some friends for a snack and hot tea or coffee. I was kinda annoyed how when our coffee was ready they never called us. It was just sitting there the whole time we were sitting outside waiting for it. Other than that they have delicious pastries that are baked fresh. [Update] added an extra star this time for the friendly staff. Also when I ordered the fresh strawberry milk tea they were nice enough to give the extra milk tea left in the blender.

Can’t beat the coffee and I’m a long long time fan of Philz. However, the service and the overall atmosphere is abysmal. Understaffed on the service. Can’t even clean up outside from the day before. Ugh!! The owners seem to be milking the brand for all they can get. 🙄

The wait was a little long on a Sunday morning. I got an iced rose latte, light sweetness and light creaminess. I thought those were perfect, but was thrown off a little by the taste — I think it was spiced? Didn’t really taste a particular rose flavor. It was an okay drink overall but it was totally not what I was expecting. I’d probably want to come back and try some other items to see what is my speed and what is not.

It takes 10-15 minutes to get coffee here. Taking laid-back too seriously . My 3 experiences are pretty consistent with this time range( all in the afternoon/late afternoon) . I could see variety of work commitments in the people working there. The one with 'work kills' t shirt truly believed in it

Decent bakery. I tried this franchise on recommendation, but it wasn’t for me. Lots of pastries, but I’m not really a fan of sweet bread. I prefer salted bread but they don’t sell it here. I ended up buying 1 taro bun and 1 box of cheese bites. Too sweet for me! I also order sea salt coffee, which seems to be this brand’s signature. Nope, this is not my coffee. The staff was friendly and humorous. The store was clean and organized, 1 side for bread and the other side for payment and coffee ordering.

After eating a big meal I decided to stop in and get a little dessert. As I walk in I was very surprised to see how much product and variety they still had on their shelves. (being that it was around 6pm) They sell baked goods, pastries, cakes, coffee, tea and more. I opted for a slice of their mango cream Brulé cake, it was a lite and airy creamy goodness with lite flavors, perfect for An after dinner dessert or anytime with a cup of coffee..

I asked for light ice, but the cup was almost completely filled with ice. It honestly felt a bit like a scam. I was surprised by how little tea was actually inside.

I’ve been a loyal Philz customer for many years. This spot at Main St. has been our go to place after a morning jog during weekends. We love their coffee, love the vivid and friendly ambiance. But the service has been going down-spiral. And this morning, I ordered a coffee at Philz, but it never seemed to be ready. I went to check twice and didn’t see my order. The two baristas were chatting the whole time and making drinks very slowly. The third time I asked another staff member, one of the girls pointed to a cup on the side and said, “That’s yours.” I asked why the cup didn’t have a label, since they normally do, and she said she had already called my name. Honestly, in a busy store split into two sides, just shouting a name once and calling it done doesn’t really work. Plus, since we had already come by twice looking for our drinks, she could have simply asked for our names to confirm. From start to finish, there was no sense that they cared to do their job a little better. I am so disappointed and sad to see this at Philz.

Green milk tea is not that good, looks white green tea and it is less green tea flavor

I’m not exactly sure why so many people love this coffee and think it is so delicious. The beans themselves are pretty poor quality and the only way the drinks will likely taste great is adding a ton of heavy cream and sugar, which will make pretty much any coffee taste decent. I even bought whole beans to see if I could brew a black cup of coffee better myself, and it came out tasting the same as I also used a pour over method. I would not recommend buying this coffee and it is only drinkable if you add a lot of cream and sugar, which is not how I drink my coffee.

They don't wear hairnets, hats, or gloves. Never seen anybody wash their hands. DISGUSTING. Overpriced coffee, quality was mid, also didn't even taste good for the price. Do NOT go here, there are better options around here, I promise. Overall, very disappointed with Cupertino and Philz coffee, do better.

Great coffee doesn’t excuse poor customer service. The coffee itself might be good, but the experience was frustrating. Their menu is unnecessarily complicated, and when I asked for simple help understanding what to order, the staff member launched into long, pretentious explanations about tasting notes and wine like descriptions instead of just giving a straightforward recommendation. As a tourist, I was hoping for friendly guidance, not a lecture that made things more confusing. Good service means adapting to the customer , not expecting them to decode an overcomplicated menu using imagination.

Came in on a Sunday morning and ordered two iced coffees and some pastries. The ordering screen in the store was out of order, which made the whole process confusing and rushed. The drinks were okay, but the pastries were completely lacking in flavor. So disappointing. Unfortunately, the customer service was even worse. The staff were extremely rude and seemed visibly annoyed to be there. When I asked for sleeves for my iced drinks, I was told they didn’t have any, even though I could clearly see them behind the counter. After pointing this out, I was told they were only for hot drinks. When I asked again, I was finally given one, but with a heavy sigh and an eye roll. The attitude was shocking and completely unprofessional. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend.

Rent Home

Ordered Milk tea and taro smoothie, both with boba. However, missing boba in taro smoothie. We like this shopping center, I suggest this place to put out more sitting outside of the bakery shop. There was only one table outside of the bakery shop and was hard to find a place to sit. Hope to see some improvement on my next visit.
