Traditional Taiwanese restaurant in an unassuming venue, serving up a lot of delicious classic dishes. Fast and efficient service, but some of the sizzling platter dishes seem to use the same sauce with different proteins. Small parking lot, so need to look for some street parking.

Pretty decent Taiwanese food cooked with enough heat for the real wok flavor. Service was prompt too. Pricing a bit higher than the other similar Taiwanese restaurants around Cupertino area. Overall can recommend.

Hard to find amazing Taiwanese restaurants in the area but this place is one of the best! Service is better if you can speak Mandarin. Highly recommend the Lu Rou Fan and the beef+eggplant dish.

Grounded Pork Rice Bowl is awesome! Crispy shrimp with Pineapple is also good. Moon shape shrimp cake is so so, may tastes better with sweet&sour sauce. The service is good and serving speed is fast. FYI, we arrived at 5 pm in the afternoon and there is no line. After we finished at around 5:40, there is still no line.

Pretty good place! Very friendly host and service - even though we had a language barrier. Food is pretty good, some more successful than others. Definitely recommend the Claypot chicken. Portion is kinda small, so if you are hungry def order more. Mango dessert also pretty great! Will be headed back again! Red Hot Wok is a no-frills, consistently busy spot with generally easy seating. We ordered several containers of hot & sour soup, which is a personal favorite. While not the most authentic version, it was hearty and enjoyable with a few ingredient tweaks. The beef fried rice with satay sauce was overly oily and had an overpowering “wok” taste. The beef fried noodles with kang kung lacked seasoning and fell flat in flavor. There’s potential here, especially for casual bites—but a few key improvements could really elevate the experience.

Primarily takeout with a modest amount of seating for dine-in. Food is full flavored (best over rice). The Sha Cha Beef did not have very high quality beef, which detracted. Three Cup Tofu was on point - I enjoyed the sweetish sauce and heavy tarragon flavors, though as I recall, the classic three-cup doesn't taste that sweet (still, it was a good dish, especially over rice). The winner in our 3-course takeout was the fried shrimp pie (these classically are made into balls), which was just right and very good as an appetizer. Overall, prices are too high for the quality. Service was good, place was very dingy. They give 5% discount for cash.

Generally speaking, the food here is tasty. We love Sizzling tofu and Three cups Chicken with its original flavor. I guess “Three cups” foods and “Shacha” foods are their specialty foods. But it’s a little bit hard for us to adapt to other sweat foods like fried noodles and stir-fry clams and intestines. The service is good and fast, you don’t need to wait for a long time.

Absolutely Disgusting. Stay Away. I honestly don't understand how anyone can recommend this place. This is by far the dirtiest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. The hygiene is appalling. The tables were covered in a layer of black grime and felt incredibly sticky to the touch—it looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in years. On top of that, there was a smell of toilet cleaner lingering in the air. This environment completely ruined any appetite I had. And the food was terrible. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I took my parents here for dinner yesterday and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered the salted egg loofah, sizzling beef, three-cup salmon, and beef chow mein. The chow mein arrived with hot noodles but cold beef. The sizzling beef plate was watery, and the loofah dish was literally half a bowl of water. Only the three-cup salmon tasted decent. When I spoke with the only server working that night, she was impatient and dismissive. She said the chow mein could be remade, claimed the loofah “is supposed to have water,” and insisted the sizzling plate “needs water or it will burn.” If the issues were just from the kitchen, we could have been understanding — but her attitude made everything worse. She showed no smile the rest of the meal, and because our table was next to the cashier, we could hear her loudly slamming dishes in the back. This ended up being one of the worst meals we’ve had in the Bay Area. The food quality was poor, and the service was even worse. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.
