I got the roasted oolong milk tea with 1/3 sweetness and added grass jelly. It was fabulous, the perfect light sweetness, not overly creamy (but not thin), and strong tea flavor. Super efficient ordering and fast turnaround (I assume they get a lot busier than when I went bcs they also do DoorDash). Right next to Apple campus too.

The matcha milk tea with red bean was absolutely great. This one of the few boba places that actually gets the perfect blend of sweetness and non-sweetness. I have always recommended this boba shop to friends, and will continue to do so after many years. Since my high school days, this place was to the go-to place after school. Absolutely enjoy it.

this has to be one of my favorite places in the bay / Cupertino! The prices are very reasonable; sign up for their loyalty program and there's BOGO every few months which is craaaazy! I love their milk tea which actually uses evaporated milk, not creamer. I am on a low sugar diet right now (so sad) and the woman yesterday checked for me that it's low carb, yay!!! without all the toxins of creamer. I get it with the grass jelly and it is superb. Boba is also excellent! Afterwards my blood sugar didn't spike, which is crazy unheard of with boba! they also let me bring my own boba cup which also keeps me going back. I don't want to contribute to the plastics crisis, and I love how thoughtful and accommodating they are here. Plus the tea slaps so it truly is a 5 star experience. Thank you TenRen!!!

Our go-to bubble tea place. It is consistently great in terms of tastes and chewiness. The tea taste is well rounded and robust. The boba could be slightly more QQ. Price is super reasonable.

My favorite drink is their Roasted Oolong milk tea. Since COVID, they don't allow anyone in the shop, so one will need to order at a table positioned by one door and pick up at the other. They do sell teas as well, which one can select by looking through the glass.

Definitely had the tea aromas and the boba were just right, for both small and regular bobas. The drink wasn't on the milky side, but if that's your preference, then ensure to let them know. The sweetness in my jasmine drink had a tad of weird finish, similar to artificial sweetener or something...4.5*. The roasted oolong didn't have it. Definitely can taste and smell the tea as well....4.5*. The Line can get long on weekends so order ahead. I'll be returning to try the 913 King oolong tea.

The employee Andre was perfectly pleasant and advised me that the combination could turn out not as I expected. But I assured them I was ready for the result. I never expected for him to give me samples of the milk tea with different levels of mango syrup to see which one suited my taste the best. Never before has a boba place offered me samples to make sure the drink was how I wanted it to be. Honestly, it was amazing. Kudos to Andre and the management who found such an amazing employee. It just made me fall in love with this shop even more.

We kept watching the line and the line honestly seemed to always be out the door. We waited in line for maybe 20 minutes. They also sell their own tea, as well as other tea related items. I ordered the honey lemon green tea with boba and 75% sweet. It was really refreshing! They even put a real slice of lemon in the drink. Even though I asked for less sweet, I think I will get normal sweetness next time. I assume they use a more authentic tea, so it's a little more bitter than usual. Definitely didn't take away from the drink though! The boba also tasted really fresh and had a nice texture. I think that the drinks are a little more expensive for south bay, but it was about the same as sf pricing. Boba was also only an extra 25 cents instead of 50. I would go here again, especially since they make the drinks pretty fast. For the length of the line, they were really fast. There was plenty of parking nearby. I would put this boba shop in one of my top favorites. Also note there is a card minimum of $7.

Mango smoothie with large and mini pearls is the perfect refresher on any hot day. There's a lot of knowledge here, just ask the question.

You can try the tea by itself, or with bobba, lycee jelly etc. If you prefer the extra sweet cheaper teas from QQQ, Quickly or others, you might not like Ten Ren as much as Ten Ren has a lot more flavor. The prices for their milk tea is also reasonable. Since they renovated the place, the line goes faster meaning less wait. But, there is no seating area. Usually ordering something simpler is better. I usually get black milk tea with grass jelly (it’s very fresh).

My first time trying the Ten Ren Tea. The staff is pretty helpful and has good customer services. The Roasted Oolong milk tea was delicious. It was perfectly made and tasted really good. Totally worth trying.

Got roasted oolong milk tea 25% sugar with mung beans. The mung beans were a little sweet- would change to 0% sugar next time. Also got the four season milk teas with boba 75% sugar and it was good too.

Great place get a tea drink as well as buy tea. Don't let the little corner style store look fool you, place is a good spot to get tea. They have tapioca if you like that stuff, menu is not as vast and crazy as other pearl tea places but what looks what they lack in variety makes up in taste. They use real tea that they sell as well. Staff is usually kind, service is usually pretty fast depending on line and pricing is more than fair. Any of the fruit flavored drinks are refreshing and delightful. Sorry no snacks, or outside seating. Parking is spotty depending on time you go.

The roasted oolong tea tastes so much better than the black sugar milk tea.

My first time here, we have ordered white peach green tea and jasmine milk tea which were all pretty good. I usually go with zero sugar because this allows me to taste the true flavor of the tea. Minus one star because it was pretty slow and considering the fact that there are usually a pretty long line of people waiting, it could take much longer.

I ordered black tea with boba and it was extremely bitter. This place seems to be a legit tea shop and you can purchase many different types of tea here. Though there was a good variety, I wouldn't waste my time going here again. Fantasia wins for the best bubble tea every time.

Ten Ren has really great tasting tea. You can really taste the tea part in the drinks, which is what I normally look for in a boba spot. I am always satisfied with their regular green tea without milk, and they don't make it too sweet! These guys have really really quick service. There have been multiple times when my drink came before I was done with my payment. Definitely the best boba spot if you're in a rush!

I ordered Match milk tea and came really bitter. However the lady and guy fixed my drink couple times. I like bitter so I was fine with the mistake but thank you very much for the fixing.

Had jasmine green tea with boba. The tea was not as good as I expected. Had a strong after taste as if the tea leaves were left steeping way too long. Did not expect it from a tea shop that sells tea leaves. Not sure if it was just an off day. It seems to be popular though. Had a line every time I am at the shopping plaza.

Been a customer at this tea shop for 20 years, today is the first time I heard hot drinks can’t be made if ordered online. It doesn’t really make sense at winter time. Hope things can change and give customers a better experience in all seasons.

Ive been to tenren many times, but I tried the taro green tea and it was terrible. I surprised how bad it was, I've never had a boba this bad. I had 50% sugar, but even after adding more sugar it still has this lingering aftertaste that was unpleasant.

Genuinely just 1/5. Tea they use isn't even the mid stuff they sell. Said they don't want anyone reproducing their flavors. The server didn't even know or has never tried their tea, like they don't care. This is just not a good tea place at all I don't know how they managed to bot to 4.5 stars that's definitely fake

Unpleasant Experience This was my first visit to this store, and unfortunately, I didn’t feel welcome from the moment I placed my order. There was a miscommunication, and I received the wrong drink. When I went back to request a correction, they remade it but handled the situation with a bad attitude—placing (throwing) the drink on the table in a dismissive manner. The lack of courtesy made the experience disappointing.

Fine if you're looking for a bubble tea shop. If you're shopping for actual tea, go somewhere else since you can't enter to see what they have in stock. The employee was unsympathetic and basically shrugged her shoulders, didn't bother offering any way to work around the situation. The loose teas there have probably been sitting on the shelves for a very long time due to the low turnover. Old tea=disgusting tea.
