Where do I begin. I went to this location on today after calling my order in. The customer service is superb. And to whoever made my small super Hawaiian pizza THANK YOU!!! It's soooooooo delicious and perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be returning.
Been there twice, the second time I came in and said I'm here to pick up a pizza for... and before I could finish, the associate said,"I got you Mr. Watkins". That's customer service. Plus I love the "Works" pizza

Jack is the BEST! He always makes sure our pizza is just right and never makes me feel like an annoyance when we make requests. He even makes sure our pizza is heart shaped on Valentine's Day and that the Jack O Lantern pizza looks perfect for our girls on Halloween. The pizza is always cooked to the perfect crispness and crafted with love. Our family loves the Papa Johns location and it's our first choice on Pizza night 😁

I received a coupon to get a discount off my total order, I didn't bring lunch with me at work. But was cautious about ordering from them again. But the delivery was right on time. They got my order right, along with the dips that I ordered! If I'm in the neighborhood again and I need a pizza. I'll definitely give this Papa John's another try! P.S. I ordered delivery, so I just placed 3 stars for the atmosphere to make it fair.

The only reason I gave the service four stars this time and not five cuz I go there a lot and they're usually tell you it's going to take this specific time to have your pizza ready and almost never ready at that time.. but this time that they were spot on!!! So thank you, Papa John's!

Had to wait for almost an hour since ordered to get my pizza. Though the guy working upfront did great job at his best, felt bad for him doing all that amount of work by himself. Maybe you might consider hiring more stuff members at this location if you have such high volumes.

Awful customer service. It wasn't busy when I went in and no one even acknowledged me when I walked into the store. I walked up to the counter and waited for someone to finally look up and help me with my order. I paid and they handed me the pizza. No hello or have a great day. And when I was walking out in trying to open the door with my hands full because I'm holding the pizza and holding my two year olds hand. No one bothered to hold the door for me. I don't expect them to do that service especially when it's busy time but again there was no one around and employees were just standing around. I also asked for Parmesan and the girl looked at me and said that they were out. I could clearly see the clear container with plenty of cheese packets in it. I didn't bother complaining because they truly didn't seem to care. Thankfully the pizza tasted good. Not sure I'm gonna keep ordering from them because the Pizza Hut is closer to my house and at least they acknowledge me there...
This is the Papa Johns that kills loyalty to their brand. They never meet delivery times, and the food is always cold, and the order is usually wrong. The fact the tip amount has to be selected before ordering is probably the only reason they still have drivers.
Pizza was great as always, but the customer service is lacking. Asked an employee if it was too late make a change to the pizza, I told her it was okay If it's too late. Employee: the computer isn't letting me change it. Me: okay, so is it already in the oven? Employee: the computer won't let me modify the order. Me: that's okay, can you see if it's already in the oven just to make sure? Employee: the computer is saying it's in the oven. Me: Sorry to be this person, but can you just go check real Quick? Employee: I can't, the computer is saying it's already in the oven. Me: okay. *hangs up* However, they were polite in person when I went to pick my order up. Just wish they made my experience on the phone better.
The customer service is horrible! There was one lady in front of me waiting to pick up her food and I don't know how long she had been there but once they finally helped her the person who was supposed to be taking care of the front counter just disappeared for like 10 minutes and no one even said a word to me not even who I would presume is the manager (because of the uniform he was wearing) who walked by several times. Once the young lady came back she got my order info and went to grab my order and brought me 1 pizza when I had ordered 2 so I let her know and she was like oh and went and grabbed the other. I have always checked my order before leaving any pizza place but I'm so glad I checked it before walking out the door because with my pizza order I had ordered a spicy garlic sauce and they didn't even put it with my order! I love Papa John's Pizza but this location needs to step up their game or they will start losing business.

I purchased a pizza at leased twice a week from this location some times even more the once for the family. It's late night order but I ordered extra cheese. Two topping I put pepperoni and cheese then paid for extra cheese. Cheese would be a top I guess then extra cheese. I order there all the time. Do you think this would be extra cheese? The cheese doesn't even cover the pizza where is it at. Stop add extra anything they going to give you what ever they want. If I would have said extra cheese it probably best covered with cheese. I am finished truly. Spoke with manager and he said he made them at thats extra cheese.
I love papa John’s for their pillowy crust, but the last 4 times I’ve ordered the crust has been hard and flat and no one eats it… looking at my son’s left over crust, I realized they are running the pizza dough docker all the way to the edge and flattening out the crust (could also not be allowing the dough enough time to rise). It’s just not good, and has kinda been ruining the Papa John’s experience recently. I really hope the manager figures out what is ruining the crust and fixes it soon.

Visiting a relative in Texas, I offered to treat everyone to a delicious dinner. We love our Papa Johns in Roanoke, VA, so out of all the pizza places in Cypress, I chose this one because I trusted the quality and taste would be the same. I did NOT choose wisely. We waited and waited, and if the pizza had only been cold, but still had the correct toppings, we could have warmed it up for a late dinner. However, it was truly like cardboard, inedible, and went straight in the trash. Extremely disappointing.
Horrible experience. Ordered pizza using Papa Johns app and watched its progress... made quickly but incorrectly cut, then it sat for 20+ minutes after being cooked. Had to complain on Papa Johns Facebook page before it finally started the delivery process! When pizza finally arrived it was soggy and inedible!! Tossed it in the trash can - a wasted $26.54. Called to speak with the manager, who claimed she couldn’t find the order. Then she put me on hold again... gave up after listening to the awful advertising about how great Papa Johns is. Sure wish I had read the reviews first. Certainly won’t let their app choose this store again!
I understand that stuff happens, and it's not about the one bad experience you have. But I have been consistently ordering from here for some time and I can say, It's basically a 50/50 chance that your order gets to you in timely manner or at all. This is now the second time my order just hasn't shown up (numerous other times it has been more than 30 minutes later) and I've gotten no explanation as to where it is. If there is a problem with my order I at least expect a phone call so I can make other plans for dinner, but nope. Now I'm hangry. Update: Going through my reviews and realized I never heard back from customer service that I was asked to contact. Wrote a structured email but never got a response. Moving this from a 2 to a 1 star. 9 month update: Still had some "Papa dough" left on my account so decided to give it one last shot. Pizza took 1 hour 10 min to deliver when it said estimated time was 30-40min. It arrived cold. The worst part however is I'm certain this gave me food poisoning as I've been throwing up since 3am (ate at 9pm and was only thing I'd eaten) and am still throwing up every hour or so 18 hours later. Probably should have gone to the hospital to be honest, but thankfully it seems to be slowing down. Pizza has been ruined for me forever now.
I feel like I entered the twilight zone when I came inside this location. I do not understand what is wrong with management here. I feel like the only employee that was even giving his all was the dude making the pizzas tonight. Everyone else was just dragging their feet around like it was the biggest inconvenience on planet earth to be at work right now. I basically had to do the job for them getting my pickup. If I didn't insist for the lady helping me to check the pizzas on the rack again, I would've just been waiting for no reason. I think the other 2 customers waiting in the lobby were waiting on pizzas sitting on the rack as well. I just don't understand.
Workers touching their phones then the food without gloves, handling the money then the dough. Black mold on air vents over where pizzas are made. Yikes.
Requested assistance when I arrived and was told there was only 1 person in the store and no delivery drivers. Made my way in with 2 screaming toddlers to find 5 employees standing around. Received no help from them while picking up my order. A random gentleman walking by the shop stopped to help. Disappointing customer service!!
Will not order from here again. My husband's pizza was not made correctly. He ordered a pepperoni pizza with three cheeses and some seasoning with no sausage got the sausage but no 3 cheeses or seasoning. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak pizza but it came with hardly any steak. I really wanted Papa Johns but next time I'm just going to stick to Marcos Pizza. $37 bucks down the drain. Just not good quality, would not recommend it. Should of read the reviews before ordering.
Terrible. They lost my pizza. Ignored me as I waited for it. Even though the email and app said my pizza was ready. After waiting longer the Manager comes back up to ask me what I needed. Mmmmm 🤔 the same pizza I've been waiting for. He looks again and then tells me a driver took my pizza. Then he asks if I wanted him to make me another one. Uhhhh🤦🏾♂️ after waiting again he finally brings me a pizza and says sorry about the wait. Really that's it. You only wanted all my time, the food that I picked up for the rest of my family is not cold, and dinner is late . ---So disappointed
Mistake #1: giving me someone else’s pizza and then taking it out of my car to give to someone else during Covid season. Had the 1 mistake stopped there, I wouldn’t have complained. Mistake #2: telling me to wait in my car and they’ll bring my correct order right out to me. Had they actually done that, I wouldn’t have been writing this letter either. Mistake #3: I go inside to check on my correct order, and the girl eludes me. Only to find out that they never even started making my order. Had I stayed in my car and waited.. who knows how long I would have been just forgotten out there, had I not come inside to check. Had I went inside and they told me “sorry your order got overlooked, but your cheese sticks are in the oven right now. Just a few more minutes.” I would not be making this complaint letter either. Mistake #4: I explain the situation to the manager, and the manager comes out and continues to justify why their several mistakes are okay. He said “you got your pizza though right? So at least we got half of your order correct.” I informed him that I have now been here for 20 minutes, and the whole purpose of pre-ordering, is so that I don’t have to come here and wait for my food to start being made right in front of me. He rebuttaled saying that that is not true, even if you pre-order, if it is a rush hour time, you can still arrive and wait for your food. I informed him I understand that, but this is not a rush hour time. My food was just completely forgotten about. He continues to find reasons to justify their several errors, instead of taking ownership of the mistakes and not saying “you make mistakes at work too. Why are you being this way?” As a healthcare provider, if I made 4 mistakes at work, you would be dead. And then how would that work if I went to your family members and said “oh, give me a break. Don’t you make 4 mistakes at work sometimes too?” This is why I am now making this complaint letter. All of the times that service recovery should have been implemented, it failed. I understand that this is just a pizza place, and I’m not expecting world class service. I’m just expecting reliable and safe service. Especially during this Covid season. Many of the workers had the mask below their nose. And one man was coughing without the mask while restocking the drink fridge. I usually order several boxes of papa John’s for my hospital. I will no longer be ordering from papa John’s for my hospital’s needs. Especially after seeing the poor regard to sanitation practices of Papa John’s during this Covid season. I am very disappointed with my experience.
Friday night 4/19. Placed an order of one large pizza. Took them 40 minutes to get it out. Big guy in dreads kept standing there, just standing while the guy in the red shirt with a hat was the only one moving.
I live in a new house in Stone Creek Ranch. I called to place my order because the website said that they couldn't deliver to my house. It's less than 6 miles away, so I didn't see why they couldn't deliver. The call center couldn't find my address in their system, so they transferred me to the store to have it entered. The store just said sorry, we don't deliver to Hockley. I even explained all of the above, but they were just like "sorry". Will be calling corporate again to complain.
I hate to change reviews, but the costumer service is horrible, not even a hello welcome to our store. Management needs to improve and train these employees to be more friendly and respectful,I understand that the job can be hectic at times , but there is no excuse to be rude to your patrons that buy from you. I have tried 2 times to buy pizza from this store la both times employees have been extremely rude. I decided to try their competitors Marcos Pizza by far their costumer service is total opposite .
I'd give zero stars if I could. Order #417341650 Another bad experience with this location. We actually stopped ordering papa johns a year ago because of the constant bad service. Tonight the delivery driver confirmed our order as he gave us our pizzas. I went in the house and found that we were missing 3 items from the order. I called and spoke with the manager who did not seem the least bit concerned and said they'd send it right out. 30mins later I call back since now the entire order is cold with us waiting since they said they would send it right out and we are only 5 mins from the store, when I call back I'm told he just left. This is horrid services for $36! I should have saved myself the money and ordered from a competitor, would have been cheaper and they don't screw up my orders. I'm incredibly upset and saddened by the constant bad service we receive when we order from your company. 3/31/2016 -------------------------------------- Old review: Would rate them 0 stars if the option was Avaliable. Every order for last 2 years has been wrong or messed up. We don't do pizza often so we always hope things have got better but never fail they have not. 2 mo ago we order online & our 30-45min pizzas arrive after an hour plus with no call to inform us they were running behind. And deliver us cold nasty pizza with none of the season packets/crushed red pepper or garlic. I emailed customer service to inform them of our bad experience because it was one too many of them. Was amazed to get a personal call from Papa himself apologizing for our experience and later talked to the distric manager and got a rain check for 2 free pizzas. When we tried it again a week later, we specified the order and still was not correct when the delivery guy got there. I emailed them thanking them for their generosity but that with them still not able to get our orders correct we would have to start going else where. Lo and behold they now have that email a No reply email box so I was not able to even thank them for trying. So if you want great pizza i'd go to brothers pizza and eat in, or if you love papa johns just do carry out to ensure you get what you paid for.
Ordered ahead of time for delivery and shows up more than 30 min late. Pizza was stone cold upon arrival. Food order was correct but that is about all I can say on the positive side.
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I went to Papa John’s today (April 27, 2025) around 4:40 PM to pick up my order, which was about $70. I tried to pay with a $100 bill, and the lady at the counter told me they don’t accept it. On top of that, she acted like she was doing me a favor just by talking to me. It’s beyond frustrating that a business won’t accept a $100 bill. Why should customers always have exact change, especially when there’s nothing wrong with using legal tender? The poor attitude from the staff only made things worse. This was an awful experience, and I definitely won’t be coming back.
This is the worst Papa John’s in Cypress. They have nobody answering phones and I have called over 15 times. My order is set up for delivery and there has been no updates contact with the store or anything. The only time they seem to answer is when they try to take your order, typical. Another company just trying to take your money, and the catch? They have a call center so you aren’t even speaking to someone in the store so good luck reaching anyone for help. My order was put in at 7:15PM and estimated for an 8:15-8:30PM delivery. Still haven’t heard anything and currently on the way to the store to get an answer from an actual person IN STORE. Will never recommend Papa John’s let alone this location. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE YOU WILL ENJOY! Sadly they have a great taste but after this experience and several others, it’s not enough to deal with order issues, delays etc. Whoever the Manager is over this location, I hope this gets to you and you have a complete makeover for your store and how you handle your customer service. Even then will I still not spend my money here, if you’re worried about price. Reminder you are also ensuring you get your food on time and correct. And they wonder why their driver will not see any sort of tips. No offense to you, but you just have to represent a shameful location.
Order placed at 4:39pm. Before the order was placed they told me 40 min delivery. Had family and friends over for Halloween. After order was placed + $20 tip they told me it would be 60 mins. Then 70 mins. That was annoying that the time increased AFTER I paid. Now the store phones are down and their ordering department can’t give any updates on my food. My family and friends have nothing to eat and I have no idea where or when I can expect my food. I’m going to have to call my credit card company to let them know I never received the food I paid for! We wont be home in time to accept the food because they were so delayed! Take your business somewhere else.
Ordered a pizza at 10:00 and didn’t even get my order till 10:50 almost a whole hour later, I receive a text message stating my order was ready. Clearly they’re no sense of structure at this location, this was my first time trying this pizza place but will be my last. My order was just sitting the employee didn’t even wave to tell us the order is ready. I waited almost a hour for what? Food isn’t even that great here. Nothing to beat dominos or Marcos pizza. Everyone just looks like they hate there jobs here, and honestly why is one person even working on the weekends when it’s the most busiest? Honestly team members needs training here and more employees needs to be hired management here needs to start picking up the slack and all. Food is very mediocre only came here because my boyfriend was craving this, if it wasn’t for him I would’ve never step foot inside a papa John’s. Pizza taste like old cardboard.
Got my text at 7:14 that my order was on the way. 7:56 called to check on it and was told it was really busy by manager and that text was computer generated. 8:12 order finally arrives from a 5 mile trip. Driver said he didn't leave till 7:30 he thought. Pizza and bread sticks are cold and he did not bring my drinks. This is the second time drinks were forgotten and one time I got completely wrong order. I never complained before but this time I did. Was told by manager they would see about credit for drink or he could sent driver back with it. Told him to give me a credit.......wonder if I will get a credit???? Sure didn't last time. No more Papa John's for me.
Update 3/2023…..still no refund. Update as of 12/27/21…. Still have yet to receive a refund for our ordered. Corporate contacted us and we still haven’t heard back. Papa Johns used to be my favorite but they have forever lost a customer. Ordered online ahead of time for 6:15pm delivery. At 7 P.m. I called to check on the status of my order and I was told that it had already been delivered. However there was no food at my door. I was then given the option to re-order and wait another hour or to cancel my order. I chose to cancel my order and asked for an email confirmation that it was canceled. I was told I will not get a cancellation email but that if I didn’t get my money back within 30 days then I should call back to talk to the manager. After seeing the other reviews of this location I regret my decision to order from here and will not be doing so again in the future

I ordered 2 pizzas and wings thru Uber eats last night. Both of the crusts of my pizzas were burnt, and of course, my kids didn't want to eat burnt pizza. I called Uber eats, and they did nothing! Then I called Papa johns and spoke to someone who admitted they are having issues with their oven, so pizzas are coming out burnt. I called the manager today, and she said there isn't anything she could do about it. So I wasted $30 to get some burnt trash pizza. I see why this location has bad reviews. I will never again order pizza from this location. They should accept some responsibility for their mistake. If they knew there was an issue with the oven why not monitor more closely? I am a single mother, and I dont have money to throw in the trash due to someone's else's issues. This is bad for business!!!
We have always had a great experience with Papa Johns until last night. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were cold, and all of the toppings on one pizza was on the other side. I called and talked to the Assistant Manager Elsi and he said he would refund one of the pizzas. That satisfied me until I woke up and saw that someone called me at 1253am. Not cool Papa Johns! There is a lot of competition out there. Yall need to get it together.
We love our pepperoni pizza and we saw this seasonal Pumpkin pizza with pepperonis around it and it has a little face. It look really cool. And we got this (see photos). I didn't raise a big concern but I called them and told them. The manager responds(or whom I assume was the manager) with 'this is how we are told to make them. With 3 pepperonis for each eye and 7 pepperonis for the lips'. Well this is NOT the picture. If you wanted any pepperonis, you needed to cut in the middle. The picture (showing what it is SUPPOSED to look like) shows pepperonis surrounding the entire pumpkin. And she responds with 'we do not make it how the picture looks'. We won't be back here. I used to love Papa John's and this woman(and the pizza) single handedly ruined it for me.
Ordered a special 3 topping Philly Cheesesteak Pizza $13.99. Thin crust. But toppings are very thin. Looks like a $6 pizza instead. No ketchup when asked. Disappointed!!
I ordered extra sauce didn’t get it! Christopher told me I had to delivery the pizza back. I have held the issues and I can’t drive and choke with dry pizza. He had the audacity to hang up on me. He said he was the manager but couldn’t sold the issue I had for it to be redelivered with the extra sauce and he said he couldn’t that I had to drive and drop it off. I have doctor orders that I can’t drive which I shared with him. All I wanted was redelivery with the way I ordered it or my money back he did neither but hand up on me! Very unprofessional!! Bad service Cold pizza and with incorrect ingredients! Not sure who owns this papa John’s but someone needs to refund me!
I ordered extra sauce didn’t get it! Christopher told me I had to delivery the pizza back. I have held the issues and I can’t drive and choke with dry pizza. He had the audacity to hang up on me. He said he was the manager but couldn’t sold the issue I had for it to be redelivered with the extra sauce and he said he couldn’t that I had to drive and drop it off. I ordered 2 pizzas and wings thru Uber eats last night. Both of the crusts of my pizzas were burnt, and of course, my kids didn't want to eat burnt pizza. I called Uber eats, and they did nothing! Then I called Papa johns and spoke to someone who admitted they are having issues with their oven, so pizzas are coming out burnt. I called the manager today, and she said there isn't anything she could do about it. So I wasted $30 to get some burnt trash pizza. I see why this location has bad reviews. I will never again order pizza from this location. They should accept some responsibility for their mistake. If they knew there was an issue with the oven why not monitor more closely? I am a single mother, and I dont have money to throw in the trash due to someone's else's issues. This is bad for business!!!
We have always had a great experience with Papa Johns until last night. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were cold, and all of the toppings on one pizza was on the other side. I called and talked to the Assistant Manager Elsi and he said he would refund one of the pizzas. That satisfied me until I woke up and saw that someone called me at 1253am. Not cool Papa Johns! There is a lot of competition out there. Yall need to get it together.
We love our pepperoni pizza and we saw this seasonal Pumpkin pizza with pepperonis around it and it has a little face. It look really cool. And we got this (see photos). I didn't raise a big concern but I called them and told them. The manager responds(or whom I assume was the manager) with 'this is how we are told to make them. With 3 pepperonis for each eye and 7 pepperonis for the lips'. Well this is NOT the picture. If you wanted any pepperonis, you needed to cut in the middle. The picture (showing what it is SUPPOSED to look like) shows pepperonis surrounding the entire pumpkin. And she responds with 'we do not make it how the picture looks'. We won't be back here. I used to love Papa John's and this woman(and the pizza) single handedly ruined it for me.
Ordered a special 3 topping Philly Cheesesteak Pizza $13.99. Thin crust. But toppings are very thin. Looks like a $6 pizza instead. No ketchup when asked. Disappointed!!
Website said my order was ready. Drove there immediately. Walked in and discovered the pizza was a theoretical concept because it hadn’t even been started. Then I was told they “don’t do walk ins,” despite the fact that I had already ordered online. So apparently the pizza only begins existing once I’m physically present and acknowledged by staff. Wasted trip, wasted time, zero accountability. Will not return.
I don't seem to understand WHY this particular employee seems to always have an issue with me when I go pick up orders for this location. I get along with all the other staff members. It is only this individual in particular that makes it impossible to pick up orders from this Papa John's location. At the request of wanting to know the name of this particular employee he only gave me the name "John" which might not be a real name given to me. So I snapped a photo of him. I would like to make it known, I don't appreciate making me feel like im there to "take something away from the customer" which is what this employee does every time I pick up orders from here. Im only there to pick up and deliver the orders. I do not feel like it is necessary to make me feel like I am committing a crime by picking up orders for this particular location. I will gladly take this awful review off if the issue is resolved.
The order taker sent me 25 minutes out the way which my food was cold by the time I got home. He didn't speak well and didn't listen well the sausage pizza had slices with just cheese on them so I will be eating at Marcos for now on.
Papa John’s is a sad fragment of the place I loved as a kid. We ate it from a different store at a friend’s house on Halloween and the pizza was pretty good. They had ordered a Philly special and we ate it up. Ordered here and first thing I noticed compared to our usual favorite, Dominos, was the delivery time was so much longer! It’s just up the road from Dominos so it’s not a distance thing- they are just slow! So then it says delivering like 10 minutes before the delivery window and I got my hopes up. Then it proceeds to be delivering for 20+ minutes finally coming well after the states delivery window. Checked out the order and no ranch with Philly pizza, garlic knots were dry as a bone except on the bottom of the wax paper they sit on, pizza is lukewarm. Oh and the order cost me $50 for a large special, large one topping, and garlic knots. I didn’t need large but that’s the only coupon they offered and unlike Dominos, they don’t offer the ability to pay extra to get one of their 6.99 special mediums as a specialty pizza. Our family decided it’s back to Dominos! One and done experiment.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I went to Papa John’s today (April 27, 2025) around 4:40 PM to pick up my order, which was about $70. I tried to pay with a $100 bill, and the lady at the counter told me they don’t accept it. On top of that, she acted like she was doing me a favor just by talking to me. It’s beyond frustrating that a business won’t accept a $100 bill. Why should customers always have exact change, especially when there’s nothing wrong with using legal tender? The poor attitude from the staff only made things worse. This was an awful experience, and I definitely won’t be coming back.
