My first time here and really enjoyed it. Good selection, great service and nice atmosphere. We had a group meeting and they have very nice back room for small to medium sized groups. Will definitely be back because there are so many items on the menu I want to try. This trip I had an omelette which was great. Also tried the fruit smoothie - very good with breakfast and more like a fruit drink than a slushy.

I got the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the ham and cheese crepe. He also order a cup of Cafe Mocha. We LOVE the atmosphere here as well as the food! They received a lot of grub hub orders while we ate, but I feel like those people are missing the experience! We had Danielle as our server and she was sweet, attentive, and made sure we were happy. The food was great! My chicken tasted so good, fresh, and juicy. The waffles were nice and fluffy. The crepe was also excellent and the ham had so much flavor! The potatoes & hash browns were also superb! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Also loved the touch of fresh flowers! You just don’t get that anywhere nowadays.

We usually come for breakfast, and it’s always full and busy. The food is always excellent, the service top notch. Today we came in at 5pm, not so busy. Service was fast and impeccable. You can customize your order to fit your preferences… i love coming here. They have a special early bird dinner, soup or salad with a good choice dor main dish and a dessert for 17$. They have the Sole Almandine which is one of my favorites. And their desserts are so yummmmmy! Got to try!

This was my first visit in over a decade since they left East Plano. The food and selections are great. Warm and welcoming entry. The owner is still onsite and still very friendly. Coffee bar is available along w cakes, pies and pastries. Kids menu available. Service is not quick...which is fine, just fyi.

This place was cute and cozy. The food was decent and nicely priced. Meaning extremely affordable! I had the chicken Montpellier and it was delicious. I’d go to this restaurant again when in the area. They also have a coupon on Yelp if you check in.

Our meal was delicious. I had lamb. My wife had chicken. For dessert, we shared a piece of pecan pie. It was the worst tasting pie I had ever eaten. Service was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was wonderful. If not for the dessert, the whole experience would have been perfect. I recommend this place, just avoid the pecan pie.

Food was okay nothing spectacular! I ordered via DoorDash it took over an hour for me to get the food but it was packaged with care. The portion size was fair and the bread was really good. The soup was good.

This is about my 3rd time ordering this fettuccini Alfredo pasta since my daughter LOVES it and this is one of the best delivery options I have. Every single time the pasta BARELY has any Alfredo sauce :( it’s pretty much boiled tasteless pasta. (Editing gave it another try and this time they did give me the pasta with extra sauce. Only thing is that the black pepper is too thick my kids don’t want to eat it because of that) This 3rd time I requested for it to have EXTRA ALFREDO SAUCE. And look at the picture. The pasta looks like it doesn’t have Any Alfredo sauce. I do not recommend this tasteless plate, I tried to give it another chance but once again disappointed :(

Haven't been here in several years but it has new owners and an updated look and menu and it was a very pleasant experience. Beautiful tables with fresh pink flowers. A nice bakery and new additions to the menu. French dishes but also American burgers. Something for everyone's tastes and palette.

Cafe de France🇫🇷 is a lovely restaurant in North Dallas that serves up traditional yet affordable French cuisine. What brought me here? I originally found this place through Uber Eats during Covid. I have always ordered breakfast and had it delivered. This was my first time dining at the restaurant. The dining room was very quaint and cozy. I loved the ambiance. I dined in for brunch around 1130am. During this time it was steady, but not too busy. I loved the calmness of the restaurant. You can have conversations without yelling. That was nice and I really appreciated that. For my first visit, I started things off with the Candied Bacon appetizer. I must admit that I am a big bacon lover, and I usually have bacon with many meals. The bacon was sweet and peppery. I usually like this dish because of the brown sugar used. Unfortunately, it tasted more like plain sugar . So if you like sweet bacon, you won’t mind a bit. 😉I do wish that it was a thicker cut, but it was still yummy. I tried a mimosa but didn’t really enjoy it. Not sure if it was not enough oj or a bitter oj. I prefer my mimosas on the sweeter side. This one tasted really dry. I tried a second mimosa with a different champagne but I had the same outcome. My friend liked their Bloody Mary. My entree was the Western Omlette. It came with potatoes and a bread. I substituted my toast for a Banana Nut Waffle. I loved the crispness of the Home Fried Potatoes. The waffle was tasty. The nut to pancake ratio was balanced. I often hate when restaurants put a whole bag of nuts on top. 😡 Still, everything was hot and fresh. I had a very pleasant experience at Cafe De France. I always enjoyed the food on delivery. However, their food was even better dining in than online. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast. I noticed several good lunch /dinner dishes on the menu. The service was welcoming and quick. Just how I like it. I can’t wait to go back Cafe De France. If you are looking for a good french meal, please check them out.

My wife and I chose Café de France for Valentine’s Day and made a 7:00 pm reservation through OpenTable. Unfortunately, the evening was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant had been overbooked due to a website malfunction. We waited about 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, with no apology or clear explanation from the staff. While waiting, there was live music, which was a nice touch, but it was oddly paired with propaganda-style news playing on the TV, which felt out of place for a romantic setting. Once seated, service was very slow and inconsistent. At least five other parties who were seated after us were served before us, and despite arriving earlier, we ended up being one of the last tables to leave the restaurant. When the food finally arrived, my wife’s dish was missing an entire side. My steak, ordered medium well, came out very rare. I pointed this out, and instead of preparing a new steak, it appeared to be the same one simply cooked longer and returned to me. The food overall was just okay to mediocre. Because the meal took so long, the dessert I wanted was no longer available by the time we finished our main course. Despite the multiple issues throughout the evening, there was no apology or effort made to correct the situation. We even observed another table receiving a discount, while we were offered nothing, despite remaining polite and patient the entire night. Valentine’s Day is a special occasion, and we chose this restaurant hoping for a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling overlooked and very disappointed.

Man I so wanted to like this place!! Immediately when we opened the door it was incredibly awkward. It was so silent in the place and you could hear everyone's conversations because the place was very small. No music whatsoever! Who runs a restaurant and doesn't put on music? Even La Madeleine has music playing. The server was just an order taker. She didn't even greet us she just asked what we wanted. She definitely didn't want to be there. Food wasn't anything special or anything worth returning for. The espresso martini tasted like it was made with water instead of vodka. It was just a very watered down flavor. I was excited to try it since they actually had an espresso machine. We waited for 5 minutes by the pastry/bar area to purchase some sweets at the end of the meal, before anyone would help us. Haven't tried the sweets yet but hopefully they're good.

Food is good. Horrible Service. I put in a delivery order. They only sent me part of the order. I called and the lady on the phone said they would adjust the charge, and we ended the call. Then some middle aged Spanish speaking gentleman called our number TWICE (we did not answer the first time) and started gaslighting us that he put in the correct order and suggested that the DOORDASH delivery driver stole part of the order. I told him that was unlikely and he continued to rope us into an argument. He would not stop and was completely unhinged. I had to hang up the phone on him!! When does this ever happen?? COMPLETELY unprofessional!!! The number one thing for a business is CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you call me and start arguing with me about a wrong order, I will never go to your establishment again or recommend it to anyone else. You saved $4 for not giving me my missing egg and hash browns but LOST A CUSTOMER AND REFERRALS FOR LIFE!! GROW UP, MAN!!!
