Opinions de Campuzano Mexican Food Dallas
I started with a Margarita and some chips. I eventually ordered Chicken/Beef Fajitas and it was EXCELLENT!! The beef and Chicken were of high quality!! I will definitely be back there for dinner when I get back to Dallas in an overnight for sure!!
This little restaurant is so cute! I honestly love a great spot for good Latina food and this is it. The restaurant isn’t super big but the atmosphere is inviting and the food is always great. You can never have too much Chips and salsa and that’s exactly what we ate (along with some fresh guacamole) the portion sizes are always perfect for my appetite and I leave, satisfied, happy and sleepy haha just the way I like it!
This is my spot! Love it here been here many times and tried several different dishes and they all were delicious. I’m originally from New Mexico so I’m a real critic when it comes to to Mexican cuisine. My bartender Daniel was phenomenal the drinks were so good and the service was top tier . If you’re in Dallas Ian’s you’re looking for some good authentic Mexican food . Come here period.
Its a very cute place! I got the Texmex hash and it was very tasty! The hash came with queso fresco and crema on top. Omg! It was so good! The green salsa was my fav but honestly they were all flavorful with some spice to them. My partner had the burrito migas which was really great! Im not a big fan of chorizo so i didny think i was gonna like it but the chorizo wasnt overpowering which made it taste amazing!
I want to say thanks for the great service from Eric and also the great host Angelica was so heartwarming !! The food was absolutely amazing I would say you guys are affordable and honestly need more 5 stars reviews!! Also the parking is worth it as well 5 DOLLARS FOR PARKING !! Omgggg cheap lol
I went to Campuzano's for the very first time the other night on fajita Tuesday and I must say I loved it! It totally exceeded my expectations, not that they were low to begin with, but I was so impressed with everything. From the atmosphere, cleanliness, to the food everything was perfect. And ALL the staff was so attentive to me and my friend which made me feel like we were the sole guests in the whole restaurant. I definitely will be going back and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in a great dining experience. By the way, they have a variety of delicious margaritas.
I decided to celebrate my birthday at Campuzano because several friends recommended it, and they specifically told me, “Make sure you ask for Gonzalo!” — and let me tell you, they were absolutely right. I’m so grateful for the experience. It was unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back… but only if Gonzalo’s taking care of me again. Thank you for everything!
Staff were very attentive, atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed and lively. Food was delicious. First time here and pleasantly surprised.
I love it go try them is all I can say ..I love the Diablo shrimp 🍤 everytime I go I want something different but I never can pass up the Diablo shrimp 🍤 one day I will but my family try the fajitas n they love it too...
We came across this Mexican food gem after an evening on the Katy Trails. Needless to say, this won't be our last visit! The staff was friendly, our server was amazing, and the food was SO GOOD! I ordered the Diablo Shrimp Tacos, and our server warned me they were spicy! He wasn't wrong!! I recommend substituting the charro beans for the refried beans.
Tik Tok was right! I saw this come across my page and wow!! Great drinks - I had the Paloma and it was delicious. We had the bean nachos which were amazing and we had the Chile relleno and a Guiso. It was so great! Huge portions also. What took our experience over the top was the great customer service! We were treated like guests and every single interaction was joyful. There was not a moment where I felt we were just another customer. We also got the banana burrito which was wayyyy better than we even imagined. This restaurant has to be one of the highlights of our trip to Dallas believe it or not. Please check this place out!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Campuzano Mexican Food in Dallas nailed it! We brought a team of 16, and the service was flawless—fast, friendly, and always on point. The beef tacos al pastor? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Fajita nachos? Gone in minutes. And the mojitos? Just the right balance, not too sweet, just refreshing. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on flavor and hospitality, this is it. We’ll be back!
This is the first time I am here with the family on a Sunday super awesome environment. If it is your first time just know on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they will only have valet parking so be sure to have $5 in hand they also get card which to me is a plus. They give you an option to pay before or after I love that. They have a big selection of mixed drink some beer. They play the game that showing that day in the bar area for your entertainment.I love the fact the waiter is very attentive. And checks up on us every once in a while, doesn’t forget us as customers the employees keep up with sanitizing tables, and or touched menus. They help each other as a team between hostess waiters and bartenders. For having a bar area restroom area and restaurant is super clean love that that’s a plus for me. Also don’t forget to ask for Bailey as your waiter an amazing guy and very informative and knows the dishes here. Definitely coming back.
I have been coming here since moved to Dallas in 2022. This is a regular stop in my restaurant rotation. The food is always so great, but the real gem of the experience is in the people. As a transplant to Dallas, it is so great to see longevity in the service team who takes pride in genuine, personable interactions. It makes me feel so welcomed when the host team knows my name and the bar staff can place my order as soon as I sit down and ask how are things for me. Excelsior service. Side note: this is first stop whenever I pick up out-of-town guests from Love Field, and such a fantastic introduction to Dallas. Setting the bar high, Campuzano!
We always love eating here whenever we are in town! The steak fajitas are great, but very big! Enough for 2 people! The shrimp tacos were amazing too! But let's talk about their beans! I'm not a big fan of beans but these guys know how to make them! The jalapeño margarita is a favorite as well; not to spicy but just right! I love that they have 2 sizes in drinks, that way you can try multiple different ones. We will continue coming back here every time we are in town!
Best Mexican food in town. Been coming here for over 6 years, and everything has been very consistent. From their food menu, drinks, and service. Usually not a wait unless it’s the weekend or specials going on. Seat yourself at bar area. Mexican guiso is my absolute favourite along with the brisket tacos. Best salsa in town as well!
We do not like visiting Dallas , however we had time today! Their is a front and back patio. Clean and nice and had the whole back patio to ourselves. Bardo was our host and he was nothing short of AMAZING!!!!!! Drinks a little pricey because 1 large margarita was $17 with no buzz whatsoever but good. The salsas and chips were delicious but ask if they can fill up the salsa bowls or bring separate bowls of each salsa. Spicy, but YUMMY. From the time we ordered to the time we got our meals was maybe 10 minutes. We're still trying to figure out how that happened lol. Take a look at the clean plate and that's how we felt about this place. We WILL be back!!!!!!
Enjoyed lunch it in the patio area. Was a little cool outside, but they have tableside heat, which was great. For a sampler platter and everything was delicious. Chips and salsa and margaritas are great as well. The waiter was attentive, and he didn't forget about us on the patio. We did pay $5 to valet park, which is good because there isn't a lot of parking close by.
People were SO nice upon entering. We were sat prominently, we preferred inside seating but the outside looked nice. The 3 sauces that came with the chips were very good and spicy. We got a small queso and it tasted pretty good for my Caucasian taste buds. I got the taco salad, loved it, very flavorful and I couldn’t finish it. My friend got the Diablo Shrimp tacos and it was good, she said it was spicy and the tacos were full. We got sopaipillas togo and they were very yummy and came with honey on the side. Not to mention the drinks were strong and flavorful. Pictured: red drink is blackberry with salt rim and the yellow is pineapple with salt rim.
Salsa is a give away to Mexican restaurant on flavor and spice level. This salsa was addicting and good spice level. Main dish was tasty. No concerns
Wanted to visit Campuzano for a while and it did not disappoint! I ordered the beef/chicken fajita and my wife had the chicken enchilada and they were both delicious. The drinks were nice and strong and the Mexican Candy shot hit the spot. Environment was perfect! They offer limited valet parking and I think that plays a big part in keeping the orders coming out fast since it limits the amount of people coming in and out. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be back!
Today is Cinco de Mayo so took my lady to lunch and we had some brisket tacos. The corn tortillas are crazy good the brisket tasty YUM! They have probably the best beans & rice in DFW (I don’t normally eat beans and rice but I do here). Love the patio the staff is friend. If you already been you know what I mean if you haven’t been here then what are you waiting for.
Had a very enjoyable dinner with great food and outstanding service. We had the chicken fajitas and the chicken nachos and the portions were very generous, as well as delicious. Parking can be a challenge if the lot is full. We drove around the block and were fortunate when we returned a spot had opened up.
Awesome fajitas and grilled items. Lots of great margarita choices. Great happy hour. Enchiladas are under the "lunch special" and on menu. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!. My beef fajitas were delivered steaming hot with a lovely sweet and sour aroma via the grilling onions, tomatoes and green peppers. My wife really enjoyed the chicken nachos, and the small size was plenty for her. Delicious Chambord Meltdown Margaritas and Swirls. Three tasty salsas to dip and savor with the drinks!
Fast service and great atmosphere. I walked in with my mom Saturday around 3pm and there was no wait. The only vegan options this restaurant offers is veggie tacos and beans. The rice is not vegan according to the chef. The margaritas are delicious. My mom loved her food. We will definitely be returning.
You cannot go wrong here. It was so good. Margaritas were on point, chips and salsa were bomb, and the fajitas were absolutely delicious! I never write reviews but it was good, I couldn't NOT say it!
Delicious margaritas, and I love that they serve three different salsas so you can try them all! Highly recommend sitting at the bar. Parking can be a little tight, but they offer valet at night which helps a lot.
Here for work so I had to make the best guess and decided to try this restaurant-and I was not disappointed. Service was stellar and drink was exactly what I needed after traveling all day. I decided to get an app-never had the jalapeños stuffed w/shredded chicken (don’t judge me) and it was delicious (that’s why I forgot to take a before pic…lol).
This place is incredible. We live in Fort Worth and when we fly out of Dallas or are visiting family we go to this restaurant because the is delicious. Amazing enchiladas, creamy and perfectly flavored queso, so good we scraped the bowl clean. And the Uber Black Margarita? Smooth, refreshing, and balanced - hands down the best margarita I've ever had. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend! 💯
We were visiting Dallas and decided to try this Mexican restaurant because it had good reviews. We were very impressed. The staff was super nice and attentive. The place had great decor on the inside. The free chips come with three different types of salsa, which were all very different and very good. The chips were also warm and fresh. My husband had the shrimp stuffed poblano pepper, and I had tacos with beans and rice and everything was great. Our server was “Barto#501” and he was awesome. We will definitely be back next time we visit!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this establishment. The food was exceptional, served in generous portions. The staff were remarkably friendly and professional. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Their tequila selection was excellent, complemented by full bar service. It's an ideal location for families and large gatherings.
Met a friend here for lunch a few days ago. We decided to sit outside since it was a really beautiful day out. Our server, unfortunately I do not remember his name, was kind and very attentive. We both ordered the chicken enchiladas, one with sour cream sauce and the other with queso. They came with rice and beans which were tasty. I normally don’t prefer beans but these were very flavorful. I also ordered the shrimp soup, which is basically tortilla soup but with shrimp. It had tons of shrimp but needed a touch of salt. I had to save the drink for last because I only had one but that was enough. It was a tropical margarita, surprisingly not too sweet and the tequila blended well. I will definitely be back for lunch again soon.
The food was delicious! Drinks are perfect! Staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. 100% recomendado! We decided to eat in the patio, and they have heaters. The best part is that if it gets too hot, all we have to do is let them know to turn the heater off. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
Campuzano was cute. I actually went alone. The food was good. Not great, but good. I had tacos, rice and beans. The cocktails: I had two lemon drop martinis’ with grey goose and they were good. Strong. The waiter was very sweet and if he did not understand, he’d ask another support team member to help. I loved that they all (the employees) seemed to value each other. Overall, I’d return to the restaurant. I’m sure it’s a lot of fun with a good group of people.
Honest review. At first I was offput by the lack of presentation of my food. Lack of ingredients like onions and peppers. I ordered a chicken quesadilla small. However, the seasoning, juicy chicken and quality cheese was really delicious. The price was 14$ and I did not finish it. It’s big. Our service was fast, wait staff was definitely paying attention. Music was diverse.
I came here to celebrate my birthday Saturday since my birthday fell during week. Dallas is out the way for me but I had tried this place a few months back when we were in Dallas and we loved it. So...I definitely had to come back and try again. Definitely so happy we did! The lady greeter remembered me which she was great and so sweet and friendly. Our waiter was great and on it..he was fast with everything and we didn't have to ask him for nothing! But we both tried something different and OMG..our food was awesome! 😋 You get super hot fresh food and so much to eat!! We took alot home to eat for the next day. The atmosphere was great... love the mixed crowds too. The VIP parking is a must! The guys are nice and it's so worth the $5 for easy parking. Ofcourse we tipped extra 😊 I highly recommend this place to anyone and I'm so coming back again and hoping to get the rest of family out to try it. 💜
Love this restaurant, will definitely come back! The service was great! There was no wait and the place seemed to be full on Friday afternoon I bet this place is full in the evening. The food was spot on great! I had the fish and grilled shrimp, it was awesome! The food had great presentation, the chips and sauces were complementary, the portions were good size for the price. We paid for valet parking $5, dollars but I didn't have to worry about parking beyond the front door😁 I can see how this would be chaotic at any other busy time of the day. Still worth coming and enjoying the great food🥰
I love the home town experience. Welcoming and comforting. Great bean soup, yummy deserts, and even better entree options.

They have a good tortilla soup. I also tried the veggie nachos and were good!!! Can't beat the trio of hot sauces too! Also a decent happy hour on drinks till 7p during the week

Good food. Good cocktails. Good service. Pricey but worth a good time.
Parking is not good, so give up the 5 dollars for valet parking. Because it’s popular because it’s good, be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes. The wait staff are cool. The nachos and margaritas were very good and the fish tacos as well. If you geeked from smoking good weed and the smell all over you. They might make you go home see the pic.
General Tex-Mex food, good margs, and fun environment. The server we had was very disconnected, had to ask other servers for service.
Straight solid Tex/Mex place. Great margs, queso. Staff was top shelf. Good value. Brisket dish was perfect.
Good food, very clean and modern bathrooms with a throwback to the cowboy days. Mexican food, we did a assortment platter along with chips and 3 different salsas. Good assortment of beverages, the mango margaritas are fantastic! Parking is very limited and there is a valet here. Busy thoroughfare in evening time. Would definitely recommend and eat here again. Full bar also on site and a patio. They do have a sign stating that if you smell of Marijuana, they will not serve you anything. I asked a server and he did not know why.
Ordered lunch today, first time to try here, and we had it delivered. I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon beef. Ordered right when the opened, but delivery took over an hour. When the food arrived, it had a good appearance and was warm. It also had a good flavor, but I ordered beef in the tacos Al carbon but got combination beef and chicken. The chips and salsa were also good, a thicker chip not thin. Wonder if dine in would have been a better experience. Overall it was good and will try again.
Checked this place out while visiting family in Dallas. Food was very very good. Chicken and beef fajitas were on point. Beans, very good. Rice was good. Service and drinks were also on point. Only negative for me was that the tortillas were not homemade. Could easily tell they were store bought. When you serve excellent fajitas, you gotta gotta have homemade tortillas to go with. However, I will be back.
020324 Stopped by again, this pace is always good. The food was delicious. I had the carne asada. Great tasting, cooked to order. Beans and rice are good. Finally found a place that serves Cerveza Bohemia. The waiter Enrique was awesome, went the extra mile for us. Definitely recommend the place and will visit again. The complimentary chips and salsas are a great starter.
I remembered Campuzano from living in Cedar Hill. It was one of my favorite lunch spots. This location did not disappoint. It's still the same fresh Mexican food I remember, just right in my new neighborhood. Visited on a weekend. It was SUPER busy, but the food still came fast! It's a little noisy when the place is packed, but that's any restaurant. BUT THE FOOD!!! OMG!!! So good! Take a look at the pic of my table. Seafood here was perfectly grilled. Fajitas were to die for. DRINKS were good and strong and the chips and salsa makes the experience worthwhile. I had a tiny issue where the cheese was next to the fajita plate, which was so hot all the cheese melted. They brought more right out without asking. Great food and excellent service!
My fiancée and I were in the mood for Authentic Mexican food and sopapillas and decided to make the drive from Arlington to Dallas just to try them out! First of all let me just say we absolutely loved our food and that was not our issue. We came on a game day and where we were seated was behind a half wall. There were no tvs in our section and I had to put my personal items underneath me just to see a TV that was at least 200 feet away. As a die hard Cowboys fan that was a let down and we could've stayed home to enjoy the game. Our second issue was that as part of our reason for going when we finished our dinner we asked our waiter for an order of sopapillas and were told that the kitchen was closed and they would be unable to fill our order. Had our waiter been checking on us or informed us that the kitchen was soon closing we would have placed our dessert order when our food order was placed. Overall I would definitely go again based on how amazing our food was but not on a game day, and never again near closing time. Be sure when you try them that you ask for what you want up front as we were beyond disappointed and this put a damper on our visit. Portions are large, food was perfectly seasoned, and the mix of customers was a nice blend.
I love their food. Wish they had a better system for their reservations. The server was great. Oh and the drinks are great too!

National Margarita Day?! Say no more. A group of friends and I chose this restaurant based on a friend's recommendations. We got there around 6:15pm and there was about a 45 minute wait. So I put my name and number down and we waited outside until we were called. After about maybe 35 minutes we were able to be seated. Our server, Nicholas, came over, greeted us, and took our water orders. We were then brought chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. The chips seemed housemade and overall I enjoyed the salsas. There was a red salsa, which is your regular salsa, green salsa with a little tang, and an orangish salsa which was spicy. We each ordered our drink (no specials) and a large gucamole which came with 4 scoops rather than 2. Gucamole was very underwhelming. We asked for salt and limes to try to spruce it up. Drinks were large and I enjoyed mine. When asked how they were one friend mentioned he wasn't impressed and Nicholas just shrugged it off like "oh well. You're still going to pay for it." We placed our food orders and we all pretty much enjoyed our food, I had the veggie quesadilla. My sister however ordered shrimp fajitas which lacked the peppers and tomatoes that were listed. There were plenty of onions and the shrimp were large but not peeled. When she told the server about her lack of bell peppers and tomatoes, he said he could get them but would have to charge which didn't make sense because THEY left it off. After explaining it to him, they then brought out a few large slices of bell pepper and tomatoes. My sister also ordered some chips and salsa to go and we got the checks. For some reason my check had extra charges for chips and salsa. When we asked why I was charged Nicholas explained that it was because of the to go order. Ok I get that HOWEVER, one that should have been explained beforehand and secondly I didn't ask for them so they shouldn't have been on my check. Nicholas was very adamant that I asked for them until my sister stepped up and let him know it was she who ordered it and that he could take them back and remove it from my check. We asked to speak to a manager because his attitude was not pleasant. Miguel came over and we did our best to explain the situation. He seemed understanding of everything. I just hoped a conversation happened and things would get better with his service. Another thing to note, they allow dogs inside which I think is unsanitary especially when they sit them near the kitchen. They have two patios and if you are allowing pets at your establishment I believe you should require them to sit on one of the patios. But that's just my opinion. I wasn't impressed with service which is a huge factor and I might not be back.
I went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday. The service was good. They have valet parking for $5 if you want to park on the property of the restaurant. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere is nice. Once my food arrived to the table, the food looked great, but it wasn’t hot. The food was lukewarm. I don’t think they had the air on and it was 100+ degrees outside.
I’ve been to this place a couple Of times, love the food I never really make reviews. I don’t really do that but it just cause it was a special day. I had ordered food for to go ahead of time It was set to have me pick it up at 8 o’clock when I get there. It’s already sitting on the thing and by the time it’s in my hands it’s completely cold like it’s been sitting out for A while and when I showed the receipt to the guy, he probably even realized that it said 8 o’clock and realized that it was sitting out for a while too and even talk to you probably I guess his manager and he gave it to me and you know I’m just very Disappointed because now I have to go home and heat up the food by myself. I was hoping to get it nice and hot, but I guess not.

Sad this will be the last time I’ll be ordering from here. I ordered on phone to go and they charged me $6 extra then the prices advertise for the senior campuzanos. On top of all that they charged a $1 to go fee without even telling you . So disappointed I’ll never come back again. You guys are pushing away your customers with all this unnecessary fees. So sad I had good memories with family at this place. Thanks
I visit this establishment about once a month, but today’s experience was truly disappointing. The restaurant was empty, and it took an exorbitant 15 minutes to receive service. When I informed my waiter that my drink was unsatisfactory, he responded by claiming that it must be my fault because we had been making drinks all day and no one had complained. Guess what I will not be back. Ask another waiter for a to go cup of water she said I’ll bring it to your table and walked to the back. lol so I walked to the bar and got me a to go cup. I’m learning not to spend money we’re they don’t won’t it
I’ve been to this location multiple times, including 2 birthdays for myself. For some odd reason, they keep forgetting important items on my DoorDash order. I was missing a $5 coke yesterday, and today I’m missing an entire enchilada entree? The lady who answered the phone told me the cook got confused because there were multiple enchiladas orders and to request a refund from DoorDash, even though I opted to pick up the entree instead. Maybe chill on the DoorDash orders if you can’t keep up with the demand.
Came here for after dinner drinks with friends. Upon arrival, they were offering valet services ($5) and we decided to use it. There was a 30 minute wait time when we went but it went by fairly quick. I can say that the customer service from the waiter was lackluster. He barely came to our table and when he did it was fast and we felt rushed. I ordered a frozen margarita mixed with strawberry and mango. The drink was good and I enjoyed it. I also ordered a small guacamole and it definitely could’ve used more salt and lime. The chips and salsa they brought out was ok. My friend ordered a small cheese dip and it was extreme let down. Overall, this place isn’t anything to write home about and I most likely won’t be back.
Called exactly before coming to pay for valet to address happy hour specials. Was told they are offered until 7pm. The host put me on hold to double check this offer was honored. After sitting down…
Service was good, food appeared to be good, however every member of our party (2 different families) got food poisoning after eating here. Will not come back!
I almost died here on my birthday when they brought out the bass fish. The vein was still attached and almost choked me out. I pulling it out of my throat like The Ring. I did not want to say nothing at first because it was my birthday. It was not as tasteful and it did not taste the good at all. The tacos are not good either. I was very disappointed and I will not eat there again.
My friend and I went for lunch and the service was not great. The server was older and he was trying but it wasn't working. The silver ware was not clean the soda was flat. I ordered a mojito that was nasty and the place was empty with the exception of two other people. The place is not worth the price
This place is OVER rated at best. The food was just okay.. I wanted at least authentic Mexican food. The chips was fresh and the sauces were good. Pick three option: cheese enchilada- enchilada was hard under the bottom, beef enchilada did not have a taste and beef taco was simply a mess. I had an adult beverage- mango margarita- sweet no mango flavor and NO alcohol at all!! Over priced!! BS $30 for lunch. Will NEVER eat here again.
