I’m so happy to have this cafe in the neighborhood. It’s a fun spot to grab a drink or something to eat or do a little work. From coffees, teas, cocktails and even non alcoholic beverages, there are plenty of options. I love grabbing a slice of pizza during happy hour, i love the Caesar salad and burger! I love the breakfast tacos too. The baristas are super knowledgeable, I love chatting coffee with them! They also host great community events!

Very quickly has become one of my favorite cafes in Dallas. A very relaxed spot with lots of food options and great happy hour deals (you gotta get their $5 pizza "slice"). My friends and I love going for Thursday trivia. Their breakfast tacos are some of the best I've ever had. And talk about aesthetically pleasing- you'll get great Instagram story photos here, especially around late afternoon with the lighting. Parking at the garage behind Urby is comped when you go to The Meteor, which makes it easier to want to go their when I know I can find parking.

Such a fun and unique coffee shop!! They have a nice selection of specialty coffees that are all very unique and delicious. We tried the Lemon Vanilla Latte which was unlike anything we’ve ever had, but the flavors blended and contrasted the coffee perfectly. Also tried a Matcha Latte with Honey Cinnamon which was perfectly velvety and not too sweet. The prices are definitely higher, but the vibe and menu makes up for it. There is a ton of seating inside and outside. We came on a Sunday morning at 10:30 and there was plenty of room and the service was quick.

We were attending a car show in Deep Ellum when someone suggested The Meteor for food and cocktails. Where have you been all my life! I'm not sure where to start-the art deco design, the Design District, the friendly, helpful employees (Vanessa and Amelia), the BlackBerry Bourbon Mash, or the Meteor Burger made with Wagyu beef. But wait-coffee drinks in the morning and natural wines in the afternoon. And not finished - it's a bike shop . My head is spinning!! I'm an art deco chick and love the lounge, the booths, the round bar, and the bad ass doors. I could live here! Did you know it does connect to a high rise apartment? So, apparently, some patrons do live there- technically!! I'm so jealous!! My new fav!!

Solid coffee and multiple seating options! Nice ambiance. Parking is a bit tricky, but you’re lucky if you find some street parking!

Cute casual café with a neat style. You order at the cashier and all the food we had was fantastic. Especially the lavender flavored latte and the avocado toast on super fresh and tasty sourdough bread! Would definitely recommend going here.

The aesthetic of The Meteor is lovely! There’s a lounge area off to the right where groups can hang out, there’s a private table in front of the register that has a curtain for a table of 4, and the dining room has booths for 2 and corner sections for about 4-6 people. I love their avocado toast and chai! Great brunch spot to kick off your day!

I’m from New York and can honestly say that this is the best pizza in Dallas by far. Im so happy I didn’t go to prince st pizza tonight and came here 10 out of 10! Plus the sourdough is a winner in my book!

I visited The Meteor on 03/05/26 around noon. There was a young lady working the counter around that time, unfortunately I did not catch her name. She was amazing. I’ve been at the hospital taking care of my mother for more than a day, left on a shift trade with my sister. Whenever I left i decided to visit meteor since it was close by and I am never near one. It’s been a long few days, so visiting sounded like a good treat, and a getaway. I had my mind set on a few things, and while ordering I became sensitive and emotional. Could be my lack of sleep or just emotional stress. I am never a person to cry in front of strangers, but I did at that moment. The young lady showed so much love, compassion, and kindness. She made me feel seen and not alone, not every person is like that and I appreciate her so much. Meteor, because of her caring nature you will have forever a client in me. Thank you so much, especially to that young lady. You don’t know how hard it’s been but her kindness made me feel warm.

I ordered the Big Bec and a brisket breakfast burrito. The burrito was amazing with the brisket chopped fine and the grilled onions gave it a little extra flavor. The Big Bec was top notch the biscuit was one of the best I've had definitely the best biscuit, egg, and cheese I've had.

Fell in love with The Meteor, their jumbo pizza is delicious, all their pastries and baked goods are awesome! Love the service here, Vanessa is such an amaazing bartender so kind and gives great recommendations. Also Tee is super sweet, their whole team is beyond lovely! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Ambiance, service, food, everything is a 10/10, highly recommend.

Updated Review – June 27, 2025 After getting a response to my original review from The Meteor, I reached out to the email they provided. I was given a $40 gift card, which I used on my return visit. This time, I ordered the seasonal “El Amarillo” pizza, and it was super cheesy and really tasty. I also got the Meteor Burger with fries which were honestly my favorite. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were well seasoned. For drinks, I had the lavender matcha, which was just as good as the vanilla one I tried before. I also took the GM’s recommendation and ordered the hibiscus tea with honey. I liked it more than the green tea from last time, and although I usually prefer my tea a little sweeter, it was still good. I still believe the food is on the pricier side, but considering the area, it makes sense. Overall, I had a much better experience this time. I really appreciate the customer service and I’m looking forward to going back again soon. —————————————————————————— May 2, 2025 Arguably the worst “pizza” I’ve ever had.. The Meteor is overpriced simply because of its location and vibe. It’s definitely a cute place to hangout and get some work done but the food was disappointing to say the least. I ordered the Maglia Rosa pizza, which apparently only comes with a tiny sliver of cheese and is covered in flour. Eating this was like eating bread covered in sawdust and spicy marinera. Their jasmine green tea was just okay after adding 3 packets of Splenda to give it taste and their matcha latte with vanilla was probably the best thing, although it was nothing out of this world. Very disappointed that this was my first experience. Check it out at your discretion.

One of my favorite coffee places in Dallas. Went for brunch and dinner already. I recommend this place to all my friends. Great place for a date, or a girls date. Their coffee is 10/10 Avocado Toast one of my favorites in Dallas Pizza is okay. I probably would order theirs entrees than their pizza. Burger was delicious. Love the bread The girls at the bar were super nice too. They let me try their draft beers.

The pizza was really excellent. Next time I will ask for extra sauce. The wings were good too, but nothing over the top. The service was really lacking, nobody smiled or greeted when I walked in. One girl said thanks for coming on the way out. The person who took my order acted like I was not good enough to be there...maybe I dress to conservative for this place...🤔

The place itself is beautiful, aesthetic, with enough space to sit down and eat/work. Food and drinks need to be ordered at the counter. I was there to study, ordered an iced latte that was just average, had a jumbo pizza during their happy hour which I thought was a good deal for $5, and then had an espresso martini later. One thing is that the staff is not friendly at all, seems like you are bothering them every time you order. Overall an okay experience.

The place is cute but quite frankly I didn’t enjoy myself Has a “quiet” side and an eating said.. The music is loud and they packed my food as if I asked for it to go but everyone else has their food plates. I had their chicken wings which weren’t good at all. The chicken was so bland. The fries and lemonade were the best thing. Probably won’t come back. Sad cause I can see myself using the “quiet” side

The food was excellent- I had the avocado toast and loved it! The lattes were definitely pricey ($7-$12 per latte!!) but the lemon vanilla latte was very good. Unfortunately the setup of the restaurant was a bit confusing- the utensils and hot sauces are all self serve, and there is a water fountain at the station that has a sign that says “water in bottles”. There were multiple half full open glass bottles of water in front of that sign, but we later learned those were used water bottles and we needed to ask for a bottle with clean water. It would have been great if the employee at the cashier had given a quick explanation of the system when we indicated we were dining in. Additionally, the seating area was pretty dirty - most of the tables had food debris and they were not being wiped down between customers. There was a lot of food on the ground as well.

Visited The Meteor for breakfast / brunch. Coffee was great: 5/5 Breakfast tacos: 3/5 - a little underwhelming for 3-4 bites considering the price point. Shawarma platter platter: 4.5/5 - hummus, chicken & pita bread were all very delicious. The salad was a bit too salty for my taste Loved the atmosphere a whole lot. I can’t wait to try the other offerings in their menu.

Beautiful coffee shop on this inside. I love the design on and the atmosphere. The drinks were okay and we decided to get a cinnamon roll that ended tasting like pizza dough… thought it was interesting to try, we were not a fan of it. I would love to come again and try their menu food items and other drinks to rate this place better. Overall decent experience, still recommend to visit and try it out as staff were kind and friendly.

My Realtor and I came to grab a coffee before touring the Urby . Whoever was the cashier was being very passive aggressive . He simply asked a question About the menu and she said “ I don’t know” He then tried to break the ice and say “oh okay ! What’s your favorite coffee ?” . She replied in a snappy way and said “I don’t drink coffee” . He was being very polite and was simply trying to order. She made it seem like we were bothering her. I know everyone has bad days , but It should not be taken out on others . Working a customer service job is not for everyone . Besides that unwelcoming situation , our drinks were OK . I got the cereal milk latte, and he got a lemonade . My latte had a good ratio of sweetness and espresso taste. Whoever made his drink filled the cup up with all ice So he barely had any lemonade to drink. The decor is very groovy and Mid-century. I had came here before and enjoyed their pizza . However, this recent visit had me A bit shocked . Especially since my first experience, here was not like this.

I was incredibly disappointed with both the matcha and espresso latte. The drinks were excessively milky, and the 16oz latte, priced at nearly $10 (including a $5 charge for Fronks milk, since they were out of their other nut milk) felt like a rip-off. Despite the high cost (which was far more than I've paid in other major cities like LA, San Diego, Austin, or NYC), the latte was mediocre, tasting like a watered-down single shot of espresso. The matcha was equally bad, essentially tasting like plain milk, to the point my husband wouldn't even drink it. As someone who makes matcha lattes at home, we found the quality to be very poor in comparison. The $18 price for a small burger and fries also felt exorbitant for a counter-service cafe, though I will say at least the food tasted good.

Came to Meteor in Dallas and honestly the experience was disappointing. The lady at the front had a really rude attitude from the start. I asked for clarification on how their pizzas work since the menu doesn’t clearly explain the process, and instead of helping, she seemed annoyed and barely gave any useful information. There was no kindness or patience at all — just attitude. Customer service sets the tone for the whole experience, and unfortunately this wasn’t welcoming. I hope management works on training staff to be more helpful and approachable.

I was asked not to return to The Meteor after being a regular visitor for over a year. In my experience, the location is convenient for anyone near the Urby, but the overall quality has been inconsistent. The coffee is fine in a pinch, and there are a couple of food items that work, but the main concern for me has been the service and the upkeep of the space. The seating, tables, and common areas often feel dirty and dusty, and the restrooms haven’t always been well maintained during my visits and extremely smelly. If you’re looking for alternatives nearby, Ascension is just down the block and offers a cleaner environment, better coffee, and healthier food options.
