Opinions de San Martín Bakery Dallas
Nice brunch spot, especially if you are wanting really bright and fun “vibes”. We arrived here later in the morning and found they were no longer serving breakfast, but our server was kind enough to bring us a menu for breakfast. They have lots of options from breakfast to lunch, to breads, and desserts. They have a ton of cases towards the front full of breads and pastries. We ordered a huevos rancheros meal and a typical American breakfast meal. Both were delicious! Portion sizes were very filling and staff was incredibly nice. They will answer any questions you may have about the menu. We also saw lots of groups celebrating birthdays, business lunches, etc. Prices were reasonable for the area. We will definitely be back if in the area again!
San Martin Bakery in Dallas is truly one of my favorite places. The food was so so good. Like every single bite was delicious. The berry brioche French toast was divine. Soft, sweet, perfectly balanced. I was genuinely sad when it was gone lol. And the bread bowl they bring out is so fresh and warm and flavorful. You can taste the quality. Alejandra was our server and she was amazing. So kind and attentive and just made everything feel easy and welcoming. I also love the atmosphere. It’s airy and bright with the prettiest touches of green throughout. It feels calm but still lively. I will absolutely be back many more times 🤍
Extremely recommend for brunch options. This place offers variety of options from Latin America. We tried french toast, Salvadorian and pasta. I will recommend to try Ice Matcha as well as fruit shakes. Bakery options are also must try. Overall great ambience, food and worth the money!!
Just moved to Dallas 8 months ago and have been noticing service is terrible everywhere. We came to San Martin by chance and WOW! This place is amazing! Valet parking, smiling staff( not common in Dallas Apparently) amazing atmosphere and the food was on another level. We were served by Ulises and he was really nice and recommend some absolutely amazing options. He made me feel at home! You can tell when someone really cares. I’m not gonna lie I wanted to order the whole menu. I got the steak chilaquiles chipotle. The beans are insanely good too! 100 STARS!!
San Martin is a hidden gem in plain sight. The atmosphere is undeniably elegant and vibrant with all the greenery and natural light. The food matches the vibe—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bakery is phenomenal (don't leave without trying the pastries!), and the coffee is top-tier. Whether for a casual coffee date or a full brunch, it’s a must-visit in Uptown.
From the moment we walked in everything was great! I’m a big believer if your service is great, your food is even better! Ulises was our server and let me tell you he was amazing! From the food recommendations along with his service! Top notch!
I'm truly thankful we have this Guatemalan import bakery and restaurant local. You can't go wrong with anything from the bakery! They make a great chai tea latte as well. If you haven't stopped in here, you MUST! Beautiful atmosphere filled with plants and natural lighting. I can't say enough about their artisanal baked goods- they're all so fresh and so good!
This bakery offers an exceptional experience from start to finish. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and clearly made fresh, which truly elevated the quality of the food. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. It’s evident that great care is taken in both the products and the service. I would highly recommend this bakery and look forward to returning.
Everything about this place was excellent! The wait was minimal to get seated as well as the food arriving to the table! Bread was amazing! I had the skirt stake hoagie 10/10 would recommend! No hesitation. Beautiful establishment. Our waiter Jimena was fantastic! Super helpful and honest!
Ulysses was great and was extremely attentive for our table. He has such a positive vibe and an incredible smile. He explained a lot of the menu to me and helped me order what he thought I might enjoy the best. We got the tecpaneco and chilaquiles and avocado toast. Everything was delish!
This Guatemalan bakery does not mess around. The moment you walk in, the smell hits first—warm sugar, toasted flour, and that faint whisper of anise that signals serious Central American baking. The display case is crowded in the best way: conchas with crisp shells, soft pan dulce that actually tastes like something, and rellenitos that are rich without turning greasy. Nothing here feels mass-produced or rushed. Pair any pastry with a cup of cortado or espresso. Quick bites included flatbread pizza (pink space, arugula, mushrooms, red onion, & mozzarella); spinach & beef empanadas; Spanish lasagna. All yummy and fresh.
San Martín is an amazing place with a great vibe. I went in the morning and even saw Santa Claus there, which made the experience unforgettable. The service was excellent super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care, making the whole visit feel special. David the server was very kind I liked it so much that I came back in the afternoon, and the restaurant looked completely different in the best way. It was beautifully lit and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. San Martín has incredible food, outstanding service, and a really nice environment. I left very satisfied and would absolutely recommend it. Its bread is delicious
This is my go to place for saturday brunch, the best things to try there are the chilaquiles divorciados with cochinital pibil, the best ive had in Dallas, the servers are attentive and nice, it also has a backery inside of the restaurant next to the main dining area, place feels fresh, good lively atmosphere, the menu is being constantly changing with new chef creations on top of the normal menu in case you’re in the mood to try new dishes all mexican salvadorian cuisine, it does get a bit crowded on saturdays and sundays during brunch so wait time might be 20 mins if group of 4 or more.
Good food options for breakfast. Service was great, staff is friendly. The naranjada and Spanish latte were so good! Great selection at the bakery. There is complimentary valet parking for dine in and self parking for a quick bakery run. I would like to go back for lunch/dinner menu.
My server Laura was absolutely incredible! She always makes sure my friends and I have a memorable dining experience. In addition to having the sweetest server ever, the food is always fresh and undeniably delicious. The vibrant atmosphere and presentation at San Martin breathe elegance and vitality. I cannot say enough great things about this place! The coffee is arguably one of the best in Dallas, the bakery is phenomenal, and the staff are some of the kindest people you will ever meet!

We came for brunch on Sunday and it was PACKED! Should have known 🤦🏻♀️ Parking was nuts and valet was backed up, but thankfully we found a free spot in the street a couple of blocks away. We requested to sit on the patio and were told the wait would be 35 minutes, even though we had walked right by the patio and there were 2 empty tables. I was told that they couldn’t seat us b/c there were other people ahead of us. Understandable. We browsed the bakery while we waited, and our mouths were watering. I don’t think we waited the full 35 minutes, but we were seated at one of the empty tables we had seen earlier. There seemed to be a little confusion about who our server was because we were approached by two different ones. Service was a little slow but again, it was crazy busy inside - very loud inside the restaurant. Patio was pretty peaceful. Food was mid - we had egg white veggie omelette, berry French toast, avocado toast, and a side of pupusas with coleslaw (they looked very interesting on the menu). BTW the menu is extensive - like 35 pages! But colorful pictures of every single dish, which was very helpful in deciding. Overall a good vibe, so-so food, and a little slow on the service.
Nice atmosphere and friendly customer service. There are several drinks to choose from and most you can get an alternative if you can drink milk. I ended up getting a matcha latte with oat milk, which was super delicious. I did also try their agua de jamaica and horchata they were also pretty good. I would recommend trying those as well. We had the salmon and tostada as an appetizer. Those were also good. There are several food options to choose from, but I ended up ordering their signature burger.
