I have lived in the area for several years. For the longest time it was everything that was described. It tasted nasty, looked worse, and you got almost no service. I recently returned to them within the last 6 months and the transformation was amazing!! I get constant service and they all try and help one another. The food is great. My friend and I are frequent visitors compared to the last 5 years we spent away from this place. Food is constantly coming out fresh, I see the food [leftover on plate] actually discarded and they are always cleaning up the place. The decor has not really changed over the years so in that since it is ok, but otherwise, fantastic!! Give it another shot, I am so grateful for the transformation!!

I LOVE LOVE this place!!! I’ve been going here since 2006. My daughter was 10 or 11 when we made this our Chinese food home. She’s now 28. The Salt and Pepper shrimp is the BEST I’ve ever had anywhere. I’m back and forth from Michigan the last five years. But when I hit the DFW city limits, you best believe this is the FIRST place I’m going to go eat at!! Shout out to the fabulous cook (I don’t know his name, but he definitely knows me when I come in)!! Shout out to the Owners too, glad yall survived Covid (it got tough there for a minute); but today - you have rebounded well. Love yall and your great customer service and food!!!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid with my family (now I’m 21) so about 10 years now and this place has always had deliscious food yeah it may look a little outdated and a bit worn but you’re there to eat not to get inspired by the scenery, anyways this place also holds nostalgic place in my heart and the waiters are always kind and attentive, so if you’re looking for a place to eat some good Chinese this is ya stop

Really a great place to take your family and friends to eat it was Mongolian style food. Plus they even had baked salmon. And the price is good $15 per person. Try it out you'll love it

No complaints, outside of maybe needing some A/C improvement. You pay first includes drink. Very good stir-fry, with carrots (don't laugh they're becoming rare) and very well stocked bar. Quality soft serve for dessert. 👍 Very child friendly; maybe too much.

The food was good. I have been there times before. There is one serious thing I DO NOT like about this restaurant... they don't consistently keep those fans on!! It's hot in there!!! There is NO REASON not to turn them on or the air conditioner. Our temperatures have been relatively mild this fall and winter. The one recurring complaint I have about this establishment is, it' so uncomfortably hot in there. My guest and I left soon, we couldn't stand the discomfort any longer. TURN THE AIR ON... CIRCULATION IS NEEDED!!! You're making good money... give the patrons AIR!!!

I always go to get the TOGO buffet. Every time I go they are putting out fresh food. It is hot and good. The prices are reasonable. I believe I paid $12 for my TOGO buffet but that varies depending on how much food you put on your plate. I don't know what they put in their green beans but they are perfect. Their seafood is fresh and does not smell fishy. Lastly the guy who works the front counter is always friendly and carries on a conversation with everyone. He even warned me to protect my debit card and what I need to do to protect it. He bagged and secured my food so that it didn't leak and gave me plenty of condiments. Love this place!

Loads of fresh and hot foods, you can't go wrong with that. My only take away about the food is that it's bland. Seasoning or any type of marinade to give the food more flavor would easily make this a 5star review. Other than that, great place to take your family and the servers do really talk or bother you, they just see an empty cup and know to refill it.

The food is great and made fresher when you go at certain times of the day. Love that they have an area where you can create your own dish and they'll cook up for you on the Mongolian grill. Waitress was attentive and kind. Prices are not bad compared to other buffets.

I usually end up going here when I'm in the mood for Chinese food. As of yet I have never eaten in so I can't say anything about that. I do like their take out option. You get to pick what ever you like from the buffet and you pay based on the weight of your food. The food is usually good and hot. They do have a sushi section but it's bare minimal and has a tendency to be bland. I would stay clear of the dessert section, I have never had anything good from that section. But that being said the main buffet section is pretty good. Cheap and easy.

We were in the area and craving Chinese so we decided to stop by and give it a try. Upon entrance it had a funny smell but it wasn’t too strong to make us turn around. You pay before you eat so make sure to have your wallet ready. And also make sure you tell the host the age of your kids or they will charge you for adult price. They had a variety of choices. We didn’t see any crawfish. Their dessert options were good too. Our waiter was very attentive. I would come back again and give it another shot.

The food is great, you won't be disappointed there. However, some of the workers are a bit rude and that will dampen your experience. I've been there twice, and twice it was with the receptionist, once with the waiter. Though, there are some very nice people there as well. It was a bit weird that they make you pay before you enter and eat, then again, it's a buffet so that's understandable. But, when the service is rude it presents a different understanding.

It's ok as far as buffet goes. The fried foods were a bit gummy but I did like the grill area.. but they may need to clean a little better between grilled dishes... mine and my husband's were spicy when we got them with red pepper flakes and we didn't even add that. I will still go again..

I haven't been there in a while. They used to have the best lo mein that is cooked right in front of you. But, this time is wasn't good. They use these orange noodles now and the bar wasn't stocked with all of the vegetables and this was during the slow time of the business. So what was up with that? I was disappointed.

Food was ok. Got there shortly after opening. Place was fairly busy. Please note you have to pay before you sit down. Guess they've had a problem with dine and dash. I would say ide be back but i witnessed our waiter sitting down eating across from us with his gloves on that he had just got our refills with and then got up to get refills for other guests with the same gloves on. That is bad food safety practices IMO and could potentially make someone sick. Heres hoping the others working there do not do the same thing. We recently visited this buffet, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was subpar, with no standout dishes to make the visit memorable. While they offered turkey for Thanksgiving, there were no clam dishes or raw oysters, which was disappointing. One unusual aspect is that you have to pay before being served, which isn’t standard for most buffets. On the positive side, there’s plenty of parking available, and although there are only two restrooms, they were clean and decent. Overall, this place didn’t leave a lasting impression, and I’m not sure I’d return.

I'm a Senior Citizen, & every time I go in there to eat, the Senior Citizen discount changes. They really don't take any discount off for Senior Citizens at all. Thou' they have a Seniors discount. You have to catch when the put out at lunch & dinner to get fresh food.

My dad and I decided to come here after a hard day working at my house. We've been here before and we liked it. So we returned but we were not expecting the food to taste different. It had a funny taste. We ate but not enjoyed it. Maybe they were just having a bad day 😕. Another thing that was new to us is that you have to pay before they seat you. They do have a variety of different Chinese dishes though. Try it out for yourself... you might like it 🤷🏼‍♂️

When the Hispanic cook was cleaning the area of the food some fries were out of the tray and instead of cleaning the area an disposing of the fries he tossed them back Into the food tray. Didn’t like that scene at all. 12/23/23 The food taste’s excellent very good but the some of the food continues to be cold. The chicken wings are amazing, these were warm. Maybe this would have been a better place if we had gone earlier and the food was fresh. HOWEVER, we arrived 45 min until closing (I know I don't expect cooked to order food). The food was terrible. Everything was hard and cold, They were rude when they asked if we wanted to order to go or dine in and we chose dine in so late. Might try ag as in at an earlier time.

Food was cold, girlfriends food wasnt the best. Seemed like they were under staffed or something or a kitchen problem, because there was hardly any new food coming to the hot plate. I had 6 plates and everything was cold. Only thing that was hot was orange chicken, but it got really cold quick. I thought it would've been a better experience here but I guess they weren't on their A Game today. Maybe I'll come back another time but for now it wasnt a good experience.

I wouldn't recommend this location. Staff is not exactly friendly. The food is not that good either. The lo mein, the chicken teriyaki and the garlic shrimp are ok . But the rice is cold and hard and the shrimp and lobster are not that great and neither is the broccoli and chicken. Oh and the crab Rangoon is horrible. The sushi is very limited and that is just ok as well. I won't be back here.

Give an1 for food on today…. I frequent this place and it’s been decent. I got a Take out buffet order today, you mixed in some spoiled shrimp in the pan I could taste the spoiled pieces and I spit it out, not fair to me as a paying customer. If the food is not properly refrigerated and/or you try to incorporate spoiled with fresh to save money than just throwing it away, we will know. Very Foul on your part.

Food was way too salty to mask the quality and freshness. "Sushi Rolls" were bland, dry, and just flat-out terrible. Sweet and sour soup was too salty and americanized. BBQ rib bites were simply dry, salted beef jerky saturated in transfat. Everything on my plate was simply a heap of old, over-salted glop of msg. $17.31 including taxes. Would i ever come back? I would never come to these types of unhealthy, nasty buffets ever again. Utterly terrible.

I wish I could give zero stars! After keeping calm n bringing the main person to my table to show that there was a roach in my food she was still forcing me to pay the bill without an apology!! My husband and I just ate at China King Super Buffet 2 on Camp Wisdom Road . This was our first time here and we're very disappointed in all aspects of the experience. We both love sweet and sour chicken usually, but this chicken was mushy. The orange chicken was so over cooked that I literally could not stick my Fork into it. The fried rice looked like white rice with a few peas in it. We feel that our $25 was completely wasted and will not be returning.

The bacon wrapped shrimp tasted funny. I told the manager he said its not. But it tasted very bad rotten even. Even my daughter who loves bacon couldn't eat it. I told the waiter and she agreed but the manager left it on the buffet line. Hope i don't get sick.. The cook was making crab Rangoon with his bare hands not a gove in sight. I was at this buffet on December 23rd and the food was cold. I don't know why as I was there at 11:00 when they opened. Also had very poor service as it took quite a while to receive my beverage. This place is usually quite good, however my only suggestion would be to not go when they first open.

They make you pay ahead of time. They charge average 17.00 on weekend . They say drink is free but for that price they are charging you for it. I didn't like that . It's like too overpriced for the food which is low quality. I also believe it upset my stomach 😤 . Don't say free drink when you know well your charging for it.

Tables are too close to each other. Basically elbow to elbow to the people on the next table. Easy way to catch something in there. Definitely do not recommend at all. Tables are not sanitized only wiped down. They need to wipe chairs down as well, cause they are all sticky 🤢

Worse buffet place i have been. Went there with my wife just after i ate at home, so wife was the only one who was eating, she ask me to taste something she picked and one of the Chinese servers said i can't taste anything as long as i did not pay. I have to pay just to make her walk away from harassing me. Poor customer service and food overly cooked. Even one star is because that's the lowest i can give. Can never go there again even if they only buffet in Dallas.

If i can give it negative 10 stars i would. I was given a dirty cup to drink out of, the clear gelatin tasted like dish soap and was told "it new flavor", the pumkin was RAW, the hot "tea" tasted like sock water EVERY TIME i would ask for it previously, of course hoping itd actually taste like tea the next time I'd ask for it. The hot tea in the container looked as if it was served to the previous customer who asked for the same thing. Because i always get a container with about 3 to sometimes 5 tea bags in there yet its still completely tasteless, even with sugar. Again, dirty sock water is the flavor if anything. I forgot to leave a tip for the waiter once but when we were walking out i remembered i didnt leave one so i ran back and waited to find the specific waiter who served us and i gave him a good tip and he was rude about it. The pineapple was extremely soggy. Now i continue to come back because the food is good if you catch them after 6pm sometimes, plus i came here all the time when i was a child. But This review is within a three month span and each time it was always something literally, is it worth coming back after today and the past experiences here? NO. I wouldn't bother after having to ask for a clean cup time after time.

The only thing good about this place is the waiter. How does one mess up a salad? I use the same ingredients on my salads at home and at other restaurants yet it was fisgusting here. Rice is salty, beef sirloin tough and has a sting to it, and the only dessert my kids were able to eat without cracking their teeth was the ice cream. I hope to try them again and give them a better ranking.

I love coming to this place. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I had just paid for my food when a little boy came and told the cashier that roaches were crawling by the desserts. She just said ok thanks. I didn't go for a month or two but decided to give it another try the other day. I like to get food from the Mongolian grill. I put noodles and cabbage on my plate. As I was putting carrots on my plate, I moved the celery to the side (they had the carrots and celery together) and there were dead roaches floating in the water with the celery and carrots. I was disgusted. I guess God said, "I sent you a warning from the little boy the first time and you didn't listen." I will not be returning. The health department has been notified. Nobody wants to have roaches in their food. Update: It’s been more than two years since I made this review or has been to the restaurant. I decided to give it another try thinking surely they have done something about the roaches. NOPE! Soon as I went to get sushi, there were baby roaches crawling all around the plates and counter! How can you all stay in business and act like you don’t see these roaches or act like it’s not a problem! Gross!

Everything tasted wrong. None of the staff was asian (hm). Is it possible that it had something to do with the flavors. Also, I was craving rice noodles which is why I went. There were none. I also noticed that there wasn't any red meat---interesting. The service was perfectly fine. The facility was very small and old. If you're craving the standard American-Asian buffet, definitely pass on this place.

I've been wanting to try this place because it always smells good when I pass, so today I decided to stop. They were quite busy and I was told there were 2 large togo orders before mine so my wait was about 30 minutes. While I sat waiting a roach came crawling by so I moved away and watched it. When it began approaching another waiting customer I let her know and she said "okay, let me step on it." 🤦🏽‍♀️ I decided then that I probably would not go back BUT after getting home and seeing my food AND reading the roach reviews, I'M DONE!! I'm including a picture of my burnt food!! BTW, I didn't find any roaches in my food.

One of the worst Chinese buffets that I've been at, onion rings were barely warm, and some food was so salty while some others flavorless, and grilled food was dry and undercooked.

HONEST REVIEW!!! The food is NOT all that . The rice is indeed hard and the food is a little on the stale side I read the reviews and still decided to go & I’m pretty disappointed not going to lie. I should’ve went somewhere else the price is about 15$ for one person with or w/o drink and the lady at the front is indeed kinda rude.compared to other Chinese buffets this one is at the bottom of my list due to the food
