I visited here on a Friday night which I typically don't do Friday night dining because of the crowds. They had great coverage at the bar, and I really had better service than I anticipated. The server offered me bread and butter before my meal. This never made its way to my table and that's the only reason that I gave service 4 stars. I didn't make a big deal because of the large crowd. I get it. I always have a great time when I visit Pappadeaux and this visit did not disappoint.

I was in the area to visit girlfriends. Food & drink were tasty but it was very loud & difficult to hear our server. Also, instead of asking my friend's preference for dressing her salad, the server poured the whole bottle on the greens, significantly reducing her salad experience. I haven't been to Pappadeaux in more than a decade. I will return sooner to a location closer to home.

UPDATED REVIEW: Cold Carryout! Brought home carryout. It was supposed to done at 4:13, they brought it to us at 4:45. It was cold, not warm, cold. It must have sat there ready to go at 4:13, just not enough workers to do curbside. Get it together please, we deserve better! We pay a pretty price for your food, we deserve better! Brought home carryout.. it was good, we just didn't get our bread. I wish service was consistent here.

I really hate when I go to a restaurant and my steak is baked. And you can taste that it's baked. It's almost completely fat. The tea was good. Baked potato was good.

I took my grandmother out for her birthday, and the food was fantastic. However, I notice this Pappadeaux has a bad habit of putting tables away around 8:30-9pm (when they stop taking in customers) even though dozens of people are still eating. So while we’re trying to enjoy a nice family meal, they’re stacking up tables next to us. It took away from the entire experience and was terrible etiquete for a food establishment. It comes off as the employees are ready for us to hurry up and get out of here even if the waiters are kind. This happens everytime I go to this specific one, but not others. They were stacking the tables before my family even got their food. And we all work so we all know that, that’s a way for everyone to clock out faster, but that shouldn’t be such an obvious goal to your customers. Wait until everyone is has left, and THEN put away tables and chairs please. There’s no point in providing good food if a good experience isn’t prioritized as well.

Order a seafood platter togo and they give me the wrong order give me calamari instead ! Called to get a refund because the platter is $40 they hung up on me ! Terrible customer service!!! Refused refund worst place ever ! Pretty expensive not to accommodate customers ! Crazy i have to check my order because they messed up ! We were greeted right off the bat. Thinking, ok. This is going to be good. We get seated, took forever to get our waitress to come to the table. She comes, greets us. My silverware was nasty. She brought out my tea, the spoon to the unsweet tea was nasty with looked like white crusty towel stuck on it. So, not only was my silverware nasty, the tea was also. We get our food, yes it’s fried but you can drain the grease before delivering it to the table, nope. Didn’t happen. Here’s the slop of the grease left behind. Sad thing is, a Manager never apologized or anything. A sorry would have been sufficient. Anyways, would I recommend this location??? Nope!! I would drive another 30 mins to the one by the Galleria and call it done!!
