If you’re looking for the best breakfast in Dallas, look no further than Breakfast Brothers! We had an absolutely incredible time here this morning. I brought my wife and our three boys (ages 2, 3, and 4), and it was the perfect spot for the whole family. The atmosphere is unmatched—the vibes were amazing from the moment we walked in, making it a great environment for a lively group like ours. The food was the real star, though. Everything came out steaming hot and delicious. It’s clear they put a lot of heart into their cooking. On top of the great service and meal, it’s a proud Black-owned business, so make sure you stop in, show some love, and support this local gem. We will definitely be back!
First time and it was honestly great. We had to wait a bit for a table but that was understandable on a Saturday morning. Believe me it was well worth the wait. Trey gave us a great dose of southern hospitality and made some great recommendations on what to have. We ate the chicken wings and red velvet waffles (chicken was light airy and flavorful with the waffle being sweet and complimenting it nicely) and had the biscuits and gravy (the flavors on this was incredible). Highly recommend and much worth the wait.
Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Often times it's hard to find a food/soul food establishment that has good meats and sides. The Greens were seasoned and the lobster Mac and cheese had a what I believe to have a wonderful consistency and cheese pull. The fried catfish was seasoned and delicious and the blackened was the same. Our waitress Sariyah was a complete delight. I will return and tell others about this establishment.
Thank you to Omari for being so welcoming. I found this spot on TT and when I sat down we had a convo about my trip here to Dallas. Now let’s get to food! Catfish was cooked to perfections while the red velvet waffles and eggs were just ok. However, that one peach mimosa had me feeling good after one drink!!! Thank you!
Really great spot! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. Perfect place for a relaxed meal and brunch — can’t wait to return. Dee was great!!!
Our food arrived HOT AND FRESH through UberEats!!! It is so delicious and superb!!! My husband and I are thoroughly pleased and we will definitely be back to order again or to dine-in! I’m not a red velvet cake fan, but this waffle OMG!!! This Red Velvet Waffle is scrumptious and so flavorful! Our meal was so flavorful! We really enjoyed our food and we received large portions which is great! Normally you don’t get the same quality, and quantity for that matter, when you do take out or delivery service but we were grateful that it was a large portion. I had the Fish and Grits Bowl. The fish was amazing and the grits were so good I didn’t need to put anything on them. But I did want to try it with the Cajun gravy and cheese and it just took that taste pallet to another level; my taste buds were in heaven. My husband’s (Luscious Fried Rice) fish fried rice was excellent. I can’t wait to eat there again. Oh and that biscuit (not pictured) was so buttery and fluffy, I told my husband I felt the love in that biscuit. You can tell the cooks, the owners love what they do. When you love food and want others to love food you pour your soul into the food and you can tell from every bite! I didn’t rate the service nor the atmosphere because used a delivery service but I’m sure it’s amazing.
The food here is flavorful and the staff were professional and attentive. We had the Collard Greens and Cornbread Patties and the Chicken and French Toast. The Collards were slightly too salty for me but they were still delicious. There was about an hour wait but that is to be expected on a Saturday around noon. I loved the decor and all of the pictures of brothas. I highly recommend and the next time I'm in Dallas I will stop in again.
I’m a huge foodie, and I can confidently say I’m in love with Breakfast Bros. This was my third visit, and it was just as amazing as the first. The staff was fantastic,Trey was our waiter and he did an outstanding job recommending dishes and staying two steps ahead to make sure our drinks were always full. I truly can’t recommend this place enough.
I enjoyed our visit! The employees were very warm and welcoming!! Which I loved and the waffles were delicious!! I got the pancake combo which was soo good! The chicken was cooked perfectly! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside ! We also got the lobster Mac however, that was forgotten about until we realized what we really came here for !! lol but that was pretty good. I give the lobster mac a 4/5 only because the salt was a bit overwhelming.
Trey and Joe got customer service on lock. We came in and the restaurant started to fill up, when I tell you everyone in the place had a plate fast! People that sat down after us were eating at the same time as us and everything was so fresh! It was quiet cause everyone was eating good 😭😭😭 I definitely recommend this spot! We got fried salmon and grits, waffle plate, and cornbread patties with mimosas.
Breakfast Brothers in Dallas is a MUST! From the moment we walked in, our waiter Joseph set the tone for an amazing experience. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed from beginning to end. Top-tier service! I ordered the catfish, shrimp, and grits with eggs along with the grilled PB & J and let me just say, it did NOT disappoint. Every bite was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the steak and eggs with a grilled PB & J as well. He usually has issues with steak being overcooked, but not here cooked to absolute perfection! And the mimosas… whew! You can never go wrong with the classic very good and very strong, but the real showstopper was the strawberry mimosa. Not too sweet, perfectly balanced, you could actually taste the strawberry, and it was just as strong as the original 🍓🥂 Overall, the food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the service was a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I were in town for the weekend and tried this place out. Absolutely amazing! I got the red velvet chicken and waffle tacos and he got the catfish and waffles. 10/10 and Saniya H was so sweet and attentive. Everyone was so warm and welcoming.
Amazing experience! Some of the best food I've had period! I got the meat lovers omelet. Huge. My son got the red velvet waffle tacos. Both were perfectly done. Our server was Trey, he was welcoming & funny, he made sure to check on us periodically during our dine in experience. And OMG the food was DELICIOUS!! The catfish bites were seasoned perfectly & cooked with love - our table had multiple dishes & each item was 10/10!! There was also music playing, the vibe was just right.. We will be back!!
The food was goodttt hunnie and our server was so sweet and pretty. Shout out to Saniyah Thanks beautiful for your hospitality. They play some good vibing music you can hear and still talk. We went on a Sunday it was super packed we had a hour in a half wait. There are shopping places near by so we just went and shopped around until we got our txt message. Be aware they will take you off the list quick if you don’t respond. We missed ours but they still let us sit down. The pricing is good.
I score this family owned restaurant a PERFECT 10! Every time I come in service is the same and I love the music. It creates a warm atmosphere and love that my daughter was able to bring in her ESA fur baby Zoe. Thanks Breakfast Brothers for loving us enough to fill our bellies! The food was so good! Red velvet waffles are a must, no syrup or extras needed. Fish, chicken, and grits were seasoned well. Anticipate a wait as the dining area is small but it’s worth it.
My favorite restaurant in Texas! Normally, breakfast is not the best cooked meal of the day. It is here. Creamy grits, soft scrambled eggs, fluffy melt in your mouth biscuits topped with Cajun gravy, southern fried catfish where you taste more fish than breading, and red velvet waffles! Need I say more?! The decor and atmosphere is bright inviting and friendly. The staff are all friendly courteous and knowledgeable. I haven’t had a bad experience, and every time I’ve came I receive the same excellent service but with different workers! I had Joseph as my server today, he made me feel as if I was at my family’s cookout! Thanks for the experience, thanks for the food, I will be back soon!
We traveled all the way from California, and The Breakfast Brothers absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, we felt the Southern hospitality and could smell the magic coming from the kitchen. We ordered a spread that could feed a small army, the blackened catfish and cheesy grits, red velvet waffle and fried catfish, pancake plate with sausage, and the red velvet waffle tacos with chicken strips, and every single dish was out of this world! The blackened catfish was grilled and seasoned to perfection, simply fire! The fried catfish was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, exactly the way it should be. The red velvet waffle was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, but rich and full of flavor. And those waffle tacos? A genius twist that we’re still talking about. Every bite was soul-satisfying and delicious. Our server, Saniyah, deserves a special shoutout. She was phenomenal! Attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu. She gave us amazing food and drink (the peach mimosa) recommendations (none of which disappointed!) and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything, and we’re so glad we did. You can tell she takes pride in creating a great experience for her guests. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive, even team members walking by checked in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The energy, the food, and the service made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had on our travels. If you’re in Dallas and want food that feels like love on a plate, The Breakfast Brothers is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Small place, but great food. We throughly enjoyed the food and it was cooked to perfection. I had the fish and pancakes while my fiancé had the salmon and red velvet waffles. Both odd combinations turned out to be pretty good. The loaded fries was also pretty tasty and filling for sure. Definitely a place to try. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was really busy with an hr wait, so I would suggest going on lighter traffic days and time since it's so small and only about 10-15 table/booths available.

Everything was so good. We got the red velvet waffle and fried chicken and the catfish and French toast. The strawberry lemonade was the best I’ve ever had. We came all the way from Florida and it was so good that we came back the next day. Trey was an amazing server and I would highly recommend him as well as this restaurant!
We had a hour wait but it was well worth it. The salmon and grits was mouth watering. The steak was a little over cooked for my liking but great flavor. Pancakes and syrup were fluffy and not to sweet. Peach tea was down home flavor. Service was spectacular the young men were prompt and very attentive did not miss anything.

Unfortunately, the potatoes were served cold, which took away from the overall experience. Love the concept the atmosphere was festive. Service was good could have been more attentive and predictive of needs . We had shrimp and grits and grilled pork chops. The pork chops were not very good they were tough and to chard. But the eggs fish and grits were 😋 delicious.

I was visiting for work and definitely love breakfast. My friend and I decided to head to breakfast brothers, what a TREAT!!! I ordered the grilled cornbread which was a MUST and DELICIOUS. The fried salmon with pancakes and my friend had the fish and grits which came with eggs as well. The pancakes were a TAD bit too thick for me however my server was so nice and it was a SIMPLE substitution for some DELICIOUS French toast! Overall we were extremely satisfied!!!
