This review applies to the Applebee's located in Duncanville, TX on Cockrell Hill Rd. We Had an excellent experience, We were seated by the greeter wright away, Jamal the waiter was very nice and quick with bringing the food and ice tea. We had the bourbon chicken and shrimp with mashed garlic potatoes and it was sizzling hot and delicious. We had a $50 gift card and used it at the Duncanville location on Friday July 18th. Before that since we live in Grand Prairie, TX we tried to go to the Grand Prairie, TX Applebee's location off of I-20 and Great Southwest Pkwy and there was no Greeter we had to seat ourselves, and their was only one woman tending bar and servicing the dinning room and she was very rude, so the service at the Grand Prairie,TX Applebee's location SUCKED! after waiting over 10 minutes we left and will never go back to the Grand Prairie location.

We had the all you can eat ribs, chicken and shrimp. The food was really good and it was nice size portions. Only issue they had it so cold, we was freezing.

I decided to take some me time, chill and have dinner while watching Thursday night NFL Football game in a booth in the bar seating area. Ms. Ieashe was my waitress and provided very efficient and timely service. I paid for my food. I bagged up my food, left the restaurant, drove 15 minutes to my home. Once I arrived home and was preparing to get out of vehicle, I checked for my wallet, looked in my middle console and noticed my wallet was not in it! I panicked and practically ransacked my vehicle looking for my wallet! I called Applebee's and the GM Geo informed me that Ms. Ieashe had turned my wallet into the office! I arrived back at the restaurant and discovered all of my personal items and cash was still as it was as I last recalled! Very rare, but not unusual! Thank God there are still Honest individuals like Ms. Ieashe! We all know being a restaurant server is not the most highest paying and glamorous jobs! Especially as most dinners do not tip the wait staff they should! I alawys do above and beyond the 20% regardless of the cost of my meal! This was more like the Applebee's I always loved. The bartender was so sweet and attentive, the guests sitting around the bar were all friendly and having a great time, and while we didn't order any food, the drinks were perfect and never empty. And the icing on the cake, not one single fruit fly spotted the whole time. Good job, I will be back.

Updating my review. We visit this location of Applebee's at least 1 - 3 times per month. Our visit on Friday night of last week was one of the best from a customer service perspective. Our waiter Aaron was very energetic, polite and attentive. The manager (apologies but did not get his name but was a seasoned white gentleman) visited our table to make sure everything was good at least 3 times. We also noticed him making rounds doing the same to other patrons. There was an error with our food in which Aaron and the manager acknowledged and fixed right away. This was one of my best visits to this location. Thanks!

I had a super powdery bearded chicken sandwich then traded for a DRY burger. The prime rib was more like Jerky. The kitchen closed before they could remake my burger so I was left having to find food after 2am.

As you enter the door, you immediately smell marijuana which is a big turnoff if bringing your children/family. But the professional and courteous service or our waiter, Terrance was exceptional!!! He was on point with offering suggestions, expediting our order and attentive to check on us - If this is your restaurant choice, ask to be seated in Terrance section; you can't go wrong! Another disappointing area was the bartender. He was pouring out drinks steadily buy overloading with chunks of ice - taking away from the drink presentation as well as the overall taste. He can definitely EASE-UP on those overflowing scoops of ice in the drinks. Overall, food was good, tasty, and top-shelf service.

I ordered the breadsticks and Alfredo sauce. My waitress brought my appetizer cheese sauce in a small ketchup container as a condiment. I asked her if she could bring me another one since it would not be enough for the breadsticks and she said they would charge me additional charge because the district manager won’t allow her to bring it in the appetizer bowl even tho it’s a appetizer. Workers were too busy fighting outside that they didn't even give me my check. And when I did give them my card, they put it down for anybody to get to in order to continue going outside to argue. The security guard had to come and get someone else to come and take my payment. This place is not for family it is a miniature club. Management needs to get involved or announce the environment of the place after 830pm/9pm. I am a pastor from out of town who was looking for food after my flight landed. Didn't know I would be coming to a place with inappropriate music and drama.

I did a delivery order here some weeks ago I rarely do reviews but I think this needs to be addressed I couldn't enjoy my meal because it did not have any tamper seal on none of my food ,so I was left to wonder if the delivery driver opened my food took a sniff or whatever who knows we live in a very chaotic world where people are just ugly to one another for no reason. I'm not bashing the driver but to bring awareness to put tamper seals on the orders so people like me will feel comfortable in eating what they paid for. How i know this cause I was a Denny's manager... , no greeting us or see what kind of drinks we wanted, hell she didn't up sell us at all. But when she got our order she walked off putt our order in then started talking to other customers like their all friends, worst service I had to sit through. Our food came out she put it down and walk away like she rather bee with her people instead of severing us., . Never going back there again. The service was decent--That was the only thing that was good. The food arrived and was clearly microwaved and stale; the presentation was the worst of any Applebee's experience I've had; there was no CO2, so the only beverages available were water & the. WATER & TEA ONLY. The food was more bland than usual and restroom were not clean. I will. Not be back to this establishment.

My food was cold. The wait for my food took a long time.  The people that came in after me ordered well after me yet they received their food immediately after me. Which leads me to believe that the server waited to bring my food to the table until  their food was ready. The butter on my steak has set wasn't even melted anymore and the shrimp were cool not hot and crisp, just soggy which let me known they had been sitting for a minute.  I took a picture of my food so you can see what I'm talking about.  I  reported it to the manager I told him I just didn't want anything because I didn't have another hour to wait for the food to be received. In all honesty he shouldn't have even charged me for the $5 drink I ordered for the inconvenience.

This out second time coming to this location andit was worst than the first time. No one acknowledges you when you are seated, they don't tell you who your server is, and no one helps out anyone. 1st time we were there our server was all over the place taking tables in various locations, no silverware, slow on drinks, slow on food being ordered. At least we seen him and he was working. This time we sat at the table to for 20 min, no one asked if we were helped yet, if we needed drinks, nothing! I even went to the hostess and asked what is the name of my server and he didn't respond. Once again no apology, no let me grab your drinks, no kind of service. At this point we were 15 min in. So, I went back to the table and waited another 5 or so minutes and we left. We got there about 7:50 pm and left around 8:20 pm. Yall need to work on your training your servers or hire people who actually want to work. Team work makes the dream work - just think 🤔 If all the servers helped everyone's table out from the time they are seated, drinks, informing the server a simple"hey you got a table and i got your drinks", help check on tables-because we all know that look on someone's face who is trying to get a servers attention for something simple, helping pre- buss tables because it helps turn tables faster which means more money....but hey the manager is probably going to just going to half way read this and reply with wtlith a canned apology with a link .

I was treated like criminal by the security after I get in at 1:52am believing the sign at the door OPEN TILL 2:00AM was true. I was looking for my spouso, he followed me demanding tomleave, when I said the sign was open till 2:00am he siad I DON'T CARE the door is closed. I was just going to meet my sopouse and I told him. When I found, I hugged and hes sarcastic said "oh you were looking for your spouse" because its same sex spouse he ridicularized me saying loud making fun and told my spouso ai had to leave because I was having attitude. I never felta racisly discriminated like this

Went with my girl for a nice night out and ended up stuck next to two females with kids scream n word and 6.7 cursing and mothers no better .. over heard that 1 of them works there and I guess went on her day off … manger must me a young inexperienced leader to allow a environment like that for paying customers.. security guard was to busy flirting with them instead of asking there obnoxious rude loud selfs to be respectful … one of worst experiences I’ve ever had eating out … Janye are waitress was only only employee with decency and respect for her job .. place was dirty tables were sticky employe doesn’t know how to clean a table used a wet musty rag

I have NEVER been to a facility that was horrible as this one. We arrived and was seated at dirty tables. The hostess severely wiped trash off table with the menu. We sat for a while 20 min before our waiter came. Somebody asked have we been helped. I hurried and said NO! Waiter came and got our drinks. At this point I was ready to walk out. Where we were seated was dirty. But my hubby wanted to give them a chance. Drinks came another 20 min. Waiter came and took our order. It took so long I just told him to bring our food to go. And get this…when leaving, nobody was there for us to pay!! Had we been crooks, we could’ve just walked out. They never would’ve noticed. But we spent about 10 minutes trying to follow someone to pay for our food!! I was livid. Never again at this location. I’m not from this town but I feel bad for the locals. This location need to be shut down. When I got back to where we were lodging, I was scared to eat the food!!

Ordered take out. Two out of three of the items we ordered were wrong. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich had NO ranch on it at all. It was super dry. I couldn’t even eat it. The broccoli chicken alfredo my friend ordered had NO chicken on it. What baffles me is these places want you to leave a tip which we did hoping they would get our food right. I am so tired of all these places asking for a tip then giving subpar service.

The one star is definitely for the curbside gentleman that brought me my food. Younger guy, polite and attentive. Other than that the food was horrible. The mashed potatoes were very bland as well as the green beans. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even eat it. The shrimp was rubbery. Very much so overcooked. I ended up seasoning the veggies and eating it alone. I’d like to say the garlic breadsticks I order was the best thing I actually ordered. My pick up time was 3:25pm. I called at 3:38 to notify them I have arrived. He told me “they are working on it” i didn’t get my food until after 3:40. So sad
