My first time here. Staff were very accommodating and help with recommendations. I went with the #4 for sandwiches. Deli meat on point 🔥 matzo soup was really good as well. Smoked salmon with bagel was amazing. Food was superb and service. Highly recommend trying. Will be coming back. Thank you
The good choices they have are great. Lots to choice from. I love coming here and getting the muffins and the beagles. Super fresh. The food is good very home made.
AWESOME PLACE! I was pretty blown away. Perfect diner food, excellent breakfast, and amazing prices. I got a great big breakfast that filled me up for $12. Insane.
We have eaten here several times about three times a year. We have tried some of their breakfast and lunch entrees. But, we order breakfast most of the time. Everything we have tried is very good and consistent. My wife loves their waffles. I have ordered the chicken fried steak several times and it's good. I like the consistency of the food. The service is mostly consistent and we enjoy the quaint atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and they have a small deli counter that offers food to go.
Cindi’s NY Deli has no business being this good. I walked in expecting a normal meal and instead got spiritually tackled by that sourdough rye. One bite and I was like, “Oh. So THIS is what happiness tastes like.” I’m not saying it changed my life, but I did stare into the middle distance for a solid 12 seconds rethinking every sandwich I’ve ever tolerated. The food? Fantastic. The service? Fast, friendly, and suspiciously competent....like they’ve been training for the deli Olympics and this is their moment. I swear they handed me my plate with the confidence of someone who knows I’m about to shut up mid‑chew. If you go, prepare yourself. That bread will make you emotional. You might start making promises you can’t keep. You might start planning your retirement around proximity to this deli. I don’t know your life.. ......I’m just saying it’s possible.
We love Cindi’s! It’s a great place to take friends because of the extensive and delicious menu options. My favorite is the beef stew with cornbread and I order a house salad with it. The dressings taste homemade. My mom loves the migas and matzo ball soup. We’ve tried many dishes here and have never been disappointed. Their bagels are freshly made and check out the bagel chips- they come in a large bag containing assorted flavors. They have a delicious flavored latte that will warm your soul. Service is excellent. If you go during peak times you might have to wait- but never very long. Parking can be tight for handicapped if it’s busy but there is no curb so it’s easy to get there from other spaces. The atmosphere is sort of like a dinner-nothing fancy but comfortable. Recommend.
Always love coming here, it is a family favorite for breakfast or lunch. The entire menu is really great from the baked goods to the amazing deli sandwiches you can’t go wrong. My favorites are the Ruben & the pancakes, the service is also incredible. No matter how busy it is there is never an issue with getting a table. The place is almost always packed and we never have to wait more than 5 mins.
Oh my goodness the matzah ball soup is amazing. We tried 3 varieties chicken barely, matzah ball and chicken noodle all were delicious but the Matzah ball was number one it was like evening healed from the inside out deliciousness. We also tried the club sandwich with potato salad, fabulous. Then dessert cheese cake, chocolate mousse, brownie and havlah such a great ending. Please note we took this to go to try at home well packed no leaks 😃and meals for 2 days. Thanks Cindi’s, we will be back.
This is the second time I’ve come here with my partner and I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re from the northeast. I’m from New Jersey and been here for a years and this is the only place I’ve ever been to that’s reminded me of home. The atmosphere is old but cozy and reminds you of a classic home town Jewish bakery/northern diner. The service is always 10/10. Friendly and very very quick, even when it was jam packed! Now the food. WOW. Their deli sandwiches are STACKED. They definitely don’t skimp at all, and the sauces and Cole slaw are fresh and delicious (and my partner HATES cole slaw but he loves the taste it adds to the sandwiches here). Their omelets are tasty, especially with added meat like pastrami. Hash browns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Corned beef hash is meaty and reminds me of growing up. The matsa ball soup is definitely recommended to try and their French fries are classic diner delicious. Now the bagels are probably the best I’ve had from anywhere in the south. If you’re from Jersey or NY you know the only good bagels are ours, but these guys actually make some good bagels for down south! Finally, their bakery area is amazing! Classic diner selection of delicious pies and cakes along with eclairs (8/10 great), brownies (easy 9/10), cookies (8/10 and huge), and the danishes (8.5/10 so delicious). If you haven’t been here, then you need to go here ASAP! Well worth the wait on a busy morning.
Great old-school deli and diner. Retro in all the right ways: quality meal, period-correct atmosphere, laid-back vibe. Each of the Cindi's locations meets all these qualifications, but this one is probably my favorite. Parking is quite a challenge sometimes — but once you're in, all will be well.
Went in on a whim and sure glad we did. Lots of locals sand very busy is always a good sign.. All employees seemed happy and greeted us with smiles and salutations. Breakfast was served all day so we opted for that. Both the wife and i got omelettes. (Create your own) They were HUGE, enough for two people. As sides i got biscuits and gravy and the wife got pancakes. We both loved our omelette and the wife says the pancakes were some of the best she's eaten. My biscuits and gravy were very good too. We found our breakfast diner for sure.. We lived this place. Prices were average but the did WAY above average. To top it off the have a very good bakery inside that time of people were coming in grabbing things and leaving while we ate. Highly recommended!
Had breakfast with my parents here for the first time yesterday and had an excellent experience! The server was patient with us, the food came out all at once, everything was hot, and tasted amazing! The cinnamon raisin bagel was perfectly cooked and fresh. I ordered cheese blintzes with strawberry preserves since I had t seen them on a menu in years, and they were perfect. There was just the right amount of filling and sweetness. We also had the Cindi’s omelet, migas, pancakes, and sausage patties. I tried a bite of everything because everything looked so good I wanted to taste it lol Our drinks were always full and we didn’t have to wait very long for anything. It did take us a minute to find a parking spot, there is plenty of parking but they were busy, so it was a good problem to have. We didn’t have to wait long as people came in and out, though.
We dined in for breakfast on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty crowded. There was plenty of parking though. My husband got the breakfast omelet with home fries. There were lots of green veggies in the omelet and it had a good flavor! I got two poached eggs with hashbrowns. I actually preferred the home fries over the hashbrowns as the hashbrowns not have much flavor. A little salt and pepper did help though. The everything whole wheat bagel was soft and chewy. The pancakes had good flavor. Our friend got a build your own omelet and was impressed a whole avocado came on top of it. Our waitress was very nice and provided great service. We felt the price for the amount of food was good. The menu is quite large and I will be back to try other items.
Came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. There were a lot of ppl, but it didn’t take long for us to be seated or to get our food. The portions are both large and satisfying! I ordered the Greek salad w/ chicken. Had the perfect amount of everything including chicken. Most places I order from always skimp out on the added protein. Both sandwiches were meaty and satisfying! I also got myself a cheese danish and apple turnover. It was a little heavy, so having just a few bites was satisfying. This is a great place to come when you have cravings and can’t decide on where to go eat. They have a big menu guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. This is also a great place to come and have a lunch alone or with others!

Waffle is great and crunchy, side of home fries and bacon (4 strips), and apple juice. The food arrives is 8 minutes or less. $20 and change.

Great place for deli sandwich, salad or breakfast. Pretty good service from staff. Great ambiance and plenty of table to accommodate big group.

Tasty eats in a nice setting. A varied menu consisting of deli classics and American fare. Very good bagels and bagel chips for sale. Take out deli foods available, too.

First time here and loved it! The corned beef and pastrami sandwich was wonderful and the lox and scrambled eggs were fantastic!!! Sandwiches were on the small-ish side for the money is my only complaint. Bagels are really good!
Had a 25 minute wait that went by fast, the place was very busy on a Sunday around noon. Service was okay, the server never offered refills of my families drinks. The place feels dated and could use a refresh to make it more up to date. The omlet was delicious and pancakes were a cut above most places. Loved the bakery set-up were you can see all the delicious desserts, We bought some desserts for later from the bakery. The We can't wait to come back with the rest of the family and try something different.

Real disappointed in this visit. The standards have really slipped. The coffee was burned and the service was very slow. You folks used to be the best. What happened?

Prices are on the high side. Granted, since Cindi's is not a kosher restaurant, the corned beef and pastrami are not kosher from the start. While they may prepare it NY deli style, it doesn't result in true NY texture and taste. This is not reflected in the high prices for it. I recently purchased a sizable amount of kosher (until it's sliced, of course) hard salami to go, at a hefty price per pound. What surprised me is that when I asked if I could get a pickle with that I could, but I had to pay for it. Not even a quarter of a pickle. The service was terrific though. It's their pricing and value that I'm addressing in this post.
Heading into Cindi's, I had high hopes. We ordered the Chorizo and Eggs and the Meat Knish. The Chorizo and Eggs came with tortillas and salsa, with hash browns on the side. The Chorizo with Eggs wasn't spectacular and I felt like I have had better ones at other restaurants/diners. The hash browns were good. Salsa was a little too mild for my liking. Tortillas were good. The Meat Knish was great. It was served with mustard sauce on the side but I preferred it without the mustard. Finally we had a slice of the Chocolate Mousse cake. It wasn't good. Extremely dry. Service was good but could have been better. The hostess would only turn up when there was something to be served. We did want to try a few more other items but without our hostess/waitress in sight, it was difficult and we decided not to order anything else. Whenever she did turn up, she was pleasant. Overall, just about ok. 3/5. ⭐⭐⭐

Food is always good and service is quick. However, the wait is forever and the place is dingy. Also, there is almost no parking so I ally go during off hours, never on the weekend!
Have been eating here for decades, but no more. 1. Classic example of server shaking head up and down and saying yes, then not bringing out what we ordered. Pastrami delivered not corned beef like ordered. Cup of chicken noodle soup brought not bowl like ordered. Mustard on side not put on sandwich like ordered. 2. Soup tasted like powdered mix, very little chicken, and not very hot. OK lunch, but not worth the money.

We walked into Cindy’s Deli expecting a friendly, sit-down breakfast, but the experience was anything but welcoming. The host told us it would be a 5- to 10-minute wait for a table — fair enough — but while we stood there waiting, multiple parties who arrived after us were seated immediately, no reservation required. When we were finally seated, things somehow got worse. We sat for over 10 minutes without a single greeting, or drink order. Servers walked by repeatedly, clearly noticing us, yet no one stopped to acknowledge that we even existed. After giving them every chance to make it right, we finally got up and walked out. If this is how Cindy’s Deli treats paying customers, it says a lot about their priorities. Unorganized, inattentive, and uninterested in customer service. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere — and recommending our friends do the same.
