Love the coffee here, it's one of our favorite coffee places with exciting coffee flavors and real glass cups to drink from! We really enjoy sitting outside with our coffee when it's a nice day.
For the order, we had: 1) Cuban 2) Pesto 3) Draft Brews ODD Muse No Label El Hefe The Food - 5 Stars: I would give more stars, if I could. That Cuban is hands down the best panini I have ever had. I don't know if it is the famous Pecan Lodge pulled pork or the stone ground mustard, but this is the perfect combination. We also tried the Pesto panini and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying the Stallone in our next visit. The Service - 5 Stars: Chase was perfect, providing recommendations and suggestions to help us out for our first visit. The Price - 4 Stars: ~$60 before tip. The price is reasonable considering the portion of this panini was huge! We could have easily split just one panini and have been full. The Vibes - 5 Stars: Deceptively large and spacious location. I read there is even opportunity to rent out the entire place for events. How awesome! Huge mural on the wall that is artistic and gives off a ruckus coffee bar vibe. I dug it! The surrounding location looks a lot different from the Red, Hot, & Blue + Dave and Buster days when I worked across the street. What a turnaround in just a few years. Overall, an easy 5 stars. We will be back!
Standard hangout coffee house. No expecting a 2 min coffee but also not 15 mins either. I spoke with the team here and learned their printers went down and our ticket was missed. I can understand that completely as I work at starbucks. Staff here very friendly and did give my kiddos stickers so I really appreciate that aspect. I didnt have any food but the coffee was amazing!!!! Chain was delish as well and im not much of a chai person. Def would return.
I really like the vibe of this cafe. They have good coffee (and cute latte art), simple food options and big enough inside sitting area where you can meet with friends, have a casual work meeting, take your laptop and work or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. I find it a little expensive though.
Went here to have a drink and read my book. There was a wide selection of beers, ciders, etc., as well as coffee. I had a cider and it was really good. Service was quick and the music in there was great too (jazz music, good for working). Very cool atmosphere, and I look forward to coming back soon!
I had the pesto sandwich and I was dining on the patio because the weather was so wonderful. I loved the service. They brought the food out to me. And chopped our sandwiches in half. I also had the ginger brew. In a for here glass. It was ok. I'd prefer more of the ginger taste. The price for two, just me and my daughter was $31 I wasn't expecting to pay that much and tip. Lots of people was sitting inside for a solo work/ homework vibe and I noticed a printer which is convenient. There is an ice cream place right next to it so after a meal if you still have room then dessert works.
This is the best coffee shop in Dallas. The staff is friendly, the coffee is phenomenal, the setting is perfect for just vibing with either your friends, yourself or getting some studying done and a large variety of beers and great food! They even have a printer for you to use!
I hate it when I forget to finish a review before I leave. I was so upset I quickly did the bare minimum before just to have placeholder. Let me try and remember this and share more details. This was my first time visiting and I loved the vibe of the place right out the gate. The decor, lay out and overall atmosphere checked all my coffee shop happy boxes and I felt good walking in, like “yeah, this is the spot. Let’s go” It was fairly full. It had a good amount of folks, laptops out most punching keys with different forms of headphones on. Some business interview meetings or work meetings dispersed through out. Everyone enjoying the beautiful sunny day with various beverages and foods between them. I love how the front wall of windows allows the natural sun light to flood the space. I walked to the register to start looking over the menus when I was greeted by a wonderful human being (insert her forgotten name here)😭. I explained it was my first time asked what should I try. I had been eyeing the menus. I had a short list and when (she who cannot be named) mentioned what she had for breakfast today, it was an immediate affirmation of where my heart was already leaning towards: The Avacado Swiss and sriracha mayo sandwich, add the turkey. Yup. The toasted bun was nice and crunchy from being toasted and that avocado and cheese with the turkey… 🤤 I took my pour over coffee (#3 dub harp bowl?), learned where the 1/2&1/2 was, then proceeded plop my earbuds in to join the other key punchers for the next 90 minutes jamming out. A lot of plugs and WiFi for 3 hours was perfect set up. That was one of the best coffees I’ve had in a really long while. The blueberry taste was a fantastic addition and I was honestly surprised I liked it as much as I did. Blueberry isn’t usually my thing. The sandwich was 😘🤌 So good I ordered another Togo to take for my wife. While that was cooking I had a lovely pint of the #24? 23?? 🤔🤷😮💨 Its been a long 24 hours and this is why I try to do my reviews right away. 🤣 Anyways, it was really tasty and another solid suggestion for desert before I left! I judge a lot of places by what their staff recommends when asked. If you can’t tell your customs what you like to eat at your own place of work, then I question if you eat there at all? Don’t you like to eat your own food? Then I’m like, “Is it because it’s nasty in the kitchen or just bad food? Do they know something I don’t? Is it both?!?” None of these things however popped up and everyone had the kind of genuine friendly custom service that builds relationships and return business, which I really appreciate in whatever establishment I find myself in. All three of the staff were extremely friendly and very pleasant to spend the morning with. I feel horrible only remembering JoJo’s name who helped with my to-go(go). I did honestly find it amusing when I realized why my 45 year old brain remembered her name when I really thought about it. I blame the power puff girls. The whole experienced just elevated my already awesome start to the day and made me happier. Thank you! I wish i worked closer. I look forward to the guilty pleasure of those rare times where availability and proximity align, allowing to stop for future visits. Ps. I wish the Freda picture was local art for sale. I legit looked for a for sale sign on the wall. My wife would have loved it, it would go so well in our living room! Now the hunt begins! I’ll update my review with proper names to give credit where credit is due. My shamefully poor memory is no excuse for not leaving a more detailed review I felt however. This is going to bug me all week until we come back out. Was it Harlow? Uggg.
One of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever enjoyed in Dallas. They are the only coffee shop I’ve visited in Dallas that has an anaerobic honey process, single origin coffee on drip! Fellow coffee snobs won’t want to miss this cup of subtlety sweet & chocolatey Costa Rican liquid goodness!
Discovered this place bc it was one of the few places that opened during the snow storm. Customer service was good and loved the food/drink options (highly rec matcha latte made w oat milk and the pesto panini sandwich) as combined together, was worth the price. The ambient was also really cute as it’s a good place to study, hangout, or act as a date location. UPDATE as of 5/27/25 ———- Came back here bc we missed the pesto chicken panini, which was still delicious as ever. However, I discovered the turkey panini and I think that one tastes even better. And again, matcha latte was yummy and the servers were still very nice.
Came here for breakfast and coffee early in the morning the ambience was very classy and nice. Lots of people were working or busy studying or having meetings. The menu had lots of amazing options. We ended up ordering avocado, toast, and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was delicious we tried the baklava latte and a cappuccino with oat milk. Will definitely be back!
Excellent spot for upper or downer. Variety of beers on tap with many variable serving sizes including flights. We enjoyed many beers off more than 20 different varieties and unique coffee mixtures. Calm vibe and clean facility. Great place to come work, do your school work, or read a book. Outdoor seating available. Excellent service and prices. Keep it up!
First time visiting for a study session and the beer+food was so good! I ordered the go Cuban sandwich and one of their ciders and both of them were amazing. They do have a 3hr limit on their wifi but enjoyed working there those 3 hrs (not sure if you can restart a new session but I didn’t try it). Some of the tables weren’t close to outlets but others were. I will be back because I really enjoyed the environment! Definitely something different from a coffee place.
Civil pour is by far my favorite coffee shop in Dallas. I moved here two years ago and visit civil pour almost daily while studying for school. Every employee is so nice and knows me by name. The coffee, matcha, and beer is high quality and is perfect every time. If you want a great study spot and place to visit with friends, civil pour is the way to go.
Nice coffee shop. They have excellent sandwiches too. Employees are friendly and helpful. The tables are clean and place is well managed. But of course, the most important thing in a coffee shop is the coffee and sandwiches, and I was not disappointed. The coffee was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. The sandwiches were also delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and interesting flavor combinations. Overall, I was extremely impressed with my experience at this coffee shop. From the cleanliness to the helpful staff and delicious food and drinks, it's a great place to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. I'll definitely be returning in the future.
Great coffee and great location. But I wish the space was cozier with nice, comfy seating. The inside feels a little clinical, so I enjoyed my coffee on the outdoor patio.
Cute, open space with good coffee, but the beer… Definitely alcoholic and decent flavor but no depth. It seems they have a wide variety of beer flavored water. It’s not horrible, it just isn’t craft-worthy. They’ve been around for about 5 years. Let’s hope they spend more time developing full-bodied boldness. Side note: The scones were great, but the panini was a flat grilled cheese. Still good taste though.
