Vibes, vibes, vibes. Loved the place, music and food. As a teetotaller, was never fond of bars. But the food, music and DJ were totally worth it. Definitely a must try place opened recently in Dallas. Vegetarian options are plenty.

I believe this used to be the seafood/mariscos place (which I’m so sad business didn’t last long for them!) but they’re now selling tortas, quesadillas and tacos. I usually come here for lengua tacos — they’re the perfect portion and size and not very heavy or greasy! I love the radishes. I wish more taquerias include radish with tacos. I had my first nopale quesadilla here and was also really good I thought!

For the main course, I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was rich, creamy, and packed with a perfect blend of spices. The Garlic Naan complemented it beautifully, soft and slightly charred from the tandoor oven. The service was attentive, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The menu offered a great variety, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and everything arrived at the table promptly and at the perfect temperature. If I had to point out one downside, the prices were a bit on the higher end, but considering the quality of the food and the experience, it was worth it. All in all, Tandoor Indian Place is a great spot for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes on the menu!

This is a new restaurant in North Dallas that is definitely worth your time. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers, which were seasoned to perfection. The rice on the side was cooked to perfection, and the side of veggies were...a side of veggies. Lol. We got the calamari, which I believe was battered with their house-made beer batter, and they were delicious! The dipping sauce with them was spicy and tasty. We also ordered the oysters with shrimp, mozzarella and spicy sauce, and they were so decadent we couldn’t finish them all. I can’t wait to go back and try more things. They’re working on a liquor license, so for now, it’s BYOB, but I’ve already told friends about this place. All of the food was reasonably priced as well, especially for the quality.

The food and service here were good! They brought out chicharrones de harina while we were looking at the menus, and those were yummy. I enjoyed my quesadilla tinga de pollo. And of course, I had to spring for horchata! Good all around. I think we visited before their normal “busy hours,” which was nice so that it wasn’t loud or packed during our meal.

When we complained about one dish (corn fry), they did make an effort to adjust it to a lower spice level, which we appreciated. However, the rest of the dishes remained overly spicy and unbearable for our taste. To add to the disappointment, I ordered the chicken 65 biryani, which was simply chicken 65 mixed with basmati rice. It lacked the depth of flavor and quality expected from a proper biryani, making it the worst biryani I’ve ever had. I hope the management takes these points seriously to improve their food quality and overall service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend dining here.

Dal makhani came stale, probably from yesterday, left over from the refrigerator, which they warmed up and served to us. In the name of biryani, these people put chicke/mutton/panner in jira rice (DO NOT ORDER BIRYANI). Panner tikka masala curry was bad. Dahi puri was bad. Good items: Hara bhara kebab and chicken tikka kabab, breads. If the world is ending and you can not find food anywhere else, then only go here else avoid!!
