Opinions de Wayward Coffee Co. Dallas
Best coffee in Dallas. Have literally had espresso from every single coffee shop in DFW and this one is the winner. Thoughtfully designed spaces (both Design and Davis St.), cozy vibes, super sweet people, and stellar coffee sourced from excellent roasters. Caps are great, americanos are great, espresso is great, matcha is great, winter cider is great (…I could go on). Consistently good. If you want good coffee and the best vibes go here.
One of the best coffee shops in Dallas. Consistently good espresso drinks, friendly and knowledgeable baristas and laid back atmosphere. You can bring your dog in, but only for takeaway, which makes for a good consistent policy.
I was recommended to try this place out by my service advisor and it was worth it! Definitely a good place to go to study or get some work done! Just about everyone was doing exactly that, so if you’re needing a new place, a place to add into your rotation, or just to enjoy a really good coffee/latte.
Great little spot in Bishop Arts to study, read or catch up with a friend! Staff is very friendly and drinks were high quality and full of flavor! Customers seem to be friendly too when I needed a spot to sit someone offered me to share their table! :) I loved their chai! Will definitely be back!
Great coffee. Go early since pastries are often gone by PM
best coffee shop in Dallas it's so cute and nice to be at love visiting wayward on a sunday, it's so nice to sit in here and the coffee taste great! the A24 specialty menu is so fun. some of the seating is a little less comfy for me, but I think they are expanding soon, which will be nice. some vegan pastries would be awesome.
Truly a 5-star coffee shop. The coffee is the, IMHO, best in Bishop Arts. The baristas are the nicest people and the atmosphere is great!
Great rotating selection of coffee. Love the pour overs and the espresso drinks. Great tea options as well.
Stopped by Wayward Coffee and tried a hot chai latte with almond milk it was very tasty and perfectly balanced. The space is cozy and the menu has some really interesting seasonal drinks. Next time I come in I’m definitely going to try one of the seasonal options. Great spot if you’re in the area and looking for quality coffee.
Outstanding coffee! I always try a cortado or macchiato first so the coffee isn’t drowned out by flavors, then I’ll try their specialities. Frequently, I taste the sour or bitter espresso and never return. This Wayward cortado, however, rivals the best I’ve had, even in Italy. After enjoying the cortado, I tried the Gold Rush because of the hype, and it was also good, not overly sweet. This location is worth your time!
Great coffee shop with private booths to study (especially if you're a future therapist needing to concentrate on hard materials). LOL. Great espresso (strong and dark, just the way I like it).
Amazing vibes at this coffee shop!! Lots of seating and cozy nooks. There’s free parking out front. The coffee was incredible and the specialty menu was full of yummy drinks.
I just had my first visit to this fantastic coffee spot, and wow, am I thrilled I decided to stop in! I ordered the gold rush and lavender latte, which was absolutely delectable! The vibe in the place is fantastic, and the staff couldn't be more friendly. I can't recommend it enough. Definitely check it out! ☕️✨
First visit and the baristas at the counter were super informative and made a great first impression. He took the time to find out what kind of coffee I drink at home and what kind of beans I enjoy, he was able to make suggestions based on my answers to his questions. My friend picked up a 2% vanilla latte and I had a popular drink that tasted like a cinnamon roll. We cut the syrups in half and the drink was absolutely amazing. The vibe of the coffee house was chill and understated. Definitely will be back. This was an amazing experience.
I loved this place! It was pretty chill and the perfect atmosphere for me to do my homework. They had such cute spots to sit and everything was great. The bathroom was clean and they even had tampons/pads for free for anyone to grab which was nice. The bathroom also had a baby changing station and cool artwork on the walls.
Great little coffee shop. And they even made a “Baby Chino” for my grand! Great attitude. Barista knows how to make the magnificent machine do it’s thing. The atmosphere was amiable and welcoming. Folks chatting and building relationships. A great find. And they offer visiting coffee roasters each month. Hey Coffee Roasters of Texas- get on the list! Different table/seating arrangement in Wayward. Seems like it allows for less community and more one on one. Names on take away coffees would be helpful. I love this place!
Local coffee shop with its own classy attitude. Espresso machines are dialed and baristas are knowledable about where the beans came from and flavors. Love this spot passes the macchiatot test with flying colors. Alex the macchiato guy was here and approves.
First time trying out this coffee spot, and I must say I'm glad I stopped by. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was so delicious! The atmosphere is great, the employees are courteous. I highly recommend ☕️
Walked in here on a whim since my boyfriend was getting his haircut across the street and I was craving an iced chai. Super glad I did! Delicious iced chai with almond milk. Great service. Super quick. Awesome atmosphere. No complaints! Definitely going to be a go to spot for their iced chai. Can’t wait to try their other items.
Was killing time while waiting for my tattoo appointment and saw this beauty! Great coffee shop with beautiful latte art. The taste of coffee was very good! The store isn't big, but it's a popular spot! Latte art makes things better. ✨️
Amazing experience! Cody ( barista) is the bomb! The ambiance is great ! Soft relaxing music not too loud great place to get plugged in and do some iPad work! The prices are a bit high however about the same as Starbucks and much better products and service! Parking can be a challenge during busy hours ….. just be creative lol I’m not sure about their coffee as I’m an herbal & green tea person! My matcha latte with oat milk was totally awesome! Much better than anywhere I’ve had it! Even do the most awesome designs! Wow 😮

I love this coffee shop and enjoy the atmosphere. The baristas are always great and welcoming. I go in so often that they remember my name and my order. I love what you guys are doing here. Do not change a thing!!! Oak Cliff, born and raised!!!
Just walked in to get a vanilla oatmilk latte, it was my first time & upon walking in it felt such comfy & I wanted to pull out my laptop to study though I had to go. The food was great, highly recommend and the coffee is what forced me to write this review, if you’re looking for good coffee & food, come here!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wayward Coffee Co offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for coffee lovers. Known for its expertly brewed coffee, the shop serves a variety of high-quality brews, from classic espresso drinks to unique seasonal specials. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the perfect drink to suit your taste.
The best neighborhood coffee shop in Bishop Arts, in my opinion. The staff is great, drinks are best around, and the atmosphere is just right. Good for going solo or bringing along the kiddos. Can’t recommend enough.
Picked this place to stop at on the way out of Dallas and it did not disappoint. Wasn't too loud, they were friendly and the cold brew was good. My only gripe is that I ordered two different drinks and they did not label either and I never enjoy the game of Russian roulette to determine which one is which.

The coffee is great better than most in this area, their prices are great for the area, and the vibes are a solid 8/10 if your coming to have a chat with a friend or read a book it’s amazing. On the other hand as a college student I like to watch lectures and the internet is just to slow for my liking. If you don’t plan on using your laptop a lot I highly recommend otherwise I recommend going elsewhere.
The cashier seemed bothered that I walked in to get coffee but the barista was nice and friendly
Being from Washington, coffee is a culture, this place gets it. From the community work spaces, the plants & greenery, variety, to the overall vibe, this place is great. Bible study, working out of office, friends in town, this is the place to go! Chefs kiss.
Very comfortable vibes to sit in. I've noticed many coffee shops have all-white modern style with led lights which makes it so uncomfortable to work in. This coffee shop has a very comfortable vibe with many options for seating, friendly workers, and good coffee. I got a latte, basic but yummy. I definately plan to come back and try something new.

Great rustic atmosphere with an outdoorsy boutique dedicated to handmade goods- attached to its coffee shop. Lupe made me the perfect raspberry matcha latte, a cheerful lift after having a broken AC all week. Small but really chill place.
Let me start by saying, I love coming here because it’s down the street from me but yesterday I had a bad experience with one of the baristas. I had never seen her before maybe she’s new or maybe I come when she’s not here but usually when the male baristas are there, they greet me very friendly & welcoming and they also make my coffee perfect. I can’t say the same for this barista that was there yesterday, I felt like she didn’t want to help me but I didn’t mind. I ordered my regular coffee & she gave me a price, I said great (I pay with cash) as I’m counting I forget to mention I want light ice & she proceeds to tell me they UPCHARGE for light ice so I’m like ok ok that’s fine… well this woman hands me my coffee and it’s literally all milk with a splash of espresso…. I was embarrassed to say anything since there was a long line but never again.
This place has a lot of potential but something felt off about the place. The coffee shop staff was friendly but lacks diversity and so do the customers, for a neighborhood that has been mainly people of color. I felt a bit uncomfortable while being there,as if I was foreigner to the neighborhood. I hope to give it another shot in the future hopefully the vibes change
Was doordashing...it got slow. I saw Wayward I automatically thought OMG Supernatural...So I made a Uturn an parked. Went in an nothing Supernatural related. But I looked around an loved the energy an the layed back feeling. Went in the 2nd room an saw all the western items. I fell in love with everything. Next time Im down in the Dallas area Ill stop in again.
It's cool. Nice vibe! Very busy! I felt rushed and my drink wasn't all that. There wasn't anywhere to sit when we dropped by, so we walked and looked around in the small shop attached to the coffee shop. It's great for the people who live in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. There are so many other options!
Ordered a traditional macchiato on Sunday around 11am and got what looked like a flat shot of espresso. When I brought it back, the male barista insisted it was a macchiato because he added “🤏 this much milk.” Respectfully: a traditional macchiato is espresso “marked” with a dollop of milk foam. What I got was a sad, flat splash situation—closer to a half-assed cortado than a macchiato. Latte was great though!
The vibes are fine at this location, it is smaller than the design district location though. And the middle booths don’t have outlets so the number of tables does down if you are working on a laptop. Now their drinks are far from good. The espresso/ americano drinks are awful. Their matcha has a whisper of actual matcha the rest will be water and a bit of milk. Also they charge for alternative milks, which I never understood bc im not getting additional milk but whatever. $10 for the match and alternative milk btw.
The place had a number of customers, but I can't say the atmosphere was the greatest. The booths were a bit beat up and worn. Decor was focused on the walls with posters, shelves, and a handful of plants. I was pleasantly surprised that they had coffee from Cat & Cloud. But overall, the experience was kind of mid.
