Excellent service amazing food

Best mexican food I've had. Sadly no adult drinks but the food is still great. Looking for great food . You have to come here

My go to place for great Mexican food. Been a fan since 87. Hard to say what's good, but the pozole, shredded beef chimi , n chilli Verde are my go to. Dessert best fried ice cream IMO.

This is now our go to spot to get dinner as we leave Bakersfield. The food is good and inexpensive. It’s easy to get on and off the freeway.

Were traveling on the 99 from Cambria and after looking at all the reviews about Jenny's we decided to stop for mexican breakfast. Glad we did! Authentic Mexican food. The ropa vieja and my eggs were made to perfection . This place is very clean and friendly. Highly recommend.

This is a Delano staple. It reminds me of the old Carmen's (80‐90s Delano people know) and the old Zarape- my grandma's restaurant ( 70-80's), where families came together to enjoy a good meal, socialize, and see fellow community members. It's home. Stop in and try the chile verde dip to start with and then any favorite entojo after that..

First time eating here and I have to say the food was delicious I had chilaquiles with egg, not to mention the service was on point as well definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful Mexican meal with my family. Great value, friendly service, delicious food. They did not serve alcohol.

We came from Riverside CA to visit family. We were all hungry so we stopped here for lunch. OMG THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!!! WE WILL BE COMING BACK TO VISIT AGAIN 😁

Newly remodeled, Fantastic food and very friendly service. We had the chance to talk with the grand children that are in charge of the restaurant, just a truly wonderful time. Try the chili rellino.

Perfect spot for lunch. Lunch specials are reasonable. I had the flautas and a buddy of mine had the carnitas. Also try the flour tortilla chips.

Try the Jennys Breakfast Burrito. It is a lot but yummy. Plus I always give an extra ESTRELLA when they server me chips and salsa even during breakfast

Menudo is awesome. It's right next to the freeway so if your trying to get a great home style cooked meal Jenny's would be a good a selection. Customer service is good.

Depending on the cook at the time the food is prepared, the food is good. The customer service is ok, the waitresses are okay, but they seem to loose interest in their customers. They don't come around as much to how your doing once served. I still like going there, it's just okay.

The food was delicious and a bit enough Putin size to satisfy your belly. I was also impressed that the owner sells very cute mid to high end purses, wallets and keychains. The only minor annoyance is that after we got our food the waitress never came back to our table to see if we need refills or if we need any thing else period. We had to continually get up to ask for refills. That can be a major turn off to some people.

I was surprised by the name. I expected an American cafe but turns out it's a Mexican dinner. The food was delicious even though most the tables were dirty. We walked I'm late though so it was after the dinner rush no doubt. It was a good place to stop. Would go again.

Had a chile verde omelet! Really good I wasn't even hungry but I ate it all. Service was good, except the girl forgot my guac, and they don't sell beer. Other than that food was great and service was pretty fast!

Clean and friendly. The food was pretty good. The coffee needs improvement. Filtered water would be nice as well.

The food is ok. They serve store bought tortillas. The sopes are made with mozarella cheese instead of mexican dry cheese . Definitely dissapointed

Nice place. Food is not what I'm used to in Northern California, but they have an e,tensile menu and got their program locked down. Kitchen was clean, you can see the cooks getting down from the dining room. Service was veeeeery slow on my visit but that's anecdotal.

The service was quick, the food was pretty good and the mood was very cheery but also calm. I recommend going here, I've only called and ordered once and the food was excellent.

Seat yourself on a crowded lunch hour with a Walker is nearly impossible. Food is bland chip are okay. Waitresses nice once they find you.

Pozole here is so darn good. I get it every time I come here. I heard other people say that the rest of their good is equally as good. I give it only 3 stars because of the waiting time. Their service is very, very, very slow. You can't come here if you only have a 30 minute lunch. It's a small place which makes it difficult to understand why they are to slow each and every time, where is to eat there or to pick up a phone order.

Food was marginal. The owner had passed away. Guess they have new cooks. I had Huevos Rancheros. The sauce was watered down. Not very many beans. Not very many potatoes. Could have been a lot better. The chips and salsa were good. Very disappointed in the food. The staff was great.

First thing I don't like to put negative reviews unless they completely deserve it. Just putting that out there. Ok so I went to this place Im not from the area. Just looked up Mexican restaurants in Delano this place looked good so lets try it out. Walked in sign there sit yourself ok fine no problem didn't get a hello,welcome, etc. Again no problem it happens. Waitress didn't say hi,welcome,etc. Just can I get you something to drink again its ok no problem. Was quick to get my order that was ok. But after I got my food I ran out of chips and salsa just dropped off my food and left sorry but its standard to ask customers if they would like more even if you might charger more you still need to ask. This is when I started noticing both servers wouldn't check on me at all.I noticed every table would be getting checked on. I put my glass on the edge on my booth but never got a refilled.I felted that I was the problem if I had something wrong to be there like i was nueces to them.Never in my life had I felt that way. I lost my appetite reason I gave them 2 stars the food was good. But i still gave a tip I can't not leave a tip i feel dirty if I don't.

Service is unorganized. Unable to be seated in reasonable time because empty tables were not cleaned. Free for all to get table. Menudo was less than acceptable. Serving service was real slow. Prices arr too high for quality of food.

Idk why there website says they close Sunday’s at 5pm ?? When they close whenever they want to , i went at 3:30 and was closed , I went two days ago the same thing happened it was 2pm and they said “ we are closed “ like why don’t you give the exact hours ,

Menudo was rubbery, tortillas microwaved and unimpressive, the first waitress had a bad attitude, they had no milk for coffee.

I have had bring service at a run down Dennys. Our server was not very nice and forgot how I wanted my order. Took a long time to get our order taken. Pruces were fair. Pancakes 🥞 were decent.

0 Stars really. Worst burrito ever like ever. I had better burritos in Iceland then this place. Ordered a super burrito only to find beans, rice and chicken in it . What happened to cheese, avacado, veggies . Sour cream. Coke was probably the best thing they had.

Came to try Jenny's by recommendation, we were sat down immediately our drinks took about 15 minutes & our food order 10 minutes later. Have been waiting a little over an hour for our food & the mid-morning rush has been dying down & ha e yet to receive our food. I think this is the last time I'll come here. We stopped in for breakfast while visiting the town of Delano. The service was mediocre and so was the food. By the time we were served the food was lukewarm but we didn't want to return it because it took too long to get it in the first place. The salsa and chips was the best part of the breakfast.

First off horrible customer service, rude waitresses. They don't come to refill your drinks and the food is not very good. They sell jewelery and bags as well. Like are you a store or a restaurant. The menu is organized in such an odd way with advertising of companies on each page. Very tacky indeed. Don't go here with high expectations.

Googled menudo in Delano Jenny’s popped up, put directions as it says they were open, when I arrived they were closed! 🤦🏽‍♀️ even they’re recording says they are open . Any way came somewhere else and after reading the reviews I think we saved our self a headache!

Very poor device. No smiles from the servers almost mad we were there eating! Asked for some more tortillas and was told no the oven is off now! Are u serious! Im paying for food that has tortillas but can't have more! Put them on a flat grill, put them on a burner, give them to me cold but straight up No is not ok! Will never be back!

We chose Jenny's because of other people's high ratings, however it was beyond a huge let down. Taco Bell would have been a better choice for flavor and service. This was anything but good Mexican food. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
