GanZo Sushi

Excellent food, excellent location, excellent service, excellent experience all around. First time at this restaurant. Had a great time. The lady at the bar took care of us, even though we were seated on a table. Very nice lady. Great attitude. Super friendly. Helped us out with the menu. We really don't have much experience with Sushi, but she took her time to assist us. Definitely will be back. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.

We have been to Ganzo twice and were very pleased with the food, atmosphere and service both times. All of the food was presented well, was fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive so we never had to ask for the table to be cleared or drinks to be refilled. Whether you sit inside or outside, you can't go wrong at Ganzo.

Greeted by the door and offered outside sitting. We end up at a requested booth. We highly recommend this place because of the staff, food, and atmosphere. We suggest you get the cucumber roll called the KJ. We also suggest getting the Nemo Roll by far the best roll we have had. You won't be disappointed if you start with those two rolls. Bathrooms are clean and the staff are really friendly. Unfortunately they are wearing mask which takes away from their charming and helpful personalities. Bottom line A for staff A+ for food B for atmosphere A enjoyable experience that we will be come back for.

One of the best Asian eateries in Delray Beach. Same owner as Lemongrass in Mizner Park so expect the food to be quality. I've been here 3 times and it's always on point. From the service, and cocktails to the food, they make sure that their customers are happy. That's why they're always packed. My favorite tapas are the Lava Stone Wagyu, Nana's Wings KFC and al the Baos especially the Softshell Crab. Everything is absolutely delish and perfect for sharing. Also, the Yellowtail Jalapenos are to die for. Super fresh and very tasty. As for Sushi, I always get the Surf N Turf Roll and the Lobster Bomb Roll. OMG. Both are highly addictive. If you don't like sushi then try one of their Ramen bowls or the This Style Sweet Chili Fish. Trust me, you won't be disappointed at any of their dishes. For dessert, must try the Japanese Cheesecake or the Chocolate Lava with Green Tea Ice Cream. Either one will satisfy your tummy. Love this place. Also, there's plenty of parking. Plus there's a big movie theater beside it called Paragon. This is the perfect spot for a date or nightout with family.

Next to movie theater in newer shopping center. Bartender was also my waitress. Spoke to her in Japanese. She recommended things that were perfect for time, taste and price. To my dismay, she revealed that she was Thai not Japanese. I did thank her with the traditional Khopkhun. A nice word I learned while serving in VietNam rather than Japan.

What I love about this restaurant is has Korean, Japanese, and Thai dishes, and they are all amazing! Usually when a restaurant does a lot of different foods, they generally have one that is the star, but not here, they are all amazing! The Korean Ribs appetizer is one of the best BBQ sauces I've ever had. Sweet, salty, savory, and absolutely delicious! The Chicken Thai Red Curry is super favorable, and the chicken is not those little thinly sliced, over-cooked pieces of chicken you get in most Thai dishes, it is larger pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked, very tender and juicy. The sushi is on point. Well balanced rolls that accent the fish and not the rice. This time we had Pam as our waitress who was super attentive, very friendly, and did a great job!

Saw this place for years and finally decided to try it a couple of weeks ago. The happy hour menu is awesome and everyday including weekends. They had quite a few vegetarian options including vegan ramen, edamame, and avocado rolls! All of which are really good. Overall highly recommended! 🥑🍜

Nice decor inside. Good service. Great food. The “Green Dragon Roll” was fresh and tasty. The “Hibachi Fried Rice’ that my wife had was sinfully good with lots of nice vegetables like mushrooms, carrots and bok choy. Also ordered the ‘Wok Charred Edamame’, which I thought that I’d end up packing away since I ordered it after my sushi but my wife started to help eat it and it was so tasty that we finished it all! 😳 I noticed that they have happy hour daily from 3-6pm. The specials for happy hour seems to have a decent list of food and drink options. Will have to come back to try some more dishes when I get the chance.

Ganzo Sushi in Delray is an absolute gem for sushi lovers! The freshness and flavor of every roll we tried were outstanding. The Dynamite Roll, Volcano Roll, and Eel Roll were simply to die for, beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. We finished off our meal with an Espresso Martini, which was the perfect way to end such an amazing dining experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top notch sushi and a great atmosphere!

Hence down some of the best Ramen I have ever had. I grew up in Hawaii so Ramen was a common dish in our household. Both the Gyozas and Ramen were excellent. Very much looking forward to my next visit. Further, nice restaurant and staff were great. 10/10

First place on the right as you enter the traffic circle in the DelRay market. Indoor and outdoor seating and busy in season at the normal times. Nice variety of interesting menu selections and bear in mind the prep time for fresh food. If you have special needs, ask for Julia. Acres of parking 100 yards away.

I absolutely love Ganzo's sushi! Thanks to them, I discovered rice paper rolls instead of rice, and it's been a game-changer for me. The rice paper option really lets the flavor of the tuna shine without the rice overpowering it. I also appreciate the cucumber-wrapped rolls for a lighter alternative. I've tried a variety of vegan menu items and have enjoyed them all. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is always fresh and they have a nice variety of menu options to choose from including sushi, cooked meals, soups, and more.

Today was the first time Ganzo offered a sushi class. At first, I was not sure if this was for me. I gave it a tried and loved it. If you want to find a new hobby and meeging new friends. This even is perfect for you. Class started at 1 pm and I had so much fun talking to new friends and left at almost 5 pm.

I had great sashmi and sushi here. It was really good. Order the simple, non-overly Americanised maki where you can actually taste the fish and you will not be disappointed

The absolute best Asian food I have had in Florida. Our experience was extra special because our service by Julia was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our dinner special and has the most excellent customer service which is very hard to find. We will definitely make this an official restaurant on our list to visit often. Happy hour is also great. Thanks so much ❤️

Our first time here! We ordered the Bento boxes and it was perfect for our afternoon lunch. Great price and a lot of food. Matty was our waitress. She was super friendly and attentive. She displayed exceptional customer service! We will definitely be making this a normal lunch spot!

Pammy the bartender is amazing Constantly making sure your drink is fresh and checking up on her customers. Has a great personality. I highly recommend sitting at the bar. They have plenty of seating indoors and outside. The food was good. Ill be back and I highly recommend

I keep coming back to Ganzo. A lot of variety on the menu with unique options that help it stand out. Hot entrees and tapas are well executed and aren't an after thought like at a lot of other sushi restaurants. Located next to a movie theater and shopping making it a great date spot.

The food delish. Wonton soup had so much flavor. Our party enjoyed the crispy duck, ahi tuna pizza, chicken pad Thai, and a few other items. Definitely will be back often. Only the noise level is a bit loud. There is outdoor seating. Maybe do that next time, not as loud. Plenty of parking in back lot.

We ordered through Uber Eats and initially received everything in good condition. We started with miso soup and gyoza with lobster and shrimp, both of which were excellent. For our entrees, we ordered the "Over the Moon Roll" and the "Super Spider Roll." Given their names and prices, we expected them to be delicious, but we were extremely disappointed with one of them. The "super spider roll" was particularly disappointing. The topping on the roll was terrible , and the "crab" inside was fried with so much panko that we couldn't see or taste the meat. It was inedible. I would like to request a refund for this roll. Thankfully, the other roll, (over the moon) was great. Overall, the experience was mixed, with one dish being enjoyable and the other quite disappointing.

First. Great sushi. Fresh. Char edamame is VERY spicy. Lots of busy workers, but service is spotty. Paid extra for plate sharing ($1 per plate) but still had to ask for plates, chopsticks, etc. Not all servers returned to table. Still, food was good.

*Update* - Went for Dinner during happy hour with my wife. Service was a completely different experience from before. Apps came before drinks or water? This crab roll with mush is just terrible, I don’t know why I tried it again. An impressive showcase of japanese cuisine, not only doing traditional staples but also high end options for advanced sushi diners. Visiting for lunch, my son and I decided to explore more of Delray Marketplace and try GanZo. It’s masterfully decorated inside, and the food matches its quality. I enjoyed an ice cold Sapporo Light, and we started off with the Lobster Shrimp Gyoza pan fried (5pcs.) - excellent crisp, def made in-house and with tender care. My son opted to go with the classic, California Roll, just substitute for salmon. Meanwhile I tried the Tsunami Roll which lured me in because of the blue crab topping. His was perfect, mine visually didn’t match up - as I thought it would be more of lump crab meat vs the pureed mush version. Although it was good, I’m more inclined to try the omakase and main dishes next time - Korean braised short ribs, I got my eye on you!! Not pictured is we shared a chicken fried rice. Nice large portion, big cubes of grilled chicken on top with a fresh combo of edamame, onions, scallions, egg and carrots. I will def be getting this again. Lastly, we managed to save enough room for dessert and ordered the Japanese Cheesecake. Light, surly and airy - it’s topped with fresh strawberry purée and few blackberries and whipped cream. Very good cold rendition. This seems like a great date night spot, they have a good variety of bento box lunch specials too. This place needs at least 2-3 visits to explore the menu.

Overall we enjoyed our meal here. Stir fry and rolls were good. Nothing to write home about though. Flies were a nuisance inside. We were swatting them away the entire time and that made it pretty unpleasant while trying to dine. Would try again but fly issue needs to be addressed.

Our first visit. Opas was our server. He was very friendly and he was helpful explaining dishes and offerings suggestions. Masks are worn.They have plenty of outside dining. We went for lunch and is was so nice and relaxing. We started with the Gyoza with pork Delicious! We had the Ramen Combo with grilled chicken, 2 Gyoza, salad, 4 pieces of California roll. Wow! Kitchen Bento with mise soup, salad, spring roll and shrimp pad Thai. Amazing! We really had a great lunch. We will definitely go back🥢🥢🥢🥢

I would really like to rate this place 4 1/2 stars. The service was lovely and the sashimi was absolutely delicious. I had a nice salad with carrot ginger dressing and my husband enjoyed the hot and sour soup. This is my only problem with this restaurant: they close at 9 PM which I have absolutely no problem with, but if you have guests that you have welcomed into your restaurant and your goal is to serve them dinner and drinks and have your staff paid for their service, the restaurant needs to have an executive meeting with the kitchen stating that they are not to close until current guests are finished eating. My husband had put his order in before 9 PM and they did not, for some reason, get the ticket and so they refused to make his dinner. My meal was ordered after his meal and the waitress quickly went into the kitchen and brought out my Ramen but it was not hot enough. Of course she offered to heat it up and she got my husband some hot and sour soup but that is not what he wanted for dinner, as good as it was. She offered to make it right because she knew that this is the way this restaurant operates and that it is wrong to treat your guests this way, but we are not people to take advantage. We told her that we absolutely insisted on paying for at least something so that we could tip her as this was not her fault but we did share with her our opinion and hopefully it will be conveyed to management. Other than that, we do recommend this restaurant and we will return.

We had a party of 4 for lunch and we went at 1 pm. I want to crowded and the wait staff were respectful and quick to respond Our wait staff was wonderful she helped me order a safe meal that I could eat safely as a celiac. I didn’t get crossed contaminated and that’s great. I had sushi and vegan ramen. They were both tasty want the ramen was served hot, as it should be. My partner had the bento box and he said it was also.

Cool A/C inside and pretty outside with fans and accomodations made for us by putting the shades down as it was really as sunny. Great food and loads of choices with a great waiter who was always there but never hovering. Made for a great experience. We had sushi, bai buns, gyozo and bento boxes. All fresh and good 👍

It was ok. We placed a reservation online and asked for indoor seating and confirmed indoor seating when we arrived. But after having to wait 20 minutes despite arriving on time for our reservation, when we were given outdoor seating, we just took it because we were hungry and just wanted to be seated. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was under whelming.

What is it with these places that are great one time and so bad the next? Ganzo unfortunately leans more to the consistently disappointing than good. Everything from managing the waiting line, serving drinks or food feels disorganized. Everybody is running around fast enough but it doesn't really move the needle. This time we settled on a bar seat after waiting for a table for 35minutes there were plenty of free tables but they were for 4 people and it was me and the missus so we didn't get those. Seated at the bar it took 10 minutes for the bar keeper to get our drink order. 5 minutes later we placed our 4 sushi roll order. 35 minutes later the order was delivered.....see picture. The hamachi roll should have scallion it didn't unless the green stain was it. The seaweed was tough and almost unpalatable. We missed the volcano roll, they forgot.....the Bahamas roll was missing all the toppings except for the dried out tuna. The cucumber was crunch enough and occupied about 80% of the roll. The last roll was the "over the moon" roll. Alas the aspergus was pretty much raw and totally dominated the roll. Whatever topping was applied had fallen off.. mostly breadcrumbs so maybe that was a blessing.. the place has potential but they should focus on quality not quantity, they surely price themselves as such. We won't be back after trying at least a dozen times.

Some of the most disgusting sushi I have ever had. I ordered spicy tuna and salmon sushi but the fish in the middle of the sushi roll was like a paste. It was like they blended it before rolling it into the sushi. Not only was the texture of the fish atrocious but the sushi itself tasted disgusting. The fish tasted like it went bad or that they mixed it with cheaper older fish. Couldn’t even finish the dish it was so gross I had to throw it away. I know Ganzo is gonna reply to this review saying “oh no the fish is fresh and we are so sorry” but I don’t believe them for a second. Worst sushi on earth.

Had been curious about this restaurant as we've visited the past few years and love sushi. Finally made it in last night intending to have some dinner, but left after just the appetizer. Service was lacking - we didn't get the drinks we ordered soon after we sat down (hot tea and fountain soda) until about 15 minutes later when we were done with the appetizer despite the waiter walking by us multiple times (yes we did attempt to get his attention). No apology when we expressed disappointment with the service. Food we did get to try was fine, but not worth the frustration.
