5 stars all the way! The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal. It’s hard to find places that still make food from scratch, but you can really taste the difference here. The meatloaf was delicious, and the Dr Pepper Chocolate Cake for dessert was the perfect ending. It’s our new favorite weekend tradition!

If you haven't been to Cotton Patch recently you need to go. They have significantly improved many food items, increased food choice's, improved customer service, and revamped the menu. I had a baked sweet potato not previously offered, as one of my sides, and it was delicious. My son had the chicken fingers and he said they were new and improved as well. Mariah took such great care of us as well. Trent, the manager on duty introduced himself. It felt like home. I'm definitely ordering my Thanksgiving spread from here, also something new. Go see Mariah, Marian, and Trent at the Denton Cotton Patch Cafe and tell them I will see them soon.😁

I ordered the chicken tenders with French fries and ranch for dipping. The food came out steaming hot. The chicken was really very good. The French fries were a bit salty for me, next time I will specifically ask for less seasoning. The ranch was kinda thin, watery but tasted good. My overall review, very good, I will go back and order the chicken tenders again. My husband had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Not a complaint from him. Service was very good and fast.

Debanhi was an amazing waitress. She was very attentive and had a great personality! The food was delicious too. We got fried pickles, their new brisket queso (YUM!), and I had their new loaded brisket baked potato. It was huge and overflowing with all the fixins, hot, and delicious. Our server, Tori, was exceptional! Service was thoughtful and efficient! She thought of every detail to make our meal enjoyable! The food was outstanding! Everything was tasty! A few months ago we had a disappointing experience at this same location, and almost did not return! We are so glad that we tried again! Today's visit was fantastic!

food was AMAZING!! i got the mushroom patty melt with fries for lunch and funnel cake fries for dessert!! my mouth would not stop watering lol. my server makenzie was super sweet and super attentive. will definitely be coming back very soon.

Took my senior residents on a lunch outing to Cotton Patch and it was amazing. Our waiter (Riya?) was so professional and efficient. She checked on us frequently and made our experience refreshing. Cafe Leader, Scott is the best! He made sure we felt welcomed and oversaw our visit. He is a great human and we can’t thank him enough for looking out for us! We’ll definitely be back.

Cotton Patch 09-24-24 Did a pick up order. The food was warm and good It was ready when I got there. We had the Fried Mushrooms with Ranch. Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potato’s, and Squash Casserole. The food was flavorful and hot. The steak was a little tuff but still good. I really loved the Squash Casserole! Fried Fish Plate, Fries, Hush Puppies and Squash Casserole. The fish was crispy and flavorful. Overall it was Good, nothing special but good. I would go back but no time soon. Everyone has different tastes so Be sure and give them a try.

Ive never gone here, but ordered through Uber Eats a few times. The food is always good; prices arent terrible, even with Uber's markup; but they ALWAYS forget the rolls that come with the meals, the ice cream that comes w the cobblers, and the dressing for the salads. Every single time.

What is happening to Cotton Patch?? Our usual location in Flower Mound has closed, so I had to order from the Denton location. I ordered 2 chicken and dumpling meals with side salads. I specifically asked to have tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers REMOVED from the salads. Not only did they add everything I asked to be removed, but they didn't put croutons on the salads...that was the only thing I asked for on the salads. The lettuce was wilted and browned around the edges. They both had to go in the garbage because I have a raw tomato allergy. To make matters worse, when I opened the BOWL of chicken and dumplings, the container was not even half full. And what in the world is that in the bowl? Zero flavor, watered-down, flat square pieces of dough. I could have paid $2.00 for a can of Progresso soup, and it would have tasted better than this garbage that I paid $10.00 for!! Really? I am giving one star, because at least I ordered rolls, and that was my dinner tonight. At least they were fresh.

Today, I went with family to have lunch and the whole experience was horrible. First, when you order iced tea, it should be iced tea and not water with some tea in it. I have a picture of it too. Second, the waitress is very rude and when you say thank you for receiving your food or let's say, part of your order. There was no your welcome from her as she acts put out to even deal with us. Third, my order came out after everyone else finished their meals as I took mine home. I received my meal from a different waitress because our waitress started to avoid us. The other waitress should receive the tip. Fourth, when my mother has to ask 3 times to get a to go box from the waitress is cute you know. Was not friendly and cold. If she doesn't like her job or be around custumers, get a at home job and don't be around public please. Usually we get excellent service. 8 did take pictures of the difference between sweet tea and my watered tea at which she said that they have to make more. If you have to make more, don't serve 2 unsweet teas to customers. I would rather have someone say, I have water right now as we brew more tea, sorry for the inconvenience. Politeness goes along ways. By the way, we received the bill before I received my meal from the second waitress that was excellent to me and my family. She should get a solid thank you.so please review your cameras or ask me to send photos, I know the rude waitress seen me take them. I received your text about contacting me. I have a picture already and it ask for me to take a picture instead of sending my copy. My brother paid the ticket and I don't want a refund. It's never about that. It was about the experience I had being targeted. Not for free stuff. I will be back some other time. I have been there many times before and it's been 4 weeks since then. Your food and service has always been great except this time. I don't like to make complaints, afraid to have our door and drinks spit it. Not saying your place because that would be false. I just remember hearing former friends saying things like that decades ago so it makes me nervous. Your place is great except that Monday. My mother talked to the manager too. She told me this morning.
