Not sure why these folks have a 3.5 rating. I tried then for the first time today, and they are fast, polite, and have really tasty food. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with noodles, and both exceeded my expectations. Everything was fresh, including the vegetables in the noodles which still had crunch to them. I've struggled to find good Chinese food in Michigan, but this place is as close to home as I can find.

Small Chinese restaurant that no longer allows dining in so it is strictly take out now. I have been coming to this place for many years, but there has been ownership turnover. However, the food still seems to be consistently very good. My favorites are sesame chicken and spicy noodles. They have a good selection of egg rolls such as pork, chicken, etc. and they are of good quality and good taste.

Very much a "hole-in-the-wall" type of a place. Reminds me of something you would find in Chinatown Manhattan or Philadelphia. The staff barely speak English, but they will serve you some high-quality food with big portions at reasonable prices. Order during the "off" hours and you will probably have some a less hit-or-miss experience. Recommended: Curry Chicken with fried rice.

Not sure why all the hate. I’ve been going here for almost 6 years and it’s good. It’s basic Chinese food, fast take out but it’s always fresh and hot. The shrimp egg rolls are the only ones that I can attest to tasting like the Chinese food I grew up with on the east coast. I order their general tsos chicken and I love it. Their wonton is good too. I don’t go off of what I normally eat so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. I do think it’s more on the expensive side for take out but it hits the spot especially compared to other places in the neighborhood. You can order online now too.

Super good! I would rate it an 8/10 Every time I come I get spring rolls or shrimp egg rolls & fried rice with honey chicken! They have the best honey chicken ever! Service is very fast as well. Definitely recommend. Reminds me of mall Chinese food places in the food court lol

It looks like some of the reviews of this place here and on Yelp! are a couple years old, so maybe this update will help. I love this place. I tend to divide Chinese restaurants into high end and low end, you know, classy or basic. This is a basic place, and should I think be appreciated on that level for good, fast, Chinese-American food. May be under new management since some of these reviews were written and I have to tell you, the place was clean and friendly. It's got a neighborhood vibe and a lot of regulars. When I was there for a workday lunch, neighborhood and working people stopped in, chose from a couple of usuals, and commended me for discovering the place. If some of the flavors of the day are bland, well, they do let you try each meat before you commit to it, so take them up on that. But the thing not to miss are the egg rolls - they are succulent and the crust is great. Will be visiting again - will be working on becoming a regular!

Always a very fast pick up experience. The hot and sour soup was good and half portion of general tso was a good portion for the price.

It's been a minute since I'm into this location. I must say things have really taken a downturn. First of all they have a young kid working the front desk that seems to be more interested in his phone than taking orders. Secondly the restaurant looks hot mess dirty walls dirty ceiling and boxes everywhere. Now the food was mediocre I don't think I'll come back here ever again

It’s been maybe ten years since I’ve eaten here and it’s nothing close to what I remember. The food in the warming display didn’t look as delicious and unfortunately, tasted worse. We had three items with shrimp fried rice, crab ragoon, steamed dumplings and bean sprout egg rolls. Everything from the service to the food was lacking. I attempted to use a $5 off digital coupon which they insist MUST be printed however that’s not listed on the coupon. Everything with the exception of the sesame chicken lacked flavor, and the crab ragoon had NO crab. Needless to say- not a good experience

The customer service was decent but the food has NO flavor. We ordered seasme chicken, a prime dish for all Chinese restaurants. This WAS NOT prime at all. If you can't do the seasame right I don't need to try anything else on the menu 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I specifically requested no MSG in my white fried vegetable rice, they put what seems to be 10x the amount of it in the rice. The food was good, but MSG is one of those things you don't know you had too much until it's too late! I was so sick that night and the next day!

My Nephew picked up food on 11/13/21 the food was not as good as it has been. Missing egg roll the non talking person over the phn kept calling. Since Covid 19 is here the prices rise and you still dont get what you paid for..Not Good..Will seek higher authority on this matter...😝

Food was under cooked and when I brought it to the Asian woman who cooked it (she may also be an owner), she was EXTREMELY rude. Didn't want to listen or take the time to correct the problem. Instead she started yelling and addressing the other customers about my complaint. One of the customers told her "Just fix the problem". This made her even angrier. Very unprofessional and immature. If you can't handle "valid" customer complaints AND lack the ability to properly resolve issues in a constructive fashion, then the food industry, or any other "business" for that matter isn't for you. I Won't be back, and I won't refer! Word of mouth is EVERYTHING.

Food is gross...I tried two different things two different times and both times the food was trash.....Fried rice has no flavor. I highly do not recommend and service isn't so great either..

The worst Chinese food I've had in a very long time. Ordered through their app and when I got there they said the prices went up from the menu that they have listed on their website. Also, the meal I ordered clearly stated it came with shrimp fried rice but once there they refused to honor what is listed on their site. The food size was very small for the price and all my food was over cooked and nasty. Will never return.

Instead of taking your payment online, they make you pay when you get there, apparently so they can surprise you with a higher bill than their website quoted you when you placed your order. I can’t speak as to the claims of cockroaches and bad food but ripping you off for a measly dollar or two seems more important to them than happy customers not to mention common civility. Also the child who labors there seems to be almost always working - those claims are true.

The service from this restaurant has tremendously went down since the corona virus originated. I used to love this place, but now they’re so rude. Definitely will not return after the last order i received from them. I wish i could give 0 stars.

Terrible!! Would give 0 stars if I could, cashier got angry with my bf and I because we couldn't understand her broken English, she was very rude and lacked adequate customer service skills. Chicken was old and tough, not worth the time and definitely not worth the money.

The food was terrible! I can't even give it one star. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was lumpy....it was like thick lumpy jello. We couldn't understand the lumpiness. They wouldn't refund our money, so that was money lost. The chicken was soggy and the eggroll must have been fried in old oil. We will never give them our service again! Very poor service! They don't deserve not one star! They wouldn't let me publish it without one.

I feel like the recipe for the food sold has some how changed for the worse. I usually order the pepper chicken or the sesame seed chicken and the after taste is bad. Have any of you ate the food while trying to drink a flavored beverage such as kool-aid, soda, or tea? It tastes weird right? I don't like that taste at all. This is the nastiest food I have ever eaten. The jumbo fried shrimp, the shrimp was cut in half. The shrimp fried rice looks like they just threw the shrimp on top. The sweet and sour chicken was hard and dry. I threw the whole meal in the garbage. Don’t waste your hard earned money on garbage. I want to give zero starts but, I had to give them 1 star in order to post.

The food is horrible, I ordered mixed vegetables in garlic sauce and received mixed vegetable with no garlic sauce. This is the second time that this has happened. They need to hire a person that knows how to cook. Unfortunately I can't go over to Canada for Chinese food, where the food is more authentic. The lady at the counter is very rude to customers. I'm surprised that people continue to patronize this place. I'm done with this place.

One of the worst customer service. The lady handed me the wrong pick up order. I realized this after reaching home. I had to go back to pick up my order. There was no real apology for mix up. It seems the person who does packing lacks common sense. They pack the sauce in cardboxes which leak pretty badly by the time you take food home. The food itself can be good to okay. They add way too much green bell peppers which seem to be chopped in big chunks by someone who doesn't enjoy cooking. I did find it worth the money initially. Won't say the same anymore. Avoid this place. The last order I picked up which will be my last made me sick.

This place use to have good food and service, but now there's a child(yes child) at the window that can barely speak english and needs an attitude adjustment! When I tried to order, I was asked did I want a pint or a quart. This was their second chance because I went through the same process the last time I was there. When I asked him to show me what the containers looked like, he left the window and was gone about 5 minutes. When I tried to ask the adult about the containers, she told me her son would take care of me, twice. He finally returned with 5 containers that he threw up on the counter in front of the window, still needing an attitude adjustment. I informed them I would be eating elsewhere. I see why there is no longer a line with people waiting for food! Won't be going back!!!

Whenever we ask her about the dishes on the menu or if we can pay for extra sauce or anything like that she gets really nasty and raises her voice at you irately. Then while you are looking at the menu deciding what you want she just stands there and stares at you like you're holding her up. I saw her do that to me and my fiance and to other customers as well. Their food isn't that good to have that type of demeanor and after my experience with her attitude yesterday I've definitely made that my last visit.

I called to place and order and reached a woman with a heavy accent. She called twice to tell me the order was ready. Unfortunately, I confused the place with Peking Pavillion. Both restaurants are on Jefferson and both have similar phone numbers (only one digit different). I didn't realize my mistake until after I picked up from Peking Pavillion and the lady from Peking Express called. She was angry and tried to explain that she had confirmed the address. I apologized and explained that I had trouble understanding and heard Jefferson. I'm from Pontiac so I didn't realize there were two similarly named restaurants so close. I would of happily paid for my mistake, however, she began screaming at me. Rude and unprofessional and I am thankful to have not eaten there.

Horrible customer service i do not recommend very rude. If I can give this place a minus 10stars I would from what I had to go through tonight I placed an order gave the lady my debit card. She ran it one time and then ran into another time. Ended up getting two receipts so I thought something was fishy. I logged into my online banking and it showed that I was charged twice when I told her that I was charged twice, she said no no I said yes I can show you that I am charged twice and she did not want to do anything about it I called my bank and they told me that the transaction was charged twice. Keep in mind that she handed me the food and she is going back-and-forth arguing for the last 20 minutes besides me getting charged twice now my food is cold and she told me to come back after three days when I live about an hour away and all the customers inside this facility are telling her that she is wrong, and keeps handing me the phone to talk to someone from her family thats not even at the location. I would definitely not recommend this place especially the attitude and the unprofessionalism of this lady that works there or owns the place

The lady at the front register attitude is horrible I've been coming here for years since she's been taking orders the last time was my last time I would never go back.
