Service could be more attentive but food is great and decor is nice and clean.. prices make sense but not cheap and quality of food was top notch and lots of flavor.
The food is always great. Unparalleled.
I go to Aashiyana a lot. Due to covid 19 we've been doing call-ins but the food is just as delicious. I love their shami kabaab, chicken Tikka, and naan.
MashAllah, Alhumdullilah I am so happy we found this restaurant. The food is so good. It is the best indo/Pak food I have had in a very long time. May Allah bless this business and all the other halal businesses.
Delicious food, going to Aashiana for last 20 years, friendly service, family environment. Fair price.
We liked the Chicken biriyani. It was tasty. Friendly people. Also liked the fresh guava from their garden.
Best place for Pakistan and Indian food.great service. clean environment.friendly staff

Great place, awesome service and delicious food. One of the best authentic food around!
Great food and service with great prices
if you want to really have pakistani food you should at least once go there , each and every dish reminds pakistani flavor.
Great authentic food and service to match if your from pakistan you will understand what i mean by the service.
Food was excellent, restaurant ambiance was very nice. Service was excellent.
Best "lam shahi kurma" and "chicken kadahi"for reasonable price anywhere in this area. Courteous and quick service. Our favorite Pakistani/ Indian restaurant in the area.
First time ordered. Aalo paalak 6/5, Karahi 4.5/5, Biryani 4.5/5. Service is very good. Will come again and try other stuff as well.
I really like their Korma! If your ordering the Tundori Chicken get the smaller pieces because you only get two pieces in the larger order. Overall, good food.
Anyone who says this food is not the best or not amazing should be shot, this place is 10 out of 10 in taste and service, total underdog and our favorite place in town!!! Youre all missing out on some incredible value and astounding food! And these people dont try to conn you into ordering more food than you need like most indian/pakistani restos! Two thumbs way up!!!! Diamond in the rough
It was a great and memorable dinner that we had in this restaurant... Indians and Pakistani surrounding us, we felt like we were back home... The cusine was fantastic and delicious.. There was special dedicated place for prayers which was the best part... Oversell good experience
Great food, I have had in a long time. Make sure to inform of your taste for spicy food. Order mild if you don't like spicy.....
Despite the delicious experience, I was surprised by the lack of patrons. This hidden gem deserves more attention for its authentic Pakistani cuisine.
In town visiting family, and they brought me here. The food and service were excellent. Check them out if you are in the area
Showed up with a party of 18 two hours before they closed and we were treated very well. Food was super tasty and they were extremely accommodating.
Great place!! The food was overall tasty fresh and good. The service was great and excellent. Overall amazing place
As always excellent atmosphere and customer service and foods
Just tried this place out of the blue. Food was tasty. Service was great. Atmosphere was ok. Oddly there was hardly anyone there. Not sure if we were there at an odd time or it just happened to be not busy. Anyways the food is definitely worth the visit.
Love this place and the owner is a most sweetest man you will ever meet. Best pakistani food in Los Angeles area. Must try Daal Palak Nihari Karahi beef and chicken Over all it was an amazing time.
Nice clean place. Food taste really good and the best part is, remains hot. They need to hire more staff ,only 2 persons are in for doing everything and this makes their service very slow.
I went after a year, some of my friends were not happy about their service and quality of food, but this time quality of food was excellent and Mr. Barkat gave good service. If anybody like Pakistani cuisine, this is the place to go. Try their BBQ lamp chops.
My family is very particular about getting Desi food as takeout because it always tastes homemade, and not like the street food or “Shaadi ke khaaney Waala Taste” that we are so used to from back home. After reading all of the positive reviews, we tried the food from here for the first time and I can easily say that the taste definitely lived up to the praise. We are so glad to have found this place and we will be coming here regularly!
The food is amazing 👏 Their chicken Karahi is the best. It is better than every other desi restaurants and believe me I have tried them all and compared. If you add Dal with it then it's game over. Yummy!
My go to place when im in LA. an absolute must try for anyone visiting. If curry isnt your thing, they have so many other things. I beg everyone. Try it once at the least.
Had my son's graduation party here. Food was amazing and they did such a great job decorating the hall. Reasonable price, very helpful staff and it was very clean. They let us go in early to set up and let us stay late to clean up. Definitely recommend this place for your events.

If you love indian food this is the place you must visit. All fresh and Quality - Quantity of All dishes will fulfill your Appetite ! The real taste of Himalaya Mountain village taste ! Must try this restaurant Highly Recomandation Fresh Nan - Garlic Nan All Biryani 👌 Dal with Spinach 👌 Best Food must visit and try yourself 👍
Amazing food very good service one of my favourite restaurant !
Nice place on the inside, even though the outside may not look like much. Food tasted great and service was very quick. I recommend everyone in the Brea/Diamond Bar area to definitely try this place. Most of the food is served on these trays that have candles under them, so the food stays warm. Super cool idea!
Aashiana is great for dining and parties . The tandoori kabobs of beef best in the world.
A must have, and keep the Nana coming. Best chicken tikka masala I've had at a restaurant.
Really nice Halal Food. And warm hospitality.

Really nice Halal Food. And warm hospitality.
Some of the best Desi food in SoCal... perfect for catering daavats.
Im here simply to rate the food and customer service. Both were exceptional! The food is so delicious that even my picky 6 year old couldn't stop eating it. The service was great with the waiter regularly visiting tables to see if they needed anything else. This place was an amazing find for us and we will definitely be back! My husband thought the food here was the first place in OC to remind him of his mother's cooking. Parking was abundant. They have many vegetarian options and if you request no extra spice, kids will easily enjoy too.
This is our go-to Tandoori place. Reliable. Good. The people who work there are super nice.

It was a good experience going to new Ashiyana restaurants. It is a good place to buy good quality halal food. It is a place to buy some Pakistani, Indian spicy food, bread and other meat, halal meat, and vegetables, a lot of choice of barbecue stuff. I will recommend anybody who's in a neighborhood or want for any stuff like I mentioned above. Please visit the new Ashiyana restaurants, very friendly staff, clean environment, lots of parking, open until 9:00 p.m. if you agree with my findings, please feel free to leave feedback kindly, Addie Syed.
I tried chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala with Garlic naan. The food was tasty and flavorful. Definitely worth a try
Good as always especially Nihari and BBQs... however owner need to add few employees at least during the weekends. The current staff get nervous a lot.
Great food, delicious authentic Indian Pakistani Cuisine. Service is a bit slow but the food is worth it.
Does not accept credit cards. Service isn't all that. Food is okay. Overall pretty good .
Nice food and service, except for quantity. Also, the biryani was just ok.
The food their was enjoyable but unless you knew hindi/urdu, some of the servers couldn't understand you. Personally I love their food I would recommend their chicken sheek kabob or their chicken tikka it is very delicious. I have been before and their party/banquet I very fancy and us very unique
I went To This Place Abt A Year Ago, Food was Really Good , nice and Pakistani Taste (better then many In Neighbourhood) But Unfortunately their were some Issues with Management and Hospitality :The Serving staff was not that Good I heard they Have Made Some Improvements I hope My Next Visit Will Force me to Write a Better review Cc:Honour Mr Ali
I usually have a very tasty dinner with my family and the staff are very nice. Their food tastes like real Pakistani food. One out of seven times they are too busy and the service is affected.
Excellent menu, authentic Pakistani Food, really tasty and fresh. This place has area for pray. If you are in rush it is recommended to order over phone before you arrive for the dinner. Lack of cleaning is noticeable.
The food was pretty tasty. The garlic naan was fluffy and full of garlic to keep vampires and people away. The chicken biryani was good but quite spicy.
Food was good a bit spicy though. I recommend the chickentikkaa and garlic naan although I'm not Indian at all.
The vegetable pakora was delicious, and a bit spicy. It was a good meal, with good portions , and priced fairly

Good food definitely will come again
Food was really good but I would give it 5 star if owner/waiter treats its customers in a cheerful way.
It is a place to eat I requested no oil But I was still given a plate full of oily vegetables I hate wasting money on food one cannot eat Hey you may have a better luck If you do share if not let us know
The food is decent; not the best, but better than many other places. Try the mixed grill, chicken tikka masala, and nihari. The service is good as well. The servers are very sweet and humble. It's our go-to when we don't know where else to go.
Nice to have more halal restaurants whenever we are traveling. Recommend the Haleem because it was the best of what we had to eat. But the Naan backside was burned! I noticed the naan was burned at a table nearby so I specifically asked the waiter to to be careful and not to burn ours. The top was fine but the bottom was inedible.
I ordered seekh kabob n 1 nan, when I ordered the guy said it is going to take 30 minutes but he served very quickly so I asked him how come so fast he said Tandoor is very hot that's why. I came to my car and eat , I noticed seekh kabob was not fresh because it was really cold only nan was hot so he only made the nan. I am Surprised they could have microwave or heat it up but they thought I ll go home n eat so I won't know. Honest review is taste was good but he lied to me. Thanks
Been here twice and the food is well portioned but very greasy. The naan is good in texture and flavor. I've had indian food from several different places including curryland in pomona but this far greasier than any other ive had.
New Aashiyana - Halal Tandoori Restaurant is a Pakistani restaurant in Diamond Bar. We visited this place on April 20, 2019, to attend a birthday party. This place was wide enough and the decor was nice and clean. The service could be more attentive but the food was good and fresh. We enjoyed all the dishes. The price was affordable.
They have improved a lot. Biryani and nihari are very good. Update: had an event at the banquet hall. The person who was apparently in charge tried his best so save electric bill by not turning all the lights on. We had to point to the lights ask him to turn the stage lights on two hours in to the event. The chairs had no covers and the dirty stained seats were an eye sore.
Excellent Pakistani Food. Excellent Beef and Chicken Dishes. Much better than several restaurants in the neighborhood. I have eaten at all of them many times. The above remarks are from late 2016 or early 2017. Same management stills runs the place. I dont think they have ever repainted it. October 24, 2018 I called ahead and inquired about daily specials Paya was recommended. I asked if there were beef pieces in it I was told "Absolutely". There was not a shred of beef in the dish. It was most generic and tasteless Payas I have ever eaten. This dish was not bad tasting. It had no taste. It had less taste than a coated aspirin pill. I conveyed my feelings to another server and asked if I could get a small side order of Dal for a charge, of course. Without the slightest of concern I was told my only option was a full order of Dal. I had above average food here several times. Don't expect any courtesy. Even if you vomit, the restaurant will insist on full payment and for sure not offer to swap your dish/s. No way, not in this life time. They may be in United States They have learned nothing.
food texture is good but the price you pay for the servings not worth it sorry
food texture is good but the price you pay for the servings not worth it sorry
The chicken briyani had a lot of rice (serves 3) and good amount of chicken but it's missing the most important thing. The taste.
There was a lot wrong with my personal experience in this reastraunt. First and foremost wait time. I understand that it takes longer towards the night to get all the food out but you can at least take the order. I waited over half an hour to place and order. Beyond this not all the food was properly cooked all the way through. I wanna go back to wait time for a minute. While I waited for my food a few other couples came into the reastraunt. The waiters took less than 10 minutes to be at their table taking orders and an additional 18 minutes to prepare and serve the food. All the while I've been waiting for over an hour for my food. I can forgive a lot but this experience is one I cannot forgive.
It was horrible I and never coming here back. Yhere service is bad, everything is dirty it so gross they don't know how to make food. They have Cameras to watch you and not to watch robbers f**k them
Worst place for take out food the quality and quantity goes way down but if u dine in then it’s a different story i wanted to give it a zero rating.
People that work here think they better than everyone else. Stinky attitude gonna get em six
Very lousy service, pathetic food, Mr. Barkat was rude with us ladies, they over charged us for the food for 2 dishes. We order Bihari kobob and Chicken Karahi water Nan, there bill was $84. We asked them why, they replied because of Eid. Very greedy, they call them selfs Muslim, take advantage of ladies and Muslim festivals. We want to call police, but we did not because it will be disgraceful for Muslim image. I hope someone will teach them lesson to not take of advantage of ladies and fetivals. They forced us leave by 7 pm they have to close restaurant for false narritive that have to close the restaurant because of government order. We checked they lied.
The hospitality was worse, and the employee was so rude. We were like 10 people and went there for a cup of tea and he didn't allowed us to sit on a table, instead he asked us to wait outside of the restaurant and he'll bring the order outside.
Visited Aashiana and ordered food. My friend asked the waiter to change the plates as we had an appetizer and the plates had chutney on it. The waiter took the plates to change but the owner akbar told him that they couldn’t change the dishes as we had only ordered one dish, which is not true. Akbar came to our table and said that we had to eat in the same plates and that’s all they could offer!!! We were stunned by this man who is supposedly in the hospitality service industry !!! So we left and intend never to go back to Aashiana ever again!! Such a rude owner who has no idea what service is all about!!!wowwww
Bad food quality and very disappointing service. It's not the same ashiyana as it used to be despite the fact its the same management/ownership. Prices are rediculously high as compare to the food taste and quality. These guys really need some serious attention to their quality and overall improvement!
This is a good place to enjoy old ,nasty filthy chicken biryanies and other delicious nasty old food. The staff and the management are very unprofessional and rude. Will never suggest this place to any decent families and sophisticated people. If still someone wanna give it a try than please take "Anti-Diarrheal" pills with you !
Just spoke to an employee at the restaurant. He was reluctant to provide his name after I asked who was their meat supplier and if the meat was hand slaughtered halal. I didn't get his name but he did provide me with Bayfood Meat Spice. I asked him to provide me with their phone number of their supplier and the guy acted like he was sweating bullets over the phone. He got really nervous and asked why was I asking and went into this shpeel about how they have been serving halal for 49 years. Really, I could care less how many years you've been serving "halal" food for I just need to know who is your supplier. Bayfood meat spice. He said his boss orders the meat. Then he said he was the manager. I asked well if you can't provide your name can you provide your last name. Nope. He did say his boss's name was Akbar Ali. Bayfood meat spice doesn't exist on google. I'd appreciate if Akbar Ali can leave a comment reply on who their meat supplier is.
We went to Aashiyana with friends on Saturday, and had a very bad experience. While the food at Aashiyana is good, the experience wasn't. The serving lady was rude, which she was the last time we went as well. We were having a nice meal when my 1 year old woke up all cranky, and efforts to soothe her weren't helping. A little while later, the serving lady came upto us and asked us, in her usual rude manner, to get the baby to quiet down because their guests were getting disturbed. I assume she was talking about the guests in their banquet hall because the diners in the restaurant did not seem affected. Kids cry, that's what they do. My husband, a little annoyed with her "request" said that we were doing all we could, we don't enjoy our baby crying either. There were four kids at our table, none of them running around, none of them being rowdy, just one who was crying- something that kids do! Once the meal ended, however, and it was time to leave, our friend asked to see the manager to tell them about this incident, and the manager, instead of apologizing, started telling us how to parent by telling us that he saw us and we did nothing to calm the baby down (Umm...hello?! We took her out, but we don't owe you an explanation), and how when his kids were little he always knew how to handle their crying and, among other things, he said 'agar bache paalne nahin aate toh paida kyun karte hain' (If you don't know how to raise kids, why do you have them?). That was the worst! Nobody is allowed to say something like that to anyone, ever! I have to say that we have dined with our kids at many different places, some fancy, some not, and we have never been spoken to this way, or been told to get our kids to quiet down when they cried. This has got to be our worst experience ever. Aashiyana had no signs that said children under a certain age weren't allowed there. If you allow children in, you're a family restaurant, and this is what happens when families dine at your restaurant- kids cry- and as a restaurant that caters to everyone, you have got to deal with it. Very upsetting experience. Never going back there. If the management is reading this, please train your staff better, and ask them to keep their parenting opinions to themselves. Thank you.
Mr Ali of Ashiyana does not know how to respect customers. Was trying to get catering for an event for 100 people. Wanted the condiments for Dahi Baray (an appetizer) to be served separately as some guests cannot handle too much chilly. Mr Ali said that he cannot do so and doesn’t care about those guests and he even hung up on me during the conversation. I will never ever order food from there and will spread the word in my community.
I ask for empty cup of water . The owner of restaurant said drink straight from bottle We don’t provide cups Very rude behavior of owner Ali
Warning to people who are not catering and dining in: they serve old food, it almost made me throw up
Pre-covid it was an ok place but post-COVID everything went down the drain it seems. Went with a group of 15 people and their service was horrible! They didn't tell us when we made reservations that they had their dishwasher broken, everything was served in disposable plates. No service whatsoever, the waiter was mean, took forever to bring food, the restaurant was shabby and to top it all off we found a dead baby COCKROACH in one of the curries when we brought it home! We only went because we were looking for halal food. Please stay away until they take responsibility and work on their service. I won't be going back for sure.
I have eaten here a few times and quite liked the food in the past. Well, both the service and food have went downhill since. The waiters were rude, seems so busy in chit chatting. The food quality has dropped and prices has increased insanely high. Why am I paying $14+ a plate for Chicken plate with more bones and less chicken and no air-conditioning. I do not recommend this place. There are other places with better food close enough by. This place has seen better days.
Went to this hotel on 29th December, Saturday night for a family dinner. What I thought would be an enjoyable Indian dinner turned out to be a bad experience for me. We unfortunately were accompanied by a group of loud and rude people who probably thought that they owned the place. In spite of requesting multiple times to keep their voices down (me and guests on other tables), they not only kept up their rhetoric but also mocked us and upped their antics. The bad part was that the hotel staff and management did nothing to stop this despite our requests (other than the waiter meekly telling them to lower their voices but to no effect). I am not sure if any other restaurant would have tolerated such indecent behavior. Although the food was above average, the overall experience was forgettable.
Based on the reviews and my friend recommendation I was hopeful but this restaurant did not fulfilled my expectation. It was a total disaster. I ordered garlic Nan which was good however the chicken Tika Masada was not even edible. My friend ordered beef kabab and he did not like it a bit. Service was bad over all, don't waste your time and money.
I have never experienced such bad service in my life. I had to literally get up every time I needed to get a hold of the waiter. They kept forgetting items I asked for and I was needing to repeat myself multiple times. The manager was a joke. I ordered the boneless chicken and it was so hard and raw. This place needs to either hire more people or train the ones to at least check on their customers rather than making people wait so long for the raw food they serve. Never going back!!
The worst restaurant ever. Their food was horrible. Cheated with the food and prices. They overpriced me with the food I ordered. And the quantity was less. Also the restrooms were so dirty and smelled bad. The staff is also horrible. No need to spend too much money on food here.
Very bad messed up my eid order they only want to take orders and don't even bother to check I had eid dinner n food was for two people .... pathetic customer service Don't order ...
The food was horrible. The restaurant had an odd smell. The staff was cheating towards the customer. They charged us more money than it was written in the menu. Everything was overpriced. Would give them 0 stars. Will never visit this restaurant ever again!!!
I was there today. Around 5pm. Very disappointed. First place was dirty. Restroom was so dirty felt like throwing up. The food was bad and very expensive. Staff wasn't friendly at all. Especially the man who took the order.he over charged for food and Naan. Every thing was bad. Never going back again.
This was the worst restaurant experience ever. Despite us being the only guest, the server was very rude and inattentive to our needs, and literally served us in to-go boxes when we were dining in. The place also lost power halfway through our meal, and although it was understandably the block that lost power, the server did nothing to make us feel better about having to eat in the dark. No candles, nothing. Horrible experience, never eating here again.
Food isn't great. And service is abominable. I made two online orders 2.5 hours before delivery time. They cancelled the second order 30 mins AFTER the expected delivery time. And they delayed pickup for the first order 1 hour PAST delivery time. I called to ask why, and they didn't even have multiple orders. Just my 1 order that they didn't cancel. They literally could not handle 1 online order.
Do not go here.. food served in to go box, waiter put 3:50 for lassi when it’s 3:00. When asked politely was this an oversight he got very offended and said I never looked at the prices. No apologies, and dismissed what I asked. Also they bring a water bottle and charged for it.. in a sit down lunch and dinner restaurants water is brought for free..
I recently had a dining experience at this restaurant where we ordered multiple items spent $145. One of the dishes was Paya (cow feet curry). Unfortunately, we found multiple hairs in it, indicating that the meat was not properly cleaned. This was quite disappointing. We also ordered the vegetable biryani, but it did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and quality. Moreover, there were several items on the menu that were unavailable, which was a bit frustrating. Food was not freshly cooked. The cleanliness of the restaurant was average, and upon entering, there was an unpleasant odor that created a negative atmosphere. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, the server asked for a $20 tip, which I personally believe was inappropriate. I would like to request the management to thoroughly check the restaurant and prioritize hygiene. It is essential to ensure that customers receive proper service, with fresh and well-cooked food. The ingredients used in the dishes should be properly cleaned as well. Lastly, it is unacceptable to serve leftover salad to subsequent customers. Additionally, two of our family members experienced stomach issues after consuming the food.
I recently visited New Ashiyana Restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered biryani and mutton karahi, but both dishes were far from fresh. The biryani lacked flavor, and the mutton in the karahi was tough and unappetizing. It was clear the food wasn't freshly prepared. Considering the quality, it felt like a complete waste of money. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal.
Place was empty. I placed $150 worth of food for a week since I'm a over the road truck driver.i ask the management to prepare fresh food. They did the opposite and gave me all left overs for God sakes when. They didn't want to give refund and I ended throwing everything. Calling the health department because I got food poisoning. You guys must be delusional to give them 4 star. I'm a pakistani and definitely knows food taste. Stay far away!!
