Wow what a hidden gem. Came here for lunch and was blown away at how clean the place was and how delicious the food was. I ordered the chicken with a side of babaganoush- a must! I wish I had a authentic mom and pop Mediterranean spot in OC

I was passing through Texas and stopped in for a bite to eat. I was very pleased; everything was delicious! Thanks to the staff and the chefs!

This place is my go-to spot for authentic kebab and shawarmas! I met the owner, who was incredibly friendly. The ambiance is great, and my friends always want to come back after visiting. The food is simply delicious—I’ve been so caught up in savoring it that I haven’t taken any photos yet. Maybe next time! 😄

I had the beef shawarma plate today. Everything on the plate was amazing! Fresh salad and amazing dressing, good quality beef, nice and tender, seasoned perfectly with a side of some sauce that was also amazing! Perfect hummus too! This place never disappoints.

Probably one of the best Mediterranean places I have eaten at so far. My buddy recommended it and did nit disappoint. I got the beef plate and it had a lot of flavor. The hummus was good as well. It is like a hole in a wall place but definitely worth checking out.

Was hungry and wanted to try something new. Came across this restaurant that I drive by a lot and decided to give it a try. So glad I did the food was delicious and the people who worked there were so friendly.

I have visited Janet's many times. The food is always delicious! We made our way there yesterday with friends to share lunch together as a friend wanted to treat me for my birthday. A staff member on break moved where she was sitting and helped push tables together so we could all sit together. She then sang Happy Birthday with us followed by a solo rendition of HBD in her language. Then, a male worker brought over some yummy baklava as a gift. Thank You Janet's team for being so sweet. I was truly touched by your sweet gestures. We will be back. ❤️

This place is the best Mediterranean restaurant I've ever had, the others I've tried don't compare. Their beef and chicken are seasoned so well and juicy, and their butter rice is so delicious and pairs the meal so well together.

The food is AMAZING and the portions are very generous. My husband and I typically get the combo for two, and we usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s a great value for the amount of food you get, and it’s all delicious. The kebabs, the hummus, and the rice are all perfectly seasoned every time. The beef kebab is my favourite, followed closely by the hummus.

Wow... absolutely delicious! Meat is marinated perfectly and its extremely tender! Rice is soft and not hard or crispy. I think their hummus is homemade because of the texture! It's so good! Moved to the area and have been looking for a good Mediterranean restaraunt! Ill be returning very soon.

I've ordered take out from this place so many times but this is the first time I've actually eaten inside the dining area. Food as always is delicious! I got the beef kabob plate. The beef was tender. It came with rice, salad, hummus and pita. Alot to eat for 1 person so I had leftovers to take home. The dining are was recently renovated and it had a nice ambiance. I highly recommend Janet's if you're looking for good quality Mediterranean food.

I really like their rice and warm bread. 🥰 I order the combo plate for two people. It feeds the 4 of us. I get take out often. Janet’s has a dining area. The service is friendly. It’s best to call to have your order ready because good food can’t be rushed. So happy I can get really good Mediterranean food close to home. I highly recommend this place.

I know there's more to order there but when I want some healthy with tons of flavor, Janet's Falafel Salad is my go to. The falafel is soooo tasty and the salad dressing is CRAZY good and the fact that they give you a pita wrap is a great addition to the enjoy the dish multiple ways. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed!

You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. If you’re looking for Authentic Mediterranean food in the area, this is definitely the spot. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

They might also get your order slightly wrong sometimes or if you go with a group they'll group all the food up in one container for the meats and rice and another for the salad which is annoying but I guess maybe communicate with them. Although, they should know better than to do this. I once went to order and a worker who was taking an order from client over the phone was unable to understand him. Something was said , I guess the audio was bad on the phone where neither client nor worker could understand the conversation in English with each other so she asked if anyone knew Spanish. I who was ordering went ahead and took the order of the client who tried ordering over the phone. I think it was pretty funny, I don't think the guy heard me tell him I was another customer just helping him order but I was happy to help as the food here is always good and I knew it would not disappoint the client over the phone. At that time they were remodeling and the place looks better. The bathroom is always clean too. They put in a self order kiosk as well.

The lamb swarmma plate was delicious. But the homemade baklava was supurb. It melted in my mouth. I wish I lived closed than 90 miles from this delightful spot. It's clean & well kept. I'll stop anytime I'm going through the San Gabriel Valley.

My wife and I stopped by Janet's on our way home for dinner. My last visit was a few years ago as at that time, I had worked in the area. Today I had the chicken Sharma, and my wife had the marinated chicken. The meals were filling and included rice, hummus, and salad. Of the two meals, the marinated chicken was better than mine. My chicken was a bit dry and did not have a lot of flavor. Nonetheless, I would order it again as perhaps it was an off night.

Food was delicious but wait was extremely long - order ahead if possible. They stop dine-in seating well before closing, so that's something to keep in mind. Chicken kebab was excellent, salad was also nice.

Mediterranean food was delicious. The falafel was moist, the hummus was creamy, and the pickle radish or crispy. The baklava was excellent.

Eating rice together with salad is a good compliment together both taste better Hummus was a too salty otherwise almost perfect 3.5 stars. Taste like it may have soy sauce in it. Maybe that's why it's very salty Pita bread very thin dry. Not great, but ok 3 stars

I also waited forever for my food and I even called ahead. This time I tried delivery and was such a different experience. Food was packed well and cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh and tasty. Hummus delicious. And pita fresh and warm. Rice was not my fave, but tasty. Just prefer the buttery Persian version at some other places. It did taste good, just not the style I prefer. The chicken and beef kebabs were top notch though. Very well cooked and seasoned. Definitely enough for two people to share. The garlic sauce wasn’t my fave either, but not usually something I eat a lot of anyway. GF was disappointed though. All in all, an order I would place again. A little more consistency and an improvement here and there will kick it up to 5 stars, but a solid 4 stars for now.

Over Price!! I had to pay for my grill tomato. The hummus was not good. There's a waiting period to get your food. It took a little longer than usual. Beef and chicken are very well seasoned. The establishment should offer water in a cup for those who don't want a soda. Will I come here again? Probably not. I can pay les and get more for my buck somewhere else. Izzy's foodie Review...!!

Ordered the lamb shawarma plate. This place is okay. Nothing special about it but it’s not bad either. There’s better out there. The pita bread is given to you cold. Salad dressing is way too sour. Considering the price and what you get, and how you order, it’s on a premium side. It’s also a 30 minute wait. If this was on a lower price range, I would be OK with everything here and give it a pass. But for the price they charge, I expect more.

Worst service ever, the waitress was super rude to us, they serve me my food super cold and when I asked to warm it up they got mad at me and anyways they return it cold again. I have aten before here and the service and food was different. I will never be back again.
