I ate in the bar. Got the chicken malenese. It was huge and sooo good!!!! It was in a lemon caper sauce and breaded in parmagiano. Enough for 2 people, no problem. Also got the potatoes gruyere gratin. Those were really good. The bartender, Laurie was attentive and made an excellent drink. The creme brulee for dessert was top notch. I would definitely go back!

Excellent steakhouse with the delicious food only being outdone by the incredible service from Kristina. Her recommendations were spot on, the gruyere scalloped potatoes were amazing and the steaks (Griffin and Kosar) were cooked to perfection.

We made a reservation for 8pm arrived at 7pm. They made accommodations and sat us quickly. I ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu filet it was absolutely amazing. All the food was outstanding Escargot, Cesear salad, French Onion Soup. Would highly recommend giving this place a try you won't be disappointed.

We don’t wander down to Columbus very often, but the last two times we’ve made the trip, we made reservations here and zero regrets! The salads, bread, steaks, and desserts are all top notch! (I highly recommend the butter cake with flaming bananas foster!) What I want to mention is the fantastic customer service! From the front of house greeting us with a welcome hello to the staff that went around to fill our water, they were all great! Our waiter (I’m almost 100% sure it was Scott!) was so personable and made sure we knew that the sides were big enough for two people to share. We started a nice conversation with him about our love for Northern Michigan (the state, not the teams! lol!) and he made us feel very comfortable! It was nice that the manager came around and checked on us to make sure we were happy. Thank you all for a lovely birthday dinner! May you have continued success! 🤗

I stopped here for my Thursday Steak and I was having trouble deciding on a Filet or Ribeye. I went with the Ribeye this time. Hopefully I can make it back here again so I can try the Filet. The French Onion Soup was very good and was a Cheese fest. The Garlic Whipped Potatoes were perfect.

We decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with dinner at Hyde Park, and they didn't disappoint. From the time we walked through the threshold until the time we departed, the staff were gracious and professional. They made us feel very welcomed and were very attentive. The meal was incredible - from the oysters, to the main course, and finishing with desert. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and we look forward to going back ourselves again soon. 5 stars all around!

My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary 🩷 This was such a special occasion for us and they did an amazing job. Multiple people told us happy anniversary, there was a candle, rose petals, and an anniversary card. We loved the wine (we prefer sweeter wines so went with Moscato). The appetizer, dinner, and dessert were 💯 on point. I ordered the steak griffin (it was soooo good) and my husband got the scarlet and gray tomahawk ribeye. He wasn’t able to finish it, I think it was more about the experience for him. It reminded me of the Flintstones 😂🤣 Even though the food was the best, we will return for future anniversaries because of the way we were treated and the way they made us feel. It’s wonderful to feel like our special occasion is important and acknowledged so much by others and worth celebrating. We’ve never had that type of service and experience before. Thank you Hyde Park for such a wonderful anniversary ♥️ See you next time!!

We've been to many of the upscale dining establishments in the Columbus area and I have to say this is probably my favorite! I had the most tender filet mignon of my life here. The service was amazing. I don't think it's possible to have less than perfect experience here. Worth every penny!

Stopped by for happy hour yesterday. The servers were great and it is super classy as expected. My drinks were perfect while the food was a bit off. The shrimp cocktail was also perfect while the med sirloin burgers were well done and the oysters were tiny.

My experience at Hyde Park Dublin was exceptional. Chris was my waiter, and he was great. And Scott the Executive Chef prepared my meal. I had no idea that the Executive Chef had prepared my meal until I mentioned to my waiter that my wedge salad was superb. I've gotten the wedge salad at Hyde Park on several occasions and at different Hyde Park locations, and they were all good, but the one I had on this visit was superb. My waiter was very attentive to my needs and he went above and beyond what I even expected. It is very rare for me to give a 5 rating to anything, I will only give a 5 star rating if the business or service provides an exceptional service. And due to the exceptional service that I received during this dining experience at Hyde Park Dublin I am giving them 5 stars.

What a great place! We went on our 19th Anniversary to have some good food and enjoy the ambiance. Both servers were great. I kept the gentleman busy with me drinking all the water out of my glass and he was 100% on top of filling it back up every single time! 5 x's at least! LOL! It had a lot of ice in it every time. Perfection! I did not have to ask or even move my glass over to the edge of the table. Nailed it! The steak we had was incredible. Dry aged chopped steak for me and petite filet mignon for my beautiful! They had a wide range of prices and we were fine with the early night dinner menu. Before 6pm. A lot of places are seemingly so high on their prices when eating out anywhere now. This place gave us the perfect amount of food. I knocked out the lobster bisque which was the best I have ever had on this side of the Mississippi and eastern Canada. Maine has a very close #2 now for me! The wine and drink selection was good. The steaks were cooked as if they were hooked up to a thermocouple attached to a computer to attain an Iron Chef insane badge of perfection! The best bang for your buck and ending up with a full belly and a big grin on your face is where I am at with this dinner! We had a very nice card, candle, and flower petals ready for us on the table. Then the gentleman brought us out a S'mores Desert. He lit a candle on it also! All of which surprised us and made both of us very happy on this occasion. Bonus 6th star for this! They had some awesome names for their steaks and cuts. If one would want a Japanese wagyu steak they have it. The way I look at it. If I go to a place and they cook what we had to eat at the highest level out there. Then imagine what the higher end top top notch steaks will do to your taste buds and mind! POOF! Mind blown! Attention to detail guys. Thank you for a great time with great people. As you walk in, big smiles greet you. Then to being taken care of as you enjoyed your meal is what made it so nice. I only have one request. Maybe a broader selection of mushrooms. A medley of Mushroom species as a side, or to hopefully a more precise selection to entertain ones palate. That would be the grand finale. A fireworks show to beat all. Some turkey tail, COW, even morels can enlighten a plate of steak like no other. I will be back and will be very willing to spend more $$ on the top shelf cuts of steak.

Arrived late but the staff were still very accommodating. The aged Ribeye was one of the best Steaks I have ever had. Try the Thick Cut bacon appetizer If you are in the mood for something decadent.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this steakhouse. I would like to thank the entire staff for making our anniversary dinner something I will always treasure! Once the staff knew we were celebrating our anniversary, they pulled out all the stops! First, they lit a candle and sprinkled rose petals on our table. As a finishing touch, they placed a handwritten card on our table that had a beautiful message inside. The food was amazing! Order the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio appetizer, the beef melts in your mouth. The Chilean Sea Bass was perfect. The bottom was crispy and executed to perfection. Definitely pan seared and placed in the oven to finish. It was divine! Brussel Sprouts were just the right mix of smoky, salty, and sweet! The carrot cake was six layers of perfection! The cake was filled with golden raisins, nuts, and carrots. The frosting wasn't too sweet. It was the perfect accompaniment for the cake. I'm very grateful we spent our anniversary at Hyde Park. We will be back to celebrate our 21st!

A splendid summer evening dinner at the Hyde Park. Our first visit. Christopher made us feel welcome as did all the staff we encountered. We started with an appetizer of calamari. Very light breading on the large rings. Not the usual tiny extra crispy ones you might have ordered at other restaurants. They were combined with veggies in a slightly spicy sauce. Wonderful! We split a steakhouse chopped salad which was tasty. My wife ordered the petite filet simply grilled and I ordered a larger Cabernet filet. Both were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious. Our side choices were the sautéed spinach and mushrooms and whipped potato’s. Both good. We were pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of mushrooms in the dish. We expected more spinach. Parking is easy in the lot. We spent $150 but didn’t get any drinks. We’ll be back.

As someone who frequents Jeff Ruby's, we wanted to give HP a shot since moving to the area. The steaks were cooked absolutely perfect and were beyond words delicious. The lobster mac and cheese was the beat I've ever had... I went for the "best espresso martini you've ever had" for desert... I was skeptical when they brought it out..didn't pass the eye test per say.. yep.. dead wrong. It lived up to the hype. Phenomenal.

We enjoyed a perfect meal on Saturday night at Hyde Park in Dublin. Appetizers (calamari and thick-cut bacon) were delicious. Amazing cocktails with varieties of Manhattans to choose from. I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly, the sides were really good. You have to order the Potato Gruyère Gratin with every meal or you’ve made a huge mistake 😂. The service was exemplary. Manager Adam Williams stood out as being personal and professional. Thank you Hyde Park Dublin. We will be back!

We have wanted to try for so long! Finally we decided to go for our anniversary. We made reservations, upon arrival we asked if we were celebrating anything and we let them know. Very quickly they brought us to our table that had rose petals and a Happy Anniversary card. Our service was outstanding servers work as a team and were very attentive. We both had rib eye and tried the brussel sprouts lobster mac and cheese and waygu beef appetizer. Oh and the colossal carrot cake! Every single thing was perfectly cooked, seasoned and just hands down everything I dreamed it would be. Thanks for EVERYTHING we will 100% be back!

Visited to celebrate my son's birthday. Concerned because we were very casual, but we were treated great! I had the Japanese Wagyu and Australian Wagyu which were excellent. The Japanese Wagyu was the best steak I ever had and highly recommended. The service was also top notch. Our servers and the management staff went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience possible. My first visit was so great that I will definitely be a repeat customer! Highly recommended!

The Herbstreit, which is a 22 oz. bone in Ribeye was right up there with the absolute best steaks I've ever had! Whenever I come back to Columbus, I'll definitely pay a visit...

Great steaks. We had a 16oz rib eye and a 14oz NY strip. Med rare. Perfectly cooked. What you would expect from a high end steak house. Side items were large proportion. Enough for two easily. The lobster bisque was great. Not too sweet. The onion soup was one of the best I've had. Great service. We showed up in t shirts after working at a festival all day. But they didn't blink and treated us with top notch service. Highly recommend.

Experiencing Restaurant Week at HP Dublin at the bar was fantastic at 4:30 pm. It was a perfect way to celebrate a belated birthday gift. Laurie's consistent, always gracious hospitality coupled with Nick's charm is a great bar combo. The Cesar salad was crisp, the filet done to perfection and the chocolate torte a delicious finale! Note that the new lightly battered shrimp appetizer is a great prelude to the aforementioned menu items. The atmosphere, the music track, the service, and the food outstanding.

We always try to make reservations for a bar booth because we love to see Laurie, who is the heart and soul of the bar at Hyde Park. The food was great. Hyde Park has the best oysters on half shell in Columbus. My steak was a bit on the salty side. The service is the reason for us to come back, Laurie, Ashley, Pam, Scott, Bryan, Adam and Michael are all so welcoming that it feels like home. All in all we had a wonderful evening.

I have not been to HP-Dublin in several years as we live across town now in the Westerville area and the last time we paid a visit, we sat at the bar and the experience was lovely. Now fast forward, Dad lives in Powell and we found a second reason to return this time in the dining room with Chris as our server. I forgot how wonderful HP-Dublin is and we'll be back for the reasons shared below. My father is 82 and extremely particular. Why I LOVED having Chris as our server so much was how very on point he was from start to finish: he staggered our experience in a timely fashion, he was very clear in his communication and that was SO IMPORTANT to my father who does have hearing aids and at times, it can be challenging for him yet he never had to ask Chris to repeat himself even once. I have never had that experience with him when we are out for fine dining. The food was incredible. The service - back to Chris - was impeccable. Not even halfway through our HP-Dublin experience, my Dad said to me, "I like Chris a lot." Dad is retired FBI and let's face it - he can find fault with anything. He is pretty critical and very rarely is he ever impressed. Last night for dinner he was and that was super helpful for me and my husband as we always want Dad to be happy when dining out. Please thank Chris for us as it was a lovely dinner and we'll totally be back.

My husband and I visited Hyde Park on Frantz Rd, Dublin Ohio on 2-13-26 for an early Valentines Dinner. From the moment we walked through the door the staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed meeting the manager on duty as well as a visiting manager from Pittsburgh, Jeffrey Kaplan. Thank you Jeffrey for the great conversation and service you provided! The most excellent steaks. The Gruyere potatoes were unbelievably good. The service was great, waiter was fun and attentive. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back when we want a great steak. Everything was absolutely delicious. So glad we tried Hyde.

Our second time my wife and I came here for our anniversary. They go above and beyond by giving us a candle-lit table, a card, and special menus. Most if not all the staff will wish you a happy anniversary as they walk by. The food is always good, I hate to mention this but both my wife and my steaks were under cooked, but we didn't mind as we weren't able to finish them and we're going to be reheating them, however mine was only a little off, her steak was ordered medium with a push, and they gave her what was maybe medium rare, if it was even cooked that much. We didn't complain as I stated we knew we'd be reheating them. We loved the wine we ordered and the creme brulee is amazing.

The hostess helped make us feel welcome from the start. I had accidentally made a reservation for the bar and must have had a surprised look on my face. Adam, the maître d’ noticed and hurried to offer a table in the dining room even though I was fine. Ashley and the entire staff enjoy their job and it shows in their attentiveness. The oysters smelled and tasted like the ocean. The escargot was presented in a garlic butter sauce. I wish I would have ordered the toasted bread that is served with the appetizer without butter. My preference would be to toasted on both sides enabling the sauce to be soaked into the bread. The Tomahawk steak was perfectly prepared and served in a bed of thin, crisp fried onions. The Potatoes Gruyire Gratin brought memories of my mother’s. Thirty or more very thin layers with a beautiful bechamel sauce that I wanted just eat by itself. The highlight for me being a seafood lover, was the Chilean sea bass in lemon citrus sauce which I ordered on the side. The flavor was incredible and fish moist with a light crust. Overall, a memorable night.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner. The service here is unmatched and astounding. The desserts were beautiful and tasty. The mashed potatoes are incredible. The Cesar is delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We decided to try a sauce and do not recommend doing that. It really took away from the steak. Overall, incredible experience.

The service was great Dave was awesome he was our server it was great.but our lobster tail was slightly over done. Which is something I wouldn't expect coming to a place like this. So steer away from that. But my steak was cook perfectly and seasonal well and the service was awesome that's why I gave four star's. I hope this helps and good luck on your meal.

We went there without a reservation, and there were a lot of people there so we thought we wouldn’t be able to get seats. However, the manager was very kind and managed to prepare seats for us. The appetizers were great! I really liked the raw oysters and lobsters, and the steaks were also good. The desserts, on the other hand, were a little bit too sweet for us.

Nice place. This was my first time here. The appetizers were solid. The seafood was fresh and abundant. I tried several side dishes and they were all outstanding. I really loved the lobster mac and cheese & sauteed mushrooms. I had the ribeye medium. It was cooked perfectly. It was a good steak, I would have liked it better more seasoned and for a higher end steakhouse would expect better marbling, but it was solid overall. The desserts were all equally good. The service was on point. For the price value, I think I'll be back.

I was here for a private birthday event. The event and the food at the event were excellent. The food was amazing and the staff who served the event were top notch. My complaint is with the bartenders. The event was a cash bar and the two bartenders were very rude. The first experience was telling the bartender that we wanted to keep our tab open (because it was a cash bar). When requesting to open a tab, he said (very rudely), "I don't have time for that", and wouldn't allow us to keep a tab. The other bartender was very rude the entire event and she acted like every drink request was a tremendous bother. She went out of her way to ignore people who were trying to order drinks. She saw several in our party waiting to get drinks, but made a point of continuing to talk to her regulars. At one point, she carried on a conversation for over 10 minutes while people were waiting, and knew that people were waiting for drinks. In addition, we ordered an Old Fashioned, and she charged us $22, which seemed to be a further attempt to be passive agressively tell us not to order drinks by up charging us needlessly. If Hyde Park makes the party go to the bar to get drinks, then make sure that the bartenders are willing to help the patrons.

They do not offer fountain sodas. They give out these glass bottles that are $4.25 each for only 8 ounces. If I would have known this I wouldn't have gotten it. When asking about "refills" I was told they don't do them to be fancy. That irritates me so much. I've been to some high end restaurants before in London, NYC, Vegas etc and this glass bottle Coke and no refills is just wild to me. I ordered the pork chop and it took almost 45 minutes and it lacked flavor. All you could taste was char. We shared the 5 cheese Mac and cheese and I'm not sure which 5 cheese are used but it lacked flavor. There was no cheese pull. It had an awkward sweetness to it. Wouldn't recommend that side. On a more positive note the croutons in the salad were made in house and they were like mini garlic breads soft and pillowy. They were very good. The starter bread basket was ok at best. There's a ciabatta roll, pretzel rod and some crisp with everything seasoning that wasn't good in my opinion.

We enjoy dining there but if you like medium well & well done for your steak you will be disappointed because they only like to prepare the steak rare or medium rare. Everything else is great food & great service.

So the kiddo wanted to treat his mom to a fancy steak dinner for her birthday. We chose Hyde Park for its reputation and the menu. We sat, got our drinks, and then I swear, it had to be Candid Camera. The wait staff walked past us as if we weren't even there for about 25 minutes. We played fun conspiracy games predicting when they might come to take our order. We watched as different tables arrived after us were receiving appetizers or having their orders be taken. Once we got rolling, we got our food. The food was delicious. My wife could use another drink mid dinner, and once again, no one to be found. We took dessert to go, paid. I'd give 5 stars for the food and drinks, they were delicious. But that was terrible service. Hopefully, this was an off day.

My partner and I come every year to celebrate her birthday/ our anniversary and it’s usually spectacular, however this time was a little sub par. We were sat against a empty glass prep shelf in an awkward wall spot. Our table was wobbly Bread service only came with pretzel bread after asking 2 separate times. The ginger ale was completely flat with no carbonation. The bokchoi that came with the salmon was soggy and muhsy, the meat itself was not very flavorful but was okay. The steak I had had a fair bit gristle. The meal was okay..but for $103 I was expecting the usual incredible delicious delight. We drove 12 hours to come celebrate and left disappointed. I want to emphasize the service was fine, but so much was just lack luster that it will unfortunately be our last trip.

Very disappointing. The food was ok. The service was awful. Completely awful. Our waiter wouldn't even let us finish our drinks before they were trying to push us out the door and it didn't make sense because they weren't busy and it wasn't very late.We didn't even ask for our bill.It was just brought to us.No option for dessert.

I tried to come in the get dinner 8:45, I made a reservation they called me and asked if I could come in at 8:30. It’s my husband birthday and they don’t want to serve us because I canceled my reservation bc he wasn’t gonna make it home in time. We were going to be able to make it at 8:50 and they’re refusing to serve us because the “kitchen is closed” and the reservation was canceled. The worst service I’ve ever had, my husband said he loved their steak the week before but they served him a frozen A5 Waygu steak he paid a lot of money for. They had limited options for kids, limited appetizers and over priced steaks and wine. Also The server took forever to come to our table and was trying to rush us out when we spend hundreds of dollars. I’m in tears because they can’t serve us right now, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant. Sonic has better service and that’s saying something bc If you’re in the line at 11 they have to serve you.
