We had a fabulous dinner here tonight ! The sushi was very fresh especially Uni ( creamy and sweet ). Oyster shooter was so good we had to repeat the order ! We order a few more others items but they were so good we did not have time to take the pictures. Definitely will be back soon ! Service was excellent .

The place itself is in an Asian complex. The food was too good! Loved all their special sushi rolls. Atmosphere is casual and descent pricing. I would go back again! Quick tip- try to order anything that’s chef recommended.

Their curated playlist of rnb/ chill hop along with the interior of dark wood panels, off white walls, brown and wood ceramics create a bold but very warm comforting atmosphere. Rush hour can get lively but not chaotic in volume. We got one of the nigiri combos, some udon, and tempura. Fish is fresh, plus points for actually using grated wasabi instead of the powder mix. Tempura vegetables are cut thinner than usual, resulting in nice tender inside instead of dry. Sushi is where it at over here.

I ordered the unagi don, udon, and karaage chicken, and everything was solid—fresh, flavorful, and filling. The atmosphere here is a huge plus too. I used to go to the place it was before but the strong smell of cleaning supplies always ruined the meal for me. Shinkai Sushi doesn’t have that issue at all. It’s a comfortable place to actually enjoy your food. Definitely worth coming back.

This sushi restaurant is absolutely amazing! The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the textures are perfect. After the very first bite, I was so immersed in the delicious flavors that I almost forgot who I am and where I was.

Honestly some of the best sushi we’ve had in the area and at a very reasonable price! Loved every piece we got- not pictured was the chirashi, nigiri- red snapper & Hokkaido scallop, and the bluefin toro hand roll (highly recommend). The omakase special is 100% worth it with 8 pieces for under $40. Will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to try the sashimi sampler!

What I love about is finally someone in Dublin has some sense of using the real sushi rice instead of those regular rice. Make me want to return. Highly recommend their Uni! Outstanding. Sweet, Fresh and go so well with its fresh sushi rice. I will return again. If they change their rice back to the regular rice, they will lose my business along with all my network. Outstanding job to Xing. 💪

Always a good time at our favorite local sushi spot Shinkai Sushi. The food and service is always great! Weekends tend to be busy, but weeknights are a hidden gem with little to no wait. It’s cozy and inviting and we highly recommend this place! Kid friendly which is a plus.

I absolutely love coming Shinkai Sushi! My partner and I come to enjoy their fresh cut sashimi almost weekly! The staff are always so welcoming and kind and now know who we are when we walk through the door. Definitely a great spot to enjoy!

Fish is good, cooked food is even better. Staff is delightful and friendly. Good selection of sake. The wasabi is real, not horseradish. The owners are the most genuine and kind people you will ever meet. Definitely a must visit place.

Unexpectedly good and affordable sushi in the east bay. Omakase set was similar to amami and at a low price of <$40! Great apps and bites as well.

Some of the best sushi i have had. The special rolls were delicious and the sashimi just melts in your mouth. I also really like the freshly grated wasabi. I highly recommend this place.

Had an exceptional dining experience at this sushi restaurant! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The chirashi don was fresh and beautifully presented, with high-quality fish that melted in your mouth. The soft shell crab was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender inside – cooked to absolute perfection. The Lion King roll was a standout with its wonderful combination of flavors and textures. We also enjoyed the chicken kara-age, which was incredibly crispy with juicy, flavorful meat inside. The dragon roll was artfully crafted and tasted as good as it looked. Even the miso soup was excellent – rich, warming, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was clearly made to order. You could tell the kitchen takes real pride in their work. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, genuinely friendly, and took the time to help us navigate the menu with great recommendations. It's clear the staff really cares about ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic, fresh Japanese cuisine served with warmth and expertise. We'll definitely be back

Shinkai Sushi is a very good place for sashimis and nigiris. I was not expecting much from this place, but it honestly blew my mind after trying it out. We came in on a Sunday lunch time right after they opened. We tried 4 dishes: Shinkai Omakase Mentaiko Chicken Udon Chirashi Don Hotategai Crudo The omakase (8 pieces of Nigiri’s) were done perfectly. The fish was fresh, tasteful, and sliced neatly. The sushi rice was just the right amount and was seasoned very well (more on the sweeter side, which is what I like). The seasoning and toppings on the nigiri’s were mild and blended very well with the fish and rice. Highly recommend this dish. The Mentaiko Chicken Udon was just alright. The chicken itself was juicy and tender, but lacked a bit of flavor. The mentaiko on the udon was great, but can be very salty to some people. If you’re not a fan of mentaiko, then skip this one. The Chirashi Don, much like the omakase dish, was perfectly done as well. The dish had enough rice and enough fish for the price. I would come back here just to order this again. Highly recommend. The Hotategai Crudo was great, and I highly recommend this as well. The dish comes with a yuzu-ish jelly that blends very well with the sweetness of the scallops. The scallops were also torched, which added a smokey flavor and depth to the dish. If you like scallops, then you may like this dish. Customer service is excellent. The waitresses were all smiles and frequently checked on us to see if the food was to our liking. They were nothing but helpful and friendly to us. The only minor downside that I experienced was the wait time for the food. The food just took a little bit longer than I expected (around 15-20 minutes or so), but I did not mind the wait. I did notice that they had multiple to-go orders, so that could be a factor for the wait. Overall not a big deal. If you’re craving for some good sashimis, nigiris, or even some rolls, I highly recommend this place.

Came on a weekday during lunch and had no issues getting a table. The nigiri and rolls were super fresh and they didn’t skimp on the fish. We also got the chicken karaage - thought this was just fine. Also, love that they offer hot tea for free! Overall, happy we have a good sushi spot in this neighborhood!

I came hear on a mid-week at lunch. The place was relatively quiet and had very attentive and friendly staff. I found that the menu had lots of interesting options so i tried a couple unique things. The sushi was fine but frankly Dublin has a lot of competition for good sushi and I just dont think I was wowed by the food. Its definietly nice and I would consider going again. My faborite item was tha salmon salmon special roll.

The rice was very bad and tasted awful. The oysters were not fresh. People shouldn’t leave fake positive reviews. I will not be going back!
