The menu is pretty standard for American Chinese restaurants but not a bad thing. It’s like comfort food. Flavorful and delicious. They also give generous portions, and great service.

A classic Chinese delight. We tried their onion cakes, orange chicken, egg foo yang with veggies, and vegetable chow mein. Onion cakes were nice and crispy and a great way to start the meal. Orange chicken was still crispy when they served it in the sauce. Egg foo yang was my favorite and it came in a very very very generous amount. Vegetable chow mein was a tad more salty than our taste, but full of vegetables and tofu. This place is highly recommended if you are in dublin and craving chinese food. Also, they serve a generous amount of food, so very good value for money.

Amazing restaurant! It’s not very large and wildly popular, try and make a rez before you arrive. The owner saw we were football fans and took the time to chat with us about the upcoming games. Everything about their food is AMAZING. We are going back before we leave town!!

Went in with my family on a Monday to try out a new restaurant and let me tell you, I'm so glad we find this amazing restaurant. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bo. He is extremely friendly and really makes you feel welcomed and relaxed for an amazing dining experience. The staff and Bo are very attentive with checking in multiple times and making sure we have enough water. The food was AMAZING!!! Everything they brought out was delicious and fresh. There is not a single bad thing I can say about this restaurant. Mandarin Delight checks all the boxes. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Don’t expect anything fancy when you walk in, but don’t let the “look” fool you. I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese Restaurant in the Tri-Valley for the past couple years and haven’t had any success until today! My friends and I decided to take our chances after reading through the reviews, which isn’t something I normally do. Sometimes people are very unfair and rather than talk to the establishment about their experience, whether good or bad, they normally just post a bad review. I like to give a place an opportunity to make things right if I have had a not so great experience. This place from the start made you feel very welcome. Like I said, nothing fancy, but the warm welcome, along with the delicious food was perfect for what we were looking for. I asked for the Spicy Eggplant to not be too spicy and I added Prawns to the order as it didn’t come with meat. It came out piping hot in temperature, but perfectly seasoned. We each ordered the luncheon special and it came with soup, a wonton and I chose brown rice. So many restaurants have recently started cutting back on their portion sizes, that wasn’t the case here. After eating what I wanted, they packaged up each of our orders to take home. There was enough for another meal. I will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Coworker took me here for lunch and it's my favorite place to go for great Chinese food. This time was chicken w/green beans and steamed rice. Chicken was tender, green beans had a slight crunch, rice was sweet and fluffy, and the black bean sauce was delicious. Service is always great and fast. The atmosphere is slightly loud during the lunch hour on certain days of the week but it can be quieter and calmer on other days.

Bo, knows his Chinese food. Mandarin Delight is a must stop for us, whether its lunch or dinner. We live in Idaho (600 +miles away) and travel here to the East-bay to see our family and friends. Mandarin Delight is a must stop for one or two meals. And yes, we rave about Bo’s food back home in Idaho City. Whether we have pork, beef, chicken, Mandarin Delight has great flavors and everything is cooked to perfection. Service is fast, beer is cold and the food is very flavorful. I ordered the Garlic Chicken lunch (comes with soup of the day and a fried wonton) The garlic chicken is delicious and a good portion. The fried rice is flavorful without additional soy sauce. The chicken corn egg flower soup was delicious and comforting.

It was an intense experience. The service would come several times in less than a minute to ask if we were ready. We felt rushed when we were eating. They took things of our table and asked if we were done. It was a uncomfortable. But the food was great and the tea.

As I am exploring new place, this was my first time at this place. From outside, which seemed like a big restaurant, inside was small . Nice Chinese food options though.

Tried this to switch things up. Portions were plentiful! This place is no doubt a great value for the money. However the flavor of the dishes was lacking. Everything was a bit one note. Thought I must say the gentleman at the register who was packing to go meals was a delight! Shout out to him!

I understand that there are some restaurants that serve their food differently, I had ordered the chicken, and mushroom dinner plate , but the didn't put any vegetables in with the the dish, It was a pleasant restaurant, and clean. It has entertainment, as you can watch movies while eating making yourself feel like your at home watching TV.

After a morning of cherry picking, we were ready to fill our bellies with something good. However, the choices close to Brentwood on our way home were few and far between. We searched for something that seemed good and this place kept popping up. After a short discussion, and with nothing else to go on except the few reviews we found, we decided this would be worth the risk. After a short call to verify they would be open for lunch, we made our way. When we got there, we found them in a nondescript corner of there mall. Did we doubt our decision? Well, read on! We entered the place just about 1130h, their opening time. The place was empty, but we were welcomed with big smiles by the staff and promptly seated. We ordered their garlic noodles and the usual fare and were soon faced with a spread that smelled delish! We weren't disappointed. I must say that the food was quite tasty, the portions hefty and the ambiance quite pleasant. Soon after we were seated and enjoying our meal, we realized that the place had filled. Apparently, we found that we made a good choice because people were in and out ordering food to go and some, like us, sitting to enjoy their meal in house. I believe that a Chinese place where there is a line, is a sign of a good place to eat. Being the first customers of the day, had us worried a bit until the place awoke. That's when we knew we hit the jackpot. We will surely be back soon. We only live up the hill from here and are always willing to drive to special places like this. We'll be back. And will bring reinforcements. Thanks for the great service.

Food used to be better. Since they changed their name - and I guess ownership - the food is not the same. Too much soy sauce. Too salty.

Trying to figure out how this place has such a high rating.

We order from here quite frequently and have enjoyed the food in the past, but our takeout food today was pretty gross. The chicken was bland and oddly very round in shape and the garlic noodles were undercooked and extremely peppery (with two pieces of shrimp in the whole dish). This leads me to believe that the owners might’ve switched suppliers due to cost, etc, but nonetheless, whatever they have been doing differently has not been good at all. Their food is way too expensive to taste as bland and old as it did today. Not sure when / if we will be back, which is a shame because this was our favorite Chinese food place. 😕

The food was very basic and plain. It was only slightly better than our local Chinese takeout place. All four dishes tasted like they used the same basic sauces. The steamed fish tasted spongy, like it was frozen and then steamed. It was clearly not made from a whole, fresh fish—like something you'd order from a supermarket, pre-cut and frozen. I wouldn't return. I don't know how people give this place high ratings.

The food was great, the servings were huge and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was chill but I can't in good conscious give this restaurant a good review after I was racially profiled by the waiter. Me (white) and my girlfriend (korean) went to this restaurant today and were greeted well by the first waitress that came to seat us and gave us water. The both of us were very polite and so was the waitress, so far everything is great. However when the waiter came to ask us our order he asked my girlfriend first with a smile and was polite, however when he asked me for my order he not only side eyed the hell out of me but completely changed his attitude when talking with me. So far I'm thinking things are a little weird but don't think much of it. He comes by again and asks us if we want chopsticks, the both of us say yes, and he hands my girlfriend the chopsticks politely but when he gives them to me not only does he refuse to look me in the eye but he was super aggressive with giving me the chopsticks, as if he was disgusted with my presence. Lastly, when he came to give us our food he gave me my food first and then loudly made a comment towards my girlfriend saying "don't worry the chef told me to bring the best for last" likeee?????? This wasn't some form of flattery towards my girlfriend but disrespect towards me and his body language showed it. I have no clue what this mans problem was with me, me and my girlfriend were nothing but polite from the second we entered to the second we left. Even my girlfriend noticed something was wrong without me even mentioning it. If you're not East Asian and come to this restaurant don't find it weird if you're treated less than human.

If you a tourist then you are likely to enjoy this version of Chinese food, but if you are an efficienato with a taste for the real deal, it better that you skip this joint. My food wasn't prepared right, it wasn't cooked and they took it back to the kitchen for 3 minutes and brought it back, it wasn't edible.

We order from here quite frequently and have enjoyed the food in the past, but our takeout food today was pretty gross. The chicken was bland and oddly very round in shape and the garlic noodles were undercooked and extremely peppery (with two pieces of shrimp in the whole dish). This leads me to believe that the owners might’ve switched suppliers due to cost, etc, but nonetheless, whatever they have been doing differently has not been good at all. Their food is way too expensive to taste as bland and old as it did today. Not sure when / if we will be back, which is a shame because this was our favorite Chinese food place. 😕

Food is overly salty even though we requested it to be less salty. I found hair in my food.

Add at least 10 minutes to however long they tell you it will be for your order to be ready

We ordered takeout and the food is decidedly bland and flavorless. I ordered the "Three Kinds Of Seafood Deluxe" and it is basically ridiculous. Unimaginative with no flavor whatsoever. Photo attached.

I ordered hongkong style chow main and I’m very disappointed because the separate toppings for my take out chow main has only two shrimps 3 small scallops and 3 small pieces of squid /plus slices of botchoy almost $20.00

No respect for customers. Have a don’t care attitude. Asked for extra hot sauce the waitress was rude and said no extara sauce. It felt like discrimination as she gave extra sauce to the customer in front of me for pickup

I came to this place many times in the past, food used to be good along with service with prior folks who used to work here but it’s not the case any longer. I simply asked a Mongolian chicken with extra celery and no bell pepper and this new guy with so much attitude gave me rice and onions. There was literally no chicken or celery, when I asked to replace guy showed me attitude like I committed a crime. We left right away and will not be coming back.

I went inside today and this was my second time dealing with the same server. This is a new place for us and after our first visit we have usually ordered to go because the food is really good. The staff overall are very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately this server was the only negative experience I have had here. She was very rude and arrogant and honestly seemed disturbed in her demeanor. I refunded my food before receiving the item. I did speak with management about it because I did not want to leave without addressing the issue. I feel bad giving a low rating because the food and most of the staff are great, but this interaction was uncomfortable enough that it needs to be mentioned. I hope this is addressed because it is otherwise a really good spot.
