Hands down, one of the best biryanis in the Bay Area. We tried the Gongura Chicken Biryani, and it was spicy but super delicious. This restaurant has been our go-to restaurant in Tri-Valley
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We ordered Punugulu, Karivepaku Kodi Fry, Goat Pulau, and Tandoori Shrimp — all full of authentic flavors and cooked perfectly. Portions were generous, prices very reasonable, and the quality outstanding. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Telugu cuisine!
Went here with coworkers introducing me to Indian cuisine 2 months ago. Was craving some today and It was so good, the butter chicken was my favorite. I tried to order the same food that I tried two months ago but didn’t remember the name so the server who helped was a lifesaver. 10/10 recommend
Food is very good and the ambience is as well. Note: if you are a vegetarian must try Pulav with Guttu Vankayi. If you really want spicy veg curry try Gongura Paneer. Chutneys are good.

Biriyani was excellent and food was delicious. Sai Teja was super good in accommodating all our needs and made sure the food was served quickly! Highly recommend
One of the best Biryanis I had in the US. We ordered Cut Mirchi, Royyala Vepudu, Goat biryani and Curd Rice. Excellent taste and good service. All items were freshly prepared and we didn't mind the waiting time.
One of the best Indian food I had in recent times. We tried cut mirchi bajji, pepper chicken, pulav with mutton curry and biryani. Meat was so tender and juicy, mirchi bajji was so light soft inside and crunchy outside, pulav with mutton was the shows topper. We loved it and would return again
The food was incredibly delicious, every dish is good flavor and perfectly cooked. The dining atmosphere was warm, clean, and very welcoming. Perfect place for family or friends. Service was outstanding! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made it feel valued throughout the visit. Highly recommend this place🔥✌️
The food is absolutely delicious and truly satisfies your taste buds. While it has a nice level of spice, it's also full of flavor. I tried the Tandoori and Bucket Biryani, both of which were excellent. The Tandoori was a standout—it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, which is a refreshing change from the usual dry versions you often get. Highly recommend!

We've been here twice now, and it’s got a great vibe with plenty of seating. The first thing you'll face is the massive menu - so many options! I'd definitely recommend trying their Palandu specials, especially the Palanadu Biryanis and Pulavs. Surprisingly, we really enjoyed the tiffins here, and the chutney was absolutely amazing - it's hands down the best chutney in the Bay Area! The chef really excels in Tiffins. We had several biryanis and pulavs, and got mixed reviews since we ordered a lot, but overall, the flavors were solid. The Hariyali Chicken Kebab was tasty, and the Karivepaku Kodi Vepudu was exceptional—definitely a must-try. Just a heads-up, anything with gongura tends to be on the spicier side. All in all, it’s a must-visit spot with flavors that outshine many other places in the Bay Area.
The new lunch thali is good , except the palatalikalu desert was burnt and was evident the moment you keep it in the mouth. That tells they did not even taste it before serving

First time visiting this place, a simple ambiance that felt the restaurant was more inclined on Togo orders. The menu cards were dirty, with dried up curry spills all over. We did order the Gongura chicken which was nice and had good amount of spice in it. The garlic naan was pretty good to accompany with. The pulav was good but it did not have any saalan or raita. Overall the food was good.
We stopped here for a quick lunch after a road trip. The place has a nice ambiance, and we ordered mirchi bajji, home-style chicken curry, naan, and Vijayawada chicken biryani. The food was decent, with the biryani being my husband’s favorite. However, the service was disappointing—the server was slow, struggled with communication, and appeared uninterested. He even spilled water while serving and almost threw the check at us, which left a bad impression
We came here on recommendation from friends. Service was very slow. We ordered Apollo fish, baby corn manchuria, kona seema chicken biriyani, pulav with gongura panner. Starters were spicier than expectation. Pulao rice was good but found hair in it! Chicken Biriyani was good, gongura curry had no taste. Pick and choose your dishes carefully and you should love spicy food to eat here!

Had lunch buffet. Chicken & goat curry was on the hot side of avg spiciness. One person at table went running for yogurt after one bite. Problem with these two dishes is a lot of bones, and not much meat. Chicken Biryani is the other meat choice that is mostly rice. Then there are two other rice dishes, naan, couple of soups, couple of apps, and a veg dish. In the dining area they have Mr Beast playing loudly on the tv, and have fly tape hanging from the ceiling near the kitchen. This is probably one of those places where you don't want to see the kitchen. For $19+ after small tip, not worth it.

We went for buffet lunch on Saturday, the ambience was ok. The menu items is better than many other restaurants but the quality is not great. The starters were good especially the fish and chicken 65. The Biriyani was below average and I could the raw masala still in the rice, and tasted raw and unsalted. The coconut sweet was stale and spoiled.

I ordered sambar rice with kodi vepudu, but instead they gave me sambar rice and Charminar chicken fry as two separate items/orders and charged me a much higher price. When I questioned it, they simply said both are the same. I didn’t argue and just took the food. After tasting, the chicken was extremely salty and not at all enjoyable. The staff at the counter looked sleepy and uninterested, which added to the bad experience. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Worst service and food quality. 👎 Definitely not recommended.
This restaurant deserves a negative rating but as there is no option I’m going with 1. My friends and I came on a vacation to SFO and was returning and thought to pickup food and placed an order in Uber Eats. We have ordered 2 paneer biryani and 2 chicken biryani because they are vegetarian's. When I reached the restaurant I just asked if they carry a disposable plates the owner or the front desk person gave a rude answer instead of saying no politely. I have even asked how to check which one is chicken and which one is paneer because my friends are traveling to their home town and same with me. He said he has written on chicken biryani boxes and the one with out label is paneer biryani.we took out boxes accordingly and came back to our hometowns and realized that they labeled it wrong. My friends who don’t eat non vegetarian got chicken and they were about to eat but the smell hits different and called me to check mine and when I checked I got paneer biryani where it was labeled chicken in the box. What much more should I say about this worst restaurant.
Went here to try the food, as reviews were ok, but I doubt they were really written by people who tried the food or their friends. We ordered Pulav with goat fry and gongura paneer biryani, pulav was ok, goat fry was average, it was not fresh. Gongura paneer biryani was awful, just added gongura paste to paneer and rice, gongura was raw, when we asked about it answer was we mill make sauce kind of and will add it, so that is what it is. And there was little rice on top and full of raw uncooked gongura paneer paste, if u see pics u might understand. When we were not satisfied with what they gave us, atleast they should be sorry, but no they don’t want to get the other cooked one atleast but no, u need to pay without any questions asked kind of attitude. I have been to so many restaurants in different places atleast restaurants will make sure to fix it but these guys are not here to deliver food for what we pay for. We are paying money they are not doing any free service that whatever they give we should eat even it’s not prepared properly. I’ll definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
Please improve. Too pricey $12.99 !!!. Worst Taste . It’s supposed to be baby corn pepper “ FRY”. never gonna try this again.

I recently visited Palnadu Ruchulu in Pleasanton and while I really appreciate the authentic South Indian flavors — especially the Rajahmundry Shrimp Fry and Gongura Chicken Curry — I found the pricing to be quite unreasonable for a casual dine-in/takeout experience. To give some context: I paid $95.80 for a relatively simple order that included two entrees, a naan, one paneer dish, three rice items, and four Thums Up sodas. Just the sodas alone cost $15.96, which is steep at $3.99 per bottle — more than double what you’d pay even at Indian grocery stores. Even the plain white rice was billed $6.99 each, which felt excessive given its simplicity. The food was flavorful, no doubt, but the value-for-money just wasn’t there. Bottom line: If you’re planning to dine here, be ready for surprisingly high prices.

Ordered guntur chicken briyani and charming chicken fry. Briyani taste was good & median spicy as mentioned, but it was too oily. Charming chicken fry has stale chicken , pieces were hard and had foul smell.
We recently visited this restaurant for a buffet, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Most of the food items tasted spoiled and were not fresh. Even the biryani had excess water in it and did not taste good. Because of this, we could not enjoy the meal at all. After coming home, we experienced vomiting, which was very concerning.
I had lunch buffet on Sunday for a cost of $21. Surprised to see No Fruits or Juice in a Buffet. 2 deserts Junnu and mango sabudhana. Junnu is a powder one and Mango Sabudhana with burnt smell. Only one non veg biryani option. Goat curry with few pieces and 90% gravy. Starters are good. 21 in pleasanton to a high price. Purely disappointed with food taste, items and price.
