Are you looking for huge burgers and very crispy tasty wings? Then Grover’s is where you need to be. All there good is served in hearty portions. My next visit will be for their Friday fish fry. From the pics I seen, that dish looks a amazing. Serve was wonderful here and that’s always a good thing for me.
I’m here almost every week for the New England clam chowder 🥣 It is out of this world! Mary always makes me feel special - hi Mary XO Friday fish, whether it’s fried, broiled or however you like it is outstanding. The atmosphere is very welcoming.
Biggest baddest burger in the land! Get the bacon cheese burger soup if you're looking to put some weight on. In a good way! I would say soup tastes like a little slice of heaven, Hearty like gumbo.
Huge burgers. 13oz. Very tasty. Bring a good appetite. Staff were amazing. Our server was amazing and very helpful and very friendly. Full bar stool with locals and friends of the place. Lots of regulars lets you know it a good place to hangout, drink and eat.
Mid-day lunch, huge portions for all burgers & sandwiches, great servers! Special ambiance as Grover's sits on the site of 2 time POTUS Grover Cleveland's former hunting cabin. Besides being POTUS, Grover was the Sheriff of Erie County, Mayor of Buffalo, and Governor of New York! I think you can't go wrong stopping by Grover's!
This place was great! First come first served. You sign in on a chalkboard Just ask and someone will help you. Seems like a lot of locals come here. Good food and banter. It is ***CASH only***. I wish I knew that before coming. I had to hit up my kids for some cash. lol

Supposedly this place was Grover Cleveland’s hunting lodge. The place is way small so there is almost always a wait, but worth it. Our foursome loved our food and the portions are massive so come with an appetite! Cash only! The Friday fish fry included fries, potato salad, macaroni salad AND cole slaw. It was 🔥!
Great place to find a gourmet burger. The atmosphere is very cozy and can get very loud. Family friendly and good vibes everywhere. Place can get very loud so if you're looking for a quiet place to sit down this place is not it.
This place is fantastic!!! Cash only, so be aware and plan accordingly! Wife had the Southwest Chicken and I had a Philly cheese steak. Both were excellent! Their burgers are monstrously big. My family and I visited Grover’s Bar and Grill on 10/1/2025, and we had such a great experience. Our server was extremely polite, kind, courteous, funny, and genuine — she really made us feel welcome. I first heard about this spot years ago on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and I’ve always wanted to check it out. If Guy Fieri’s there, I’m there! The food lived up to the hype, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. CASH ONLY! We loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you!
We drove alllllll the way from Ontario just to try the cheese burger soup. And let me say this ....IT WAS SO WORTH THE DRIVE. We can't say enough about Mary ( there's just Something About Mary, our server 🤭). She is a gem! And the martinis! So yummy! Can't wait to come back. Highly Recommend!
This is a great little spot with tasty food an gigantic portions. I had been here before and had a great time but wanted to go back to see if it was still as good. It did not disappoint. The service was very friendly and attentive. It was a Wednesday and we were sat right away. The first thing you notice is that the burgers are all 13oz. All the other menu items follow the same proportions. While not a huge menu, it's a good mix. Al very tasty. The space is not huge but being a weekday, it was not busy. I would anticipate a little bit of a wait in the weekend. It's a great little space with an interesting history.

I don’t know why we haven’t been to Grover’s until now, but I’m so glad that we stopped there for dinner this evening. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and promptly taken to a table. Our waitress (we found out that she was the daughter of the original owner) was friendly, funny, and efficient. Our burgers were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly! We loved everything about Grover’s and will be back again soon.
I love this place. I’ve been eating here since high school. Of course their burgers are amazing, but so are their wings and soups. They also have great fish fry’s. Super fun super delicious place. The burgers are huge and delicious. I’d also suggest trying their cheeseburger soup it’s one of a kind.

As far as dive bars go, we give this place 5 stars repeatedly. We hadn’t been here in several years, but are pleased today (Sep 30, 2023) to taste that everything is still delightful. Wings are crispy. Burgers are cooked to order and prefect. Service is 6 stars. Keep up the good service, Grovers. We love you!! Please see pics.
The bleu burger is my personal favorite and will always get it. The party I was with got the “bring on the cheese” grilled cheese sandwich and the southwest burger. I was told the grilled cheese sandwich was very good and my girlfriend was extremely satisfied with the taste. However the southwest burger lacked flavor, the portion was very generous but it didn’t stand out compared to the other two options. Very satisfied nonetheless and will definitely return!
Grovors is absolutely fantastic. This no nonsense place has the best burgers and wings hands down. The staff are always great and they have plenty of gluten free options. The garlic Parmesan wings are the best. Yes that’s a medium rare burger! Burgers are made to order for your preferred doneness. This place has something for everyone. It’s cash only which can be a pain. Everything is top notch with excellent ingredients. We drive from Canada to go here all the time.
