Great place to eat and chill. I got the quinoa taco salad and a cup of coffee. I asked for mostly decaf and just some caff and the clerk said "no problem". Plenty of seating here and it's quiet. The menu is very diverse; you can get breakfast all day, and smoothies and coffee and tea of course. And salads and sandwiches. Note: their coffee is so good. You know most places it either doesn't taste like coffee or it tastes so burnt. Their coffee is the best I've had in a long time; hardly needed any cream and sugar to make it just right. 😋

An unexpectedly cool place in a quaint little town. Lots of yummy selections. Plenty of parking in back. If you're visiting check out Vidlers just down the street. One of the last five and dime type shops. It'll take you back in time.

Please please please get your regular Boylan Root Beer back (not the diet one). Their smashburgers are immaculate, and the food is ALWAYS worth waiting for. There is something for EVERYBODY HERE to enjoy. But here’s a tip for the owners. Bottled water should be ridden of. You already have clean water here and people have water bottles to bring with them already. What’s the point of having them here?

Great place for coffee and food but it is hard to justify how a breakfast burrito with sausage egg and some salsa should cost $15. I love to support local businesses but I think it might be a good idea to reevaluate the pricing.

Used to be our favorite place until the remodel. We've tried both dining and takeout multiple times and unfortunately been disappointed every time. The remodel has ruined the whole vibe of this place. It used to be a cute and cozy cafe where you could sit and enjoy your drink. The remodel made it claustrophobic and too loud. The sound dampening is awful so you can barely hear yourself talking. The food pick up area is a mess. Not sure why they thought having the food pickup, garbage, bathroom, kitchen, and entrance, all in one spot was a good idea. I feel like I'm in the way of everything. The service is subpar. We always notice our food is done and we'll patiently wait because we understand that it's usually busy and that employees have other things to do. Everytime we have gone in there we have waited so long until our food got cold or we straight up had to stop them halfway through what they were doing to get our food. The employees will not acknowledge you once you're at the pick up window. The price of the food has gone up while the quality has gone down. I can't believe I have to spend $9 on a small drink. I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews but taste has gone downhill quickly and it's rather disappointing.

This used to be a gem of an establishment, but sadly, over time, the quality of the food has really declined. I always used to order the Cali Dreamer, but recently it’s been consistently disappointing. The lettuce is often old and brown, the guacamole or avocado tastes anything but fresh — more like something from a gas station — and key ingredients are either missing or barely there (like no corn or very few beans). For the price, it’s just not worth it anymore. Also, after the remodeling, the café lost much of its original charm. It now feels a bit too sterile and impersonal inside. It truly pains me to write this review, because this was once a fantastic coffee shop with some of the best food around, but unfortunately, it’s gone downhill over the last few years. On the bright side, the coffee is still great. Response to owner: You may not have changed the recipe, but it seems the ingredients have changed in quality — which has significantly affected the overall taste and freshness of the food.

I love the coffee here, but every time I visit, they seem chronically under-staffed. The staff is always friendly and pleasant, but so overwhelmed by how busy it gets. I ordered two coffees online yesterday, and arrived at the time I was told it would be ready (30 minutes later) and still had to wait over 20 minutes after I arrived to pick up an online order. It had taken just short of an hour for two coffees because there was only one staff member who could make the drinks and a huge line full of people. I hadn't been here for a while because of this issue before and figured that I would give it another try since they just redid their building, but now I don't know that I will be back. This is not a complaint about the staff, they did the best that they could but just seem ridiculously understaffed for the amount of business that Taste always gets.

Usually one of my goodness to coffee shops in the Village. Not sure what happened yesterday, but the speciality coffee area was out of control. People waiting 40 minutes to an hour. Workers walking around wiping counters when there was a line of people waiting at the coffee bar and very frustrated. One worker just standing. Seems like a management issue. They were completely overwhelmed and unprepared.

The woman with red hair was rude and stuck up. Offering no customer service and was bothered when I went to the wrong spot to pick up my food. The Mac and cheese was watery and the grilled cheese was mediocre. A sandwich, grilled cheese, smoothie, and a coconut water for 60 dollars. Never again

I was really looking forward to eating Taste Bistro, but unfortunately my experience was terrible. The chicken in my dish was visibly undercooked, which is not only unappetizing but unsafe. The home fries were also undercooked and the “home fry bowl” had absolutely no flavor — bland, soggy, and poorly seasoned. For how expensive the menu is, I expected a much higher standard. Instead, I left disappointed, still hungry, and frustrated that I paid so much for such poor quality. I won’t be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone.
