The food here was really good! It was super busy and I couldn’t get a reservation, so I grabbed a seat at the bar instead. I had the bacon, the Wagyu lasagna, and the Cacio e Pepe corn — all were delicious. The lasagna portion was a bit small, which was a little disappointing, but overall everything hit the spot. The decor felt a bit dated — kind of that old-school steakhouse vibe — but it worked with the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try one of the steaks next time.
GALE WAS AWESOME Palm Restaurant absolutely delivered an incredible experience for our group. We came in with a pretty rowdy crew—lots of energy, laughter, and big appetites—and the staff handled it all with total professionalism and warmth. From the moment we sat down, our server made us feel welcome and never missed a beat, even with all the chaos at the table. The service was top-notch: attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure every order came out exactly right. The food was phenomenal—perfectly cooked steaks, delicious sides, and everything served hot and fresh. They kept the drinks flowing and the vibe positive the whole night. It’s not easy to take care of a loud group with class and patience, but The Palm nailed it. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, and we’ll absolutely be back. Huge thank you to the entire team for making it memorable!
No reservations? Head to the Palm’s Bar! Great menu, great service, cozy and warm room!
If you're looking for a classic dining experience, The Palm is a fantastic choice that never disappoints. Their steaks are consistently delicious, especially when paired with their tangy chimichurri sauce. The fried onions are a standout appetizer—crispy, flavorful, and incredibly addictive; once you start, it's hard to stop. The wedge salad is a solid option as well, providing a crisp, refreshing complement to your meal. Additionally, The Palm boasts a well-curated wine selection for enthusiasts. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
Everything was wonderful. From the blueberries mojito to the steaks perfectly cooked. The cauliflower soup was amazing .I just loved it. And though Im not a huge fan of calamari, I couldn't get enough. Lastly, all the staff were just wonderful and right on top of all needs.
We had dinner at The Palms for my wife's birthday. The food, service & venue were excellent. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
The Palm is always great and consistent. Joe is the best bartender. The shrimp cocktail is the best in the Hamptons. I hope that Landry doesn't ruin this steakhouse like they ruined Morton's after they purchased it.

A pleasant surprise. New management has made some great changes.
Fantastic meal. We started with the calamari, which was excellent. Our server, Gail, could not have been more delightful or charming. I had the sea bass, my companions had the lobster ravioli and the chicken parmesan. Wonderful meal!
This place is an absolute gem! Matthew the manager was so welcoming when we walked in the door. The food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!
Great meal and great experience!! We will definitely be returning customers!
Fantastic service! Food was very good recommend lobster, chicken parm and steaks!!! Sides were in abundance and very tasty!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Palm in East Hampton. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm smiles and immediately felt welcomed by the managers Matthew and Rebecca. The The service was great. Our server, was friendly and attentive. She took the time to explain the specials, and even gave her own recommendations. The staffed allowed us to savor each course without feeling rushed. For the main course my wife and I ordered the Summer Lobster Special. We started with a lobster bisque and a Cesar salad. We also ordered garlic mashed potatoes and cream spinach. Dessert was of course the famous house made tiramisu. Overall I would say it was a great Sunday evening spent in East Hampton at The Palm.
Always a great time at the Palm. The service is astounding and the restaurant week menu a great value. Most consistent place in the Hamptons.
Had dinner at the bar over the weekend. The bartenders were great. Spoke with Chris the GM and he was very friendly, I miss the old decor but I’m happy they have kept the old Palm standards.
They do brunch now…and it’s amazing! Went with a group of friends and started with the whipped ricotta, then crab Benedict which I ordered was sooooo good… tried a bite of the lemons blueberry pancakes, lobster roll, and eggplant parm - all fantastic! Bring your appetite as portions are generous, but not overwhelming. Of course had a few mimosas and tried the yummy watermelon margarita as well! Met the manager, Chris, who stopped by our table to see how everything was - he and his team were very friendly and right there if we needed anything despite the busy holiday weekend. We’ll definitely be back!!
We came to The Palm East Hampton right after I proposed to my girlfriend (she said yes!) and it ended up being the perfect place to celebrate. I had let them know ahead of time why we were coming, and from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Chris Gilman, the general manager, was absolutely amazing — warm, thoughtful, and went out of his way to make us feel special. The entire team made the experience feel personal and celebratory. They even surprised us with complimentary desserts, which was such a sweet touch (literally). It was a beautiful experience from start to finish, and we left with full hearts and full stomachs. Huge thanks to Chris and the entire staff for helping make an unforgettable day even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
We dined for the first time at The Palm in East Hampton. When we walked in we were greeted by Matthew, who was friendly and welcoming. He is asset to your organization. He led us to our table and introduced us to our server, who was also very attentive & took good care of us. The evening got better and better. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We are looking forward to my next reservation in May.
Fantastic. Best dinner of quite a few during two week stay in East Hampton. All six diners very very pleased. Service impeccable. Left everyone in our group awed.
The new Sunday brunch is terrific. Friends and I enjoyed a delicious, fresh meal - lots of unique choices - festive, filling or simple. Gail was such a great server. The whole experience just invited us to return. The brunch and Happy Hour make The Palm a great go-to!
We were a group of 6 and there were zero problems or issues. The food was amazing. A group of 4 of us ordered a tomahawk steak and a Waygu and it was the perfect amount of food with 2 sides. The calamari was great and the bacon app was also delicious. As allways amazing.
Haven’t been to the Palm in a while…. We popped in Friday evening, sat at the bar, and happy to report that it’s back to its best!! Steak was perfectly cooked, martinis were delicious, service was top notch! If you’re in East Hampton over the summer, put the Palm high on your list!!
My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at The Palm East Hampton, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that was both elegant and romantic. The service was impeccable—our server, Elizabeth, anticipated every need, ensuring that our evening felt truly special. The attention to detail was remarkable, making us feel like VIPs throughout the night. As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. Started with the calamari fritto and ended with the Porter House for two. Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. From the first bite to the last, we were completely delighted. Can’t forget the delicious house made tiramisu! If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding service, a romantic atmosphere, and unforgettable cuisine, The Palm East Hampton is the place to be. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for such a special occasion!
The palm at The hunting inn on main Street in Easthampton is our go to place. Recently, we had a rehearsal dinner there for about 18 guests. We were in a separate room that was just renovated in classic style. Staff was great from the bartender up to management. Hors d'oeuvres were excellent (especially the crab cakes, worth the buy up) and despite most of the guests ordering the larger fillet, guests that had the chicken cutlet parmesan could not stop talking about how great it was. Tiramisu for dessert was perfect and plentiful with tons of juicy, moist flavor (I know that sounds weird). What more can I say? You must go for yourself...
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. From the menu, pick whatever your fancy as it will not disappoint. A friendly and welcoming staff starts with mgrs Chris and Matthew. And that hospitality and attentiveness to detail and service is seen throughout the staff. They simply get it right - Lou
What a gem of a place! We’ve been to other Palm locations but this one exceeds all high expectations. We were welcomed by the stellar hospitality of Matthew and Chris the moment we walked in. We felt their pride and care for this beautiful establishment. They even checked up on us to make sure everything was going well throughout our meal. Everything ran smoothly and professionally. The food was delicious and top notch. Our wonderful server Gustavo was attentive, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We could have not asked for a better experience. We are so grateful for the way we were treated and look forward to many more visits in the near future. Thank you Matthew and Chris for creating such a terrific place!
My wife and I visited The Palm in East Hampton for Valentine’s Day! We didn’t have a reservation but we decided to take a chance and walk in at The Palm. We were offered a table in the newly renovated lounge/ bar area. It was perfect. The food was great, the service was great. We truly loved our Valentines Day experience
I had dinner on Saturday night with a buddy of mine. We both were very surprised that we just walked in and we got a table. I remember a few years ago you had to have a reservation on the weekend if you wanted to get a table. I really enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and my friend enjoyed the NY Strip. It was very lively in the dining room but it was still easy enough to have a conversation. Our server was very nice, and she took the time to recommend a few dishes. We had two managers come and check on us during our dinner, that was a great touch they both wanted to make sure we were taken care of properly. The chocolate cake is different than I remember but it was very enjoyable.
I love the Palm in East Hampton. I love the food, I love the service, and I love everything about the place. I wasn’t happy when they got rid of the bacon back in the day, but now that it’s back I can’t say enough good things about it. The steaks are always delicious, the specials are great, and it remains one of my favorite restaurants on the East End of Long Island.
Really enjoyed my experience at The Palm. Rebecca was very sweet and welcoming. The service and food was great. I really liked the selection of bread that comes to the table. Garrett I believe was our waiters name, he was awesome. We had the lobster special which was a great deal.
Food is fantastic. Atmosphere is great as the building is very old and historic. The service was top notch with a great balance of service but not rushed. The only downside is the chairs are extremely uncomfortable small old wooden chairs. Give the location clientele and status of this restaurant I would think more comfortable chairs would be in use.
The dropping a star is because you need to bring your own flashlight to read the menu and bill! Fabulous chef! Enthusiastically helpful and sufficient staff. Fqbulous building annotations. A wonderful place for a special event
The creme brûlée and cocktails were phenomenal. The Chilean sea bass was ok — very “fishy” without flavor but well prepared in texture. A very nice, cozy atmosphere.
Jumbo lump and the crab cakes were awesome... Porter house for two medium was perfectly cooked.. pink on the inside. Delicious.
Nice old school vibe at this main stay. Had the Prime Strip, and it was delicious.
It appears to be overcrowded with the tables. We were seated by the kitchen door and my table mate sitting “ in the isle” kept getting knocked into The food was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. Service seems slow and priority seemed to be given to the table next to us with about 7-8 people and we were only a table of 3 and we felt ignored
We had received a lot of hype from our friends about this restaurant, I honestly believe they were talking about the one in the city because this one was pretty much a big disappointment. Our server was terrible, he was inattentive and didn’t even know the menu well. I will say that the bus people in food runners did a pretty good job, but the waiter left a lot to be desired. My son ordered the lamb porterhouse which he was extremely excited to try because he had never seen that on a menu before, and it came out raw. We had to send it back to be re-cooked. One time was enough for us. We will not go back.
Me and my fiancé went for Valentine's day... In my opinion was not worth $262.60. We did the valentines day special which was a 4lb lobster and a ny strip steak. The lobster was excellent by the steak was lacking seasoning. It also came with an individual appetizer and dessert. The staff was ok at best. Did not come over to check on us. Also if you go prepare to spend $9.50 on a large bottle of water
We asked for almond milk, and they bring us regular cow milk. Tiramisu, coffee and gratin was so bad, we didn’t finish them. Other food was average
If you go expect that you lamb entrée will be expensive and the portion size will be very small. Also, the classic Gigi salad now has been reduced to a rectangular long plate, which is difficult to eat out of and the portion size is dramatically reduced from past ownership. They continue have good wine selections however I don’t drink wine, but my other guests did I’m guessing if you have a keto diet, this is a place to go, but be prepared to have deep pockets, you may leave hungry unless you gobble down the bread, but then you’ll defeat the ketogenic intent.
We were given a gift card by the previous owner that had no expiration date written on it, yet the current manager stated that it was expired(did not say as of when). Considering the gift card was a fairly small amount - it would barely cover our steak, it would have been in good taste to make an exception. Surprising for what I believe to be a successful establishment. The drinks, crab risotto, tuna, steak and service were very good, we just thought refusing the gift card was tacky. In the managers defense, he did offer us a complementary funnel cake which we politely declined😂
Sadly things have changed. A Longtime family favorite for a dependably delicious meal and charming ambiance, The Palm EH seems to be going downhill quickly. Our last two visits for dinner have left us confused and very disappointed as to what is happening to this special landmark restaurant and hotel. Starting with the renovation which has robbed all the charm and character from the bar, fireplace room and even the lobby. It looks like a Marriott, with cheap furniture. So very sad to loose the special feeling of sitting in those rooms drinking a cocktail or a glass of wine. It now feels like you could be anywhere -nothing special. The service is good, however the food is very average. Several of our steaks were not cooked to order and all in our group agreed but ate them anyway so as not to hold up the dinner. With so many other local restaurants to choose from, and the lack of ambience at the bar, we won’t be coming back anytime soon.
So disappointed to see the change in the design of the bar area and the back dining room. I have been a patron of Palm East Hampton for many years. The booths were removed. They were very charming. Unfortunately, they were replaced with tables that look like they belong in an airport lounge. The lighting at the bar was changed and is blinding if you are sitting on the end of the bar as they put in strip lighting. The overall aesthetic now is more modern Holiday Inn and less steakhouse. A number of my friends have had the same reaction. Please, let’s go back to the Palm!
We were in the one in Atlantic city and the food was amazing this wasn’t what we were hoping for the crab legs were hard and chewy the steak the same he only good thing was the oysters I feel very disappointed we drove 2 hours just to eat at this place and the waiter was a very nice guy
We had a rehearsal dinner and were talked out of the drink package with the event coordinator. This place totally screwed us and charged us WAY MORE $$$$$$$$ than we were expecting or more than was actually drank!!! Totally ripped us off. Food was great, servers were great, customer service as far as the end of the night to finish with the bill, TERRIBLE!!! They were even trying to charge us more money for children who barely ate chicken fingers and French fries.
We attended with a large party and the chef screwed up over and over again. First off, we have been coming to the palm every summer for the last 20 years with this group. - Chef sent out a Rotten Steak - Chef overcooked medium rare steak then patron sent the steak back and the chef made the waitress bring it back out saying it was cooked correctly (it was well done) - Didn’t bring 3 people’s meals - Never brought 13 sides (included them on the bill) - Forgot an appetizer On a more positive note the wait staff did an excellent job trying get these issues remedied but the Manager and Chef completely dropped the ball.
Honestly not a great experience, i was very excited to try it out because the lady at the rolex store recommended it to me. Was having a great experience up until the main course came out. Appetizers and drinks were great but my steak came out extremely well done when i asked for medium rare. And all the sides were luke warm at best. Spinach was ice cold. Needless to say ill never be back. Unfortunately my girlfriend broke up with me too because of this horrible experience. 0/10
We ate there recently and while the food was average for the price, and the atmosphere good, the service was NOT good. Plus our waiter slammed a $25 loyalty membership on our bill. He apparently forgot to tell us that membership cost $25!....I had the front desk reversed the charge. More importantly, we ate ate early when hardly anyone was there, but service was terrible. We could not get water, extra napkins, or reorder a drink. No bus boys were present. We could see three other waiters chatting, but none looked our way. While our waiter was a nice guy, we rarely saw him. Overall, much better places in the Hamptons to dine at. We have eaten at other Palm restaurants in different states, but this was very disappointing.
