We attended an event to celebrate the life a a close family relative/friend at Barbagello's. The staff provided excellent and caring service to us and the family that attended.

Other than being set in a banquet hall of a hotel the food was great and service was fine. The portions are huge. The buffalo chicken sandwich was very good.

Love this place. I spend most of my time at the bar socializing with coworkers. I’m not much of a drinker so I usually only get a blue moon or two. The food is great here but the staff are what makes it amazing. Pam and Michelle put up with all of us Naglers and the world famous Tommy and still keep a smile on our faces. I’ve never gotten my bill and thought “there’s no way I spent this much.” Like almost every other bar/restaurant. Their other bartender Danielle is usually done before I get there so I never get a chance to propose to her, but I’m pretty sure from the 30 seconds I talked to her one time, she is my soulmate... they have a private room away from the bar too we had our company banquet at and everything was spectacular if you need a place to host. They also have a dart board, QuickDraw and a Music player (not sure what they’re called but you can download app and pay n’ play from there) or old fashion way

I went to Home Depot of Dewitts company party. There was some awesome food, prizes, and company. The people are, of course, fun and friendly and the music was that bad. The food was good. Salad, veggies, potatoes, ziti, meatballs, fried chicken, and roast beef. The desserts were awesome and lots of fun was had.

Always a pleasure to have lunch at the tavern. My team and i eat there one a week atleast. Never had a bad meal or interaction. Brandy is a great bartender and makes sure to get your order right everytime.

Went there for lunch with a group of about 15. Service was a bit slow, but they seemed busy so I understand. All I got was a bowl of clam chowder but it was so good I got a second bowl. I'd definitely recommend this place and hopefully I'll be back soon!

Nice breakfast buffet! Juices, coffee, etc. Yogurt, Hardboiled or Scrambled Eggs. Make your own waffles, bagels, sausage patties - my favorite, cream cheese, etc. Very clean & comfortabke, spacious area to eat! Lots choices, but I did not eat much.

Was there for an expo on safety equipment all with electronic sensitive devices. The lunch buffet was exceptional. Pasta, chicken and sausage were hot and tasty. Nice garden salad with different types of vegetables to go along with the salad. Very good meal.

Ordered for the first time and was very shocked. Ordered the Barbagallos pasta , I thought I was eating my Italian grandmas pasta! The sauce was better than Spaghetti Warehouse and Twin Tree's! I will be making this my go to for Italian food for sure!

I attend a banquet at Barbagallo's every year and the service is always excellent. The food is generally very good especially so considering we had a buffet style meal. I highly recommend looking into their facility when planning a large party. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the prices as I don't pay full price.

Never been here before; no particular reason why, on line with one of those food coupon sites, was offered a promotion coupon, for a reasonable price, one comment to that some places that do take them, don't train the help in their use, gladly Barbagallo's did, which is a great inticment to focus on a place you may not have been too. The Lenten Fish dinner, was both well prepared and portioned as well as the sides were home 🏠 made.

I was there with my girlfriend and parents for their bowling banquet and while we were there I had stepped out to vape and when I came back my plate was taken and the rest of the banquet food was taken away. I wasn't finished with my plate. I went into the kitchen to ask if they still had my plate and they said they didn't. It was a very nice polite interaction so I had went back to my table and not 5 minutes later the woman brought my a plate with everything that they had on the buffet on it. It was a very nice thing to do and showed how thoughtful they are. A+

Had a beautiful birthday dinner with hubby, my brother and his wife. As usual the fish and mac and cheese were outstanding. Always is at Barbagallo's.

Dining room and bar area for lunch and dinner two other large rooms for larger group meetings and or gatherings and... Food is good and reasonably price... They have a great wait staff....

We were hungry and tired when we entered this bar/restaurant. The bar area was full of local folk, which could be a bit intimidating, but these folk were friendly and welcoming. And the food was the best! Sausage and meatballs with a red sauce, absolutely delicious. Our server was very nice, as well. The chicken parmesan was also a hit. I drank a perfect glass full of cab, and I do mean full. When we left, folks said good-bye to us! It was a very wonderful way to end our visit to central NY and the Adirondack mountains.

I bought take out for a gathering. I had the chicken pieces baked. I believe it was Italian Chicken. I can't tell you how many people asked us where the chicken came from. They said it was the best chicken they've had. Danny made the chicken pefect! I had more people tell me they were going to get there chicken there. His prices are very fair and everything tasted amazing! I would definitely recommend Danny/Barbigallo. Get the chicken!!!

I have always been a fan of Barbagallos. Through the years I have gone there I have always been satisfied with my meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is casual and there is outdoor seating if you wish, but most importantly, the food is delicious and they have good daily specials. There is a full service bar, too. In closing, I highly recommend this family owned restaurant and tavern for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. If you're in the area, try them out

Great place to grab a few drinks and some finger food. My family & I stayed at the Sleep Inn for the weekend and decided to grab a drink at the restaurant right next door once we arrived. Definitely recommend. Good vibes, great service, and loved the atmosphere.

Aubrey, the General Manager, went above and beyond for our wedding reception on 10-16-21. She was amazing with communication throughout the entire planning process and made sure the day was all about us, the bride and groom. Also the food is phenomenal.. she even packaged up leftovers for us. She truly thought of everything and she was a pleasure to work with!

Excellent And Very Accommodating Restaurant .... Although this restaurant does not offer vegetarian options on its menu. The staff was extremely helpful. Dan (who is one of the owners of the restaurant and the attached Sleep Inns & Suites) could not have been nicer. He went our of his way to make sure that my wife and I and our friends from North Carolina had a great meal and an extremely pleasant evening. Dan made sure that each of us had exactly the kind of dinner we wanted, even though our choices were not all on the menu. He saw to it that the menu items we chose were all modified to suit our respective requests. All four of us had a wonderful evening with excellent food. Thank you again, Dan. This is a family owned restaurant and it is clear that the family really wants their clientele to be happy.

We hosted a family party for about 25 adults and a few kids. They put us in the Ivory room and everything was very nice. Every stage of the planning was super easy, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone from the kids, to my 95 year old dad had a good time.

Part of it is like a tavern with good food a small room on the side The other part has two large rooms for small medium to larger groups They will do parties and get togethers and like that food is very good and reasonable.... There's a good wait staff there bartenders and waitresses alike...

I love this place! I come here every year for a fund raising event. There is always a huge crowd, but the staff here can handle it, efficiently, and politely. In past years, we had a sit down lunch, usually involving chicken. This year we had a buffet, with a big variety of food that was very good. The fried chicken rivals any that I have ever had, anywhere, even homemade! The staff was very attentive, refilling items on the buffet as needed. There was a wide variety of desserts. Delicious! I have never dined here outside of this event. But if the food and service is amazing on such a large scale, I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming in with a family!

I worked here for a long time so I may be a little bit partial but the food is always delicious the service is always friendly and if you get hammered at the bar or wedding or whatever you can just check into the hotel that is connected hahaha the rooms are very comfortable and clean they all have a mini fridge and a Keurig which is nice I believe there was a microwave too but I'm not quite sure they definitely put out a good continental breakfast and are good central location to pretty much any Highway in the area

Barbagallo's is a great space. This facility can accommodate a wide variety of customers' requests and needs, from large parties and overnight lodging, to a chill atmosphere to met one or two friends.

Not enough staff on hand to handle the event. Food was good, space was appropriately set up. And the staff they had were friendly and very accomodating.

It might not be fair to judge a hotel and restaurant by its New Year's Eve package, but for my holiday experience there, Barbagallo's certainly deserves high marks. Spacious, comfortable room, courteous and helpful staff, and a clean environment combined to create a warm and inviting place to rest, and the restaurant provided a wonderful evening of delicious food and entertainment. I would absolutely stay here again.

I went on lunchtime on a work day and ordered from the specials menu (I had the Hot Honey Chicken Salad), and it was very good. The wait time was reasonable and the waitress was nice. I might go again if I'm in the area.

I read reviews on this restaurant and was quite nervous about eating here. My experience was exceptional despite the few negative reviews I read. The waitress came over within a minute of my wife and I sitting down to get our drinks; she then gave us enough (but not an extended amount of) time to take our orders. The food came out much faster than I would have expected and it was delicious! I don't know if the owner read the reviews and amped up the service but I was blown away. I'm giving four stars ONLY because the of the outside presence, but once you walk inside, you'll be blown away by the atmosphere! I truly think that's unfair but I don't want to be misleading to you, the one reading this.

We went to barbellas to have a quick lunch to celebrate my birthday. The staff was great as we took our time because of the special event. My brother ordered a panini and he enjoyed a tremendously. I ordered a sandwich and it was perfect. Service was fast friendly and I would recommend this restaurant for a good lunch. Prices were moderate compared to other restaurants I've been to in the area. For a great time good food and friendly service go to barbagallos. You will be surprised by this little hole in the wall in a Syracuse The restaurant was clean however hasn't been updated in years I would have given it five stars if the restaurant had been updated

Went here for a work lunch and I had the buffalo chicken wrap for and a iced tea. It was fantastic, will be back. Sat at the bar and the bar tender was very fast at taking our order and getting it to us.

Office holiday party here a few times including this year (done in January). So, a very nice bar with great, friendly staff, an attached banquet room AND HOTEL!! The food was good but average (I've only had the buffet). GREAT PLACE for someone travelling (I live in the area) or if you want a night out with/out the drive home, reasonable rates on the rooms as well.

This is a nice comfortable bar restaurant co-located with the Sleep Inn. It offers patio and inside seating. The service was fast and friendly. It has a large selection of beers on tap at reasonable prices, $3.25 for Yuengling and $4.25 for Blue Moon. We enjoyed excellent chicken tenders ($8.00) but were a little disappointed with the pizza. The pizza toppings were excellent but the crust was tough and wet. ($20 for 16" with five topping selections.)

I get dinner here every month when I'm at the hotel and the wings are always nice and big but never have enough hot sauce. Dry and boring. Come on! Spend an extra 25 cents on those $16 wings and make them tasty!

Was staying at the attached Sleep Inn for the weekend and decided to mossey on over for a cold beer before bedtime. To my surprise, the bar was quite busy with local patrons and the atmosphere was friendly and upbeat. Not what I've experienced at Hotel's that have adjoining restaurants on them. Beer was cold, service was great. Was too late to order and food so cannot comment on that. A refreshing experience to say the least.

The food is decent in the banquet hall, nothing to make it stand out from other halls. But the large bar in the banquet hall dose make it nice. Although if you need cash you do have to go outside the building and into the bar.

The server gave us the wrong wraps. She asked if we wanted fries and we declined yet both wraps came with fries and on asking why, she said it usually comes with it. To my surprise, the bill came and we were charged for fries. I just had to pay and leave it had been a long day for me already before then. I may not visit again.

Visited for a luncheon and dinner seminar. The service was good at lunch. But at dinner the staff were alerted to a serious food allergy. The waitress served food that contained the allergen in question. Poor communication btwn kitchen and server. She felt absolutely horrible to the point of giving us a gift card for our next visit. NOT HER FAULT! She worked so hard with only one other server to work a crowd of 50 plus people. Both ladies were pleasant.

Had a 70th wedding anniversary here, nothing to write home about. Food was below average. They couldn't even use fresh steamed vegetables we had frozen. The meatballs were frozen. I think the only fresh food we had was the roasted chicken. The decor is very dated.

Went for Christmas party. Food was buffet as usual. Best fried chicken I've ever had. Bby potatoes were delicious. Mixed veggies tasty but way under cooked. Had to cut stems off to eat. Roast beef meh.

Ordered a ceasar salad for pick up, they forgot the ceasar part of the salad. It’s just dry lettuce for lunch now

Traveling to Syracuse and needing dinner, say this place and stopped in. If I didn’t order food it wound have been a five star review as the service at the bar was great. But ordered chicken parm and zucchini sticks to go and when I got to my room I could not have been more disappointed. I ordered penne and got spaghetti, the chicken was aweful, and the zucchini sticks were all breading. When I saw an Italian name in Syracuse NY I thought no risk but it wasn’t worth the paper the check came on. Go somewhere else.

3 people for dinner . We ordered 2 beers and 1 vodka cocktails . 2 steak dinners and 1 fish fry . And a large anti pasta salad to split with the 3 of us . Two pieces of bread for 3 people came when we asked for more bread two small slices of bread came we later saw on Our CHECK a charge of 1.00 for bread .. the antipasto bowl for a large was 3/4 full and we asked if it was the small because we ordered the large... the owner said it’s the large for one person not 3 people so the large and paid for large The waitress was wonder.. the owner was not pleasant

The Garden Salad was Awesome... Nice Size for the price. The Buffalo Wings were basically just hard fried wings, No Buffalo and the Chili "Soup" which I ordered based on Reviews made me Question So Many Things!! I have to Believe that the people who gave it such rave reviews have never experienced Real homemade Chili. It tasted like the hot dog chili in a can. I Actually Believe that's what it was. It had No Tomatoes, No Peppers, No Onions.... just some meat and beans drowned in chili paste. Definitely Not Chili "Soup" and Definitely Not Homemade IMO, howevvver, If it Is Indeed Homemade, Shame on The chef. Also, the Portion for the price is Laughable

This might be the first negative Google review I’ve ever left. Our family placed a takeout order via Grubhub. My husband ordered their Barbagallo’s Favorite-two sausages and two meatballs over pasta for $16.75. The photo shows what he received. I’m not sure the amount of pasta would be enough for a kid’s meal. Certainly the size of the sausages and meatballs weren’t worth the money. I messaged them to try to determine if we’d made an error ordering hoping there was a reason for the lack of food. I could see my message was read but no response. Messaged again the next day…no response. I will say our meals arrived quickly and the bread was fresh but sadly this Italian family is one-and-done with Barbagallo’s.

The employees seemed more interested in talking to each other than tending to their customers. When my food finally did arrive, I found a massive piece of wood in the middle of our bread. It was clearly baked into the bread and makes me question either how they make it, or where they get it. After that we didn't eat the rest of the order. We simply paid the bill and went to Burger King instead

My husband and I had dinner here tonight, the waitress was really nice but everything else was horrible. It took 10 minutes to get menus and it took a long time to get our food. Our appetizer came out with our meal and there was a big black hair in my potatoes. I was given new potatoes and we still tipped

I was attending a 3 day retreat . When I arrived on friday morning the parking lot and side walks were no plowed I had to carry my suitcase through 4 inches of snow. when my friend arrived at 11am the side walks were icy and still not shoveled or salted. My friend fell and a ambulance was called because she got injured and broke her glasses when she slipped on the ice. For dinner on saturday the we were given a $25 voucher and our group of 45 was told to arrive as small groups starting at 5 . My group arrived at 5:45 We waited 30 minutes to order drinks and a hour and 20 minutes later we had our order taken. I ordered broiled haddock but was served fried fish. What upset me most was the establishment knew we were going to be there for the 3 days and they made no arrangement for staffing enough for our group size . They only had one waitress, one barmaid and one cook. The staff was trying there best but I feel management allowed this poor service to happen Other guest who were also staying at the hotel were having to wait 11/2 hours to be served dinner

When you finally take pen to paper (or fingers to phone as it were) to write your very first google review, you know you’re inspired. And what can I say, the muse is upon me. My wife sent me a cryptic text today informing me that she’d ordered dinner for me and it’s a surprise! My excitement grew as the grub hub guy dropped our dinner at the door. The big surprise was when my wife opened the to go box to reveal my open faced roast beef sandwich. The gasp and stunned look on her face was puzzling. But as she turned the box to show me my feast, it was clear we had a problem. I gazed upon what looked to be the contents of a tightly wrapped small cellophane portion of sliced week old roast beef. Freshly nuked and quickly dropped on top of a stiff slice of Italian bread. Not an ounce of moisture remained. I attempted to peel the slices apart and place them on some nice fresh bread I had at home but was unable to break the bonds of time that held the beef to its cellophane shape. As a last resort I placed each tightly folded beef roll in line on my potato bread and poured the thimble of gravy over top hoping for the best. My fork created deep red marks on fingers as I desperately tried to rock it back and forth through my jerky-esque sandwich. Alas, I would not not be eating tonight and we have made a vow never to order food here again until after their Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare intervention.
