Opinions de DiBella's Subs East Syracuse
Huge subs! Jam packed with fresh meat and veggies. I favor the mixed italian meat sub. Very clean inside the East Syracuse location. The bread is a good mix of crispy outside and soft bread inside. They have a sub honor club too, to earn a free one! Sign up online on their website and your first sub is free
This newer location in Greater Syracuse is a modern, clean, and well maintained restaurant. The service is always prompt and professional. I've been going to Dibella's Subs for over 20 years and they simply have the best subs in the Northeast, outside of Boston and NYC. A great sub starts with good bread and theirs is excellent. The purist prefers the traditional sesame seed.
One of my absolute favorite sub places! Bread is amazing, veggies are always good and the sub oil puts it over the top. Staff always is quick to move people through the line efficiently and safely during covid.
Took a team, I didn't eat there.
They did an incredible job getting whatever er materials needed for your sandwich after a warm greeting. Then I waited about 10 minutes and my sandwich and soda was already paid, so I grabbed it and went. The sandwich was actually really good, way better than the sandwich I got months ago. I will be back.
Awesome place for sandwiches. Over the years have had many different types of hoagies and they are awesome. Service is always friendly and patient because there are many choices you can make for your sandwich order.
Amazing delicious subs. They have small portions for those of us who can't eat a lot. Fast even when they are very busy.
I love the Dibellas always have since my days of living in Rochester. Lately it seems they have been skimping on the meat. Had a Philly cheesesteak, tasted great but not much steak on it.
The steak and cheese I had on an everything roll was the best of I've had in probably a decade. Staff were also very friendly and you can tell that everyone cares a great deal about the quality of the food and of the service. I have become a regular and might die if I go a week without dibellas!
i ordered a sub online, it was very easy to do. my sub was ready when promised. no wait time . the store was very clean, the staff were friendly and the price was great. my sub was fresh and just as i ordered. it was my first time there ,but will not be my last. great job
Seriously, the best sub I've ever had, and I've traveled across the country trying to eat all the subs. The bread alone is amazing. Staff is a bit pushy but its probably because they get busy and need to serve a lot of people.
I moved to Texas 4 years ago and found that subs are not...good here. It's not that they're bad, they just need a DiBella's down here to compare to. I go an hour out of my way every year when I visit home just to get 2 subs, because 2 is so much better than one. It totally survived the flights back!
What a clean friendly place. Everything was made to order fresh and delicious! The amount of food was right on point for the price! Staff was super friendly!
My sub was awesome. I wish I had taken a picture of it. It was by far the best I have ever had here. Steak with peppers onions and mushrooms and provolone cheese on a all seed roll. They were very quick and extremely friendly.
One of the best places to get a sandwich. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, made to order, and fresh. Will definitely return.
I moved here from Rochester and found out they have one of these stores here. This is our favorite sub shop in Rochester. The rolls are freshly made on site. The toppings are plentiful and fresh. So many choices of meats, cheeses, dressings, and veggies. So happy there is one here.
Always a great place to grab a sandwich made from fresh delicious homemade bread. I highly recommend the cowboy. A 14" can feed two people also. I have been to several locations an never had one complaint.
I’ve been ordering from them for about a month now. My mouth waters when it’s been a minute from ordering. They are not expensive a little higher than other places. However it is worth every absolute penny. You can’t get quality, quantity, taste, presentation freshness all in the same place usually places will have maybe 3 out of all, but not them they have it all on top of being very polite. The steak subs are my favorite and the cold subs are my 2nd and that only bc I’m not a big lunch meat person to begin with. Let me tell u I started liking them a little more after eating from here. I love that I can choose what I want and there are so many options I absolutely love this place please go and try them out.
My husband has always told me about these subs and we finally went and they were delicious. The bread is hardy, and the meats are tasty. I like how you can make the subs any way you want. They are VERY filling though. I got a medium and a small just for myself and I should have got 2 smalls. I highly recommend this place.
MY FAVORITE sub place the philly steak and cheese is AMAZING! Their bread is always nice and fresh, i DO NOT GO TO ANY SUB SHOP except Dibella's.
This is a go-to place for subs for our family. I'm originally from Rochester, NY and had my first sub at DiBellas about twenty years ago while I was in college. The location doesn't seem to matter, they are always fresh and tasty. Bread is delicious, and they're generous with their meats and toppings. Staff is always super-friendly, and even if there is a line they're managed well enough so that your wait time is minimal. The cookies are awesome too!
I stopped in to order a sub on my way back home to Liverpool. It took me a few minutes to order because I had some questions to ask before I placed my order! The young man that was taking the orders was very patient, pleasant and helpful! He did not make me feel rushed and looked me in the eye while speaking. Sometimes that does not happen with younger people! My order was to go and he even walked over and handed me my sub. I was very happy with my visit to DiBella's today! And oh by the way ...my Uncle Louie's sub was awesome...perfectly prepared!!
Very fast and friendly service. Great value and large subs. Awesome attention to detail...they even ask how much ice you'd like in your drink. Totally different experience from Jersey Mike's that I went to the day before and was disappointed with. Five stars DiBella's!
This place is clean, well run and it offers a nice selection of hot and cold subs. The everything sub bread with a selection called “The Godfather” is very tasty. They get you through your lunch order quickly and it’s a pleasant location to eat with plenty of comfortable seating. DiBella's opened sometime last fall at this Bridge St location. Usually I would get my subs at Wegman's and I always thought overall they were good but now I know that DiBella's is that much better. DiBella's is now the only place that my friend and I will go to get our sub fix. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.
Someone once told me this was their favorite restaurant. I thought, a sub place, really? They told me they dreamed about the buffalo chicken sub. I got turkey because they have buy one get one free special, on Uber eats right now. I got one on everything bread, grilled, just the way it comes with the addition of grilled peppers and provolone instead of american. I don't even like onions usually but I thought hey, I'll get it how it comes and see how it really is. Let me tell you, this was the most incredible sandwich I've ever had. I don't know what it was but oh my God. It's 2 a.m. and I'm still thinking about that sandwich. I don't even normally get grilled sandwiches but, wow. I can't wait to see how the cold prepared sub tastes. There's no way it can be just as good, right?
DiBellas makes the best subs. The bread and toppings are always fresh. Their prices are reasonable and they only charge a minimal fee for delivery. Their bread hands down beats all the competition and their meatball sub is one of the best I have ever had.
The Dagwood hits all the notes, get it with the Everything roll and it's perfection 🤌🏻 Spicy CheeseSteak is so good, and the perfect amount of cherry peppers with spicy aioli.
Always impressed by this place. The staff is always super friendly and professional, the environment is always so clean, and of course the subs are perfect every time! Definitely one of my favorite places for lunch. Had to leave a review because every time I order is just such a great experience!
Today was my first day going. And I can't wait to go back. I got a large sub for a very good price and was able to split it with my husband. The toppings are fresh and they make their bread and cookies right there in the store. Was very happy today with my lunch
Killer subs once you figure out what to stack. Give it a.couple of visits
Great subs! I don't live near a DiBella's, but whenever I am close I go with my husband or bring him back a couple if he's not with me. The Pacific NW has nothing that even comes close and the American Italian food of the east coast is something we miss. It's the whole package, from food to ambiance. They've got it dialed in and it shows.
Very good subs. I tried a few of the hot subs they have. The hot subs are ok ,but the cold subs are so much better. Fresh rolls with a nice crust. They give you a ton of meat and whatever toppings you want. The small subs are huge. I don't think I could eat a bigger one. They don't skimp on anything like Subway or Jreck subs does. I would recommend this place over them any day. You can also sign up for their club bread. You get rewards and free items after 8 stamps.
DiBella subs are amazing. The ingredients are always good but their bread can't be beat. This is definitely a must-try for a sandwich craving. I recommend the buffalo chicken sub, but they have a nice selection of cold and hot subs.
I've been going to DiBella's for over 30 years. The quality and consistency has never changed. Absolutely DELICIOUS every time.
People there were so friendly. The subs we got were very very delicious, we're not normally on that side of town but just their bread is worth the trip! Highly recommend!
Day yum! I just had an absolutely 📣EPIC 😮chicken Philly cheese steak with mushroom onion pepper provolone lettuce tomato and banana peppers. The bread was amazing The Taste was great the size of the sandwich was more than generous. I think where these guys pull away from the sandwich pack (are you hearing me Subway?) is when they started to incorporate the grill, which is really what separates The Philadelphia School from the rest of us peasants, as far as being on the Leading Edge of Sandwich art. Once you got the grill it just opens up a world of amazingly delicious possibilities. Please go enjoy a meal at DiBella's, see what I'm talking about!
This is one of the best subs we have had in terms of quality. The best part was Tim and staff and the way they look after their customers. Highly recommend this place
Always consistently good food. Their sub rolls taste freshly made and the buffalo chicken in specific is really good. I also like their friendly customer service. you can ask for whatever you want and they're happy to help you. I do think their food is a bit pricey BUT it's not outlandish and it is still worth the couple extra dollars difference.
best subs around and the manager mike & crew did a great job helping with a mix up with door dash, appreciate you guys!!
I usually get the steak and cheese sandwich and it’s absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and prompt! The cleanliness is maintained well and the only problem is flies
My family's dining experience at DiBella's today was very good. Our food was prepared quickly. It tasted good and was very fresh! We really appreciate the cleanliness of your restaurant.
Tim the GM and his crew are great. DoorDash messed up our order the other night and I got a call from Tim the next day saying he wanted to refund my money. I told him I would honestly rather have the sandwiches. He hand delivered them to my door and made sure I was satisfied with the restaurant and the service they provide. I commend him for going the extra mile. I told him things like this have never happened and they always kill it every time I order. 5 stars for Tim and his crew, awesome, hardworking people.
We ordered Philly cheese steak, mine a mini, my grandson a 14 inch. Both were make the way we asked and both were delish. The seasonings were stop on. So good, glad I only ordered a mini, I would have over eaten.
This place is Super Clean, all of the employees seem like they enjoy the environment. That's 1/2 the battle nowadays. This company is legit
Fabulous place! Delicious, nutritious food at low prices. A clean, neat store. Plenty of seating and free parking. Short wait times. Friendly, hospitable, kind employees. Conveniently located on Bridge Street in East Syracuse. Highly recommended!
The sandwiches are absolutely unreal, impossible to describe! The Philly cheesesteak sub was especially insanely delicious a total flavor bomb with the bread choice, cheese selection, and extra adds. The 14-inch subs are quite enough to satisfy two people. the ingredient quality is phenomenal and the taste is just delicious . Prices are totally reasonable for how filling they are.
I ordered a whole Sicilian cheesesteak sub. It was amazing. The smell of fresh bread cooking mesmerizes the soul. I absolutely recommend DiBella's Subs. The one associate didn't want his picture in the review, but that's ok, everyone has their choice. It didn't affect the quality of his work.
This place has quickly replaced Subway or other sandwich takeout options for me. They have multiple vegetarian options, great bread (the everything is our favorites) and even my partner will switch up his order to try something new every once in a while. The pick-up line is always prompt and ready when I arrive at the store. Even ordering in person is usually pretty prompt. The staff working behind the counter are friendly and helpful.
Really great bread makes these subs truly delicious. I highly recommend going to DiBella's Subs. I had the DiBella's Cheese Steak sub with grilled green peppers, onions and mushrooms. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and served piping hot. I ordered the whole size sub and found it to be a giant of a sub. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The service was excellent. The date of my visit was 9/4/2020. They have order online or phone in your order or just walk in. They also do catering, specialty salads, hot and cold subs, veggie subs, cookies, kids meals and more. You can eat inside or they have tables outside. Also build your own sub option. It's a must visit!!!
Very impressed with the Philly Cheese Steak sub and i highly recommend biting into to one. The whole sub was about 16in long and with a fountain drink small chips and a bottled tea the total was $17.00. Its enough for two people to make a lunch out of, but a little pricey so it will be a once a week stop for me. In my opinion, dropping the price $3-$4 would make it more of a ritualistic lunch heaven. But the Philly gets a 9 on a 1-10 scale.
I tried the app and ordered. The Subs were good (loved the chicken cordon blue sub). The buffalo chicken salad did not have any chicken in it. Disappointed. The manager refunded my order... so we will order again!
If you order something hot, especially something grilled, it's a bit of a wait, but the wait is worth it. (Try the buffalo chicken, ask them to brown the chicken--absolutely delicious!) Their toppings and fixings are diverse, though much of the usual sandwich fare. Their bread is reminiscent of NYC delis; a thin, chewy crust with a soft middle, (try the everything bread-- again, delicious!) That said, $10.25 is a bit high for a sub. Granted, the sub is larger than the competing shop of Jared Fogle fame, and far more delicious. On most days, the wait and price is worth it-- provided you don't come 5 minutes before Noon on a Friday. In that case, bring something to read.
Second visit. Food was great. Girl that made our first sub today wasn't very customer friendly at all. After tossing the buzzer at us she turned to make sub while we still had another sub to order. Another young man came up with a smile and finished our order. Too bad... she really kind of put a damper in our great moods. Will look for someone else to take our order next time.
Food is good and I’ll for sure be back. People taking the orders treat you like you are a repeat customer and expect you to memorize the menu. They stand and stare at you until you list off everything you want on the subs.
Staff went above and beyond to fix a mistake. After ten minutes of not getting our subs, they apologized and remade them and gave us a bunch of free cookies for our wait. Very friendly and the sub bread, while somewhat salty, was a very tasty sandwich.
This is a very good sub place. It's not the "best sub I've ever had" but it's definitely in the top 10. We go here a lot for work lunches and it's generally consistent. I will say do not order a cheesesteak as the "steak" is a frozen puck of mystery meat. I once ordered it and was disappointed and upon my last visit observed the frozen puck being slapped on the grill.
Very noticeably high-quality ingredients and the fresh bread! Very nice dining experience with 60s style music( and these while we were there). The only reason for 4 and not five stars was the counter help did not smile once.
Great place to grab a quick sub. Not a fan of the meatball sub, but everything else I have tried has been great. I only took a star off because the staff is not the friendliest. The person helping me with my order was more worried about making her own sub. Needless to say, she ended up getting it wrong. Nonetheless, I would still go back. MUCH better than Subway type sub shops. Btw, their bread is some of the best.
Probably the best sub roll I've ever eaten. Fast service. Medium sub is pretty big to be honest. My BLT was great. Service was fast and friendly even during the lunch rush. I would come back.
The Buffalo chicken salad I ordered was very tasty and fresh. The chicken usually comes cold, so I had to request to have it warmed up, thanks to the lady taking orders who offered because otherwise I wouldn’t have known. The store seemed clean and well kept. The only down fall was that the wait for placing the order, paying and receiving the food was longer than you’d expect at a location like this with so many employees working. Needs a bit more organization.
In the hot summer months, who feels like cooking? We find cold sandwiches especially appealing at this time. Dibellas has really tasty subs, maybe the best in town. Way better than Jersey Mike's! Generally, our choice is one of the Italian mixes or the Dagwood. Their downside is frequent poor service, or maybe more accurately, lack of employees to make sandwiches. Several times after placing orders online for pickup or curbside delivery the order wasnt done and we still had to wait as if we did a counter walk up.
First started going to DiBellas in Buffalo. So I was excited to have one here. The subs are not up to par at all, (bland) usually I get the steak sub, it was totally not good. The second and last time I ordered the Roast beef w/ corned beef sub it was a disappointment. Only thing delish is the bread "Everything" roll. So I'll be getting my Sub from Buffalo when I go. They do it right.
While I always have had very good subs the service leaves much to be desired. I always get lemons with my iced tea today o am told that they don't have lemons. Several people told me they haven't had lemons since covid. I had to correct them that I the past 3 weeks I was given lemons on request which I have gotten. When I said I got lemons last week even the manager said they never had lemons. Can't stand the inconsistency and arrogant attitude from their staff.
Bread was still great however was sad to not receive the quality service or subs we are used to. Ordered 4 and only one had the correct ingredients and one was not even what I ordered at all. Made it easier to pick a sub shop.
Subs are very hearty. Breads very good. They give you a very good portion of meat. I had The Godfather which is the Italian sub. That was very good. Next I ordered the Buffalo chicken and honestly subway does a better Buffalo chicken sub. It was not good and that was their "featured" sub. Overall I'll go back but I'll stick to a basic sub and not a specialty sub. Prices are a little high but in my opinion their meat is caked on compared to wegmanns. About $15 for a full sub meal deal. If you eat it all you will be overstuffed and I can eat with the best.
Big place on the inside. It was clean. The bread was good....the fillings for the sub was light...didn't leave a mess on the paper....you could eat on of these subs and drive at the same time. I thought it was a bit expensive $22 for two 7 inch subs and a 20 oz bottle of Pepsi.
Really long wait for our subs (30 minutes). Someone behind us even got theirs first and neither of ours were baked. Once we received our order, one of them was not even the correct sub. The workers were kind and quickly fixed their error. The bread was not typical DiBella's quality either.
I just ordered their veggie sub, it’s inedible bc of how much they drenched it in oil ..bread soggy and the flavor is off bc of the bland oil 😕 after reading previous comments apparently screwing up peoples subs w oil is a known thing here, wish I read these before ordering money and food down the drain the pickles come in a sealed bag not cut and the Mac salad isn’t homemade
Over priced sandwiches, nothing special. In my opinion you're better off going to Dewitt Wegmans for a better experience.
First time visiting. Restuarant wasn't busy but staff was still rude and didn't want to be bothered. I honestly figured I would be greeted with a "Hi, have you been here before? This is what we have to offer,....etc, etc", considering this restaurant hasn't been open for very long. The prices are high and I think I was over charged. I saw a sign that said they bake their own bread, but when I walked in, there was an unpleasant odd smell. I was expecting the smell of hot, fresh baked bread to hit my face when I walked in but that wasn't the case. My sub was ok, nothing to write home about and my pasta salad had way too much dressing. I won't recommend to others.
They seem so disorganized...today they lost my order and only found it when I asked why my simple meatball sub had taken longer than a grilled sub. Not the first time something like this happened.
The past two times we’ve gone here they’ve messed up our order, which is a shame because the subs are really good. Might just start going to wegmans never had a problem there. Edit: again we decided to give dibellas another chance and again they messed it up it’s starting to feel like it’s intentional at this point, thankfully we checked our food before we left this time to have it corrected, I guess if your gonna go there check your sandwich at the counter before you leave
First time at DiBella's - Every staff member I encountered was either rude or seemed truly unhappy to be at work. The ingredients seemed very high quality but unfortunately, whoever made the sandwich missed 3+ toppings we had ordered; lettuce, onions, mayo, AND they only put one slice of tomato on a FULL size sub. Did not want to complain after the employees already made us feel like an inconvenience. I am not sure if this is a one off situation as we did show up right when they opened - but I will not be going back anytime soon!
Restaurant was clean. Staff began as nice, respectful. Took my order, (3 subs, 1 cold, 2 hot) cashed me out quickly. I was excited to try a sub. So, a few minutes later, a staff came and plopped TWO subs after calling my number AnD began walking away. .... I had to call them back and ask where MY sub was?? The person looked super confused. I told them I ordered 3, a godfather, a meatball and a chicken Philly, all medium. They had to review my receipt because they didn't believe me. So, now, I had to wait, 18 minutes, for MY sub. Seriously,?! Won't be back, ever. Overall, the subs themselves, were, "meh" The bread was good, but everything else, 'nothing to write home about'. When they have me the third sub...no apologies, not a word. Actually, they placed it on the counter several feet away and I had to walk over and ask if it was mine. Very disappointed.
A great big meh! Save your money. Mushrooms for the Philly Steak sandwich were barely warm and came out of a can. The bacon for the BLT was cold. Only half of the BLT sub had any mayo. The tomato was thin and only two slices. The plain bread had no flavor and compressed down into a blob of dough. The staff was nice and friendly. But truly, the local grocery store in the area has a much bigger and better sub sandwich. The area has better choices for eating. If the owners are reading this, come on and do much better.
Love the food but really disappointed with how long it took to get my order. I placed an online order, and based on the time, it was over 30 minutes late! I had to stand around while I waited to pick it up. I would have been better off just going in an ordering the food and having them make it right there, as many people went in and out with food while I waited.
My boyfriend and I stopped in today 7/24 later in the evening. We never had Debellas before, but I was wanting a sub. It’s so true that the staff a business has can ruin an experience. It seemed like our orders were an inconvenience. No one was friendly or helpful, and the staff were extremely unprofessional. All the tables were dirty and the garbage cans were overflowing and all the staff were standing around. Both orders were wrong, but the bread was good. If the experience was better I might rate Debellas higher based on the actual sub.
I was driving and placed a sub order. I picked it up and drove home with my sub. Normally I love Di Bella's. I don't know if 8 made someone mad by calling in a phone order, but my bread was so stale I had to eat the sub without the bread. I was so disappointed. I could not even bite through the crust of my sub roll. Not sure I will be back any time soon.
Not great. Ordered a customized veggie sub. Pretty sure they just threw everything on, didn’t give me extra cheese (extra $2.50) or anything I really wanted. I’m always disappointed by this place.
Well what a change. First experience was great. This time was very disappointing, cold food was warm and everything was dirty and the bugs were unbearable. I ended up tossing my whole order. Don't want replacement, just want my money back and to forget about this visit.
I have been a big fan of Dibella's sub, but as of lately the quality of service has been going down. I ordered a sub online a few weeks ago and was specific in my order and came back wrong, and then today I called it in and was specific again in placing my order, and of course it came back wrong no dressing just a sliver of mayo bread was hard. My wife goes to pick up the order and was waiting for 5 minutes before even being spoken too. I called and spoke to a Britney and I called with my displeasure of quality of service and how my wife had to wait a period of time before being spoken to mind you only two people were in there at the time her and another person but of course they were to busy doing other things which I get but acknowledge those who are there. I am very disappointed, sub was dry.
Waiting almost 30 minutes to then have to go inside and wait another 20 for my curbside pick up order that should've been ready is insane. Watched two other people do the same.
The steak and cheese had no flavor what could have been 4 meals for me or 1 for my husband and 2 for me ended up being the dog meal. I tried doctoring it up even my husband tried to make it taste better. the bread was good but everything had no taste. The sandwich tasted like wilted lettuce no matter what I did. Food cost to much to waste it on nasty food. I will not be going back. I could have spent the same amount brought everything, gotten a few meals out of it and it would have been better . Not a good first impression. Love the look of the restaurant in east Syracuse. It was a very good looking sandwich with no taste. I ordered the Same sandwich from a different place last week and it was so good. And cheaper. Please do better or change the cook
This was not an online order, I walked in and ordered 3 whole subs, and they messed up one of them. They put banana peppers which I didn't ask for, and forgot the fresh cucumbers that I asked for.
I don't know if this was a whole new staff but it seemed to be chaotic there today. Orders were being made out of order, being all sorts of messed up and taking extremely long. I order 2 kids meals and my 7 inch godfather at 12:28 and it was "finished" at 1:22. Both kids meals had all toppings wrong and my sub was missing a few things. If I didn't go up to the counter I don't think my order would of ever been finished.
Mind blown by our experience tonight. We ordered two large subs. One had barely anything on it for $17 and was all bread (pic), the other was loaded with oil when we didn’t order oil on it. I immediately took them back in and the manager goes “oh, you didn’t order oil” after looking at my receipt, as if I was lying about it. He didn’t offer to remake them so I told them I didn’t want them (nothing had been eaten) and I asked for a refund. He told me that it would be back on my card in 3-5 days. I said thanks but I would like a receipt or something showing that I was refunded. He told me nothing prints when they issue a refund. I told him I live an hour away and am not comfortable leaving there without some kind of proof I’m getting my money back. He then gets angry, grabs my receipt and walks in the back. When he comes out he tells me he’s not giving me a refund and the best he’ll do is a coupon. So not only did he LIE about already issuing the refund, but despite them making the food wrong and me leaving there with no food, he was not going to give me one at all. Also, prior to all of this I had to run out to my car for my phone and when I came back in he had already thrown the subs out. I asked him to see them again because I wanted to get pictures and he took the bag out of the garbage and put it right on the counter where they make the subs. So beyond disgusting and unsanitary. $40 in food + the tip and yet I left without food, without a refund and without a “coupon” because he only took my email and said I would get a coupon within a week. I know it will never happen.
I purchased a 5" turkey sub on a sesame roll. I asked for provolone cheese (which was not on my sub), lettuce which was non existent, tomato, onion (which seemed like they put a half of it on my sub), and one piece of banana pepper. This was a train wreck of sandwich!
Ordered an old fashioned sub. They gave me the tiniest piece of salami on a roll a few shreds of lettuce and mayo. Nothing else. There was no turkey or ham that they advertised as part of the old fashioned sub. In my opinion I paid way too much for almost nothing on my sub. Service was very frantic and rushed almost annoyed they had to take my order. I would stay away from this restaurant.
While writing reviews is not my thing. I just wanted to say I hadn’t been to here since 2018 when I bought a hungry football player to grab food after a game and we couldn’t order due to no bread. My daughter talked me into trying again and again very close to being out of bread we wanted and part of party had to change type because it wasn’t available so I won’t be returning . The staff was pleasant and service was fine. My sandwich choice should have been better on my end but for what I paid for BLT with hardly any bacon wasn’t worth it. 2 strikes and out for me.
Ordered buffalo chicken sub with hot peppers.. Received chicken sub with a smidge of buffalo sauce. Peppers were sweet. When I brought it back, the employee argued with me over remaking it and at first refused. claiming they don't add any buffalo sauce to the chicken only to the bread. Also said hot peppers are just sweet peppers that they add chili powder on. I will not be returning. Food is great, don't get me wrong. But the blatant lies and becoming argumentative when I simply wanted what I ordered and paid for were the last straw. Do better dibellas.
The bread was burnt! All I can taste is burnt bread! I ordered the spicy cheese steak sub, there is no flavor? Where's the aoli sauce? The peppers and onions? My daughter ordered the turkey club and had to replace the burnt bread with sliced bread from home. This is the second time in a row that my order was messed up. It's too bad, it was delicious when they first opened up.
Update Aug 2022: zero out of 5 stars. Ordered the cowboy and requested extra cheese and onion, no sauce no extra cheese no onions in sight. See picture. For $18 I except a decent sub, not the sad excuse that was given to me. It's okay- but honestly I'd rather get a sub from Firehouse Subs or Wegmans before returning. Quality has gone down since I first started going a few years ago.
