Came to try this place for the first time after picking up my car from Mr. Tire. The setup they had in the center looked really cool. As for food, the shrimp dumplings and shumai were actually pretty good, and the Pad Thai was great too, though I may have squeezed a little bit too much lime onto it. Service was good too, with food coming out quick and the staff checking on us at appropriate intervals.
First time being here and it was pretty good service and good food. The food prices vary depending on what you get. My mom and I ordered the pork soup dumplings and Beef scallion pancakes. They were so good! Especially the pancake. Then had the seafood pineapple fried rice and fried sweet and sour pork in scoop. Both were so good! Especially the pork. It was so crunchy! Glad we tried this place.
First time here and I have to say everything was amazing. Service was fast and attentive. It's to go pricing but an elevated dine in experience. My son loved the Bao and lo mein. The drinks were delicious and the crab Rangoon were fantastic
All the food was amazing. And Ken was so sweet! We had Ramen, fried rice and a couple of appetizers, all great.
We’ve been twice. The food is amazing! The first time we had a server that was ok not great. Today we had Ken I think. Totally night and day. He was great and again the food matched.
Super good food. The staff is really attentive and we loved the vibe in there too. Got the fish maw soup, huge portion that was really delicious. Will be back for sure.
I've been to Mr. Noodle and Ms. Dumpling several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious. On this visit, we decided to try their ramen and were not disappointed. If you're looking for good Asian food, you can always bet on Mr. Noodle and Ms. Dumpling fitting the bill.
Awesome food and dumplings. My kids are all of their ramen bowls. We had the scallion pancakes and tried several dumplings. Everything was delicious! We ate too quick to get photos
Closest thing to traditional dim sum I've found so far in CNY and absolutely delicious. The steamed dumplings were sublime, just as I remembered from childhood, particularly the shrimp. The cabbage and glass noodles were phenomenal; super flavorful and cooked to perfection. The typhoon shrimp was outstanding; the menu doesn't give a good description so I'll try. Imagine plump, juicy, panko-coated shrimp cooked to perfection, served with the most delicious savory bits of fried onion, garlic, fermented black soybean, ginger, and spicy red chilies. Warning: If you don't do spicy, skip the red chilies as they bring some serious heat! But if you're brave you won't be disappointed. Everything else we tried was similarly good (the soup dumplings, the fried oysters) and we are already planning a return trip! 2/26 Update: had Valentines lunch here and it was delicious as ever! The seafood and egg tofu pot rocked. The dumplings were sublime. Our server Kiki was super friendly and fast, and not only that but she brought my mom and I beautiful shiny “roses” after lunch. Still highly recommend!!!
We have been here a few times. The food was always good and came out pretty quick. Keep in mind that the servings are quite large and I’m pretty sure are meant to be shared around the table. Just know, for the price you will get plenty of food.
We went for my son's birthday. He loves dumplings in particular. We ordered several types of dumplings including soup dumplings, and then a bean paste dish, a crispy sweet pork dish, and a fried chicken marinated in teriyaki. Everything was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was also beautiful, a great atmosphere. I would say the bathrooms may need a little but of work, but I've seen way worse. The waitress and hostess were both very sweet and good to us. While there my picky daughter said she wanted to have her birthday dinner there too!
This place is just amazing. We were already fans and they went all out for Christmas which was super cute. Seriously everything I had had has been excellent. Favorite is the fried chicken in chili sauce and Dan Dan noodles.
I am not exaggerating when I say we both had the most delicious meal we have had all year when we randomly stopped by for lunch today. My husband ordered a ramen bowl and I ordered coconut shrimp. There are no words. The broccoli was perfect. The dumpling appetizer was incredible. The decor is so pretty. I just had such a nice experience I had to come and share it online. Five hundred stars!
I went to Mr Noodle and Ms Dumpling for lunch on a Saturday. The dining room is quite large so there was no wait. I love the decor! There are cherry blossoms everywhere! The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken with cashews and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly too. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
This is a very cute and comfortable Asian fusion restaurant with Chinese and Japanese food. Obviously close to the university campus, the service is friendly and we loved the decor. The food is a bit of an east west hybrid taste and the atmosphere is charming. Highly recommend.
First time trying this restaurant, and we love it. By it looks, the outside doesn't match the inside, the inside it's really nice. It has some nice colors and a calming atmosphere. The service was great, the servers are really good at explaning the menu items if you are new to the restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings, and they were really good. If you like spicy just like us, ask for the chili oil spicy sauce, it pairs great with the pork dumpling, but the original dumpling sauce they have its really good if you dont liek spicy. Our server was nice on giving us some good recommendations. She recommended the peking duck, and I was surprised by the options she gave us for the duck bones. We could either have the duck bones on a soup or fried, we decided to get the fried bones, and we love it. This is my first time that a chinese restaurant offers me an option about the duck bones, and I love that. I might try the duck bones on soup in the winter. For the second plate, we got Kung Pao chicken with peanuts it was really good flavor wise and spicy, but I gotta say that the peking duck opaque it lol. I'm definitely coming back again and have my family trying their dishes. We will definitely give a try to the other dishes in the future.
Had an excellent lunch at Mr Noodle and Ms Dumpling! The standout for me was the Shanghai dumplings in chili oil - perfect balance of heat, flavor, and texture. Everything else was top-notch, friendly service, and just a really satisfying midday meal. Highly recommend!
This is my second visit, I didn't think lightning could strike twice and all the food we ordered could be outstandingly delicious, but it was. It might have been even more delicious the 2nd time. We ordered pork wontons in a spicy oil, Crab Rangoon's, soup dumplings, green beans, and cabbage with clear noodles. Every one of those dishes was excellent, with the cabbage being the absolute super star. Who would have thought cabbage could have so much flavor. Overall, everything tasted fresh, was appropriately spicy, full of flavor and came out at a reasonable pace. We sat right down as a table of three at 530pm.
This place is a HIDDEN GEM! The staff are super friendly and quite helpful! The food is utterly delicious and fresh and so very good! The atmosphere is relaxing and calming and a great place to gather to eat a delicious and tasty meal alone or with family! The name is just so cute as well!
I had the most magical experience here with my friends! From the calming and beautiful ambience to the efficient and kind staff to the delicious food—all in all a fabulous time! Absolutely recommend as a cute date spot or a little lunch/dinner with friends!
I love the food here. Every time I come here the staff is very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the care they take to making sure that everything is right and tastes great. It’s an added bonus that it’s a super convenient place to grab takeout after work
Loved everything! Soup dumplings, beef scallion pancake, fried chicken in chili oil, and Mongolian beef all delicious and fantastic. Huge portions for the price so great value and our waitress, Helen, was very attentive and took great care of us. Also, barely any wait. Food came out quick, fresh, and hot.
My Aunt, my Uncle, and I were looking for a good place to eat noodles in Syracuse, and this place definitely delivered! The ramen was amazing. The service was quicker than expected. The atmosphere was great, and the decorations made the place come to life. 100℅ coming back! Edit: Came back a couple months later, still just as good!
We were able to get a table immediately on a Friday night. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was served hot and with little wait time. We ordered dumpling, buns, Spicy Miso Ramen, and the Sesame chicken. All were flavorful and well worth the price. The interior was clean and the atmosphere was very nice.
We love to get ramen when we travel and we were so excited to find a place like this right here in Syracuse. The staff was welcoming and we really enjoyed our dinner. We tried the dim-sum as a starter (chicken dumplings, pork buns, & beef scallion pancake), jasmine tea, chicken ramen, and spicy tonkotsu ramen with wood ear mushrooms. Two adults, two teenagers. Very reasonable prices & the portions were great for the price.
The tofu dish I ordered was the best I’ve ever tasted. Ask Jenny, the owner, for the tofu very lightly fried in an egg yolk batter. SO yummy! We ordered both steamed and fried dumplings which were scrumptious. The Sichuan Dry Fried Green Beans were perfectly prepared. The waitresses were all so friendly and attentive- a very pleasant surprise these days. If you’re looking for excellent authentic Chinese food, explore the uncommon items on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.
I ordered General Tso and my wife and daughter ordered the kimchi ramen and chicken ramen. All of them were delicious! The General Tso was better than any place around. Crispy on the outside and not dry inside. The sauce has the perfect amount of heat like General Tso should have. I would recommend this place to anyone!
We enjoyed our homemade soup dumplings. They are beyond delicious. Sweet and sour chicken is not like your ordinary kind. The sauce is already on very crispy chicken and much better flavored. Rice cake noodles are a surprise. Chow fun with pork one of our favorites. Review by our children 9 and 12
Took a chance a week ago and glad we did! Service was fast and friendly. It’s located in the old Storming Crab but decor was nicely refurbished. We tried a few dishes, but the dumplings by far were the best, we’ve had. We wanted to try the shrimp and pork but they were out so we could only try the chicken. Tasted flavorful and homemade. We also ordered the salted chicken, bbq rib and and typhoon shrimp. All excellent! Please give them a try.
My husband and I with our 3 year old son visited for the first time for dinner. The food was divine. We ordered the Shanghai wonton soup, pork soup dumplings, grandmas braised pork and Mongolian beef. Our son devoured everything we put in front of him. The meal was enjoyed by all. We will be putting Mr. Noodle Ms. Dumpling on the top of our list when deciding to eat out.
Delicious, incredibly tasty and authentic Chinese food. Eating some of the dishes took me right back to my mother’s house, and the jellyfish appetizer tasted exactly how I remembered it when I had it in Qingdao, China. Entrees are huge portions meant for sharing family style. Staff are attentive and very nice. I can’t wait to come back and try every single dish!!
Came here after a Trader Joe’s shopping trip. We ordered the vegetable dumplings and pan fried pork dumplings. Both were so good I forgot to take a picture before eating them. We ordered Singapore Mei Fun with chicken and shrimp and Taiwanese spicy beef and noodle soup. The food was very good it had a very mild spice level but had lots of flavor. The portions were very good, we have leftovers to bring home.
5/12/2023 Update: I swung by here again. There was slightly more people than the time of my original review, but the service was significantly better. The food was still delicious. A recommendation I would make is swapping out the curtains on the left hand side windows with something else. We were seated at one of the window booths and ended up being blinded by the sun through the curtains for the majority of our meal since the sun sets on that side of the building. Original Review: This restaurant opened about a week ago according to the waitress. All of the food we ordered was excellent and the staff was very nice. I plan to come back in the future with some additional friends to try out more of their menu, which I am hoping will give them time to iron out the service issues it appeared most of the tables were experiencing. While the attitude of my waitress was great, the service quality/speed was poor at best. I settled on 4 stars because of how much I enjoyed the food, and my belief in their ability to improve. Between not getting things that were ordered (which luckily didn’t appear on the check), trouble balancing the few tables they had (the restaurant was at around 30-40% capacity when I arrived), to general things like not noticing drinks were empty and always needing to be asked for refills, I got the impression it was the first time the two women working the floor were waitresses. As noted the attitude was great and I fully expect them to get better as time goes on and they learn the job more. Some thoughts as a first time customer: - If refills are a potential issue, especially with the small cup size, leaving a pitcher of water on the table could help alleviate needing to constantly be flagged down for refills. - The menu could use some work. The pictures of the food come off like stock images and don’t match what was ordered which leads to some confusion. This is a complaint I read from others who had come to this restaurant before me and aligned with what I saw while there. - Heat the building. Based on how cold it was it didn’t feel like they were running any heat and it was in the 50ish, maybe low 60 degree range. For just sitting it’s fine, but the rice that came with our meal was not brought out at the same time as it was not ready yet. In that 3-5 minute span my food went from hot to slightly warm/room temp by the time I got to pair any of it with the rice. It was all cold shortly after that with me relying on the heat from the bottom of the rice bowl to heat the meat I was eating.
Wow what a beautiful place, and the food was delicious. When you enter this place you are immediately transported into a beautiful cherry blossom wonderland it was so pretty. We got there around 5:30 and were surprised there was no one in there. Why are people sleeping on this place? The food, service, and beautiful atmosphere made for a great night out with two of the kids (16 year old girl, 9 year old boy). I love that this place is more family style dinning, that's how we as a family like to dine, we order a bunch of different dishes and share everything. So that's exactly what we did. We ordered Crab rangoons, chashu buns, pork soup dumplings, Shanghai wontons in chili oil, kimchi ramen, and chicken ramen. The server we had was very patient and understanding with us since it was our first time there it took us a minute to decide. He never made us feel rushed and was available and willing to answer any questions. Everything came out hot and quick and Everything was outstanding! My son who usually doesn't like trying new things tried a taste of everything and thoroughly enjoyed it, We got the chicken ramen mostly for him but he was very happy with everything. The soup dumplings and Shanghai wontons were the favorites for my daughter and I. Between the three of us we ate everything but a small amount of ramen that absolutely went home with us. The menu has a lot of choices so we will be returning many many times to try everything they offer.
No matter when we've enjoyed Mr Noodle and Ms dumpling, it's always VERY clean with an amazing atmosphere! The food is INCREDIBLE and fresh! They can also change the spice to preference and are always happy to answer any questions. We always have a really great experience - definitely try the hot tea with your meal. Very good and relaxing
Visited Saturday for lunch, around 12:30pm. Immediately acknowledged and seated within 2 mins. There were about 5 other parties seated already. Our waitress was kind and knowledgeable. Loved that the menu came with pictures and the options were plenty. Ordered: Crab Rangoon, Chicken and Pork dumplings, Peking Duck and Mongolian Beef. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was delicious, so flavorful and fresh! That they give 2 options of how to utilize the duck carcass (making an extra dish) is awesome, we opted for having soup made, yum! The waitress was attentive but didn’t hover and the manger came around to check that all was well. The food with tax came to $89 and we had plenty left over to bring home. More people started showing up as we ate, could tell it was a popular spot. I’ll definitely be visiting again.
Food was delicious. It was our first time here so we ordered a few dishes to try. Everything we ordered was good and came to our table hot. Portions were big so we ended up with leftovers to take home for another meal. We ordered Kimchi Ramen ($16), Hot and Spicy Beef ($20.99), Stir Fried Eggplant and Green Beans ($15.99), Mongolian Beef ($20.99), Taiwanese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup ($14.99) and 6 Pieces of Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (小龙饱). The Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was a bit oily and so was the Hot and Spicy Beef. If we order those again, we would ask for less oil. Steamed white rice was also included as well which you can ask for more with no extra charge. Service was great! Our server, Sharma, was attentive and very polite. We would definitely come back again. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Syracuse area and in the mood for good authentic Chinese food.
I had a great experience at Mr. Noodle & Ms. Dumpling in Syracuse. The menu is huge and has a nice mix of authentic dishes and familiar favorites. The soup dumplings were the standout—super flavorful and definitely worth ordering. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh.
The food was delicious and the ramen comes in LARGE portions! The service was amazing, clean and aesthetically pleasing space, and great service! I recommend the crab rangoons for appetizers. Tried the soup dumplings as well, they were okay but I wasn’t crazy about those. The ramen was really good though!
Six of us went here for my Daughter's 34th birthday. When you first walk in the atmosphere was top notch, the cherry blossoms did this place right. The waitress sat us down right away, we did make a reservation so they were expecting us. Middle table turn style table was great for sharing dishes. We had four different appetizer all superb. The only entree that wasnt great was the deep fried pork ribs, they were a little tough. The Coconut Shrimp was the best I have ever had. The Ramen soup was a huge delious bowl that disappointed NOONE. You must give this place a try. If I could give it ten stars I would.
The place is terrific!!! Food are fantastic! Spacious, not noisy at all! The service is even better. You get you appetizer and food really fast, don't need to wait that long. We were travelling to Syracuse and would like to try some Asian food. And we ended up to be there 3 times in 2 days!!! Tried lots of dishes. All the food are super good. The best noodles I ever had! Highly recommended!! I just forgot to take some photos of the delicious food. Such a shame.
Amazing food. Very authentic. Incredibly friendly service. My mom and I got the Lazy Hot Pot, which was delicious. It had so many things in it that they couldn't list them all, but everything was incredibly tender, meat as tender as a literal cloud, and the broth itself was heavenly. The garlic eggplant was delicious and unique. This place rivals the food in NYC Chinatown and China. So worth it.
Food is fantastic and good quality, I love the range of dishes they offer. Portion sizes are good for the price, and service is good as well! I had the braised pork and that was fantastic, a range of textures and the flavor was pleasantly sweet and not spicy. I have had their spicy pork intestines in the past and those were AMAZING. Crunchy and chewy and spicy, loved it. The red bean paste buns are flaky and sweet as well.
I’ve been coming back whenever I have the chance to be in Syracuse! When I’m telling you, you have to try their Flounder Fish with Tofu Pudding, it’s a must try. It’s an authentic Chinese dish with actual Sichuan spice/kick. It’s paired with a bowl of rice and let me tell you. I get this dish every single time. Other dishes I have tried was their Cold Noodles with Sesame and Peanut Butter Sauce (Scoop some of the sauce from the Sliced Flounder Tofu Pudding and mix it with the noodles), Sichuan Dry Fried Green Beans, Morning Glory, Fried Chicken, etc.
I think this place is fantastic! I absolutely love their pork soup dumplings! I also got the pork tonkotsu ramen, and my husband had the general tso. We both really loved our meals and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was! The service was great, I think the atmosphere is really cute and vibrant. The waitress was very nice, had great recommendations, and efficient! We enjoyed hot jasmine tea, along with hot sake! It was a fantastic, and cozy meal for a wintery Syracuse day!
We had a great experience at Mr. Noodle & Mrs. Dumpling! The interior is so pretty and inviting with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. We ordered the miso ramen and spicy chicken ramen, and both were delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food!
Lucy was our server and she was great and very friendly and accommodating. Food was so good! We got scallion pancakes, garlic shrimp, orange chicken and eggplant & green beans, espresso martini, and a bottle of Prosecco Filling and had leftovers to take home. 3 of us, split, was $42 each including tip.
My kids absolutely love ramen bowls. Mr noodle and ms dumpling definitely delivered to their liking. The meals and dumplings for appetizers were great. My mother came with us and never had a ramen bowl before, and absolutely loved it. If in the syracuse area and looking for good food definitely check this place out.
We were sat immediately (very large place). The food was amazing, I didn't post any pictures of our soup dimplings because we ate them so quickly. I tried something out of my comfort zone, and my husband went with an old favorite. Both were incredible. The service was ok, not overly attentive, but served its purpose. I did find the 18% service fee a bit strange, there were only 2 of us and we paid cash. The server couldn't explain it, and it was undisclosed in the menu. It wasn't gratuity.
First time eating here was during their soft opening. Because of the soft opening, 3 items I tried to order, we're not available. I just wish wish that they marked in their menu which items wouldn't be available, so I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up 3 times, just to get shot down each time. I guess it just means I'll have to come back to be able to try everything, which I'll happily do! Regardless, the foods I was able to order were delicious! Definitely authentic style Chinese food! My husband did make a comment that it was kind of ironic that the name of the restaurant is called, "Mr. Noodle & Ms. Dumpling," when there weren't many noodle dishes to begin with. Maybe they'll add more Noodle dishes later on, so we'll see. We ordered quite a bit, to get a taste of a little bit of everything. I didnt get to take pics of every single dish, because we ordered so much that I forgot, but my absolute favorites were the Young Chow fried rice, Garlic Bok Choy, Garlic Cucumber, Pork Soup Dumplings, Won Tons in Chili Oil, Honey Walnut Shrimp & the Salt & Pepper Fried Squid. We can't wait to come back & and hopefully, all the items on the menu will be available by then.
Visited Mr Noodle and Miss Dumpling last weekend. Like getting delicious filling meal whether I go for several appetizers (excellent Soup Dumplings, Scallion Pancakes, abundant cup Hot & Sour Soup) OR entree like full plate chicken broccoli stir fry OR varied Ramen Bowls. Nice quantity; reasonable prices; quiet pleasant environment. 4-plus stars!
It was fancy inside decoration. We ate Ramen and Tatsuta-age fries ( Japanese style deep fried chicken) I would recommend to order Tonkotsu Ramen ( pork broth flavor) but wouldn’t recommend order Miso Ramen though. Flavor of Miso was funny to me. My daughter says she want to come back again.
Very good dumplings. Lots of options. Very clean inside. Very nice decor much nicer than the outside would imply. Staff was very quick and courteous. Food was very good and our orders were correct. Food was served steaming hot and the plates were nice and cute. I would recommend anyone to give them a try. It would alsoake a good date restaurant choice.
We stopped in as we have recently moved to the Syracuse area and are sampling the local offerings. Food was okay. Not great. The wontons in chili oil were no where near as spicy as expected. General Tsos tasted like orange sauce with a weird tang. Chicken and garlic sauce was good, but was ordered with fried rice and came with white. The pork dumpings were very good. We might come back for the ambiance. It makes for a nice meal with very few interruptions - there were plenty of staff in the building but they were elusive.
Dumplings had the right amount of filling and the pork was toothsome but not too chewy. I ordered the beef scallion pancakes and the sauce inside was too sweet for me but the pancake texture was crisp and lovely. The man who waited on me didn’t seem to know English well but he was a good server
This was my first visit, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was quiet since I came early for dinner, but I can see it being a vibrant spot for a night out. I tried the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup for the first time. It was an okay dish, but for my taste, it had too many Sichuan peppercorns, which have a numbing effect. Knowing now that I can request the dish without them, I might try it again. Overall, the menu offers a nice selection of Chinese-inspired dishes and other Asian options like ramen, which I'd be interested in trying next time. I generally prefer the flavors of pho or bun bo, but I'd definitely return to this restaurant to try something else.
This was a nice place. The prices were reasonable. It appeared clean. Service was a little cold but professional. Interior was an odd mix of a 1980's Red Lobster meets Japanese Cherry Blossum Festival. Not sure what they were going for, but I wasn't feeling it. The server was professional and checked in on us regularly, but she seemed a little cold and detached if that makes sense. Not bad. Just not inviting or warm. The food was good, and the menu was huge and had some great options. I got the sweet and sour deep-fried pork pedals. They were okay if not a little tough and lacking in flavor. We got the beef and scallion pan cakes as an appetizer. Those were amazing! It's not a bad place. But not awesome, either. Some of the items on the menu looked intriguing, so we might try it again or not.
The inside of this restaurant was very surpsing, and I was caught of guard by how nice it look when I entered. The staff was friendly, and we went during late lunch, so we were seated immediately. They have a large menu, and they have a good lunch special deal. I had the orange chicken, fried rice, and a spring role. I thought it was all fine, no complaints. I did split some pork dumplings with a friend, and those were delicious, especially when I had it with the sauce on the table, so I would recommend that!
Mr Noodle and Ms Dumpling is a fantastic choice for anyone craving delicious, homemade Asian-inspired dishes. This restaurant combines the best of both worlds with its mouthwatering noodle dishes and perfectly crafted dumplings. Whether you're in the mood for a rich broth, stir-fried noodles, or steamed dumplings, the menu offers a variety of options that are sure to satisfy. The cozy and modern interior adds to the overall experience, creating a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere.
Ok so this is my first time coming here the interior of the establishment not gonna lie was very dark inside. I ordered the general tso chicken lunch combo with fried rice and wonton soup, 6 steamed pork dumplings and 2ct veg spring rolls. The chicken was cooked fine, the rice could have used more flavour could have been better in my opinion I found it flat but I re-seasoned it once I got home and tried it. The spring rolls were swimming in oil. I'm on my 2nd paper towel soaking up the oil from them. And the soup tasted fine I personally would have liked more than 2 wonton in my soup. And as for the dumplings they themselves were good but I would have included a dipping sauce with them so again I had to make a sauce for them. Overall it's not the best Chinese food I've had but it's ok. I'd come back for the dumplings again.
Ordered pineapple fried rice.. It came with no pineapple.. When I mentioned it to server they brought me some cold pineapple in a dish on the side.. Food is bland and just not worth it.. My rice was really mushy and starchy with little flavor. Scallion pancakes are greasy and bland. Low mein also lacked with any flavor.
My wife and I visited this restaurant to sample two of their more than 30 $12-lunch specials hoping the food would live up to the review it got in the Syracuse Post Standard. Unfortunately, it didn't. Perhaps that was because we ordered dishes that had chicken as the protein. But first, on the positive side, my wife's spring roll appetizer was crisp and tasty dipped in the accompanying sauce. The white rice was perfectly cooked and went well with a little of the soy sauce provided at the table. I wasn't as lucky with my appetizer, a bowl of hot and sour soup, which was only OK. As for our entrees, the chicken in my wife's Chicken and Broccoli dish looked like it had gone through a hamburger grinder. It had a slimy consistency and a strange taste. She ate the broccoli and left the chicken. My Orange Chicken looked beautiful when delivered. However, the chicken was again a problem. The chicken nuggets were tough and fatty. I left most of it on my plate and ate the white rice. Overall, an unpleasant lunch experience. I had tried to order hot and sour pork, but was told that the amount they had available for the lunch special had run out. Perhaps if that hadn't happened, I might have had a different first impression. The restaurant looks inviting outside and in, and the service was quietly efficient.
We had a reservation for a group of 8, when we arrived the host started seating us at a nice , large clean table. As we were sitting, another person came over ( in charge possibly a manager) waving her hands and put us at a different smaller table in the area that hadn’t been cleaned. So we had to wait for the table to be cleaned, it was smaller so we had little room for the multiple appetizers and dishes we ordered. The place was fairly empty, and no one/ other parties were seated anywhere near us. The whole situation was weird and made us all uncomfortable….and honestly I would have gotten over it if the food was good but it wasn’t. No one in the party was impressed with their food enough to go back
I ordered takeout for the first time with high hopes for these guys. I’d had recent bowls from a competitor at the mall that was OUTSTANDING and fueled my interest. This food was so tasteless, bland, low quality. The chicken was slimy and questionable. There is NO WAY they have 677 reviews that bring them close to a 5 star. NO WAY. The hype on here from the other reviews is very overrated. The broth had literally zero taste for my Miso Ramen. I could have made that myself out of a pack of Ramen noodles. Very, very disappointed. Not one item was good. I spent $70. Which included their dumplings which came with no sauce & tasted like I cooked them from a box. And finally the fried rice which was supposed to have pork had meat I didn’t recognize but was slimy and questionable. I paid an extra $5 for additional “pork” with my miso ramen and received 2 TINY slices. I wish I could leave a -10. Don’t waste your money! I had been warned about this place but didn’t listen. Very low quality food that does not seem healthy or authentic. Will definitely not do takeout nor will I waste my money in the restaurant.
I regret to share that I’ve had the worst Taiwanese beef noodles ever here. There’s a thick layer of chili oil on the top for some reason , and the sliced “beef” which looked pale and tasted like pork . The sad little cabbage leaves that soaked too long in oil and had already turned yellow. The noodles were overcooked , soggy and didnt have any texture to them at all. Taiwanese beef noodles should be umami with a lighter, slightly sweet soup base with chunks of beef. None of this was Taiwanese or beef . Pathetic Food , serving cold food in old oil . I came here with lot of excitement. The server was too very rude . Will never come here . I didnt take pics of the other food . Never thought will end up like this . The pineapple seafood fried rice priced at 16.99 $ had only one shrimp which can be seen and 5-6 peas . I could count it . No taste . Even left the only shrimp as it was not cooked thorougly.
