Super nice bar- it had a very nice rock vibe to it. The servers are fantastic, they recommended me cool drinks and made me feel very welcomed as a tourist. The burgers were super filling and had a great kick of flavour. The atmosphere was rock and roll themed and had a lot of neon signs. Overall this was the best bar we went to in Edinburgh.

I was given a gift voucher as a present & decided to use it for a celebratory lunch. The twister cocktail with an ice lolly on top was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the Cold Town Brew just as much. The burgers we had were amazing. The Mac Buck was beautiful. Rory our server was so friendly and helpful which made such a difference to the whole experience. We would definitely recommend Bucks Bar

During our 5 day stay in Edinburgh we came here twice because we loved the food so much. The burgers were amazing with a very nice selection to choose from. The fries were also really good as well as the cocktails. The servers were really nice and very attentive. There was good music playing and the atmosphere in general was great. Definitely recommend coming here for a very good dinner and some cocktails! :)

Found this place on Google maps whilst looking for somewhere near the castle and popped in at lunchtime. Generous portions, really tasty food at a reasonable price. Really liked our visit here.

Great food, atmosphere and exceptional customer service from Rory. We were allowed to take our dog inside, and our server brought over water and treats for him. Outstanding. Thank you.

Went here on reccomendation of a friend. Very nice eatery, fried chicken and waffles are great, cocktail menu is nice, and there's an ample selection of hot sauce!

My son had waffles mac & cheese & chicken , my other son had the buck all chicken burger & fries as he likes everything plain they both loved it. The portion sizes are huge! I had the hot honey ranch chicken burger & my partner had the hot cock burger they were all delicious 😋. The service was excellent. Staff so friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend this place for burger they were amazing! Massive chicken fillets amazing flavour. Decor lovely & music so good cannot fault this place at all hence the all round 5 stars! My sons also had a milkshake each which they said were brilliant!

Visited this place in Edinburgh. Loved the Nashville loaded fries and Buck Mac burger. Portion size was great. Shout out to Rory for his friendly customer service!

I am normally not the biggest chicken food fan but this was just delicious. Special mention to the chicken wings that were tender and tasty. Portions are big, burger feeds an adult with no issue. Place is very American style. Service was fast and efficient.

Such a quirky little place. The cocktails were so creative and delicious. They were the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. And huge portions. Our server Scott was fabulous nothing was too much trouble. Would love to return next time we are in the area!

We have been at Buck’s Bar this Saturday and got served by fabulous waitress, Sasha. She made sure she suggested best available meals to suit our requirements. Sasha was very friendly and polite. Our order arrived swiftly, was freshly prepared and hot. That evening the bar had live music on so we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back soon.

Amazing find and a replica of Restaurants in Nashvile for Hot Chicken. Great portion size, flavour, ranges of spice and service. Will definitely be back.

10/10 chicken burgers with so many different options to cater for different tastes. We had the salt and chilli burger and the King burger. Portion size is excellent. Service was also great, speedy and overall excellent experience. Would visit again!

First time trying this restaurant after having a brilliant meal in the Glasgow Bucks. Stopped here before the six nations match and fortunately had booked a table as it was absolutely rammed. No surprise how busy it was after trying the food. We were quickly seen to and I ordered the gravy train burger while my girlfriend got the chicken and waffles with a boozy coke float at the side. Both of us agreed our food was absolutely delicious and the portions are massive making it brilliant value for money. Think in the end the bill was less than £50. Will definitely be returning and have my eye on the Nashville hot chicken next time.

Found this place through word of mouth. Surprised I've not been before now. Our second visit and we'll be back. Fantastic chicken wings... Amazing chicken burgers. Great music, friendly service, fabulous atmosphere... If you like neon's, chicken, beer and rock music, you're in the right place. One thing I advise... Book a table in advance..

Rory our server was fully of energy and just so lovely! So much choice to pick from and it definitely sent us into a food coma. Great atmosphere and food was just as tasty as it looked and smelled. First visit and definitely won’t be our last!!!

Cool rock bar vibe with a great atmosphere inside. We arrived without a booking but our greeter went out of the way to get us a table. I ordered the Gravy Train burger for just under £16. It was massive! The fried chicken was both succulent and crispy with nutty hash browns and American cheese. The salt and chilli fries were very moreish with fresh chillies and crunchy spring onions providing a welcome fresh element. My girlfriend had fried chicken which was another mammoth portion we ended up taking home. The staff were really excellent throughout and made the experience memorable. Look forward to our next visit to try the interesting cocktails on offer.

Such a great place! The decoration is really cool, the service is amazing they’re so nice, and the food is delicious. I ordered the mac n cheese chicken waffle and I wish I could have finished all because it tastes great. Thank you!

We went to Bucks Bar for a team lunch during the week. The bar itself is like a 70s rock bar which is very cool with fun lights and signage. We went for the Express Lunch as it was only £12 and was a massive portion. I had the chicken popcorn and twice cooked chips. Really good value for money and the food was very tasty. There was a great range of dips and hot sauces available too. A couple of people upgraded to burgers which are huge!!! Would recommend but note that the portions are huge!

Wow! An amazing hidden gem just off the main road. We had the warmest of welcomes from the amazing team at Bucks and everything was explained to us. Very attentive! The space has loads of photo's of rockstars through the ages and the ambience is fantastic. The food is mostly chicken burgers and chips/fries with a few extra bits such as mac n cheese. I swear this was one of the best burgers i have ever had, it was MASSIVE!! The selection of hot sauces was perfect. I highly recommend this place for eating, socialising and getting 'bucked up'.

Amazing location, perfect place for great food, lovely cocktails & atmosphere. Came here for my partners birthday meal & was not disappointed. Portion sizes are huge! Cocktails were nice, service was great. Something for everyone, even had vegan options (which was not expected in a chicken bar!). Pictures do not do the food justice. So nice we ordered as takeaway the following night!

Great bar, music, staff and food. Milkshakes were unreal but really feeling! Nutella and Baileys recommended!

Have visited the Glasgow restaurant many times so was so happy when Edinburgh opened up as it’s closer for us. Great service and food as always and even allowed to take our new puppy who was made to feel more welcome than us haha. Will definitely be a regular here for sure and Frank too 🐾

Reading the reviews did set the standard quite high and hoped it would live up to what I expected. Blown away to put it lightly, the food was amazing, chicken was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Service was absolutely spot on, cocktails were amazing. Just wish I didn’t live the other end of the country so I could visit more often! 100% will be back when next visiting Edinburgh or even passing close.

Absolutely worth visiting! Chicken burgers to the max, a massive selection of hot sauces, great flavours lovely chips and big cokes! A bit pricey at first glance as all burgers are at 17,5 pounds, but the portion is massive! Good stuff

Went here for my birthday meal last night and I can not rate this enough, the food is beyond delicious, drinks are super tasty and the service is top notch. We had Sasha as our server and she honestly made our night even better such a friendly person who went above and beyond to make our night great. The live music was really good too highly recommend listening to Aaron King he's a brilliant artist. Thanks for a fab night!

Popped in for a few cocktails. 40% off cocktails was on offer and the staff Rory and Leah was very friendly! We are coming back the day after for food and even more drinks! The rock vibe is nostalgic!

A very friendly lady helped us and when she heard we spoke Polish, she started speaking polish too! A very friendly suprise :) she helped us a lot with picking what we wanted to eat! The food was delicious and i would definitly recommend to come to this place!!!

Fabulous place to eat chicken and chips - loads of flavour and type options. Have taken the family here a few times and it’s has always been a hit. Always filling and flavoursome. Great for hungry teenagers. This place and chain stay on my shortlist of places to rake the family for a lunch treat.

The chicken here is seriously good. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked and juicy but still crispy. Service from Rory was awesome. Great playlist as well. Will definitely come back.

Holy heck. What a meal. Absolutely loved it. Waffles and chicken for myself with Mac n cheese for my wife. Wings as well. Large portions and well presented Service was fantastic with a great ambiance. Only regret is we are leaving Edinburgh tomorrow otherwise we would be back in a heartbeat for another meal. We highly recommend.

Bucks bar was great. It definitely lived up to the hype. The only reason I have given it 4 stars (and you will think this is a silly reason) is the portion size. I'm all down for eating a lot of food. But this was crazy. I nearly went into a food coma. I'm not usually bothered about big portions, but it got me thinking about how much food must be wasted every night. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the service was amazing. My recommendation would be to not eat on the day that you end up going.

We came in after a concert at the Usher Hall on the 10th May. The staff approached and took drinks orders. We were given menus and chose our food. The drinks were very good, the food was good too and plentiful, so much so we took a doggy bag home. The night was spoiled though by four drunk office types (ONE IN PARTICULAR). We will need to come back to experience and get the 5 star review treatment.

Superb. Exactly the vibe me and my lady friend were searching the cobbled streets to find. A slice of the U of S of A has attached itself to our hearts. Burger was as large as it was tasteful, the fries were the same. The array of dips astounded me, I'd recommend the cheese pot for sure. Lush...

Booked a booth but was seated at a standard table instead, which was disappointing from the outset seeing as their were booths available for the duration of our visit. I’ve been to other Buck’s Bar locations and enjoyed them, but this visit fell short. The table we were initially seated at was extremely unstable, to the point where we moved ourselves to another table that wasn’t. Service felt rushed throughout. Magners wasn’t available in the fridge, so one was brought from the back and unfortunately wasn’t cold. There’s an impressive wall of spicy sauces, which is usually a highlight, but the first bottle I picked up was empty and the second, while tasty, was out of date. Check-back was very half-hearted, clearly because the server was stretched thin trying to cover too many tables at once. I believe our server was Aaron and I couldn’t fault him personally – he was doing his best in a difficult situation. The issue felt more like poor management and staffing levels rather than individual service, and that’s what really let the experience down.
