Well worth the stop. Bunch of hungry guys got there fill and then some. Real good selections. Seemed to be a local hangout which was a good sign.

The steak was real good and made to order. They even brought it to us when it was done- very nice of them. It wasn't as busy as we have seen in the past. The fried chicken wasn't as good as it was the last time we at another Golden Corral. The chocolate ice cream was out of order. The desserts were good. Same with the baked potato. The meatloaf was wonderful. All and all it was a good meal at a good price!

Update from 7/6/23 to 8/09/25 Everything was fine from senior pricing to the food that was available, Plenty of space to sit. and plenty of food to eat. However the reason they do not get 5 stars. Number one: The bathroom needs improvements. Number two: Make sure when you are done with your food plate KEEP YOUR UTENSILS. if you are planning to go for another round of food or dessert. Otherwise the server will take them and will refuse to bring you a new utensil. (Now time for the good news,) Best time to go for the best price if you are a senior 2 To 4 pm Monday thru Friday. Under 16.99 including beverage. After 4 p.m. it goes up to a whopping 21.99 Plus 3.49 per drink plus tax per senior (OUCH) Also you can sit there for hours and no one will bother you. We sat there for 6 hours and there was no issue, 👍

I love Golden Corral, I really do. But unfortunately, I'm tasked with telling the truth. The corn was mushy and unseasoned. The taco bar was a joke. No salsa, cheese, lettuce, basically all the condiments were non-existent other than the meat. I had to head over to the salad area to fully assemble my tacos. Another thing, the tomatoes being in quarters is completely unnecessary. They need to be more bite-size for salads and tacos. The saving grace, as always, was the amazing steak. No I don't really expect much from an all-you-can-eat buffet, I know corners are cut and you're not really there for a service. But there has to at least be a quality of a good food

It's Golden Corral, nothing special. Lots of food choices. If it's been freshly restocked, it's hot and decent. But some stuff is cold. On my first visit the fried shrimp was overcooked but cold the next time it was warm. Same with the fish and most other items. Timing is everything. Their desert bar was out of most things and the ice cream machine was out of order. My drink was empty for over 10 minutes, so I carried it to the waitress station and asked for a refill. The plates were all wet, but some weren't clean. There was a stack of rejected plates by the clean ones. If you leave hungry, that's on you, there's plenty to eat, especially if you don't mind occasional cold food.

I have been trying to get ahold of someone at this location for over a week. No one ever answers the phone when I've called multiple days in a row. I'm sure you guys were slammed the days before Thanksgiving, and that you did your best. I really would have preferred to not leave a Google review, and would have liked to talk with someone over the phone, but you guys don't answer it. I also live an hour away, and don't want to have to take the time to drive down there just to talk. My family bought a Roast Thanksgiving Dinner for $150 at this location. It was so disappointing. We were really looking forward to this meal and it was just abysmal. We were missing an entire pan of stuffing. We got 2 of everything else (mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole). The majority of the sweet potato casserole was untouched by the family, (it wasn't very appealing and not very flavorful). The roast was the most disappointing of all. I ordered the meal to be served cold-not uncooked. When I picked the roast up, it was still hot, so I couldn't put it away in the fridge immediately. It had to sit out to get to room temp before it went in the fridge over night. The next day, I pulled it out and warmed it in the oven for close to 2 hours. I let it sit to cool down a bit, then when I went to cut into it to serve it, this body of meat was still tough and blood red on the inside. We are well-done meat eaters. It was off-putting cutting into it and thinking it would be cooked on the inside to see that it wasn't. I wasn't expecting to have to fully cook this roast. I had other things that were cooking in the oven when I figured out that this meat was still close to alive. It didn't feel safe to keep heating, cooling, and re-heating this meat. Long story short, we were so over having to deal with this meat, that the whole roast took a dumpster dive. We were out the main protein (which was the bulk of the $150 spent.) The rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pecan pie were good. However, I would appreciate it if a manger took the time to respond to this review, and leave some info on how I can actually speak with you directly. Thank you in advance, Tiffany

This place looked shabby. Dirty walls, dirty carpet. At least 3 items I went for, they did not have. My husband looked for 3 or 4 things they didn't have. Cashier was friendly. No refills, slow clean up. Very disappointed. Won't be returning.

When this establishment first open the line was wrapped around the building. The last two times that I've been here for dinner, within the last 6mos, the food quality has DECLINED GREATLY since opening. If it wasn't for our server Ulda my large size family and I would have asked for a refund and walked quickly out and not looked back. Still not going to be back. HORRIBLY BLAND, COLD, DRIED OUT AND FELT LIKE EATING MILITARY RATIONS.

We came in at the begining of diner service. A large line for little steak strips, the rest of the food was left over lunch food. Let's talk about food. Mashed potato so dry I had to pound it on my plate several times to get it off the spoon. Beans I had to hack at to break the hard crust off the top. The ham that was so dry I chewed for minutes. And I'm sure is why I had mild food poisoning very soon after. The one thing I really wanted was the bread pudding and ice cream. The bread pudding was only crust on the edges left over from lunch, chocolate ice cream broke, floor sticky as hell and no sign saying no chocolate ice cream. The apple pie coldhave been baked an hour mour. The Apple's were hard as a rock. I talked my roommate in to coming here. I've waited several years. But the disappointment is just to much. I'll never go back (dint mention the food poisoning). You pay so much money, 54.00 plus 13.00 tip, to have 5 hour food, no service oh hell

Absolutely the worst buffet we've ever been to and we love buffets! The golden corral in another state was amazing so I was super excited to go get my steak potatoes shrimp and salad, plus all the extras! The steak was so tough I wouldn't let my kids eat it for fear of choking. My husband almost chocked on medium done steak. My son ordered medium rare and STILL could barley chew or cut it. The food sat out for who knows how long. They didnt even have tortillas for their tacos. The syrup for the waffles tasted like water. The hushpuppies were over cooked. The post roast was so dry again I was about to choke. All this and you also have to wait for refills on your drinks you pay separate for. I like to give places a 2nd chance but for a family of 6 its not worth the cost. Sadly EXTREMELY dissapointing

Worst food place in east county bad service not enough waiters high priced for crappy food. Would not recommend coming here. It's pretty bad when the only good thing to eat is the dessert. If there was a choice to put zero stars this would be the place. This place needs to shut down.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to the condition of the restaurant. During my visit, I noticed that the facility was not being maintained to a professional standard. Most of the booths were in poor condition and clearly in need of being reupholstered. Additionally, the floors throughout the dining area were noticeably dirty, which contributed to a very negative overall impression of the establishment. I hope you will take these concerns into consideration and take the necessary steps to improve the cleanliness and seating at this location. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address these maintenance issues.

Worst food I've had in a long time. Place is filthy, smelled like dirty towels used to wipe down surfaces. Holy both seats. Extremely dirty floors. Dried and mushy good. Overall awful. $75 for 3 of us....a complete rip off. Worst place ever. My stomach is nauseous just thinking about it. I tried to like something ...the peanut butter cookies were edible. Slop. Literal slop for 90% of the food. It was not appetizing at all, to charge 25$ for dinner with drink is insane. I could only eat the fried chicken and the corn because everything else was just sitting there for who knows how long. The refill the hot plates with new food and mix the old food with the new one. I hope people arent getting sick from this. The “clean” dishes are kept in a grimey container and the tables, chairs and the overall restaurant looks so dirty and is falling apart. I cannot believe people come here. First and last time visiting Golden Corral. If I could give it a negative star I would. Surprised food and safety hasn’t been called here. The sever lady was the only redeemable thing about this place.

I drove 30 minutes to eat at this buffet and was extremely disappointed. (At 3pm today Jan.05.2026 ) As soon as we walked in, there was a strange smell. The cashier was very nice, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The food was horrible. Most of it looked dry and like it had been sitting out for hours. The buffet area itself was dirty. I couldn’t eat the food at all. I tried a baked potato and it was yellow inside. The taco bar area was dirty, with chips all over the floor, and the nacho cheese looked old and was almost empty. I also saw an employee mix old mac and cheese with a fresh batch, which was very concerning. The restaurant overall was dirty, including the bathroom. I asked to speak to a manager, and the assistant manager came out. She was very kind, apologized, and gave me a refund, which I appreciated. What really bothered me was that as we were leaving, people were still coming in and paying full price while the food and cleanliness were in such poor condition. I had high expectations, especially after driving so far, and this was a huge disappointment. We where charged $18.48 per person there was 3 of us .

Lunch was AWEFUL. I mean the worst. We arrived at noon and everything looked HOURS old. Nothing was labeled and there were a number of items we could not identify. Everything we sampled was COLD and literally disgusting. The benches are all ripped and our shoes stuck to the floor. It was the WORST buffet experience I have ever had in my life. We will never go back. Save your money and your tummy the trauma.

Well since the location asked. 90% of the items weren't labeled. So I had no idea what anything apart from the salad bar, but even then the dressings weren't even labeled. Luckily I know the lumpy white one is Bleu Cheese. The fried chicken tasted like chemicals. The steak was shoe leather ( again, didn't expect much) and you can't get your own water. Look I know what golden corral is, my grandfather and I just came in for dinner after a loss. We weren't expecting much, but we at least expected things to be labeled. The 1 star was for the kind old lady who recommended the brownies because they were good.

The food was absolutely dreadful. It was bland and disgusting just like the chefs lost they're passion for serving food. It was my first time there and I definitely will not be returning at all..the seats where torn and table where dirty and the ceilings are diabolical, the only seasoning in my food were from the ceilings. Anybody working there should be ashamed of the crap they are putting out. If you hate your job then quit. Please for the better good of everyone else just don't ever cook food again.. absolutely trash. I wish I would've ld of token more photos of this bland and undercooked garbage.
