Had to wait just a couple of minutes. Had the turkey melt. It was excellent. Set up nicely, with the tomatoes in the middle so the bread never got soggy. Nice slices of turkey. Didn't feel like fries, had potato salad. It was OK. There wasn't room for desert . Will have to pop in sometime for a slice of pie. Waitress and staff are super nice.

Stopped for breakfast during a road trip and really enjoyed the food. Service was great, too. Fluffy cheese omelette and cinnamon roll French toast delicious.

Wow what a great breakfast spot! I didn’t even realize there was another location other than the santee one. Parking is a bit tight but man, worth it. They do have outdoor seating and saw some dogs on the patio. We came Sunday morning for brunch and our group of 4 was seated immediately. Menu is good size and staff were very friendly. They have this big pie display in the front and the slices are hugeeee! Everything is well priced and it was all so delicious. Heaping mound of butter on the pancakes which is perfect and all our plates were cooked perfectly. We also love we have all the condiments on the table already to make it accessible. I can’t wait to bring more people here it may be my next new breakfast spot!!

Met a friend here for breakfast today. I forgot our server’s name but she was so sweet. Food was amazing, probably the best home fries I’ve ever had, the biscuit was huge, and my bacon was cooked perfectly. Just wish the cheese had been added to my eggs while cooking instead of being put on top. My friend loved her crepes. The only slight negative was that we were on the patio and there was a man smoking a cigarette a few tables away from us, and the smoke kept blowing in our direction. They should put up no smoking signs. I will be back though, because of the great food and friendly service.

I came out her for a memorial for one of my Shipmates and it was raining and I just needed to find a friendly place to eat to take my mind off things. I came across this place because I’m staying around the corner with one of my friends. When I got there I was instantly greeted. I was wondering why she didn’t seat me at the counter alone. She sat me next to groups of people and I’m so grateful she did cuz they were sharing stories and I don’t even think they all knew each other but the atmosphere was just what I needed! The food was a lot haha but great tasting especially the cinnamon roll and coffee. The waitress kept checkin on me and it meant more to me when her face lit up when I told her everything tasted amazing! Thank you so much! I took my pancakes to my friend and her and her son loved them! Guess they had never been haha. Kinda hidden gem but I’m so glad I found it

Staff was very attentive. Food was delicious and big portions. I ordered the country style eggs Benedict and my husband had country fried steak. The biscuits were huge!! Cant wait to dive into the chocolate pie we took home.

I don't have any photos to show anyone. If I'm giving a rating, it's because I think it's good so don't ask me for a picture. If I put one on there. Great, if not take my word for it, if I go somewhere and I give it a high rating, it's good. Have a good one.

Janet's is a down to earth cozy restaurant. Super friendly staff. We had breakfast and ordered the Denver omelet & diced ham scramble. Both were very good 👍 however we ordered the pancakes 🥞 and were disappointed 😞 the pancakes were "rubbery", they were a bit tough. I presume it's the batter? Overall the main breakfast was tasty 😋 Coffee ☕️ was good, especially since I don't like strong coffee. We will definitely return and order something different, but no pancakes 😕

I was so surprised to see how packed they were on a Tuesday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Portions were massive and very filling. Each order comes with a large side ( we picked pancakes and hashbrowns). Great experience overall

Neighborhood cafe, can't see it from the street, no frills atmosphere, good service. Had the eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes & coffee breakfast. Eggs were over cooked as was the bacon, pancakes were chewy.

This is the first time I didn't eat my food at a restaurant, especially breakfast! There was ZERO flavor in any of the food. I ordered O'Brian potatoes and the onions and bell beppers were still raw. No joke (see pic). There wasn't any seasoning on the potatoes (I added the salt and pepper - didn't help). The staff was nice enough but I didn't like that the waitress ignored me. It seemed intentional. I handed her my card, but when she returned it, she handed it to my friend instead of me. I won't be coming back.
