Service was friendly, food was delicious, and the portion was good. I would definitely come back again!
Great service! The food was just so good! Definitely recommended!
I love this place it’s good food and also do you have a nice place that plus the food is 100 billion out of 10
Very good food. The people are the best
The chef special paella was really good. Also the copa borracha. The food is fresh so you have to wait a like bit but it is worth it. The place is clean and the people working there are also very friendly and professional. If you like Peruvian food you must try this place.
The food was great, particularly the Ceviche. Given how excellent the food was I thought the price was reasonable and the waiter attentive.
We had an incredible dinner at Emelina’s. Every dish was delicious and the service was super quick. Would definitely recommend this spot for a dinner with a larger group as well!
Very friendly staff. Food was very delicious. Got the lamb and duck. Wasnt really a fan of the ceviche, but it went well with the rice. I feel like they will become very popular in the coming months. They just opened 3 months ago.
We got the Chaufa de Pollo and Tacu Tacu con Bisteck, and they were delicious! Service was a bit slow though since we came with the Saturday lunch crowd. The kitchen was definitely working hard and keeping up but the single waiter seemed like he could have used some help. Waiter was very nice and friendly though. Can really tell that they were trying.
We were hungry for some anticuchos and Emelina’s really delivered. We also tried house special ceviche and the arroz chaufa. Everything was delicious! Not only that, the waitress was so nice and made us feel right at home. Extra bonus - the place is impeccably clean.
Amazing food, great service. As Peruvians this is my families best spot to hit in town.
Food is fresh and insane. Portions huge, price reasonable.
Best place so far and I love Mexican food.
Had two types of ceviche, fried yucca, and three mains to share; the chicken and pesto, lomo saltado, and arroz con marsicos. All were super yummy! Will definitely come back again!
Tried this restaurant for the first time 6/17/23 ( on Father’s Day) OMG!!! Tried 6 different dishes with our family (7pp) EVERYTHING was delicious, great service, nice atmosphere—- definitely …. Will be back!!!
Authentic Peruvian food and friendly staff! My wife is from Lima and we travel back and fourth frequently, they pass the test. We tried the ceviche and chaufa de pollo with a side of papas fritas. They serve real Peruvian aji made fresh from Peruvian chilies (aji is how you know if a Peruvian place is legit or not). Can’t forget the local Peruvian beers! As a famous Austrian once said, “ill be back”
Amazing taste, they took their time to cook our food but, every minute we waited really worth highly recommended
Excellent food, good servings size for the price. Added this place to our rotation for dinner outings
Some of the best Peruvian I've had in a long time.
Great value and good portion of food! The chef's special seafood paella was very delicious and flavorful, with lot of seafood and only $25. Deep fried fish, calamari, and cassava is the second dish I'd recommend, good portion and the onions were even also seasoned! Seafood soup was pretty good and the soup broth was not too salty. The lamb dish and the beef heart skewers were fine, but might have a bit of strong smell if you are sensitive to that. Ceviche was pretty standard. Overall very good value and nice flavor!
This place has a casual appearance upon entry, but once you get a warm welcome from their staff, the rest of the dining experience will be anything but casual. We (3) tried out their Ceviche (with deep fried seafood on top), Beef heart and Seafood Paella. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Beef hearts were well marinated and cooked to be tender. Paella tasted delicious, but it was different from the traditional Spanish Paella. The Ceviche was definitely the star of the show for us. BTW, we really liked the glass mugs that they used for water.😋
This is the overall most authentic Peruvian food I've had outside of Peru. Simple ambience but the food and service is excellent. Try their Leche de tigre, causa, yuca fritas with huancaina, and even their chicha is delicious. Highly recommended!
Outstanding food and drink. Our server did a great job. You have got to try this place
Best peruvian food ive ever had, I come here at least twice a month for their Pescado a la Chevillana (yellow chili fried white fish) and love it every time. Their lomo saldato and Pescado a la plancha are great and refreshing too, as is their paella
Best Peruvian spot in town. And even if you don’t Peruvian food, you should just go anyway; this place is just delish. Was looking for a place to dine near SCU after a basketball game, and this restaurant came up on the Yelp search. The food is sooooo good and portions ginormous. We definitely overordered but made sure we ingested every bit. When we arrived around 6:30pm, the place was PACKED! They have outdoor seating, but it was a stormy night so everyone was inside. We got the second to last 4-person table and although freezing by the door, it was worth it. The waitresses are fast and efficient, food was really good, and don’t think they serve alcohol (maybe just beer). Parking at the lot is TIGHT but it’s right next to a large residential street; just park on the side and walk in. Will be back again!
We walked in with no expectations and no experience in Peruvian food. We got ceviche and the chefs special and a tamale. We walked out with full tummies and a leftover box that got demolished later that night. The waiter was super kind and patient, our food came out hot fresh and spiced to heaven and back. We tried the cool juice flavors on the menu for fun they were nice. The ceviche is very different and such an experience, def get if you’re open to new experiences. The chef special pictured below was SOOO GOOD. Tasted and felt like a family member made it. Worth the tiny parking lot wait.
Saw this Peruvian restaurant on google maps while craving ceviche. Tried the namesake Ceviche Emilina which comes in no spicy or spicy. I asked for in-between mild spicy. Also got the rice with chicken. Ceviche was excellent, fresh and very flavorful. Definitely recommend. Rice was warm and delicious. Light and seasoned well. Will return for my next ceviche crave.
Lo key and good food. I was a little surprised that the fried yuca was only 5 pieces, but the chef's special seafood paella was so good my guest was eating my dinner.
These guys are from Chiclayo, the North of Peru, and the flavors are spot on! The ceviche was great in flavor, portion size and presentation. So good to have real Peruvian flavors in the Bay Area. Will return :)
Nice to have another Peruvian Restaurant in Santa Clara. I had the Tallarin Saltado with Steak and it was delicious. Will be coming back soon.

Best peruvian food in the south bay, and prices are not high. Como peruano, lo apruebo 100%
Amazing food. Loved the service and the steaks were amazing. Would definitely recommend steak with side of rice and eggs. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The desserts were quite good too. Would definitely try again.
This is a regular on our neighborhood restaurant favorites. The food is really delicious, healthy, and fresh. Fast and friendly service as well! There is not much to speak of in terms of atmosphere, but come for the food!
Get the tallarin verde con bistec. It’s the best dish ever! The chef cooks the meat perfectly and I always crave it :)
Very very good food!Tried the lomo saltado and chicken a la plancha. Both were very good, for me lomo saltado was little more tasty. Regardless the food ia very good. The restaurant is small and not fancy but the food makes it worth coming here! Portions are good size too.
Some of the best variety of food you will find. Peruvian food is delicious!

Food was great! Service ad well. Enjoyed my Lunch and Dessert.👍❤️🌹
My wife and I wanted to try a different cuisine this weekend and we settled for Peruvian based on the good reviews that we found online. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and of course, it was busy. The service was spotty and slow. Overall, they could benefit from one more server or cook during busy times. Our food took just over 45 minutes to get to our table from walk-in to first bite. My wife had a white fish ceviche and when we ordered it they asked us for the level of heat, which we opted for medium. We felt that the medium heat was a too hot, and struggled to finish the plate. The flavor was great, but the heat was distracting. Also, the dish might benefit by having the fish pieces cut into smaller sizes. Our other plate, the Lomo Saltado was served with onions, potatoes and steamed rice. It was delicious.
Ceviche was on point. The musica Latina playlist was throwback. Will be back ☺️.
Food was good, around $25 per dish. But $5 for a can of Inca Cola was a little overpriced.
Tasty and authentic Peruvian food. Here are my thoughts on what we ordered: .Lomo Saltado: Very authentic and delicious. Exactly what I was expecting. All elements were tasty and well seasoned. One of the best I've had here in the Bay. .Tallarín verde con pollo: The chicken itself was very good! Tender, juicy and well seasoned. As for the pasta, it was not bad but I know from personal experience it could be a lot better. Overall it was ok, and portions are very generous. .Yuca frita: The yucas themselves were good. The huancaína sauce was not great, it was good but I would've hoped for a thicker, creamier, richer consistency and flavor. .Lucuma ice cream: So so good! The perfect end to a great and satisfying meal. Delicious Lucuma taste, would definitely recommend. Also, the chicha morada is made fresh and to my surprise it was pretty good 😊
We thought the food at Emelina's was solid but could have been better. The fish ceviche with fried calamari on top was great, but the chef's special paella wasn't our favorite as it was a bit dry and the seafood a bit overcooked.
The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. As a Peruvian, I’ve been looking for good Peruvian food and I found it. The leche de Tigre was great and very spicy per my request. The lomo saltado was good and you can taste the flamed meat. The ambience of the place was great with Peruvian songs playing and there’s ample space to park. Overall I’ll give this place a 4.5 stars. I’ll recommend it to anyone.
Freshly prepared. Ordered the Lomo Saltado. The filet mignon was seasoned and cooked properly e.g. very tender. The potato fries were fresh. Very good!

Terrible service, I called to order, I arrived at the restaurant and the order had not even been passed to the kitchen. The staff is not trained, lack of experience, I would have understood that they would have had customers eating in the restaurant but there were just 2 tables occupied.
