Hidden gem in Santa Clara! This food was very tasty, fully halal menu and came out quickly. You order directly through your phone, but can ask the waitresses any questions or help you might need. We went during lunch and it was packed. Ordered a lamb and beef dish with flat noodles (see photos). Both were delicious, the beef melted in your mouth and lamb was perfectly seasoned. Flat noodles are a must! Note if you order just noodles they will be cold as they are meant to be under all of the meat and broth from other dishes. They even gave us a free meatball dish as they were trying out a new item and wanted feedback, it was yummy! The inside is small so make sure to get there before the rush. Parking is not a problem at all as there is a whole lot for all the business on this strip.
Delicious food and incredibly kind service! They close at 2 PM, and I called at 1:50 PM to order. Even though I arrived after closing, she still prepared my food. It was raining, and she kindly invited us inside to eat and even gave us water. We were very touched and gave her a chocolate to say thank you. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Highly recommend. I will definitely come back!
This is our second time visiting Tarim Garden, it serves authentic Uyghur food with big portion. The food is incredible delicious. I will definitely come back more.
Authentic Xinjiang food with great flavors. The lamb dishes were tender and well-seasoned, and portions were generous. Friendly service and a casual atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
I stopped by Tarim Garden today around lunchtime. Since it’s a Tuesday, the place was pretty quiet, which was actually nice. I ordered the lamb ribs and, man… they HIT. Super tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the onions on top made the flavor even better. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to be this good, but now I’m definitely getting them more often. Then my Beef Lagman came out. It was fire as always fresh noodles, rich broth, solid flavor. The only thing is I wish they added a little more meat. Taste-wise it’s a 10/10, but I’m giving it a 9/10 just because of the portion. I also got the boiled dumplings. I ate them like 15–20 minutes after they came out, so they were already warm instead of hot. I’m sure they’re even better when you eat them right away. Overall, I’d rate my visit a solid 9/10. Food is great, prices make sense, and the vibe is good. Just a heads-up: on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the place gets packed. They don’t have many seats or servers, so you might end up waiting 30–40 minutes for food. That’s really the only downside. Other than that, this spot is legit. I’ll definitely be coming back.
One of the best XinJiang food we've had in the bay area. The lamb skewer is out of this world good!
Generous portions and bold flavors. The beef noodles were especially delicious with rich savory juice that left a lasting impression. The nang was crunchy and paired well with the lamb and cumin. Waiting time is a bit long, it is freshly prepared after all. Worth the wait.
I went to Tarim Garden at a weekday lunch. So the service is not as bad as my friend told me. The spicy fried rice noodles is so authentic (I ask for extra hot). I ordered it online every few weeks, very addicted to the super spicy sauce. The spicy chicken is also beyond my expectations, after finish it, we add one more noodle for the flavor. This restaurant is good for it’s flavor, but receive a lot complaints about the service, the waiting time, and the infra there.
As someone who had never tried Xinjiang food before, I had been recommended by a friend that it was very good. I saw this restaurant advertised as being authentic and I knew I had to give it a try. I ordered the Beef Laghman to go. The food was prepared extremely quickly despite noticing the restaurant was packed when I arrived on a Thursday evening. And the food was phenomenal. The noodles had to be the freshest I had ever had, and the sauce for the beef was delicious. Not too spicy, though I see they have plenty of other spicy dishes if that’s your thing, and an ample portion. Beef was excellent. Suffice to say I’ll be back!
I can’t say enough good things about their food—it’s exactly the same as what I’d get in my hometown, Xinjiang. I ordered the dishes that best represent traditional Xinjiang cuisine.
Tarim Garden impressed me with its delicious, well-seasoned dishes and The fried dumplings were amazing—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. Easily one of the best I've had! excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. It's definitely worth a visit!
tarim garden made me believe in love the laghmann—every variation is good— is so toothsome and dreamy. i have dreamt of returning many times. the cucumber salad too..... somehow very garlicky without leaving my breath stinky and/or smelly. i am always happy when i come here (i am typically a very sad person). the staff are all very sweet—nick and jumana have worked here for as long as i have been coming here—for 1 year now—and i have noticed they are vigilant about serving every customer's needs.
As someone from Xinjiang, the noodles and specialty dishes at this restaurant are absolutely amazing! You can tell the chefs put a lot of effort into authentically recreating Xinjiang cuisine, and our whole family ordered a table full of dishes that were quickly devoured! I've already recommended it to many of my friends because good things are meant to be shared with more friends!

the food was amazing. We ordered big plate chicken, lamb ribs, and stir fry lamb with naan. All 3 were very unique and delicious. The big plate chicken had noodles at the bottom, soaked up all the juice from the chicken, absolute bomb. The ribs were fatty, and juicy. My personal favorite was the stir fry lamb with naan. Lamb was juicy, seasoned with lots of cumin, and the naan was crispy. Service was also good. Highly recommend.
Came during peak hours, so the food took a little longer to come out, but it was worth the wait. The noodles were chewy and had great texture. Nice atmosphere and very polite service. 👍
I met up with a friend at Tarim Garden Xinjiang Cuisine, and the food was absolutely delicious — especially the lamb ribs and the stir-fried noodles. In the middle of our meal, my friend surprised me with a small birthday celebration, and the staff were incredibly warm and helpful, bringing us forks and plates right away. Really appreciate the friendly service and I absolutely love the food here. Highly recommended!
We made a special trip to the restaurant because we Uyghur cuisine and Tarim Garden was well worth the trip. The Cumin lamb was amazing, we recommend the version with a bits of pita. Not many restaurants do it in this manner. The Laghman was delicious and while we didn't try their version of the Big Plate Chicken, the other tables that did enjoy3d theirs.

Had the stir fried noodles with beef. Overall good flavor and beautiful presentation, the noodles were good too. My only issue that it was too oily, and price is a bit steep, hence the 4 stars
The menu is not so rich, but it is enough for choices. My favorite is the fried Nan with mutton, the sac is crispy on the outside, the mutton is tender and fragrant. The noodles are freshly ground and quite chewy. I feel it would be better with a bit spicy for the authentic flavor.

Delicious! The beef laghmian (hand pulled noodle) is great. The noodles have a really wonderful chewy texture and the sauce is well-balanced with its heat, sweetness and acidity. The beef had a jerky-like texture, which might be a bit divisive, but I enjoyed it! Well-seasoned and flavourful. Service was on the slow end though, spent quite a bit of time twiddling my thumbs. The dishes are also more suited towards family-style, so the portions are on the larger end. Definitely bring your family or friends! One nitpick: I wish the noodles were warmer. It must have gone through a cold bath. The contrast in temperature between the hot sauce and lukewarm noodles was a bit unenjoyable Overall, great restaurant, definitely stopping by again if I have the chance!
The food is delicious . We ordered beef noodles, pan fried dumplings, tandoori lamb skewers, lamb pulao and big chicken plate with noodles. So everything was good taste wise except chicken noodles which are average taste wise. But the prices are very high for tge quantity and service.
Too expensive for portions. Not sure if I'd come back. Food was generally quite salty. Although the noodles have good texture/chew, I wish the portions were a little bigger for the $25 price. I guess it's fair when compared to small Italian dishes, but the ambiance also isn't there if the dishes aren't bigger imo. Good spicy oils, nice garlic and onions.
Just okay. Chicken not very juicy, after dip into the chicken soup for about half an hour noodle still have no flavor. Considering the price I don't recommend. Also the restaurant is small and expect waiting since that.

I went there when they grand open, i probably the very first customers and I appreciated the taste, price of the food. Also free add on noodles. Then, i think within a year or so, they increased price like 3 or 4 times like right now it’s 50% more than its original price and no more free add on noodles. I say alright, this is the only Xinjiang restaurant, I will still go there sometimes until they changed chef and it’s soooooo salty and wait time is like 50 mins for noodles after we sit on table. There are so many Chinese restaurants around serve noodles or rice noodles. I don’t think I will try here anymore.
