Opinions de Le Petite Camille El Camino Real
I always love going here!! The service was great!! Our food came fast. It wasn't too busy and the bathrooms were clean!! The bahn xeo is always a top pick for me. Me and my best friend bonded over great Vietnamese food this day. A day I'll always be grateful for bc we haven't had time to really catch up all year. Definitely recommend this eatery!!🫶🥳✨️😋
Our friends took us for lunch to LA Petite Camille and we had a great meal! The Imperial Rolls, the Bo Luc Lac, the Fried Rice and the Camille Special Eggplant were all well- balanced and filled with flavor. The service was friendly and speedy. The atmosphere is that of a successful Vietnamese Restaurant, busy but not crowded or loud. We all enjoyed La Petite Camille and highly recommend it for quality Vietnamese fare.
The food was excellent. Came out so fast! Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked. Chicken was tender, green beans crispy. Bo Luc Lac has a nice flavor and the beef was very tender. Good portion sizes. Welcoming atmosphere and fast service. Will come again.
Excellent service, even better food. Good portions. Can't go wrong with anything stir fried, imperial rolls, or any of their grilled/bbq meats. Can get busy sometimes.
Whenever visiting San Fransisco, i hv always made time to come here. Our family really love all the food. The bbq porkchop, pho, fresh spring rolls, fried rolls... The food portion is large for our SEA stomach so we usually order 1 main and 1 appetiser for 3 persons. This restaurant is located 2-3 mins walk frm Dylan Boutique hotel.
I’ve tried almost all the Vietnamese restaurants available in SF area, this one is definitely the best! I got a thin sliced beef pho, I was totally surprised how tasty is was! The broth is so rich, packed with flavors, you can taste the natural umami and freshness of the ingredients, I loved it so much that for the first time I emptied the whole bowl! I also got a bbq chicken rice plate for take out, the chicken was so so tender and flavorful, so tasty! The vegetables are very fresh! I was amazed! On top of all these, the stuffs are amazing! great service! The vibe there is so homey, and cozy, I was totally amazed! I’m going to visit it as much as I can, and possibly try every dish on the menu haha! Hands down, the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Bay Area!
Stopped in because it was close to Caltrain. Smelled the grilled meat from a block away. The BBQ pork chop was delicious and tender. Came out quickly, served with rice, veggies, and sauce. Generous portion of meat and reasonably priced. Will come back here next time I'm transiting through Millbrae.
They have a very friendly owner, delicious food, and extremely reasonable prices for the area. I really enjoyed the barbecue beef spring rolls. It was a very filling and delicious meal. I will definitely come here again.

👍 delicious food🍲 love the hand sanitizer at the table 👌
Here is where they serve really tasty cuisine. It is affordable. There is space for parking. Recommend.
The food is great and the price is even better. They have friendly staff and their services are very fast! Restaurant is clean and cozy, that’s for sure my new favorite spot now.
By chance we happened to ride our bikes by and decided to stop for lunch. What a great stop. The seafood soup was delicious. The Bun very tasty and even the tea seamed special. Service was courteous and efficient.
The best Vietnamese place in town! We love this restaurant and just keep coming back. The pho, vermicelli noodles, fried rice..anything we’ve ordered has always been incredible. The staff is always smiling and super friendly. Can’t recommend it enough!
Nice food with good price and very honest faculty here! I forgot my wallet in the restaurant and when i came back the next day, they actually kept the wallet in a sealed plastic bag! They double checked my ID to make sure if i am the owner of the wallet and asked me to see if the amount of cash and credit card remain the same in the wallet. Would definitely visit again!
All around good Asian food at fair prices. You have a choice of either good Chinese food or even better Vietnamese. It is a small place & parking is always a challenge. Very popular, but closes rather early. A good place to eat, rather than consume the hotels crappy food.
This is a very popular Vietnamese Restaurant, it is usually crowded. The is a parking space and side street parking, although it is usually full. Restaurant design is plain and simple with street and parking views. The food is very good. Specially the Noodle Soup, and the Imperial Roll appetizer. I like the Beef noodle soup. The Camille’s Barbecue chicken is also good. Perhaps the secret of this restaurant is that the owners are there to help in getting orders, serving food and assisting customers and not to mention cooking or manning the kitchen themselves.
Service was top notch, fast, and the food was great. My wife and I both had seafood and it was scrumptious. Cant wait to come back for noodles- owner operators sat down to family dinner while we were there and it looked amazing.
Came here for the first time and I'm definitely coming back, the broth of my beef noodle soup was so good!
The food is good. The place clean. Prices are very reasonable. Servers are friendly and helpful. This is a five star value. I have been there a dozen times. So I can say that they are pretty darned consistent.
The food is absolutely amazing. The garlic noodles are my all time favorite! All the food I have tried is so delicious. My family and I cant get enough. The service is fast and my food is always the perfect temperature.
Cozy restaurant, very good Vietnamese food. Service is prompt and friendly, on-site parking; great place to grab a bite before or after the airport.
A very cosy and down to earth place that is good value for money. We had five spice chicken, claypot fish, imperial rolls, eggplant and everything was wonderful. True home style cooking. Highly recommended.
La Petite Camille is a casual Vietnamese restaurant just west of the Millbrae BART station, a short drive on the other side of the 101 Freeway from the Burlingame airport hotel where were staying. Our family of 6 thought that this was the best Vietnamese dinner that we've had, including three cities we've visited in Vietnam, as well as our home town of Toronto (which has a sizeable Vietnamese population). We ordered chicken rice paper rolls, pho, bun, pork chop, lemon grass beef, clams and fried noodles. The rice came in a communal bowl for everyone. The dishes were served relatively quickly, and gradually filled up the table. Each course was carefully prepared, and were obviously handmade with care. The waiter was efficient and friendly. We mostly drank water, and our water pitcher was quickly refilled. The prices are moderate (mostly $9-$13), low for the quality we enjoyed. There's a parking lot outside, shared with the Chinese restaurant to the south. I'm remember this restaurant for the next time we're near SFO San Francisco Airport.
Their vietnamese crepe is the best that I've ever had. The waitstaff is friendly and personable to everyone who walks through the door. When my adult children and I get together on my side of town everyone wants to go to La Petite Camille. Laura
The location was great the service was friendly and inviting. It was a pleasure to eat! The Food was served out fast wait time was minimal. Calamari appetizer was delicious pho was just right. The meatballs were huge eventhough they were cut in half I recommed this place 100% Thank you for a great meal!
Crab fried rice could have had more crab, but it was still very tasty, even leftover and reheated the next day. The Thai Iced Tea was over the top delicious with a wonderfully savory vanilla flavor.
One of my fave pho places in the area, have gone so much the owners recognize us. I also like their banh xeo
This place is fantastic and I will definitely be coming back! I needed Pho and only had about 40 minutes to get in and out and man, did they deliver! Even though it was super busy the service was quick, kind and efficient. The food was delicious and one of the employees helped me pour my soup into the to-go cup when she saw me struggling. Couldn’t have asked for a better lunch, thank you!
Absolutely DELICIOUS food. I had the chicken noodle soup and it was so flavorful, peppery, and light. Service was very kind and courteous.
The restaurant had a mom and pop charm to it. It was a little small so the place can easily be crowded when busy, but the service was prompt and courteous. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable for the area.
I have lived nearby for almost two decades but I always forget to try La Petite Camille. My wife and I finally remembered and I am so sorry that we've missed all these years of great food! The food is fresh and well flavored. The staff is very welcoming and nice. We look forward to more great dinners here.
Great place to eat different kind of Vietnamese restaurant. Every food on the menu is awesome. They're version of hot and sour sour is awesome. Even greater if you add both catfish and shrimp. Definitely a must try.
Great pho and vermicelli! Best I've had in while. Location is convenient too if you're on your way to the airport and don't want to chance airport food. Service was super fast so you don't miss your flight.
La Petite Camille has great food at reasonable prices. They are very busy but they always have time to cater to you. We live in Reno, Nevada and my family has made it a tradition to eat there before we leave San Francisco or when we arrive. They remember our family and it is refreshing in a fast paced world to get such good servie. They are fast too we usually get our food in a very reasonable time. If I was to offer a tip, there is more parking in the back if you take Isabel Alley.
I pass by this restaurant everyday. No one can say no when they smell the food from this restaurant. Services are nice. Food are awesome. My recommendation will be the appetizer combination. It is only around $15 and the size like a main dish. Go there with friends.
I've eaten at this restaurant many times for lunch over about the last 5 years. It's always been crowded but you never need to wait too long for a table. Normally starts to free up about 1pm. The lunch special is really great, lot of food, and a good value. They have parking on site but if you come at 12:30 it may be full, but usually there is street parking available just before or after the driveway.
I came here twice with my family (first time we ordered takeout, then came to eat in the restaurant the following day). Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were very generous, the vegetables were fresh, all the meat was cooked perfectly and with lots of flavor, and the bun noodles were the best texture ever! It’s a shame I don’t live in-state, otherwise this place would be a regular for me. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Cali!!
Lovely place! Perfect for a light snack before a late-night flight.

Food was good. Just seemed like regular pho. The tea was nice and hot though. And the jalapeño were too
Parking? Easy. Seated and served right away—zero stress. Ordered the Special Pho and Pho Tai for my husband. Generous portions and a perfectly balanced broth—clean, savory, with a touch of sweetness. Comfort food, done right. You know you’re in the right spot when the Vietnamese community is dining in too. That’s the real stamp of approval. Will definitely be back for another slurp session soon.
I tried their grilled beef and prawns with dry noodles. Great flavors. The veggie roll was just okay. I was hoping there would be something more than just tofu and lettuce. Will probably come back to try their pho. Service was great!
Black Pepper Chicken! They left the skin on when frying the thigh meat!! And no seasoning, they let the black pepper sauce speak for itself! I didn't leave a single grain of rice on that plate!!
The 5 spice chicken, clay pot dishes and pho are always consistent. Meat is tender rich of flavor and full of fragrance. The clay pot just adds to the appeal of really hot vegetables with plenty of taste. The broth of the pho is rich soothing and just what we where craving. I've been going here for the past 15 years and still love it

One of the better pho places in the millbrea area in my opinion. The five spice chicken is also good as well. Parking is a bit tricky with their own parking lot and street parking. Usually pretty busy at lunch and dinner hours.
Good for North Peninsula. A bit expensive for limited options. This restaurant has been around for a long time and the menu is tired compared to Pho restaurants in the south Bay. It's close to SFO so I go there after travel.
I've come to La Petite since 2018 occasionally. It remains a solid option, especially for anyone needing a meal after or before a flight at SFO, which is less than 10 minutes away. The menu is extensive. Today, we ordered the beef pho, shrimp soup, chicken soup, and fresh spring rolls. The order came fast. The dishes were all delicious. The place was very clean. We were out of there in 30 minutes.
Rice plates are pretty good, pretty authentic Vietnamese style. Service is pretty good considering it gets busy fast. The inside seating is snug or a lil tight. They can accommodate large groups, but you need to call ahead. Prices are fair to very good, portions are on point to a lil generous. Parking is limited so try to come early or look for parking on El Camino. Try the 5 spice chicken, pretty darn good.
Great Vietnamese food selection. Pho is the best i have had in the bay area. Feels like home cooked food. Also love the friendly and hands on owners. When full of patrons, which is often on peak hours, can be loud. Place can use some sound proofing definitely. This is a favorite restaurant for big groups and family gatherings. Space between tables can be narrow and tight. Though for a quick lunch or dinner this is the perfect place to go.
Excellent authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Funny be fooled by the simple settings, the food here is wonderful. I highly recommend the Imperial - deep fried rolls with minced pork, carrot, tarot root and onion - wrapped in lettuce and for in fish sauce they will warm the soul. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp are a lighter, yet extremely satisfying alternative. Better yet, get both and double your pleasure.
So far the best Vietnamese food in this area that I have tried. Taste and amount of serving is worth the price I paid for. Servers are efficient and food is served in less than 10 minutes as per my experience. Only challenge in this place is parking since it can be full. This indicates that this place is popular among the locals.
Great service, clean, fast kitchen, WiFi. The Tai salad was underwhelming. We needed a quick place to meet for an airport run, they got us the food quickly and the beef noodle was tasty.
This was a really great meal. They didn’t know a lot about allergens, took my chances and had a great meal, based on some of my best guesses on what could be gluten free.
This is a no fuss authentic Vietnamese joint. The service, swift. Can be just a tad understaffed. My tomato soup base pho with crab and shrimp is flavorsome, but the clear beef broth takes it all. Imperial roll is just so hard to earn a like as they are so common but their version is just sensational. Crisp not oily and not overly salty.
Stopped here for lunch since I was craving soup. I always go for bun no hue (bbh) as it’s one of my favorite things to eat after a night of drinks. It’s a great hangover cure. I started with the imperial egg rolls. I’ll say, these were delicious, huge portion, and very affordable. These were the highlight of the meal. The egg rolls were very crispy and flavorful. As for the bbh, I wasn’t a fan. It wasn’t the traditional version I typically get at other Vietnamese restaurants. It didn’t have the pork feet or pork blood. The broth was good but everything else was meh. I don’t expect too much for service or ambiance at a pho shop. This one however stood out where the service was pretty bad. The workers didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I probably would check out another place if you’re craving Vietnamese food.
Ordered the bo luc lac according to the fact that it normally comes with rice. The rice was not included and the drink was a sprite instead of a coke, and a substitution was not communicated. Food is good but rice is essential in this dish.
#2 The Vietnamese restaurant I used to love the most This restaurant not only had amazing pho but also served other delicious dishes, and their freshly fried egg rolls were exceptional! A few years ago, the owner stopped coming to the restaurant due to health issues, and since then, both the business and the food haven’t been the same as before. It’s truly fascinating—where did all those customers go? #1 My regular Vietnamese restaurant! It may not be trendy, but it's always delicious and satisfying.
Mediocre foods and service. The broth is not rich enough for the beef noodles soup. Deep fried spring roll was pre-made and refried if order.

I stopped by La Petite Camille for lunch today. My overall experience is ok, but I would only give this place a three-star rating. I ordered a Pho, 24C, from the menu. I was surprised to see that the bean sprouts, mint, and lime were totally unfresh, which turned me off. The dripping Vietnamese coffee tastes as it should be. I am visiting SF from Texas and I have been to way better Pho places back home.
The food was just mediocre. Not good not bad. The restaurant was crowded so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I don't like fake mushrooms and my vegetables were missing two of the listed Service was okay but they're impatient. Parking is very good.
Separare fried rice was excellent but the lunch menu with beef over rice was horrible due to the bits and pieces of beef that looks like left over from the side of the grill, some burt....some good.. I actually ordered pork chop over rice and was serve the beef over rice. The establishment worker was attentive when we came in but forgot us after the food was serve. Yes I would come back but not for the beef over rice and next time I will make them repeat my order.
Decent Vietnamese food but seems more like Chinese food than other places. I would stay away from the pho here and enjoy some of the other dishes instead. The staff were friendly and helpful but this won't be my first choice for Vietnamese food.
Decent food. If you need a place to go to after 9:00pm, this is your place. Service is much better since they got rid of a argumentative and condescending server. Parking is still tough due to the fact that people eating next door and else where use their parking lot and they don't enforce "parking reserve for our customer".
First of all the picture that you see with the tables and the inside of the restaurant is not at all accurate. It wasn’t bad inside, but it wasn’t bright and clean the way that that picture represents. I had beef pho, and it was OK. The broth was actually very good, But the portion of Thai basil and sprouts they give you is extremely small. More importantly, there’s no way that that steak was rare within any recent time of being served to me. It wasn’t the best quality of meat either as it was starting to curl up and had some gristle. The service might’ve been the worst part: the host guy was on the phone sitting down when I came in, which is fine, but he almost seemed more annoyed at me being there than pleased. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back.
I’ve been a fan of La Petite Carole for quite some time, and their chicken pho, spring rolls, and Thai iced tea never fail to satisfy my cravings. The flavors are exquisite, and the tea is wonderfully refreshing. However, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. The food was, as always, delicious, but I was taken aback by the unexpectedly high credit card fees. Paying $30 for two orders of spring rolls and a tea seemed disproportionately expensive. While I’ll continue to enjoy their delectable dishes, I hope La Petite Carole addresses the credit card fees issue. It would enhance the overall dining experience and make this spot even more enjoyable for patrons. Overall, love the food, but a bit concerned about pricing transparency. Would also add music to the restraunt
Once I entered the restaurant, I stood by the counter and waited. I met the gaze of at least three workers, who offered no greeting. I met the gaze of another employee who smiled at me. I was pleased that at lest someone there seemed pleasant. I asked her if I should just seat myself. She smiled again, lowered her gaze and softly said “Nooo”. Eventually, a woman appeared behind me and seemed very inconvenienced that I was there. She said gruffly “Where do you want to sit? There or there.” I said, “I’ll sit over there”, a table by the window. She then said, “you want water, tea?” I chose the tea. I walked over, struggled to get the chair pulled out from under the table, where it was perched on the round table base, and I sat down. The woman appeared again, slid a menu onto the wet table in front of me and said, “you know what you want?” I quickly scanned the menu and chose the shrimp spring rolls. I met her gruffness with my own, stating, “That’s all that I know I want so far.” As I sat there, I noticed other customers were warmly greeted as they entered. I clearly did not fit in or meet their description of someone who should also be treated with the same warmth and respect. I decided I would not spend anymore money here, and I would definitely not return. The spring rolls were ok - more mint would have been nice to add some flavor. The sauce was nice and appeared to be homemade. BTW, once I ordered and ate most of the spring rolls, I sat for a time. The owner, perhaps(?), eventually came to ask if I wanted anything else. I said. No, thank you, she threw her hands up and said “ok”??? Was I being confrontational? Um, no. I would have ordered an entire meal, but I felt that uncomfortable. Therefore. I can only comment on the service and atmosphere - Not good!
Decently authentic Vietnamese food. Nothing spectacular but does the basic well. Good for groups. Parking can be tricky with its tiny parking lot. Hard to get in and out of the lot since it opens right up to the busy stretch of El Camino Real.
Very mediocre pho broth Noodles taste like store bought Beef is rough Perilla rolls are good its huge portion Ambience not bad
This is a Chinese ran Vietnamese restaurant so their menu is unlike the usual one you'd see in a Vietnamese place. I was at first at lost and the menu doesn't have any photos. While I was still waiting for other members to join, three staffs were standing in front of my table rushing me to place the order. Once the orders were placed, the food was served within 5 minutes. I wasn't sure if I should be happy or not-- were the food premade already and was just heated up??? The taste was really mediocre and not authentic. Service is definitely below average.

This restaurant has sadly gone downhill. The food is mediocre at best. My chicken pho broth lacked any real flavor, and the chicken was pretty tough. The stir fry vegetables were standard. Meanwhile, prices are above average and definitely more than I would pay for what I'm getting. To top it off, our server was sullen and bordered on rude. The setting is old and dingy. There are plenty of other far better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Go there instead.
No frills. Atmosphere was drab, everything seemed thrown together with no care. The staff were dismissive and rude. The spring roll wraps were loose and practically empty. The bean sprouts, basil and peppers brought were disgustingly wilted. The only redeeming quality was the Pho broth, as it did have a lot of flavor, otherwise this review would have been a 1 star. That being said it had less noodles than I've ever had and 1 wad of meat. Incredibly disappointed. If you are looking at a Vietnam place, go somewhere else.

The taste of food is ok but not impressive. Very dirty plate and I found bugs in the sauce. The owner stands in the parking lot to yell off people who 'took advantage' of his private parking lot and actually goes for the restaurant next door. Well, I think he should be in the kitchen to improve the quality of food and hygiene standard.
I ordered the combination Pho soup, it was good but not great. The atmosphere was drab, the bathroom and floor was gross. I probably won't go back.
The rice is very tasty, and that why they get the 2 stars. The restaurant is extremely overpriced. I ordered imperial rolls during dinner time, and I was charge $9 for six little rolls. I’m very disappointed because I didn’t want to spend $20 + on a meal. I figured it would be worth it because it supposed to be “family style” and I could bring the leftovers home. To my surprise I opened a big box of majority lettuce.
It’s not what it used to be. They do a lot of third party sales. It had been a long time since I ate here and today’s experience … I’ll report that the food quality isn’t great. There are better Vietnamese food in the neighborhood. No photos to share because it’s just not good.

Good food at good price, but watch your belongings in the parking lot. I had my backpack stole from the car, they broke the window of rented car. An other family was stole at the same time. The most bizarre was the owner saying it happens a lot. Be careful.
Been coming here for a while now off and on since it's close by where I work and for the most part I've enjoyed the food specially the Pho the service is what you would expect, but today was a very unpleasant experience for me and I will no longer go back there ever. I ordered my usual Pho and was enjoying it and as I was almost done with the bowl suddenly popped out a little cockroach belly up called the owner and he was very quick at grabbing the bowl from me apologized very quickly and left and told me I don't have to pay for my cockroach pho. Make sure when you visit to check your order thoroughly and good luck.
I came here to pick up a take-out from this restaurant. After I got the food, I walked down one block to take some cash from the Chase ATM, which probably took 10 minutes. When I came back for my car, an old Asian male (probably the owner) started to yell at me that this parking lot is for 'customer only'. Hey, you don't need to so rude. I was your customer 10 minutes ago!
One of the worst dining experiences because of the terrible service and even the mediocre food can't save this place. Going into this place and you are immediately met with unfriendliness. They honestly don't care for your business and act annoyed if you ask a question about the menu. What's the worst part is forgetting what we ordered. We got our food first and the drinks still haven't came. We had to remind them and they made it like it was our fault and we were bothering them. This is a completely unprofessional restaurant. The food is fine, but not worth getting a dirty look.
The customer service is very poor. The old lady with short hair and old skinny guy is so rude. They act like the guest asking for their foods for free. No smile, no greeting. They both have a serious behavior and no talk to the guests. 😆
Food has gone down hill. Bún riêu taste like ketchup soup. Bún lacks flavor but meat amount is decent.
