Lark Creek Grill at SFO airport receives high praise for its fast service, friendly staff (especially Lucy, Tracy, Dean, and Virginia), and surprisingly good food for an airport restaurant. The breakfast sandwich is a standout, and customizations are handled well.

Really good for airport food! (Reasonably priced and tastes as good as outside the airport) plus friendly and fast service. My preferred priority pass place now :)
Lucy is personable, polite and a nice spirit tot be around. Enjoyable experienced and will be back many more times
Burger was awesome. They make their own homemade salad dressing with vinaigrette and champagne. That was excellent. I understand that chef came up with the recipe and it was wonderful. We were waited on by Ms Ling. Just Excellent!!
Quality. That's the word for this place. Great food and service. Today I ordered a burger and asked for it rare, but I came well done. But this is a 5-star review for a reason. Everyone makes mistakes. How you handle them is what makes the difference. The manager saw I was unhappy just by the look on my face, and when I said my burger was overcooked he was more upset than I was. Honestly I would have just finished it and not said anything, but he insisted on replacing it for me. The second one was excellent and perfectly cooked. They go the extra mile. When I fly out of SFO I like to come to the airport early just to post up here for a burger and a cocktail before a flight, and the outstanding customer service as well as delicious food makes Lark Creek Grill an absolute gem of a restaurant, especially for an airport bar & grill.
Amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. What truly made our experience unforgettable was Luci. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional the entire time. She always had a smile on her face and made sure we were taken care of. You can really tell she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her customers. I would 100% come back, especially because of Luci’s outstanding service. Highly recommend this restaurant! Nunca habíamos tenido un servicio así en un aeropuerto. Att. Tus compas 🤣😉
Tracy was our server and she was excellent! She was SO friendly and personable! The music was also excellent! Great 60s, 70s and 80s but mostly 70s soft rock hits. The dining was open in the airport and we really enjoyed it. The cheeseburger was really good too. The extra avocado add-on was so fresh and tasty. The burger is huge and the fries were also really good. They paired well with the BBQ mayo. This is a nice place to eat while you are waiting for your flight. It's pricey, but expected at the airport.
I stopped in during a layover and was blown away by how good this place is for an airport restaurant. The bar has a great whiskey selection — I had a double Maclean 12 on the rocks — and the beef burger with mushrooms was fantastic: juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and efficient too, even with the busy terminal. Easily the best airport meal I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend stopping here if you’ve got time before your flight.
Lark Creek Grill at San Francisco Bruno Airport was a wonderful surprise and easily one of the best dining options I found in any US airport. I ordered the salmon—grilled perfectly—along with chicken breast and swapped the rice for extra vegetables on the side. The salmon blended beautifully with the creamy mushroom white sauce described on their menu, making for a rich yet balanced dish. I paid around $60 including tip, and I left feeling full and very satisfied. Honestly, I don’t understand the low ratings some give it due to price. Compared to other airport food options I’ve had in the US, this is great value for the quality and the experience. Sure, there are cheaper, simpler options, but here you get high-quality ingredients and a proper sit-down setting—not just grab-and-go. My server Tracy added to the experience with her lively, positive, and attentive service. She’s clearly an asset to the restaurant and made my meal even better.
I was absolutely surprised by the quality of the food: I never expect much from airport restaurants, but everything I had was top quality and some of the best food I had in a while. Portions were quite generous, and all the staff were efficient and kind, especially my waitress Virginia. Definitely try the Half Pan Roasted Chicken: crispy, juicy , and amazing flavor. Whoever came up with the recipe is a culinary genius!

Great food, nice staff, clean place. Liked that no waiting. All food tasted fresh, would recommend to dine
It was a long line waiting for weekday lunch. There was a large display to preview the menu. The decorations looked modern. There was a full bar with TVs. Breakfasts were served until 2pm. The smoked salmon came with onions and tomatoes in toasted bagel. The clam chowder had a lot of ingredients and tasted great. The half chicken came with rice and vegetables, and a side salad. The pasta primavera had those vegetables listed.
It was great being able to spend 30 bucks getting a delicious meal of salmon and vegetables in a cream sauce rather than a crappy burger . Their wings were bomb. I found the staff to be attentive and really hard working . They made sure I had enough time to eat and make my flight . You see those free moist towelettes ? Thats classy right there . I know McDonald’s doesn’t give ‘em out . Always be classy .
Ate at the Lark Creek Grill while waiting for our plan. The restaurant is open to the main walkway so you can enjoy your meal but also keep an eye on your gate. The staff here is nice and the food was actually pretty good. Burgers were great and so were the wings. The chowder was ok.. but the fries were very dry. Overall its a good place for a drink and a meal while at SFO.
Good service and pretty good ambiance for an airport. The burger was very good; cooked appropriately to my order. I added bacon and Swiss cheese ($4 each add on) and it was quite tasty Fries were okay at best; not worth finishing The cake was thin on flavor, mostly tasted like Hershey syrup. For airport food it was good; without drinks it cost me $60 after tax and tip (they charge 5% on top of everything for their employees)

we ordered buffalo wings, nachos, and fish tacos. buffalo wings - clearly frozen, offputting taste, not crunchy at all. veggie sides were pathetic: three pieces of celery and a slice of lettuce. at least the chicken arrived piping hot with steam coming off. nachos - we ordered the vegetarian one, without beans. glad they listened to our request. pretty hard to mess up nachos, it tasted decent. fish tacos - not bad, but the only thing i could taste was the guac and cilantro. the fish was mildly seasoned, slightly spicy, but the guac and cilantro were quite overpowering. i recommend adding sour cream to the fish tacos, its more delicious thay way. nobody expects airport food to be good, and its always gonna be overpriced. this restaurant is no exception: it's mid and overpriced. however, the front of house staff are nice and accommodating with requests, and i respect the kitchen staff for working long shifts and cooking food fast. the wait for food after sitting down was not as bad as other airport restaurants ive dined at.
Sad chicken sandwich (breading was like blackened cardboard), sad salad (wilted and worse), mediocre French fries. Great service, French and Phillip were both friendly, courteous, and attentive. Atmosphere, it’s an airport restaurant. You expect overpriced and undergood food at an airport but this place managed to exceed expectations with truly bad food. Breakfast menu may be better?
Wat creek Grill is an excellent restaurant and the airport location is nice but not quite up to the same standards. It is obviously more pricey because they have to pay airport rent, but it is a nice place to hang out if you have a little time to kill. The best thing about it used to be that you could get some of your bill paid if you were a Priority Pass member, but this has changed. If you are a paid Priority Pass member, meaning you pay the several hundred dollars a year to Priority Pass to get your membership, this is still true. But if you get a Priority Pass membership through credit card, then they have removed the option for restaurant dining from these memberships.
First my server was terrific however, I ordered the nachos with the ad on the ground beef. A check menu is very carefully for the ingredients and it did not say there were jalapeños in these nachos. Pico de gallo, however another item listed pico De and had a separate listing for jalapeños. At the end of the day I gave up after about six bites. She did offer to replace it for me, but by that point I wasn’t going to be able to eat anything I asked for a discount and receive 15% so that was a very expensive few bites

Yesterday, before my flight out of San Francisco, I had breakfast at this location and ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and ham — a completely standard meal. Toward the end of the flight, I began experiencing symptoms, and shortly after arriving home I developed a severe foodborne illness: high fever, intense nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The condition was extreme and debilitating. I have traveled extensively and eaten in countless restaurants, including airport locations, and I honestly cannot recall an episode of food poisoning this severe. The timing clearly points to the meal consumed here. What is especially concerning is that the symptoms could have fully escalated mid-flight, creating a serious situation not only for me but potentially for other passengers as well. This raises serious questions about food safety and handling practices at this restaurant. I have attached proof of purchase from my bank records. This level of food safety failure is unacceptable for an airport restaurant.
It was so terrible experience. Some of Servers were so rude. I'm not sure it was racist or not.(we were Asian group) They didn't serve bagic utilities like fork and knife. Because of that, we have to wait a few minutes to eat our dishes. It was so weird and ridiculous. And they also didn't handle our dishes carefully. I remember he was a tall man wearing a mask and he put our dishes like throwing. And while diner, someone hit my chair and he just say "sorry". Only this. And my Coca-Cola was so terrible. It tasted like tap water. How? Overall, it was the worst.
One of the most ridiculous service experiences I’ve ever had. Won’t be back. The host was friendly, but it all went downhill after I sat down. I wanted the half chicken dish, but the side items listed for it on the menu seemed a bit odd. The server (never offered his name, but he was a tall East Asian man in a mask) failed to help me understand the overall set up/flavor profile and even seemed a little annoyed that I asked, so I just asked for the pickled onions to be on the side. Easy fix for everyone. Before I even had a water on the table, this server not only brings a side bowl of onions out — Uh… Okay?? I did not ask for them early, just on the side — but he also set the bowl down on the opposite side of the table from me (see image). I thought maybe it was a fluke, but then he sat the wine I ordered down in the same spot! Later he’d do the same for my water, then a straw, which he flung on that side of the table instead of handing to me. I had nothing in front of me on the table except my phone, and definitely not a force field. At this point it felt legitimately disrespectful in a super passive aggressive way, and if that was his intent I have no clue how we got off on the wrong foot. The vibe was now completely off and I was wishing I had just gone to Burger King up the hall. To boot, that table faces a dirty dish drop area that was piling up in the open instead of being taken to the dish pit, so flies were also dining in with us. In fact, a fly found its way over to those random onions at the other edge of the table. Gross. So I asked the host to move me to the bar side on the opposite end. There were a pair of 2-seater booths open that would’ve been perfect, but the host suggested I sit at a high top counter connected to a wall under the TV. ???? There was no line and the place was maybe 70% full, but for some reason he acted like he couldn’t give me what looked like the best seat in the house for a party of one. Okay fine. At least there were easy reach outlets to charge my phone, no filthy dishes or flies to look at, and no weird server. The countertop is probably fine if every other table is taken but you’re hungry or in a hurry, however, I wanted to actually relax after a busy trip and ahead of a 5 hour red eye. Instead I felt like I was in timeout since all I could see was the wall under the TV. I should’ve asked to move again but I didn’t wanna feel like trouble and overcomplicate what was shaping out to be a high stress experience. While the rest of the crew seemed nice and professional enough, that server gets a 0/10 for me. And we just need the friendly host to make more mindful decisions for guest comfort as far as where to seat people. Food was okay, pretty mid. Needed more seasoning. Plenty better options in SFO.
