Opinions de Ember Korean BBQ Elk Grove
This korean bbq joint has the best value of all of them in the Elk Grove / Sacramento area. The choices for lunch are outstanding. For me, the lunch menu has all the items I like anyway. For $28, it's an awesome meal that will keep you full throughout the whole day. The LA Galbi is usually an item that the other Korean spots serve in the more expensive menu. I recommend getting the half order so you can try a variety of dishes to see what you really like. The thin marinated meats are also good because it absorbs the marinade better and cooks faster. The soups offered provide rich flavor and spices. I definitely recommend them. The corn cheese takes a longer time to cook, but worth the wait if corn and cheese is your thing. The ambiance suited the place very nicely with the modern looking neon lights along with the bar accompanying the nice meal. The smoke extractor lids do a great job not allowing the smoke to get away and bother people. The service is probably the best thing about the place. They present the table of very nicely with nice selection of side dishes. The servers constantly check to see if you need anything. And it seems like the grills get changed every round which makes a big difference to prevent food from being over charred. I have been to other places where the grill is rarely changed and the server consciously ignores you. At Ember, the servers dont do that. Calvin is a server who deserves special recognition because of what he does to ensure that our meal is going well. To sum it up, the value and the selection of food during lunch time makes this place better than any in the area. The service is the cherry on top.
Came for lunch today after a 5k race and everything was scrumptious! My favorite dish was the bulgogi chicken, but everything was amazing, even the small plates they setup before you arrive to your table. Our server was very attentive and kind. Usually Korean BBQ places I go to have poor airflow and can be smoky, but that’s not the case here. Also, the bathroom was so clean! Will definitely be going again!
Ember Korean BBQ is one of the KBBQs close to my home. They have the best dining rooms, which I like. There is more space between tables, so I feel more privacy and less crowded than at the other Korean BBQ restaurants in the area. The food tastes good, and the attentive employees make it a pleasant experience. I know I’ll keep coming to Ember Korean BBQ.
This place has just opened and for a place that is fairly new they have done it all right! Starting at the beginning as I walked into the establishment we were greeted right away with friendly smiles. I was impressed by how nicely clean and wide open the establishment was. As we waited for additional party members show up we made our way over to their large bar and again we were met with friendly greetings. When our party showed up we were taken to our table where again it was nice and clean. The service is where I think this place won me over. There was not one time during our whole time there that I had to wait for service. The food was amazing and the flavors were wonderful! The owner came out and even made recommendations he recommended the rib fingers, by far one of the best tasting cuts I've ever had at a kbbq place! From start to end one of the best dining experiences that I've had in a while! I will for sure be back! 10/10!
Always a bit weary when there’s a new ayce kbbq in town, however this place has exceeded exceptions and may even become a new favorite place to visit for all my kbbq needs. They had a good variety of side dishes to start and the meat selection was pretty good. I like that they had a lettuce option and rice paper. That’s a bonus for me! The place had good ventilation so no need to worry about smelling like kbbq on your way out. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Left a good impression for a soft opening for sure! Definitely a must try if you’re in the sac area, because this place might even become your new favorite as well!
This place is huge with a capacity of 375p. We came here during their soft opening and we had a very good experience. They have a wide variety of food choices. The server(Allan) is very nice and consistent. He knows his job well and he's very polite. I wished they can also offer senior discounts like other restaurants😜that will be a plus. But overall, I like this place, for someone who loves Korean food, this is the place to be.
The food is great, well Duhhh I cooked it ;) I have to say the sauces are mighty tasty. The plate and table set up is nice. The almost unlimited meat variations is great and will keep you guessing how the other items taste. The atmosphere is great considering each burner has a specific smoke evacuation system. That makes it very nice. Then the AYCE makes it a great place to eat and eat plenty.
This place is way better than other korean bbq we have tried. Better meat selections, appetizers, and drinks. Great quality and flavors. We will definitely be coming back. The service was great, fast and frinedly.
👍🏼 The our waiter service is amazing,back-N-fort for another food to orders, price is okay. Foods are delicious. we'll be back again again.

The best AYCE KBBQ I’ve had thus far. Wait staff is awesome(Diana and Kristina) and everyone had a nice pace. I like that the sides are at the table prior to being seated. Tables are spaced out. Well ventilated. I came at the end of lunch and it was not a long wait, I was told 10-15 minutes but it was less than 5 minutes. The food is great! A hefty amount of everything. The side options are better than what I have had at other kbbq locations. Dessert sherbet is also included. Will gladly return.
So glad to have another ayce kbbq spot in the area. Although this is more expensive than the other offerings, I thought that the appetizer selection made it worth the price. The meats were delicious and portioned appropriately. Service was fine. It's still in the soft opening phase so I expect it to get even better.
One of the best kbbq place i go to. Clean place. But what is rare is that their meat just looked good, better than other places. Also they were the fattier cuts, so they were flavorful, and naturally didn't stick. Good portion too. Steaks at kbbq were usually meh, but the steaks at this place were actually very decent. I will definitely come back again
Enjoyed our dinner here. I made a reservation for a Saturday night party of 6. Everyone was attentive and prompt. All the meat items we ordered were great portions and were very good. We really enjoyed our first time here.
Great service and friendly staff. The meat was good quality with a nice selection of both meat and seafood. They also have a good variety of alcoholic drinks — I tried the lemon drop and really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable, and overall it was a fun Korean BBQ experience.
It’s really nice having a Korean BBQ place close by. We stopped in for lunch and had a great time. The food was delicious and satisfying — definitely come hungry, because the portions are generous and everything’s worth trying. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I just wish we could choose our own place to sit — it would’ve made things feel a bit more relaxed. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Korean BBQ meal in the area.
Miranda did such an awesome job cooking our food with excellent customer service. This place is such a nice experience to bring friends and family for special occasions. Highly would recommend coming with a group of people
I always come here for special occasions since it opened and the service and food are always amazing. Prefer this more than any other Korean BBQ place in the 916 area.
I love Korean BBQ but my wife has gone here with her family a few times and this is the first time I've actually tried this place. It's really good. Service is really good. Food quality is good and comes fast. Definitely better than the few other older ones that are out there. This place will set the tone
I didn’t realize how amazing this place was until I tried other Korean BBQ!! They have all of the premium selection of meat without additional charge and they have lots of variety of sides that is delicious! Another thing that I appreciate is the vent that sucks up all of the smoke so you don’t leave smelling like smoke afterwords! Finally, the quality of meat is not comparable to other places! They actually season it so well that it even taste good by itself without the sauce but my absolute favorite part is the sauce and the lettuce wrap! Can’t rave enough about this place that our family goes at least once a month!

We were there during lunch time for all you can eat, but we decided to do dinner menu which has more choices of meats. I love all the side dishes they serve, you can refill the side dishes if you like. The cold noodles and tofu soup are very delicious. They have beef, chicken, pork and seafood. All meats are in good quality. You can do half order if you want to save your stomach to try more varieties. At the end, we got a fruit ice cream bar which is also yummy. Will come back again.

Just your average Korean BBQ spot. The food was good, the servers were all kind and attentive. I liked the Melona cocktails they offered. The aesthetic inside the establishment was interesting. The menu was a bit confusing and for that reason I think we ended up paying a bit more than me and my party anticipated. All in all, it's okay for what it is. Been to better spots, but I will say if you like KBBQ this place is worth a try.

I have NEVER written a review before, but I need to this time. We had a reservation for 10 people at 6:15, and had to wait 15min for our table, which wasn't that bad. However, when we started ordering, the pork was frozen, you could see the flaky ice on the pork. We didn't pay over $40 per person to get frozen pork, at least defrost them. Our waiter was quite friendly, but he forgot our order twice. When he did bring us the bowls of rice, he slid them across the table, and one almost fell off the table. When we asked for extra menus (he only gave us 2 menus for 10 people), he threw them across the table as well. The spicy beef bulgogi was good, though. Beside that, we constantly had to ask for a grill change. Compared to other places, the waiters automatically do that for you. But then, when we asked about desserts, there were 10 people, so we ordered 10 melona bars. The lady came to me and said that they can't do that because I was asking for seconds, but one of the people didn't want it, so I was taking his. She said no. She walked away, told me she was going to check the tab, then never came back. We never got 10 melona bars. Then my friends ordered 2 more melona, of which were both refused, but we agreed to pay $3 for the extra bars. They agreed, they charged us for that, I paid, and they didn't give us the food. Which is disappointing considering the guy who took our order was also the guy who took my payment, who also let us walk out without giving the food. In total, I spent nearly $500 for 10 people; they made the 18% gratuity fee (I expected that, so no surprise); however, they added this before taxing you, so just be aware. They tax you after you give them this gratuity fee, then they also ask for a tip as well. So just keep in mind if you're planning on having 8+ people here. Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the service and the food, especially for this price, considering the fact that the Blue House is more affordable and has better service. I'm never dining here again.
