BEAUTIFUL atmosphere! Super jazzy vibe and friendly staff! Food was great, we had the meatballs for appetizer, and the vodka rigatoni, carne pizza, fettuccine Alfredo for entrees. Gelato for dessert. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend

Finally decided to try Amici, we’ve been eager to since it’s opening. It did not disappoint! We were impressed with the decor and vibe as soon as we walked in. It has an industrial vibe while still feeling warm and inviting. I got the limoncello spritz and my husband got a mojito, both were delicious but the limoncello drink was the best. For appetizers we got the arancini and calamari. The calamari was cooked to perfection! Not too breaded and not rubbery at all. The arancini was also incredible. For dinner I got the Quattro formaggi and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t say that lightly, I’ve tried a ton of pizza in my life and this takes the cake. The dough was amazing! My husband got the shrimp scampi and you can tell the pasta is homemade! It was so, so good. For dessert we got gelato and tiramisu and both were delectable! Our server was very friendly and accommodating. I think her name was Katie? We will absolutely be back!

Atmosphere 5 stars, Service 5 stars (great job, Lily!), and Food 5 stars! We had the Foccacia and Calamari to share (I'm OBSESSED with the batter on the Calamari), Branzino and Shrimp Scampi, Gelato and Tiramisu. Everything was perfect, I highly recommend Amici and we will certainly be back!

Absolutely incredible! Osteria Amici is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants around. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with how beautiful it is inside — warm lighting, gorgeous decor, and that perfect mix of cozy and upscale. The food is unbelievable. The pasta tastes homemade, the sauces are rich and full of flavor, and every dish feels crafted with real care. Paul and his staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy you’re there. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, amazing service, and a stunning atmosphere, Osteria Amici is a must. I can’t recommend it enough! ❤️💚🤍

Picture this. 12 people for a 70th Birthday party at 4:30PM on a Saturday. (August 16) I'm going to be honest, growing up in the area, I really didn't hae high hopes for the Italian restaurant my mom wanted to go to for her birthday. To say I was impressed, would be an understatement. Osteria Amici was amazing in all areas. The moment we pulled up, I was like... OK - this looks nice. Entering the restaurant, I was wowed by the design, but also by the kindness the staff exhibited to our large group. Our server and the helpers were exceptional. The Manager (female) was attentive, friendly and did the cake slicing for us. ALL of the food was excellent. I'm so glad we got to celebrate here - and that the team cared about all of their guests, but made us feel appreciated. I'll certainly be back. Thanks again!

First time in, and definitely won’t be our last. Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Thanks to Kaitlin, our server! Especially recommend the whipped goat cheese, which we smashed before even snapping a picture. Pear and Gorgonzola pizza was awesome.

We had the Polpo alla luciana, Kale Caesar, Shrimp Scampi, and Branzino. EVERYTHING was amazing. Great wine selection and good cocktails! The pizzas look great and will be on the list for next time! Welcome Amici and thanks for a great dinner!

We had a company dinner at Amici and it did not disappoint. The service was immaculate (peep one of our servers in the group photo, and the picture was taken courtesy of the other). The atmosphere was so vibey, it’s cozy and chic. The food was delicious (calamari, chicken parmigiana, and bread) but I’m still dreaming of the affogato 😋

Natalie was awesome, the food never disappoints. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area.

Service and pizza were amazing, we sat bartop so recommended reservations if you prefer otherwise. Intimate, not too loud and fantastic drinks. We will certainly be back!

I never choose Italian as my first choice for a meal, but Osteria Amici might change that. Take note that you NEED a reservation. We were able to be seated on the patio, which was a little warm, but worked out in our favor because it gets VERY loud inside the restaurant (which I don’t love). We were a large party, but they handled it well and the meal was perfectly paced. Highly recommend the calamari - one of the best I’ve ever had. If you choose to have a “shareable” salad as your entree, just order the whole thing for yourself. It’s not really a shareable size as an entree. But wow, the Caesar is GOOD. And our toddler devoured her spaghetti and meatball. Overall, excellent! We will be back. But with a reservation. ;)

Food and service is absolutely incredible. Our server, Alicia, is always absolutely stellar. We also got to meet Paul who was so kind! Will always recommend this place!

We have had dinner here several evenings, and tried a variety of dishes. Everything has been excellent. For me, the octopus appetizer is a must have.

Had an amazing experience, the place was a total vibe. We were immediately greeted in a welcoming way, our server Reece and Jessica were so amazing. The food was some of the best Italian we’ve had and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This spot was a great experience. There were 4 of us so we were able to sample a lot of the food and there wasn't one thing that wasn't absolutely delicious. The service was also on another level. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and eager to make our visit an extraordinary one. Amici is one of the best around. We will be back.

This was my second time dining at Amici. Both times were fantastic! This time, we had the pleasure of Reese serving us. She has a wonderful personality and knew all the answers to our questions. We had an appetizer, pizza & pasta, and dessert as well as some delicious cocktails. Can’t wait to come back again.

I don’t think me and my lady had one bad item, I’ve been on the other end as far as being the COOK. Amici out did me and any establishment I’ve worked for. Complimentary champagne and card from staff, for our anniversary!! The experience they strive to give was given, period. The owner stated he wanted something that gave Chicago, but wasn’t out the way. Again… the experience was given!!! It’s not an understatement but an absolute!

Wonderful surprise discovering Osteria Amici! Passing through Elkhart tonight and did a Google search for a really good pizza. Did not expect to find a gem like this restaurant. Beautiful decor, great ambiance, excellent food and drinks, exceptional service. Our server Lillie was tops and made our experience very special. She was very attentive and conversational yet knew when to give us time to just eat and enjoy. Lobster bisque fantastic. Salad and pizza elevated and first rate. Everything great from the warm greeting when we entered through the good nights and thank yous as we left. An unexpected find in downtown Elkhart. Highly recommend.

This was our 4th trip to Amici. On the first 2 tries, I was less than impressed, mostly due to disappointing menu choices. The food was prepared well, I just didn't like the selection. The pizzas were very chic-chic but not the type of savory and tangy type that I prefer. The 3rd visit was much better, with many menu choices that appealed to my palate. This 4th experience was exceptional. We started with appetizers of meatballs and calamari both of which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. My partner ordered a pesto mortadella pizza and I had shrimp scampi. The owner/chef, Paul Cataldo, is a pizza maker of world reknown - really, not an exaggeration. This pizza was perfection on a platter - the dough, ingredients and finished crust were sooo very good. Our server, Allysia, was knowledgable about the menu and the wine and she paid just the right amount of attention to us. She knew just when to interrupt without becoming annoying. The atmosphere is wonderful. Busy with a limited view of the kitchen and the noise level enabled us to carry on a conversation. The large square bar in the rear of the space is well planned and inviting.

As someone from New York City, I am pleasantly surprised my the intense flavors and amazing service. Chylee V specifically was so patient and gave great advice on the menu. The octopus was as perfectly cooked!

I walked into Amici without a reservation, and they were so welcoming and accommodating from the moment we walked in. My server, Hayley, absolutely made the experience unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend and I had everything we needed. It ended up being one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Highly recommend Amici — and definitely ask for Hayley!

We meet with family for a Sunday night dinner . Our server Natalie was awesome! She made great recommendations and was very friendly . Great food and service !

Although Marc was an excellent manager who showed true interest in conversing with my wife and me during our visit, he could not be outdone by the impeccable service provided by Ikraam, or the deliciousness of our meals. We were greeted oh so kindly by Marc, who identified our reservation through a simple introduction. We were welcomed as first time guests and taken to a relatively secluded high top where we experienced a truly unique dining experience. Ikraam provided guidance through the shareable experience and patiently served us. Our shared Toscana was a well balanced salad to start, along with polpette, which were heart warming meatballs in a robust sauce. Who would have thought that celery root puree, grilled fennel and apple salad would pair with walleye in such a unique way so as to leave the consumer to no longer seek to find the finer things in life, as the feat had already been accomplished? And the pizza? Although more gorgonzola would have been welcomed, the balance of pear, Balsamic fig and other scrumptious toppings and flavors left my wife in a blissful state of mind. Ikraam's continued attention to our needs, as well as Marc's post-meal check-in showed they truly valued us as diners. The cost of the meal was appropriate for the value of the food and experience. We intend to return and would highly recommend a visit for a date night for an unrushed and special experience.

The place was absolutely amazing. My husband and I went here tonight for my birthday and they were so warm and welcoming to us. The food, loved it! Great job chefs, you guys rocked it!! The waitress Allysia was a delight along with all the other servers there that helped. We will definitely be here more often. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration.

My husband and I came here for the first time for our anniversary. We are very glad we did and we had a blast! Gorgeous space, beautiful and delicious food and drinks. We loved the soft ambient lighting. Our server Reese was so so fabulous and made the experience extra special, she did a great job explaining everything and was so friendly and comforting. Our first visit couldn't have gone better! We will definitely be back and would recommend Osteria Amici to anyone!

Had a work event dinner, large party and could not have been more pleased. Food was all on point, the salmon was cooked perfectly. We all enjoyed excellent meals. Chylee was sincerely the best waitress, incredibly attentive and never an empty drink. Great new place for work dinners. Visit if you're in town.

We had dinner here Saturday night. Kylie was our waiter. She knew everything on the menu, made fantastic suggestions and has a dynamic personality. The owner Paul stopped by and chatted with us a couple of times between courses. The food was outstanding and the desserts delicious.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday by making reservations and having dinner here. They gave her a birthday card that the employees signed and with desert my wife ordered gelato and they brought it out with a candle for her to blow out. I didn’t ask for these things but they were an absolute delight. We had amazing meatballs, pizza, and drinks. The service was great as well.

This was my first visit to Amici and it was delicious. The food and atmosphere was amazing! The most amazing of all was our waitress, Natalie! She was attentive and made the whole evening wonderful! The flavor of the food will also bring me back for more! The only disappointment is that I couldn't get my review on here sooner!

Went tonight on Xmas eve for my mom’s birthday and had an incredible meal and even better service. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. Our drinks and food were superb. We had a mix of pizza & pasta that everyone enjoyed. The tiramisu and gelato dessert was delicious. As stated we had incredible service and will be coming back.

Reese was such an amazing server, she was very attentive. Even with a full house of people, Super friendly and helpful. It was our first time, but she did not rush us at all. She let us take all the time we needed to look over the menu. She was so nice and made our night so much more special. Me and my friends even talked about her on the way home because of how welcoming she was with us. We will definitely be back just for her! be sure to ask for her on your next visit, You won’t regret it!

No reservation so we sat at the bar. Bartender was very informative regarding cocktails and wine. The shrimp scampi was suppose to be spicy, ticket placed to not make overly spice unfortunately there was zero spice and extremely oily. No bread! At end of our meal we saw bread being served to others, we asked why we didn't get any especially since we had two pasta dishes...we were told you only get it if you ask???? We'll we didn't know to ask...

Not a good first impression. I was treated pleasantly at the door and given a seat at the bar. I was dining alone so that made the most sense. The bartender asked me about my choice of water right away and gave me a menu. Good start. Then I ordered a beer and waited longer than I should have to get it. And this is where it went all wrong. Soon after getting my beer, I was ready to order but I finished my beer before even being spoken to again. Left cash, plus tax and tip on the bar and walked out without ordering. I was hoping to have their pizza and give a real review but nobody acknowledged I was even there for over 5 minutes after getting my beer. Sorry, around the corner is a place that takes great care of me and has amazing pizza. Amici has a limited pizza menu, which is what I was there to try, and I gotta say…without ever having one, they might be a little bit pricey. I might try to stop by and give them a chance again, but this wasn’t a good start.

Positives were an excellent server, dessert (tarimusa) and good sangria. Entree, lobster spaghetti, was a very small portion and overpriced. Unfortunately, felt everything overpriced for quality and portion sizes. Would not recommend the olives as an appetizer. Not planning to go back unless for just the dessert and sangria.

Ordered two pizzas. 50 dollars for two 8 inch pizzas. They don’t list the size of the pizza for a reason. Half of the pizza is a 2 inch thick crust. Have to stop and get a little Caesars on the way back so It will actually feed people. Waited 15 minutes after the pick up time for the pizzas to be done with only two tables taken in the building (total time an hour for pizzas to be done. Manager seemed he was worried because we weren’t dressed up to ~par~ and have tattoos. Very unwelcoming staff. You’re in Elkhart. I’ll pass from now on.

Heard some amazing things about the place and heard some very disturbing things, so I went to check it out. Atmosphere was nice, but extremely to hot. I don't think they have working air conditioning. Food was great! The problems I had; I was seated by the hostesst and told my server would be there shortly, okay. Server came and took my order with another shadowing, so I thought. After my order was taken, I didn't see my server anymore, it was the one in training that brought my food and ran our drinks. I had to use the lady's room, and on my way I seen the server talking to others and on the phone. I sincerely hope that the one that was in training, doing all the work, got the tip that they deserved.
