Great food and great service! I felt like our waitress genuinely cared about our experience at the restaurant. Plenty of options to choose from without being overloaded. There are also many vegetarian options.

We ate dinner here this evening for the first time. We will definitely be back! Everything was absolutely delicious! After being seated, our wonderful server, Joshua, brought a loaf of warm bread with the house blend of olive oil and spices served over a spoonful of bacon bits, which was fantastic! We started with Papa’s Trio appetizer of calamari, 2 GIGANTIC crab stuffed mushrooms, and 4 pieces of tomato bruschetta. I also ordered a Terimisu martini. Then we each enjoyed a cup of Italian Wedding Soup. If I’d known how good it was, I would have ordered a bowl! For entrees, we each ordered the chicken Marsala. The 3tender, large medallions of chicken were perfectly cooked, as was the angel hair pasta. The Marsala wine sauce was unbelievably delicious! We finished with an order of the 2 cannolis, which were fully stuffed and yummy! Lastly, the service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. In summary, we will be back very soon to try more tempting items on the extensive menu!

Went for the very first time, not knowing what to expect, it is really fancy and the food is absolutely AMAZING, I had the Mushroom ravioli and the flavor was spot on, highly recommended this place for special days!

Second visit this week, so glad to have a good Italian restaurant in the area! Today, lunch with friends - excellent food, friendly and efficient waitress, very pleasant experience!

We had 3 different dishes, all wonderful. The trio appetizer is AMAZING. It's a great sample of the quality meals offered here.

Excellent services by Victoria, friendly staff and delicious food always! My husband and my daughter go there almost weekly. It’s a place I like to treat myself in a nice atmosphere. I don’t live very far away from Papa Vinos but when I go there I feel I’m away from home far in distance to a fancy restaurant. My favorite is their sirloin steak with roasted potatoes and garlic strings beans, their newest mozzarella cheese sticks is the BOMB of IN! Desserts wise their seasonal pumpkin tiramisu and the High level of chocolate torta cake.

Great upscale environment for a quiet dinner in Warsaw. Food was good and service was exceptional. The complimentary bread and oil appetizer they bring is delicious and flavored lemonade was great too!

This is mine and my wife's new favorite restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, the waiting staff, is ALL top notch. We have been twice now, and order something different each time. Have not had a bad dish or experience yet. The price is fair for the amount of food you get, and you get A LOT of food. The waiting staff is very knowledgeable, and helpful as far as the menu goes. The restaurant is deceptively HUGE, so if it looks packed out in parking lot it might not be as bad as you'd initially think. I would recommended asking for a wine pairing with your dish, as they have quite the extensive wine menu. As far dish recommendations, I would suggest the baked cheese ravioli or the chicken scallopini. Both are all star dishes, but I don't think you could miss with any order. Our waitress this evening was Brogan, and she was wonderful. Anyways.... Don't sleep on this place, if you haven't been yet.

Great place to eat. I had the best Grilled sirloin I’ve ever had here. It was seasoned so well & the potatoes/Brussels were great!

Looked at reviews and maybe the issue with portion size is due to it being lunch time. Lunch portions are always smaller. At our 8 person dinner tonight it was absolutely amazing. Portion size was not an issue at all. On any of the meals. Each got a separate meal. Even the dessert portion was crazy huge. Carrot cake for the win. Everyone except for two had to get take home containers for the remaining meal and dessert as we couldn't eat it all. I highly recommend trying it!! Great service from Ethan and other staff. And the bread is fantastic with the oil mix and ask for butter it is delicious!!

Working in town , stopped in for dinner. Sat at the bar and Jen was awesome. Ordered the Rigatoni Al Forno and it was awesome. Stopped in again and had the Manicotti and it was fantastic as well, Kendra was awesome too.

We had dinner at Papa Vino’s this evening & I have only been there one other time so this was a real treat! We both had Chicken Marsala for dinner & for the appetizer we had the loaf of bread they serve with olive oil & spices, & we also ordered the Spinach & Artichoke dip which was out of this world by far the best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever had! They served it with thin slices of toasted garlic bread which was perfect for spreading an ample amount onto the garlic bread! When I say this was the best spinach and artichoke dip, I’m not kidding! We both had unsweet iced tea to drink, and the only reason I gave 4 stars for the service was because I did not get a refill in a reasonable amount of time. It took a very long time, and they weren’t that busy to warrant that length of time. I’m pretty patient. So we thrilled with all the food choices we made this evening at Papa Vino’s! Thank you!

Spumoni ice cream, lemon sponge dessert, 6 layer chocolate cake, gnocchi, lasagna chicken park, scampi scallop angel hair pasta. All wonderful. The moscato was not on my list to try again - neither brand. Wait times were very reasonable. Portions are generous and staff and management was superb. Everyone from walk in to out was gracious and kind. Appetizers - trio and artichoke spinach dip were wonderful as well.

Really great bread loaves to snack on ahead of the dinner... So Great, we asked for another one and received it without any question. the lasagna was good, the Chicken parmesan was good and the pizzas offered a different approach to typical pizzas.

The bread was so fresh & the roasted garlic & herbs olive oil dip was wonderful. We ate 2 loaves before our food came. The zoodles & shrimp was great for my husband, who tries to eat low carb. The rigatoni Alla Nonna was plenty of food for my granddaughter & me to share with leftovers. We will definitely go back!

I love love love my dinner at Papa Vino’s! My food came super fast, and amazingly delicious. I ordered the chicken parmigiana over spaghetti as the main course. It was 10/10 perfect to my taste. The dessert we had was carrot cake, and OH MY it was the best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted in years. Nice and moist full of flavor. My server was Victoria J. She was so sweet, thoughtful, above and beyond. If you guys go eat there ask for Victoria J. She will take excellent care of you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Never ate here before, but 1st impressions were excellent! This is a classy and fine dining restaurant with peaceful music. Brought my wife for our anniversary, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! We didn't feel rushed either. Meal portions are large, and the service was great. A+ 5 star from start to finish.

We have been going to Papa Vinos long before it came to Warsaw. I was extremely excited when it did come to town. Excellent food. Mature atmosphere. Excellent drinks and services are honestly best in town. We are creatures of habit. I always get the Sizzelini and the wife gets the Bochi with prosciutto. Really good dishes. Always fresh bread and seasoned roasted garlic with oil to dip. Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. Update 9/25: Still the same. Service was great and extremely quick and this was on a Friday night. Took our 3 boys this time and they loved it. We have 3 boys with 3 totally different food preferences and they all really liked what they got. Also good bellini's!

The mushroom ravioli with a salad are my go to options at Papa Vinos.. And if you want your chocolate fix then get the chocolate torta, omg!! You'll have enough to share with your neighbors, but it's worth it, just sayin' 😋

One of the better of the Italian restaurants. Fancy feel but very casual dining. Prices reflect that as well though. The free bread at the beginning is delicious. They give you oil mixed with toasted garlic chips for dipping. The past 2 times I've been the garlic chips have been stale though so that was a bummer.

Amy, our waitress, was awesome. She could train others on how to treat customers. She greeted us with a smile. Made our visit enjoyable!

I cannot say enough about how great the food is. My wife and I travel alot and experience many different restaurants and this is easily one of our new favorites. To top it all off the server Alexus was way over the top awesome and really made the lunch great! Perfection! Cannot wait to be in the area again. If in Warsaw Indiana This place is definitely worth the stop!

Where to begin. The atmosphere is amazing! It is very fancy and Warsaw is lucky to have this restaurant. The portions were just the right size. The decor is really well planned out. What we didn't like: 1. Super loud in the restaurant. The tile floors echo everything and there is nothing really on the walls to absorb the sound. Very surprised for a company that is growing that they don't know this by now. 2. The prices on the check did NOT match the menu. My spaghetti meat sauce showed 10.99 on the menu and my receipt showed 12.99. My daughter's was 11.99 and the receipt showed 19.99. That's a big difference. Maybe there were different sizes or something else we didn't notice but I will be very observant the next time on the prices. 3. Our waiter (Jesus) was not very quick about anything. When he brought out the food he didn't ask us for cheese and we had to flag him down. Maybe he had an off night but I would imagine after the food was delivered we didn't see him again for a good 25 minutes. Only because another table flagged down a different waitress did Jesus come back in the room and we could ask for the box and the check. I almost went looking. 4. Speed of food delivery was not super fast. The restaurant at 6:30 PM on a Monday was about 1/3 full (or less) and we waited about 30-40 minutes for our food. 5. Only saw one manager the entire time we were there. I am rating this as a 4 star because I felt it was good food and not a terrible experience, just was surprised by these above things. When asking the rest of the family on the way home: they liked the atmosphere but preferred the food and service at the other Italian restaurant in town.

I love the authentic feel of Papa Vinos. The service has been phenomenal every time I have been there. My only "complaint" is how burnt the crust was on the flatbread. (Picture doesnt quite show how burnt it was). Definitely try the cannoli 😍😍

K

Nice venue! Lots of cozy booths. Long bar area. I even noticed the landscaping was plentiful and went well with the architecture of the building. We got lasagna and it was different than I'm used to but good. I loved my Caesar salad but I like the papas salad better!! I loved the eggplant parm and we always get the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli. I'd like to go back and try some of the appetizers and pizza. The carrot cake looks incredible!!! It's so smart of them to have a side door for take out!

The service was speedy, attentive, and kind. The meatball appetizer was phenomenal, the best I have ever had. The tortellini con Alfredo was so creamy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The lasagna was flavorful, but the noodles were hard/rubbery and dry. The staff and management were very eager to rectify the situation; they offered assistance before we even asked. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food received.

It was good. Service was great. Food was okay. Not bad but just not the mark for Italian. Id come back though and try other things. Carbonara pasta was good though. 8/10 would reccomend.

Great food and good drinks. If you like Blue cheese, the Pappa's martini is great. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is the bar is often overwhelmed and a bit slow.

N

The lasagne and chicken parmesan combo and the mushroom fettuccine. The combo was great. The fettuccine was BLAND. It needed spice, acid and the big chunks of uncooked garlic were off-putting . Abby was our waitress and she was terrific.

M
Mya Shae

The service was great, he told us the specials. I was just not impressed with the quality of food, I feel like the chicken was very rubbery and the sauce was watery with not much flavor. But the atmosphere was comfy and quiet. The staff was super nice, the food just wasn't my favorite

M
Madelene Bussert

I rarely order chicken Alfredo out, but i did. I make it by scratch at home so i would order what my friend got, the Mediterranean chicken looked great but was a modest serving. The waitress/bartender did not tell us any Thursday specials. We saw walking out, $6martinis.

Papa Vino's has such an opportunity to be a leading and enduring restaurant in the greater Warsaw area. I have limited the number of visits I take there, with both groups and my family, simply because the restaurant quickly became inconsistent and it's delivery of inspired and even hot food. Sad to say, despite being on the upper end of area price points for moderately fine dining, the place consistently struggles to provide food with real body, that simply has taste as if someone is paying attention to the otherwise great recipes that Papa Vino's is known for. Unlike other restaurants of this chain in the broader area which retain a very high level of taste quality, something is simply missing here though I don't know what it is. The food just doesn't come together in any meaningful or memorable way. That's been consistently true after the restaurants first 6 months of operation here. Secondly, the food is consistently simply not hot. That is somehow a problem with the handoff between the kitchen and the server. I've noticed this multiple times, which is fundamentally cut using this restaurant for out of town guests and business purposes. It's hard to believe that the management does not realize this is a problem. And apparently the ownership or upper management at the regional level isn't aware either. Other than that, if someone wanted to go and enjoy a nice restaurant with quality appointments and pleasant visual appeal, this is it. Unfortunately it's a restaurant and that's his secondary, not primary, purpose. I sincerely hope they pull it together to go beyond mediocre back to its original greatness.

Spaghetti and meatballs. I believe they forgot to add the sauce. This is a reoccurring problem. Asking for extra sauce gets you maybe a tablespoon more. You actually have to pay for a cup of sauce. Your better off buying a couple of quarts and some meatballs and bread . And making the spaghetti yourself at home

M
M K

The pizza was good, but you shouldn't limit people to only two toppings, that's just stupid and it took too much effort to ask for more than two.

R
Ryan Miller

The wait staff are top notch. The decor is greet. Unfortunately, the food does not meet that same level. I actually would rate the food 2.5 stars, but that isn’t an option. While I was with a larger party that rented out a private room with buffet style maybe normal entrees of the menu would be better 🤷‍♂️ The Caesar salad was underdressed, the Alfredo with the tortellini tasted like it came from a jar and the pasta noodles in the lasagna were very chewy and not a lot of taste with the sauce. We ended with chocolate chip cookies that seemed like day old and thrown in the microwave. Again, the wait staff knocked it out of the park, though!!

The prices we looked at online did not match the menu when we arrived. To me, this is not like our Joe's pizza and pasta in Texas. The food was good and the service was good but would not recommend it just because its too high class and I don't like places for the hype.

S

BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING. The posted menu has multiple copies of food dishes with the same descriptions and different prices. (Example: chicken Parmesan is listed twice.) The menu is deceptive in that, the example I have offered, is listed once on the front and top and again on the back and bottom of the menu. Waitress claims the difference is in the portion size. The $14.99 is a larger portion (single breast filleted with a small portion of spaghetti) versus the delicious dou which comes with soup or salad choice and $11.79. doesn't make sense. This dish should NEVER be more than $10 unless served with additional compliment. Anyone Reading this could make this dish at home for less than $5. I do.

T
Tex Nolan

Dawn had the Rigatoni Alforno, and I had the Wild Mushroom Fettuccine. The Fettuccine sauce was like watered soup, which made me think they watered it down to get more, and that added to the bland flavor. The spinach had some flavor along with the mushrooms. But the noodles which were perfectly cooked just no flavor. Dawn's Rigatoni was 180° the other way, it had beautiful flavor in every bite. The sauce was perfect, while the noodles held a pasta flavor. The cheese held it all together and combined all the flavors in every bite. Now, this review so far would be five stars for Dawn and three stars for me. But what really messed this up was the Google Review of their Menu. According to Google, both of our plates are 12.99, and as you see, we were charged 16.49. I understand inflation, just not for a business that is less than 60 days old for a 27% increase. There are plenty of reviews showing that restaurant management is responding. I think they should remove the false advertising of prices. The atmosphere is great for many and the place is busy. It's too fancy for Dawn and I. And we would still recommend it for someone who has the money, but we will not be back since they can only get one plate awesome and the other like they are stretching their dollar at our cost. I now remember why I haven't been here in a while. Service is horrible. Took 15 min to get our water and coke. Another 15-20 minutes to order our dinner. Sat in the bar, which is nice but watching the bartender and all other staff pull bar fruit out of the serving container with her fingers is quite disturbing. And not just mine, everybody's. And then she wiped her hands on her pants. 30 minutes in and still no appetizers. Watched another couple leave without ordering because service was so bad. Appetizers never did arrive. Dinner was mediocre at best. The penne pasta with chicken and broccoli is better out of the freezer section at Walmart. Same with the tortellini. The only thing that was decent was the flatbread. The only good thing was that they took one meal off our bill. BTW, I left the cocktail on the table, couldn't bring myself to drink it after I watched the bartender pick a cherry off of the work surface and put it in a drink after she dropped it out of her dirty hands.

We ordered the kids menu spaghetti and it came with hardly any sauce on it at all, it was basically plain spaghetti noodles. We ordered the mushroom fettuccine and it had no flavor whatsoever. The bbq chicken pizza was just okay. We ordered the dessert trio and the portion sizes were small for the price and the flavor was below par. For $55 I definitely expected better, we tried multiple items and not a single one made me want to come back.

Maybe people go here for the pasta? The pizza was really disappointing I’ve had better frozen

So first let me say, we love PaPa Vino’s! We came from Plymouth to enjoy a good meal but after 10 minutes of nobody coming to our table, we left. They were not busy either, only saw three tables and two were leaving. We are now at Salvatori’s down the road and we were seated and greeted within seconds! Hope you guys do better! Good food and service is hard to come by these days

My wife was dying to try this place. Good Italian is hard to find in NE Indiana. I ordered the mushroom fettuccini and minestrone soup. The soup came out and looked nothing like minestrone, no noodles, and mushy looking. One bite and it tasted burnt, like it had been sitting on the warm flame all day. The pasta came out and at first I was impressed eating the noodles but once I started eating the mushrooms with it, the further I got into the further my stomach started revolting and I stopped eating it. Within 1.5 hours I was throwing up non stop the most horrible filmy oily vomit. Since that night I have had consistent stomach nausea, vomited twice more, and horrific stomach acid that will not go away as well as relentless stomach cramps. I highly recommend this restaurant look at their food storage/cross contamination. We will never return.

J
Jeni Boyd

The food was disgusting and I will never return. My family went to celebrate a birthday, so we had people from 3 different households that will not be returning, as well. You would think fettuccine is good just about anywhere, but it was like someone cooked it, put it in the fridge for 3 days and then microwaved it for a minute and served it to me. It was glue. Very dry and hardly any sauce. My husband ordered a small pizza and it was like a cheap $2 pizza you could get in the freezer section. My ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were so rubbery, she couldn’t even chew them. Then I decided to at least get a dessert to go. I got some lemon cake thing. It was also old. The breading part was very chewy and some weird consistency. I don’t know what is going on over there with the food but it was awful. The service was good. The waitress took my fettuccine off the bill for me. I never leave reviews on anything but I just had to with this place. Eat somewhere else and spare yourself!
