The 610 Squadron bar and grill

Had a breakfast here today (12/1/24), fantastic service, food freshly cooked and brilliant quality, highly recommend it and will certainly be visiting again.

10 of came for a meal last Friday I've got to say the place is lovely the staff was polite and the food was amazing , the pork belly bites are to die for, also the triple cut chips , best thing was all the starters and food came out at the same time 5***** service all around 😋

Sunday lunch for four, we all had the chicken supreme dish, it was delicious.

Had a really nice family meal. Food was received in good time and tasted lovely. Staff were very friendly and never rushed us. More expensive than pub grub, but quality was excellent. Only minor point, due to open plan, found the noise levels a little to loud. They also have a nice beer garden at the back of the hotel. Thank you for an enjoyable evening, and please pass on our thanks to the waiter and the kitchen staff.

Only popped in for a quick drink as we were passing. What a hidden little gemstone, the garden is absolutely divine thoroughly recommend spending an afternoon/evening sit in this tranquil oasis I'm yet to try the food but will certainly be making a date in the near future. The staff were friendly, polite which is a great bonus as well.

Recommended to us so we gave it a try last night. We are so glad we did. Lovely atmosphere with comfy seating. Polite attentive staff. Slight mix up with our order but rectified with apologies. These things happen. The food was amazing and we are looking forward to returning soon.

The 610 Squadron bar and restaurant is part of the Woodcote Hotel, Hooton, Cheshire. I occasionally go there for breakfast, although since I live nearby, I don't actually stay at the hotel. The venue has recently been modernised and is very nice indeed. The meal is freshly prepared and very well presented. It is excellent value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and always make me and my friend feel very welcome, even though we aren't residents. The large car park makes visiting very convenient, although Hooton Train Station is only a short walk away.

Absolutely fabulous service and food. Really well maintained place and how it's not more busy I have no idea! Fabulous food for a great price with some of the friendliest staff I've met for a while! Think we've found a new regular restaurant!

Here for group dinner , about 40 of us . The room was lovely, food excellent and the staff both efficient and friendly . A really special evening at a really special venue

Early tea prebooked, nice friendly service great food was pleasantly surprised, will be taking the in-laws next time as its a nice and calm atmosphere!

Food is fantastic 😋 really tasty 2-4-1 drinks between 5pm and 7pm. The beer garden is lovely nice and chilled . Would most definitely recommend 👌

Great place , the owner ( Chip )has got a great buisiness, the food, staff decor and the location all really nice , I can't fault it .If the hotel had a sauna and a swimming pool this place would be 5* .

The food and service at 610 Squadron bar and grill is excellent. The only reason I’ve not given a 5 star review is that I was served a thick slice of bacon instead of a gammon steak for £15.50. It was thin and nowhere near the size of an any gammon steak I’d had before in a restaurant or as a pub meal. The smoked haddock risotto was stunning, the cheesecake was good. The chips were awesome. The beer is well kept and tastes great. I raised feedback with the restaurant during the meal and was told they’d changed supplier for meat. I think they need to change again. Such a shame as this is a lovely restaurant.

Just had the most delicious lunch with my sister and niece at 610 Squadron. The staff are lovely and so attentive. Very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful beer garden. Look forward to returning.

Not much variety on the menu, hence ordering a burger, although wife enjoyed her sea bass. Staff not attentive and it certainly wasn't busy. No 'hows your meal' and I even had to go to the bar myself to order drinks, ask for desert menu (which we decided not to bother with) and even a glass of ice for another customer who also couldn't get service. To top it off, after paying the bill, I noticed a 10% service charge! First and last time at this restaurant

Sunday lunch was not good , cabbage was awful and only half a carrot a couple ?roast potatoes 1 piece of beef for £20! service was poor .and we were called. 'guys'!!!

Possibly just a bad day but the food was poor We've eaten here a few times and this was nothing like expected Shame really previously really good

Went for a Xmas meal with friends and my mum and her friends went week before and I nearly cancelled after her experience...food was edible but basic we all had the roast, it was shredded carrot parsnip and sprouts, 3 small undercooked roast! Potatoes, turkey ok 2 thin slices and small square of under cooked stuffing! Huge Yorkie. That was nice. Service was very slow, and when we asked questions they were unable to answer! Was hard work all staff seemed to be hanging around the bar area. My mum order a pudding with her friends but an hour later never arrived and had to pay bill as taxi turned up! Won't be rushing back unfortunately.

Only diners in the place , another table being used for bookkeeping didn't improve the atmosphere, ordered a bottle of pino grigrio. Offered glasses from a chilled opened bottle or a full bottle unchilled, opted for a savignon blanc (chilled). Mixed grill came with steak cold which was taken away and returned 5 mins later warm, microwave?? The only saving grace was a decent waitress, Amy.
